Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

I've been waiting for 2 days. Tried to upload from Mac m1 & iPhone. Another photos uploaded successfully (before and after)

Hi, I have just uploaded an album to share, however clients only seem able to download at a reduced quality - for example 2048x1458, 586.3 KB compared to original at 5600x4000 at 19mb.  Is there any way clients would be able to download a higher quality image from a shared folder on Lightroom CC?Many thanks,A.

Each year, I come here to see if I'm the only one that would love to see a "full" LR on iPad to actually take advantage of these more and more powerful iPads. Like what Blackmagic Design did with Resolve. I have been DYING for LR on iPad (like, a real LR). I feel like the current one is just so cumbersome with all the "finger-centric" workflow. Keyboard shortcuts aren't too helpful. There's no color labeling, no stacking (to keep organized), you have to constantly expand each and every panel you want to work on before you can work in it... am I just way too stuck on Classic, or is this iPad LR hard to work with as a pro? It just seems very slow (the workflow), and no matter what I try, the workflow is just impossible to be quick with when you're working with thousands of photos. Or is it because I just don't stick with it and learn it SUPER well? Thoughts?

I've installed Lightroom 7.2 on an up-to-date Win11 notebook with a 10th gen i7 CPU, 1+2 TB SSD, 32 GB RAM and an RTX 2060 GPU. All other video and photo editors, like Photoshop, for example, work fine. Lightroom, however, works no more then just a few minutes or actions and it freezes. In some cases, after a few minutes, I can see menu selection flickering when hovering the mouse over, but usually freeze seems to be permanent with max 0.x % CPU use, GPU use, disk use and few GB of RAM. First trying to open the Healing pane caused freeze. I can, however, adjust image settings, but when I click the color picker in Point Color and move the picker over the image, and once I stop my mouse, LR goes freezed again. This phenomenon is independent of whether GPU acceleration is enabled, and also independent of what refresh rate I set between 60 and 100 Hz for the display.  Image/file size doesn't matter, happens even with a 1MB file of 1600x1600 px. While moving folders in Lightroom from a subfolder to the desktop within the Lightroom ecosystem. it duplicates the folder which didn't happen before the latest update.Am I missing something here?? Is there a new setting?

When I group photos it takes me to the bottom of the page, I want to remain where I am in my album. It to remain and now it doesn't anymore. this is severely affecting my workflow since I take lots of multiple exposures.

Please I need help. I use Lightroom on Android 14. My album pictures are not arranged sequentially or numerically. It makes it difficult for me to locate pictures in the album.

HiI am using the latest Lightroom CC 7.2Can you still access the tone sliders that used to appear under the curve in point curve mode?Also seems the pull down menu to select the preset medium, linear etc curves is also not there any more

The incositency is amazing, certain times mouse wheel can zoom in, other times if you have a tool selected in will change the size of the tool? This is terrible UX design.  What am I missing? I've never struggled with any software before to find and understand the zoom mechanics.  

Hi, I recently got the Lightroom CC Mobile app for my iPad and iPhone.  I have taken photos with my Nikon DSLR that includes location data.  The location data shows up fine if I sync my photos into the ios photos on either my iPad or iPhone, and it also displays just fine (shows a Google map location) when I am in the Lightroom CC Mobile site via my web browser (Chrome).  However, it does not show location similarly when I am the Lightroom CC Mobile app on my iPad or iPhone!  Is this just a feature that does not transfer over to the ios app, or is there a way to display it?  Thank you for any tips or advice.

Hi, I'm sorry if this is a question has been answered many times. 1. I have two Adobe ID. Let's say A and B. A has no subscription. and B has a photography plan.2. I have been using account A to create many albums, and edit a lot of photos in Lightroom from my iPhone for a period of time.Now I got account B which has photography plan for a year. So I want to export all the albums and edited meta info of the photos from A to B. How should I do that? Thank you in advance!

