Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

Is there anyway to quickly copy "common" meta data - ie city, location, state - from on photo in Lightroom to multiple photos in Lightroom?   (Thread title edited by Moderator)    

Lightroom 7 cannot migrate my Lightroom 4 catalog. Lightroom 6.5 is the oldest version that I could install on my Mac but it also cannot migrate the catalog. I would like to make a try using Lightroom Classic. I have a Lightroom 1TB plan that does not include Lightroom Classic. What happens to my plan if I install the free version of Lightroom Classic which includes 20GB and Lightroom again? Or does anybody have other ideas how to migrate the Lightroom 4 catalog to Lightroom 7? I was not successful with my searches for solutions on the Internet. However, I'm not a computer expert.

I am having difficulty starting up Lightroom (Cloud based) and latest version.  I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it is not responding. Any suggestions please?

Guten Tag Zusammen,Ich wollte gestern/heute meine Videos welche ich aufgenommen habe in Adobe Lightroom bearbeiten und auswerten. Dabei kommt immer wieder diese Fehlermeldung (siehe Foto)       Woran kann das liegen?Gestern hiess es ich müsse ein Programm installieren und verlinkte mich auf den Microsoft Store (Programm Name: "HEVC-Videoerweiterungen" (siehe Foto2)) für ein Programm welches 1.- CHF kostete.       Und jeher ich dies zahlte, änderte sich an der Problematik nichts. Nun sind die 1.- CHF weg und ich kann noch immer meine Videos (.MOV- & .mp4-Datei) nicht öffnen und nicht ansehen.Kennt jemand eine Lösung für dieses Problem oder ist jemandem dieses Problem bekannt?Lightroom Version: 7.3Vielen Dank im Voraus für die Bemühungen und wünsche Euch ein schönes Wochenende! 🙂Freundliche GrüsseJoel

My tablet only has 2mb ram so adobe kept me at v8.2.1 which was fine -  but a security update came out and I updated to v8.2.3 and I have not been able to use Lightroom mobile since then. Images sync fine - but - when I tap on an image, any image, I can't do anything because it's stuck "loading Smart Preview". I can't do anything in any manner with any image. It shows a little blue swirlie and as I mentioned - any image I tap - it indicates it's "loading Smart Preview". I need the previous version "v8.2.1" Thank-you.

Dears, I am trying to import a new preset I bought on my mobile (iPhone) Lightroom app but the drop down menu does not have the option "importpreset". It only has "create preset" and "manage presets! 

Hellomy lightroom has not been working for three days. The loading wheel is spinning all the time and in the upper right corner I have the information - synch photos and unable to connect to network. I have space in the cloud and a paid subscription. The other programs are running normally.How am I going to solve this problem. I'm working on the iOS system. greetings Paul

Hola, Lightroom se cuelga y se bloquea continuamente,  no me deja hacer nada hasta que lo reinicio, lleva así más de un año, desesperante, tengo 2 cámaras una D90 y una D7500, la D90 la uso poco pero he mandado a limpiar la D7500 y le he dado un uso extra a la D90 y a raíz de eso he descubierto que Lightroom solo se cuelga al procesar las fotos de la D7500, las de la D90 las procesa sin problema , mi pc tiene las siguientes características  Procesador    11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11390H @ 3.40GHz   3.42 GHz RAM instalada    16,0 GB (15,8 GB usable)Tipo de sistema    Sistema operativo de 64 bits, procesador basado en x64Gráfica Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Lapot¿Puede ser algún problema de configuración de la cámara?, se me empezó a colgar a partir de la versión 12 creo

I was in the community section in the app, and I clicked "provide feedback" and it brought me here.So here is my feedback: give me a way to hide or disable the community tab, I will never use it and I don't like seeing random photos when I accidentally click on it. I don't follow these people and I don't want any content suggested to me. I am here to edit my photos, that is the only thing I want to do in this app. 

Hi!Im working on iPad Pro 2019 on latest os version (17.2) and latest version (as to day) of Lightroom for iPad.I was using Lightroom for iPad for last 3 years and it was running ok. Also I always had disabled smart previews because Im working on fine details in my photos (mostly .CR3 files from Canon Eos R).From like month or two I barely can work because select brush is lagging so much. It's like 1-2 second delay between touching screen with stylus and any app reaction.Also noticed that when Im rotating screen during edition - screen is glitching green. (attached video)I reinstalled App, I restored iPad twice and took it to Apple but they tested it and said that it's Lightroom app problem. I dont have any other problems with this iPad anyway, it works perfectly.Is there any fix for this problem?

Somehow when I went to open a catalog I actually tried opening a jpg file instead of a lrcat file.  Now it is frozen telling me that "Lightroom - Opening Catalog: DSC01373. I have tried rebooting but no luck. I have tried uninstalling LR but I am told it wont uninstall as LR is open (trying to open the jpg file I assume).  Has anyone ran acroos this> Thansk in advance! 🙂  

Bonjour, depuis la dernière mise à jour de lightroom (hier) je rencontre un problème d’affichage lors d’un recadrage. En effet, après recadrage, la photo (nette) recadrée apparaît complètement floue. Elle reste cependant nette à l’exportation. Si quelqu’un sait comment régler ce problème, ça m’intéresse, merci !

Moin vom Deich,wie kann ich in Lightroom Mobile auf meinem iPad 3 (2021) die Tags verwalten, die ich händisch zu den Bildern eingebe? Also zum Beispiel Tags löschen oder umbenennen?Und warum werden mir bei der Tag-Eingabe nach den ersten Buchstaben keine Vorschläge für Tags gemacht? Kann man das irgendwie einstellen?Für Hilfe wäre ich sehr dankbar! 

I am using the Adobe Photography plan with 20GB cloud storage and always import my photos on the iPad, sync it with Adobe cloud to my Lightroom Classic, then move the original files to another local folder and after delete the photos in the “synced photos” grid view to releasing cloud storage. Following this process and only using smart previews which should not count in my 20GB storage plan I should have very low utilization of my storage capacity, but I am constantly close to the 20GB limit with using only smart previews online. Can you please tell me how to view which photos are stored as originals in the cloud and using the storage after deleting all original files online ?  Thanks in advance 

Hi! I have been having a major issue exporting from Adobe Lightroom to my ssd. This has never happeneed to me before, and I have over 700 GB of free space left. It keeps saying I dont have permission to save in a specific folder, and I have tried to watch every Youtube video and look things up, but nothing is working and its super frustrating. In Lightroom Mobile, the processing order defaults to photo capture date and time, which is the most sensible most of the time. However, on occasion, I want to process by image name order for a series of images with the output files registering processing date and time such that in other photo cloud systems such as Google Photos the photo order correctly by date and time. I can't see this as possible now, although I can order photos by name in Albums, so if I process them by selecting them when in the Album, will this produce what I want?

For several weeks if not months Lightroom has not been presenting which photos are edited and which photos are unedited correctly. When I search for unedited photos. Whether in an album or in All Photos. Edited photos show up in the unedited filter. I see hundreds of files with this issue.

Suggest Lightroom mobile allowed to use a custom preset taking picture 

Hi since Light Room up dated if I use denoise I then can't right click edit in photoshop. nothing happens

I have used 170 monthly pack, but even though my money has been debited, my lightroom account still cannot use premium. 

I have always used Photoshop Fix Mobile App and Lightroom Mobile App for the clone stamp tool. The Photoshop Fix Mobile App is discontinued and the Lightroom Mobile App is giving me a new tool for generative AI instead of the clone stamp tool. I need to find a clone stamp option. Can I revert back to an older version of Lightroom or anything else I can do to get the clone stamp tool back?
