Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

How do i resolve this issue?  

Hi all. What is the best workflow to get HEIC files out of Apple Photos and converted to JPG format that will maintain the best quality? They're currently on my Mac in Apple Photos as originals and on my iPhone as optimized.My ultimate goal will be to merge the JPGs into LR Classic and manage them there.Should I just import them into LRCC mobile or the desktop app and let it convert them to JPG automatically, or would the quality be better if I exported them from Apple Photos to JPG?Lastly, in the future, should I continue to shoot HEIF on my phone or just shoot JPG if I don't want to shoot RAW? I've heard mixed reviews of HEIF, with some sites saying they're way better than JPG and others saying to stick with JPG. I thought HEIF would be more like a "compressed RAW" format, kind of like the Sony compressed RAW format, but after reading more about it, it seems more like a slightly better JPG format with a higher bit depth. Accidentally deleted photos in lightroom mobile before I subscribed to premium. Can't find photos in local storage or gallery trash. Is there a way to retrieve those photos? 

Lightroom is constantly crashing after startup, no specific action is making it crash   Tried reinstalling, didn’t solve the problem Plenty of Cloud Storage is remaining.  Use Graphics Processor is set to auto System is very stable with all other programs. Bonjour, j'ai utilisé un masque Lightroom pour le sujet de ma photo. J'ai ensuite ajouté dans le masque, avec le pinceau, plusieurs parties du sujet pas détectées par le masque d'origine. Dès que je change les réglages du masque, les corrections de lumières ne s'applique pas aux coups de pinceaux qui sont pourtant intégrés dans le masque. Je viens de perdre 3h, et je dois tout recommencer s'il n'y a pas de solution. Est ce que un bug ou Adobe n'a réellement jamais pensé à ça ? Je pense qu'il y a une solution, ça me paraitrait étrange que les équipes qui travaillent pour Lightroom n'y aient pas pensé, c'est la base. Etonnant toutefois que la solution ne soit pas accessible facilement. Quelqu'un aurait la réponse ?

I went from PC to iMac and used the migration to transfer files from PC to iMac. In the meantime I signed up for Lightroom on a monthly basis. On the left panel it has ALL my folders and photos in some of the folders. But others when accessed have the following message: "This folder does not contain editable files" then a photo icon with a + inside, below that "photos will appear here if added. Below that, "Show in Finder"I have thought of two possible solutions, maybe!ONE.  Have all my photos in folders on both of my external drives. What if I deleted the current copy of Lightroom and install a new copy then copy the individual folders into Lightroom.TWO. Cancel my monthly subscription at the end of the term ( maybe I'm still on my 7 day trial). Then some time later, sign up again and copy the individual folders as in ONE.any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm a novice to iMac. 

I've been trying to get premium features but the application is just giving me a notification saying that "something went wrong, try again later"  help me with this.

After opening the camera in the Lightroom app, the front and rear cameras cannot be switched. A black screen appears and the camera gets stuck when switching. This issue only occurs on Android 15 devices. It seems that the app is not adapted to the new Android version. Please help troubleshoot and fix this issue,thx~

My Lightroom refuses to create any sort of subject or background masks, (although the sky masking function did work) and my pictures have a sort of green glitch all over when imported. (when I select any masking feature other than sky the application reads "not responding" and an error message appears saying "something went wrong, an unexpected error occured and your request could not be completed." About a week ago, everything was working perfectly so its rather confusing as to why all of a sudden my software seems to be falling apart. I am currently working on an asus pro art laptop with a 4050 graphics card. This is a new laptop but I have been working on it for about a month and a half already with no issue, this problem started about 4 days ago and I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, installing the latest drivers, updating my os, running diagnostics for viruses and changing wifi sources, so far with no change. It would be super helpful if someone knows whats going on with

I get this error box whenever I open the Lr app on my android. Restarting phone and app does not help. I've re-download it several times too and it doesn't help.  

Using Lightroom creative cloud on mac.  Obviously Lightroom software has to be installed on the same drive as the OS.  As I have limited ssd space I would like to keep everything else, images edits etc on my external ssd.  Is this possible and how would I do it?  Thanks in advance.

I have 100Go space, is it possible to increase it?

Does anyone know if there is a way to free up space in Lightroom without deleting photos? I have some things wedding albums I need to clear out, however I don't want the people I shared the photos with to lose their photos in the event they are still using the links 

I use Lightroom cloud.  I also shoot lots of video.  I want to keep everything off my internal harddrive and also have the rumoured better Lightroom processing from working from a faster SSD. There are soo many confusing instructions regarding the use of lightroom and SSD, especially because of the confusion in lightroom names.  A lot of the threads that boast increased Lighroom editing speeds are dealing with the desktop Lightroom Classic.  (1)  Will there be an increased processing/editing speed in Lightroom (cloud version) if I use an SSD to store the files or the catalogue (edits)?(2)  I've seen some threads recommend storing both the files AND the catalogue to the SSD and then some threads recommend ONLY moving the catalogue to the SSD.  Which should I be doing?(3) How do I do this transfer?  Do I need to change any settings? 

I have recently installed the latest version of lightroom, and man do i wish i didnt.My denoise feature no longer works and everything in general is slow and buggy. Its not an issue with my computer as i have just purchased a new one.  Has anyone else had any issues.  Thank you in advance,

Whenever I import images into LR, they show up in reverse order. So if I want to rename them when I export, they end up in reverse order in the destination folder, which is annoying for example when dealing with images from an event. Also, when I am working on a timelapse and would like to use the export to also fix any numbering issues, this creates a problem. I end up having to reverse the direction of the video to have it turn out right in the end. Is there a way to just import in the correct order?

Hi...sorry if this is a rookie question.  But, I am not able to re-order images in a local folder in Lightoom.  I'm guessing this is something simple but can't seem to find it.  Any guidance would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Can someone explain the reason why Lightroom Camera on an Android mobile accepts only six images clicks, so I have to keep restarting the camera all the time?

I am using the newer version of lightroom but as i am editing pictures it keeps freezing. 

Can anyone please help to edit a picture? I need the dark shadow on her face to be gone. I would like to see her face natural without any dark spot or shadows on her face. Thank yall for your help. God bless  

Until a few months back, I was able to simply select any photo from any album in the app and share-download or share-export to get it on my device, and forward it with eg whatsapp. Then, I started getting the "couldn't complete export" error on every attempt. See screenshot. I let go and assumed the bug would be fixed and the problem would go away by itself... not so... Pls help Note -this happens with every photo, not just a few-clearing the cache does not help-reinstalling the app does not help-yes, the device has ample storage and is up to date-I presume storage permission is ok, as there is no toggle, and no way to check whether it is switched on   Seems people have ben having this issue since at least 2018?? I already posted this a few months back, Adobe support jumped in, but then the line went dead 😞  

I am currently running Lightroom (subscription) on an iMac with macOS Sequoia 15.2; Lr and OS are up to date. Lr fails to respond when trying to open and I get the hypnotic spinning color wheel. Eventually I have to force quit. Restarting the computer, even disconnecting it from power before restarting helps inconsistently. The same issue occurs with Creative Cloud and I have to go to the uninstall-repair and repair the app before it will open. Once the Creative Cloud app is repaired it will open and Lr can be opened from the shortcut in Creative Cloud. Any clues as to what the issue is with Lr not playing nicely with the macOS? I'm reluctant to uninstall & reinstall both Creative Cloud and Lr as I understood Lr can be opened without opening the Creative Cloud desktop app as long as I've logged into my account once every 30 days. Help?