I have standard setup - Photoshop Lightroom (the cloud one) and Photoshop. I am on the Photoshop Plan and have 1 Tb. It isn't all that cheap. The problem is I like to work a lot in the Nik Collection in Photoshop. But after I have applied a couple of filters here I end up with a tiff of e.g. 670 Mb.  (The orginal raw file is about 20 Mb). But I can see that it is only going to take about 1300 images like this to need to buy more space. At 150 images per trip (travel photography) that isn't going to take long. If I move up to the next level - 3Tb - it begins to be a serious amount of money (for a hobby).  My current solution is to save the tiff to a removable drive and also save a high quality jpeg. And then manually import the jpeg into Lightroom. (And then put it in a stack with the orginal raw file).  This way I keep my edits in my library (and in the cloud) - at a cost of just 20Mb. (In theory if I ever needed to edit the tiff I have it on the removable driv

First off, I have been going through dozens of threads looking for an answer and I can't find a single answer even from posts made in 2017... I have Lightroom 7.2 as well as every single application by Adobe with the package. My internet is absolutey top notch, and my PC is the best of the best right now with the newest GPU, CPUs, etc., just running on Windows 10 and NOT Windows 11.Issue 1)Cloud sync does not stop ever:   When I hit "view" it just says:"Oh no! A black hole. No photos matching these filters were found."    Issue 2)Half of my photos I cannot export and/or "edit in photoshop":     Yes I found out the issue which is that I duplicated a photo in order to make a new edit of it while saving the old one... Which causes issues for Lightroom CC for what reason exactly...??So now all of them have these "invisible" photos for no reason whatsoever: Again, makes zero sense. Yes I have seen all of these "answers" and none of them seem to work at all.

Hello everyone, I noticed that, unlike Camera Raw or Lightroom Classic, if I'm doing some changes on RAW files/DNG (for example rating with Photo Mechanic or some editing with Lightroom Classic/Camera Raw) with Lightroom CC opened, to see these changes I've always to close and reopen it. There's a way to solve this problem or is another lack of Lightroom CC?

Hi, I would like to take advantage of local files in a number of ways, but I am not exactly sure how local files and the clould based architecture interact. I tend to take a lot of pictures and then come home and wade through them at the end of the day, deleting photos that I don't want to keep. There are usually only a few that are really worth saving. I'd also like to limit the amount of space I pay for in the cloud and have an additional backup just in case the cloud somehow fails.   This is what I am thinking in terms of process to achieve the above goals:   1) Upload all my images to a local directory and then weed out the bad ones. Land these files in a local directory called "New Photos" 2) For files I want to keep, move them to a new local directory called "All Photos". As a result "New Photos" should remain empty most of the time.  3) Add GPS coordinates to photos if they don't exist. Update Location and Title meta-data. I used these Info fileds as search fields

I have had a Lightroom Mobile Premium Account for a year and a half. I am using a Samsung Galaxy S21. My subscription valid until July of 2022. I opened the app this morning and the Selective Edits feature was missing. It was there yesterday and I utilized it. Anyway to recover? I confirmed my subscription, uninstalled then reinstalled the app, signed in with my ID and password, but still no Selective Edits. Any ideas?

Whenever I export an editted photo and open it on my mac the photos look grainy and much lower quality than what I had in lightroom before the export. Putting these photos on social media or looking at them on my phone they seem to be back to the quality they were before the export. Export settings are:JPGCustom dimension6000 pixels longside100% qualityStandard screen sharpeningsRGB How can I have the images retain good quality when being viewed on my mac? I want to make sure anyone I send the photos to can see good quality photos.

I've a big issue, have been using Lightroom mobile for a few years but recently got a new SD card and tried changing storage location to SD Card but its been days and its stuck endlessly going Copying to new storage location. I've tried moving all the photos out of the folder to a new one on the phone (wish id done that in the first place) als otried force stopping the app but does not work stil lthe same.I've searched and seen others with this problem and they had to uninstall the apps but that is not an option, I do not want to lose all my created presets.Please does anyone have a fix for this without uninstalling? btw  im uasing the free mobile app
