Hi to everyone. I have an existing Apple Mobile Lightroom account and my archive contains 25K pics for a total of 256Gb. Now I need to pass to a Adobe CC account with a new Adobe account. My problem is that I need to pass all the pictures to the new account. How can I do?What are the option to save all my raw file + metadata (modification) to the new account? If I try to download all the 25000 pictures I always get some kind of trouble due the long time required to make this download. Please, help me. thanks!
meus presets e importações sumiram do aplicativo lightroom! O que faço?
Lightroom PC recommended prest problem. I want to use presses. But when I select the photo and video and then press the recommended button. I'm getting this error. "disable for local images to get based suggestions from the community, sync and edit in cloud." I use photo and video recommended prest on mobile, there is no problem. I use recommended prest for photos in online lightroom, no problem. However, I cannot use Recommended Prest on my PC at all. How can I use recommended prests on PC? Thank you in advance. Meanwhile, all information is synchronized, open and active. Internet conditions are very fast and problem-free.
Using LightRoom 6.5 and all the sudden denoise stopped working. It was totally fine but now every photo says "photo format not supported", even photos where I have already used the denoise ai on them (the orginal raw files not the denoised DNGs of course) so really not sure what changed. Is this a known bug? Will it be fixed soon? These are all raw files out of a Nikon, and like I said was using the denoise AI until it randomlly stopped working so the issue is for sure not the file types as the error message says. {Thread title updated by moderator}
hello i perminantly delete my cloud storage because its already full because of my previews events and when i deleted it i didnt know all my preset were deleted too, how can i retrieve it back? any advice will do.
I own an Nikon D5600. I have been using Lightroom for over a year and only recently have run into issues (when previously I had no issues). I plug in my camera to laptop using a USB cable, turn on my camera and have been able to download my full shoots directly into Lr. I currently have Lr 7.0 and have been wildly unsuccessful in importing photos. Nothing has changed about my upload process yet I see "No images that can be imported were found in the selected source" when trying to upload images from my camera to laptop (Mac). Any advice? I have tried rebooting Lr, rebooting laptop, checking security preferences. Thank you!
When you delete a photo that has not completely synced, it stays in the Deleted folder for 60 days, durring which, the sync error will persist. If the file is deleted, the sync issue should also be - either that, or make it easy to find files that have sync issues in the Deleted folder (yes they are flagged, but that requires searching through all deleted photos and visually identifying which ones have sync issues).
I typically do all my edits on a local hard drive and then once I'm done I move the folder to a NAS for long term storage (after syncing my favorites to the Lr Cloud). Is it better to move the folder within Lr's local browser or is it just as good to move the folder in the Finder outside of Lr? I can't figure out if Lr is following those photos or will be annoyed when it doesn't see them if I move from the Finder. I'm hoping the answer is "it doesn't make a differece in Lr". Thanks,David
I have a problem with arw files that are normally stored in Lightroom on my computer but doesn't transfer to lightroom mobile on my iPhone. Previously I used Nikon with nef type files and everything was transferring normally without any issues, but now I switched to Sony a7III and somehow the files are not synchronized even though Lightroom says that the cloud is synced. I have upgraded Lightroom versions both on computer and on phone
I have no clue what happened. All of lightroom library and albums are gone
As the title says. When I open Lightroom CC on my Mac I get a banner message across the top saying that my SSD is disconnected and it is unable to sync 12 images. However withinin the Lightroom app I can click on Local, and the SSD is accessable. I just went through a couple hours of troubleshooting via the Chat option with Adobe. My tech help, Deepak, was remotely connected. He even uninstalled and reinstalled the Lightroom app. He tried deleting plist files. However the banner continues to show up. Clicking on the cloud icon there is a message saying there is a sync issue. Apparently Deepak decided he had better things to do as he told me to "Update my system" then he ended the session without any other information. At no point was there any question of what needed to be updated. All OS and Adobe updates are done. I have attatched a screen shot showing that the app is giving me this error while also showing that it is able to access the drive. Any
I'm a bit confused, because the Edit in Photoshop function does not seem to be working for me the way it used to. I'm on macOS 11.6, Lightroom 5.0, Photoshop 23.0.0. Here's what I'm doing:1. Select a photo in Lightroom and choose "Edit in Photoshop" 2. Photoshop is launched automatically and the photo is opened3. I make my edits4. I select "save", and a save dialog window opens5. I can save the file somewhere, but the edited photo does not appear anywhere in Lightroom I have recently updated my computer and Adobe suite versions, and I feel like this differs from what I remember from previous workflows I had. I could have sworn that step #4 is different - I thought that when I saved my changes in Photoshop it would automatically update the photo in Lightroom, without asking me to choose a location. Am I doing something wrong? Or is there something wrong with my setup?
Hi, There’s one issue that makes editing photos problematic. When I take some photo it look great but a moment I open and start editing it in Lightroom it immediately smoothes out the photo loosing many details and sharpness. It’s not possible to restore effect before that. This issue’s been since I’ve got an iOS version of the app and applies to all raw photos and only raw. Has anybody ever had similar problem?
