Accidentally lost my work? How can I recover please Help me!

With the popularity of 360° Cameras, it would be great if LR could support reframing the photos taken by them. Currently it's a nightmare process of stitching it outside LR, exporting for processing in LR, exporting that for reframing outside LR, then taking that export back to LR for final processing. If LR had this ability natively, it would streamline the whole process. I'm trying to migrate away from the clunky Lightroom Classic (I've been using it for years and have no real compaints other than it's well clunky lol) I would love to import with my iPad Pro and even the Ligthroom CC application and not sync the full RAWs to the cloud. I have my destination folder set to a NAS drive in my house, so originals are stored there. To have just smart previews in the cloud is all I need. I have all my smart previews in the cloud currently and would love to keep it that way (What Classic does with mobile syncing to cloud but in reverse). I'm paying for the Photography Plan currenlty and wouldn't even mind paying a little more a month, I just simply don't need all RAWs synced to the cloud, and furthermore it takes so long because I have pretty limited internet. I've searched around and realize this might not be/or ever be an option. So my next question would be, is it possible to clear the RAWs from the cloud at a later date? Thus clearing cloud storage an

Before I started subscribing to the Lightroom plan on mobile, I used the Lightroom plan on a desktop application. Currently, it has expired and I have moved to subscribe to Lightroom Mobile. I am unable to edit any photos from my local machine on Lightroom mobile. How can I fix this?

The blur tools seems beter in windows now but it still doesn't work that well as have an occasion where it still freezing lightroom completely, can only free it in task manager on windows 11. Luminar Neos version works reallt fine...Just thought you should would. Thank you CA Young. UK

Pixel and Samsung phones (are going to) have dedicated AI sections in their CPU setup. Is this something Adobe can use too to make object selection or removal faster?

Since shooting with a Sony A7M4 I realized a strange behaviour of Lightroom.Unfortunately the Auto White Balance of the Sony cameras is simply not as good (never has been for what I am doing) - I'm used to be required to correct WB in post. However, Lightroom auto is giving really really bad results lately - producing a completly unnatural a pink/yellow color cast.I'm using LRCC as well as Classic. Both programs behave similarly bad.My screen is calibrated and I use a calibrated printer with ICC profiles, i.e. I have some basic know-how in color management. The different devices are calibrated independently and the color cast is universal.I am attaching a photo that is essentially OOC, just exposure +0.5Then one using "Auto Edit" with "Adobe Color" profile and one with "Adobe Landscape" - both with "Auto" Edit.In contast, in Capture One it takes very little tweaking to the auto settings to get what I consider an "as was" rendition of the scene. Please note I selected one example b

i go to open lightroom (not lightroom classic) and a red message pops up saing local catalog damaged. below that it says you can fix this problem by restoring from your cloud backup and gives step by step below but i cant find the file they start off with for this procedure. ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app on my computer, restarting my computer, and searching through my documents but cant find anything. i just want to be able to edit my photos again, please help

Hi -  I'm not sure what to look for here.   I have 3500 photos I am attempting to import.   Lightroom continually brings them up with sync issues - they will not sync.   I've deleted my trash and retried in other albums, file names, etc.   What's next?   I am on the latest Version 7.0 - 20230927-2320-8b251c5 Build.   Windows 11.      

Hi, I have a problem when visualice the pictures in information and ratings modes. Pictures are not sharp until I accept or regret the pictures.So it starts blurried until I acept or regresa it. Then it loads totally the picture and is sharp.Thanks

Issue: I use an Android OS 9 model phone and inputted a bunch of captions for photos in an album in Lightroom. Originally they synced to LR Classic just fine. Then I opened Lightroom on my computer and it had syncing issues. Once I got it to sync again all the captions on my photos disapearred.  This was hours of work erased. 1) Is there a way to recover the captions that were erased through the syncing process?2) If this is not a bug how do I prevent this in the future?  Lightroom Mobile: v9.0.1 on Android Note9 with OS 9Lightroom Desktop Application: 7.0 x64Lightroom Classic: 13.0.1Windows 11

just noticing some of my images are not showing my shutter speeds?when i open the image in ps and look at the info panel, the shutter speeds are listed.any ideas why?i've used LR for many years and this is a new one!thanks

I'm trying to screen mirror Lightroom from my 2023 Mac to my Jimveo 1080p projector. It's blurry no matter what I try. I've always used Lr for IPS on my tv with HDMI but the tv was too small so I upgraded to a projector but the quality is horrible. 

Why does the movement of a simple edit slider cause Lightroom 7.0 to change the Created, Modified and Added Dates of my image files? It is not changing the file, theses edits are not saved back to the file. Any guidance appreciated. Regards

I have just been informed through an online chat with Adobe that the delete from disk option which was so useful for removing 'rejected' photos from my harddrive in LR Classic is not available in LR (CC). This means that I will have to keep track of the bad photos and delete them manually from my harddrive. This delete from disk feature is very useful for me (and I presume many others) and so if it could be added to LR that would be amazing!Thanks

I have been using LR Classic for several years.  Now there is an option in Lightroom to use local folders which do not require a catalog.   My question is this.  Since all edits are stored either in the catalog or the XMP file how can I see my edited photos in Lightroom by browsing the files on my harddrive.  Do I need to export all the edited photos from Classic or build XMP files for all of my photos?  Not sure how this works?  

I initially subscribed on December 5th and later unsubscribed because the premium features were still locked and could not be accessed. However, when attempting to resubscribe, I'm encountering an error stating that the purchase has already been made. Despite canceling the previous subscription, I'm unable to subscribe again, and the Adobe Lightroom Mobile app on my Galaxy device cannot process the purchase. I've attempted to resolve this by:I am confirming the cancellation of my previous subscription.I am logging out and back into my Adobe account.Clearing the cache and data of the Adobe Lightroom Mobile app.Attempting the subscription process through different networks. Please provide guidance on rectifying this issue promptly, and if there are additional steps required from my end.

Est-ce que je peux faire une installation supplémentaire sur ce PC portable, avec le même abonnement? After editing an image in Lightroom, is the XMP metadata showing the post processing edits made automatically input and is it included when exporting? Thank you.

Are LIghtroom custom metadata fields viewable by other software/applications? What I'm trying to avoid is creating custom metadata fields for thousands of old family photos, sharing those photos with family members, and then other family members not being able to view the metadata custom fields because they don't have Lightroom or we are 40 years from today and Lightroom no longer exists.

I have the Lightroom app on iPhone and it's taking up way too much space. After extensive googling, I've seen people clear their cache by clicking the three dots and navigating to local storage... only my app does not have a clear cache button. Is there a way to clear it without losing the couple of presets I've purchased?  

I have a 10,000 image library currently managed by Lightroom Classic.The images are hierarchically ordered by year/month/day and cross indexed bykeywords and collections. To manage this with the current and futureversion of Lightroom, I need to be able to look at collections of the imagesby keyword or collection, and that means looking and photos that come frommultiple directories and not all of the photos in each of those directories. It's not obvious how to do that.