Hi,I'm on Android (Galaxy S20 Ultra). It has been working fine for me until recently two things changed. a) New LrM with changed GUI and b) I moved Lr to the external SD Card (writes solid 40MB/s, so works fine). The issues:Cropping images is very slow. The more often I crop the same image, the slower it gets it seems (maybe a memory leak). Sometimes the app keeps displaying me the message, that it's running to slow and if I want to exit it or wait. Waiting continues operation of the app, but rather sooner the message appears again. Often times the app will run quite a while without that issue. Sometimes when I edit an image, the image suddenly closes and I'm back in the browser. All changes I made since the opening the image get lost. Cheers
Hello, I have having an issue where the storage in my Lightroom has 2 TB available and I've used over 200GB of it. But that same 200GB usage is being applied to my 100GB storage limit on other apps. Is there a way to separate the two storages? I'm not sure if I'm syncing to both storages or if this is a bug with my specific account. I can keep importing to Lightroom no problem but every other app is showing that I am at 200GB out of 100GB. I would like to use my other apps without having to remove my Lightroom library. I am using the latest version right now on Windows 11. Thanks.
Hi there! I recently transitioned from a Macbook Pro 2019 to a Macbook Air running MacOS Big Sur. I save my catalog to an external drive and set the same destination folder on my new Macbook Air, but now am getting the error when importing from an external drive to LR 4.4 that "some photos were not added": All files are .CR2 RAW files that were copied from my SD card to my external hard drive. This error also occurs when I save to my desktop or a local folder. I no longer have access to my previous MacBook pro and am worried that there was locally stored information I may have neglected to copy over that could be impacting this (though I did copy all adobe files onto my external drive). Any ideas or suggestions are much appreciated!
When I look up photos by camera, it shows 12,242. However, when selecting all of them to put in an album, it only selects 10,000. What happened to the other 2,200 photos listed under camera? See screenshot of album size and camera selection size.
The issue at hand relates to exporting photos with a watermark in Lightroom. Previously, when attempting to export my images with a watermark, everything worked correctly, and the watermark retained the color I had selected. However, I've noticed that every time I try to export now, the watermark inexplicably changes to a shade of blue, despite having previously configured a different color. I've reviewed my export settings and watermark configuration, and everything seems to be in order. I haven't made any significant changes to my workflow, so this unexpected behavior is puzzling.Has anyone else experienced this recently or have any ideas on how to fix it? I would appreciate any advice or suggestions you can offer. I'm also willing to try different approaches to resolve this issue and regain consistency in the color of my watermark during export.
When drawing brush mask only first touch point is as defined by brush settings, then mask is less visible. Attached video. What is wrong?
Once my image edit is featured, I can see that in the Featured catalogue of Lightroom. However, each time I scroll left or right on the list and return back to my edit, the number of likes changes abruptly. It doesn't show the correct number and is random. Sometimes its lesser and sometimes its more than what it's originally is. Even if only the owner of the edit can see the likes, he should be able to see the correct number each time. Please find some screenshots for your reference. One screenshot each when I have scrolled left or right past my image and then returned on the same. I have highlighted the random change of the likes.
I have the Lightroom version 5.3 and it won't let me upload photos to edit!! I just resubscribed today and I haven't had this problem until now. Can someone please help me out.. It keeps saying "unable to copy"
I created and shared an album from a collection in LR Classic. When viewed in a browser, some of the images are distorted. A small disc with a +/- sign appears in the lower right corner of the screen. You can move the image around with the cursor. I'm guessing that the image is being interpreted as a panorama but it's not - it's a standard 3 x 2 uncropped image. This happens on multiple images. Any idea why this is happening and what I can do about it?
For years I am using Lightroom and the creative cloud abo, so I have premium features available.I'm sharing several albums to my wife and friends and all of them were able to contibute, uploading fotos and videos to these albums via the LR iOS app. From 9.x on this seems not to be possible anymore? LR app tells them to purchase the premium abo, so they can sync data to cloud?! Anyone else experiencing this issue? Uploading photos and videos via web interface is still possible for contributors of these shared albums (without abo) but until LR 9 mobile they could use the (free) LR mobile app as well...
I am upgrading my Windows 11 PC with 32 GB RAM and need help on how to best configure my hard drives for Photoshop, Lightroom (cloud) and Lightroom Classic. So I have two internal drives and an external 8 TB Seagate hard drive. My OS and apps are on my C Drive (500 GB with 202 GB free) and currently my photos are on my other internal, E: drive (1 TB with 446 GB free) which has space, but I am wondering if I should move photos to the external - I do know that I would need to move in LR (cloud) to preserve editing. But if I do, do I assume correctly that that will also be where I find photos in Photoshop and LR Classic, not just LR? Since I have my photos in a One Drive folder on E:, not a folder titled "Photos", or whatever, would I simply move the One Drive folder? I'm not well informed about all of this, obviously. Is there a step by step tutorial about how to do this safely? Also, I need to know how to properly configure my scratch drive - which I kn
Hi community, I am struggling with something very basic and hope someone can help me. I must be missing something very obvious. I am using LR (not Classic) and Portfolio. I have created albums in LR and I have a "Connection" to Portfolio. I added the albums to the Connection by right-clicking on the album and then clicking on "Share To > Adobe Portfolio". The connection shows up in the left panel "Connections > Adobe Portfolio" menu item. When I click on it, I see all the albums I connected (using Share To > Adobe Portfolio) with Portfolio. In the list of albums, I can see the number of photos in each album, and for each album, I have a "view project" button that brings me straight to the website and I have a "resend" button (don't quite understand what this is for). Everything is online and visible on my website. So far so good. Now I want to make changes to my albums.Let's keep it simple. I just want to add a new photo to an album with - let's say -
