Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

I was able to edit photos fine (offline as well) without any issues until I subscribed a few days ago. I have tried toggling the "Store Locally" option hoping that it would speed up the loading (the spinning wheel each time I open a photo). This did not work. In addition, I turned on Airplane mode in my phone and tried editing, expecting that it would let me edit my photos as I have "stored them locally" but it prompts the error "Failed to load development version"Can anyone please help me with this?

Is there a known issue with 7.1.2 and the Win11 23H2 update?I updated to 23H2 at the weekend, and now LR crashes regularly - mainly when selecting the Masking tool.I've tried setting GPU to off - that slowed everything down, but didn't fix it.Win11 23H2, 16GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX1650 - all drivers up to date... 

Hello I've downloaded new fonts via Creative Cloud and installed them on my iphone and Ipad. But impossible to find them for my watermark on Lightroom mobile !! Any tips to help me ?many thaks bu advance 

So I'm a long time Lightroom Classic user who has recently purchased an Ipad pro to work into my workflow. Ideal uses for the ipad are (1) a secondary bluetooth LRC display for clients on shoots, (2) A more portable and fun editing tool (apple pencil, etc..), and (3) general "Wow" factor when displaying work. For 90% of my shooting, I am tethered to my macbook (natively), so right off the bat, I believe I am limited to Lightroom Classic. (Im not interested in a 3rd party tethering solution. I've been down that road!) After a week or so of working with the Ipad and LRC in tandem, I'm scratching my head about a couple things, and was hoping I might get some help here.. 1- Biggest Problem! I dont seem to be able to sync the full size raw images to my adobe cloud. Once I create a collection in LRC and sync that collection to the cloud, I only get very small smart previews, and there doesnt seem to be any option to sync the full size files. I find the smart previews very frustrati

In the Desktop (Mac) version of Lightroom (Cloud), there is an option to display Albums by Name only (no thumbnail image). Is there a way to do this in the mobile (iOS) version?

depuis plusieurs semaines, je n'arrive plus à synchroniser mes collections avec le cloud et lightroom cc. Quand je crée une collection dans lightroom classic, que je clique à gauche sur la double flèche pour la synchroniser, la synchronisation commence et s'arrête.Les images n'arrivent jamais sur le cloud et je ne peux pas partager de lien avec mes clients.C'est extrêmement utilie pour moi de pouvoir parter des collections, et ça ne fontionne plus.La seule solutioon (temportaire que j'ai trouvée) c'est d'exporter les images, et de créer une collection sur lightroom cc, mais le process est lourd et peu pratiqueQuelqu'un a-t-il le même problème? Merci beaucoup

Hallo, nachdem ich von ADOBE die Nachricht bekommen habe, dass im Laufe des Jahres die Funktion zur Datensynchronisation von Creative Cloud eingestellt wird, bleibt für mich die Frage auf die Auswirkung auf Lightroom mobile. Ich nutze das erweiterte Abo-Modell mit 1TB-Speicher und bearbeite meine Fotos ausschließlich mit CLOUD-Zugriff von zwei Macs.  Funktioniert das dann nicht mehr? Vielen Dank vorab für eine kurze Rückmeldung.Gruß, Bob 

After the photo session, I connect the SD card and transfer the photos to the external SSD drive. Then I transfer the photos from the SSD to Lightroom. I see that some albums are still syncing. After disconnecting the SSD from the computer, all the photos are in the cloud. If the computer no longer has access to the SSD and they haven't been uploaded to the cloud yet, where are the files?

My lightroom classic is installed on a PC and its catalog is synced.On my laptop (LT) I installed lightroom CC and I can see the synced albums/collection from PC.I created a new album, on LT, using Lightroom CC and I noticed it is automatically synced also to the lightromm classic catalog on PC.I don't want that.How can I prevent specify albums, created elsewhere, in this case on LT, from syncing to my Lightroom classic on PC?

Hi everyone. In the Lightroom app with a specific video I go to save it on the phone and it crushes me by sending me to the 'home' of Lightroom. With other videos/photos it doesn't do this to kind of crush, only with that video. I tried everything i don't know what do anymore. Could anyone help me? thank you very much 🙏

Has anyone had this problem? I pay the subscription to Lightroom Mobile and was sure I had this option at the beginning but it has been removed...it's not under Masking or any other tab. I've installed and reinstalled the app and it still hasn't come back. Any ideas?

I'm encountering an issue I've never seen before. I sync photos from LR Classic to my ipad. My most recent batch will not allow me to make any edits. I get the above error code along with "The photo failed to load" and "dng_error_unsupported_dng - ReadNegative_Proxy". I don't use DNGs. These are Nikon raw files (NEF)My LR Classic desktop is up to date. I'm on Mac Sonoma. LR on my ipad is version 8.1.0 By comparison, previous batches still work properly in this same catalog. I've noticed that those images say "Smart Preview" for both the Local and Cloud. The ones that uploaded most recently only say "Preview" for Local, Smart Preview for Cloud. Not sure why there's a mismatch since I didn't do anything differently. Appreciate any help!

I just installed Lightroom CC on my new laptop and the Undo button isn't showing up at the top right as it does on my old one (it's to the left of the Share button, separated by a vertical bar). I can't find a setting anywhere to show hidden toolbars. I can undo from the Edit menu or by pressing CTRL-Z, but I prefer the toolbar button. Any idea how to display the Undo/Redo toolbar?

Hello,  I've had Lr for years and just recently purchased the whole Adobe series, through which I also get Lr. I'm wondering how I can merge my old Lr account into my new Abobe/Lr accounts. Is this possible? If so, can someone help me nagevate this process? I looked online but ended up with more questions than answers. Thank you all very much for your time and support.  JP.

If I delete the photos that are stored on my computer will that affect what is stored on the cloud? 

So I've synced a collection in Lightroom Classic to the cloud and I'm now trying to use the Android app on my Galaxy Tab S9 to rate and review the photos. The problem is the photos as seen on the Tab are not updating to show the basic edits I've already done and synced in Classic to fix exposure and white balance. When I go into any indvidual photo and wait about 6 or 7 seconds it updates to show the correct edited version so the sync is happening alright but only on a one at a time basis and as I've posted in another bug report earlier today the updated settings are still not visible in the album preview thumbnails. That alone is a dreadful user experience. But what makes it even worse is when I want to use the tablet to rate and review images because when I open the "info and rating" dialog, where I should be able to swipe through my photos and rate each one, the saved develop settings do not update to the image at all. Maybe a strange question.I want to share Cloud albums with family members, just to let them look at the albums.Do my family members have to create an adobe-id to get access to the albums? They don't have an adobe license like I have to manage my photos.Regards.

So I'm a long time user of Classic and I'm trying to make use of the cloud features so I can be doing some basic editing and rating of images when I'm not at home. The sync between Classic and Mobile leaves a lot to be desired though!  Two problems.... First of all, when I edit an album in Lightroom Classic the edits are visible in the gallery thumbnails on LR mobile on some images but not all. I've attached a screenshot showing this, the ones with an overly orange look have not updated. But then when I go into the image it updates to the correct colour balance which shows sync is working from Classic to Mobile. And then the second problem... well its the same problem really... even after the image has updated to the corrected colour balance when I go back out to the thumbnails it's still showing the orange version! Surely after the image has been forced to sync and the correct version is now on my device the thumbnail should update but sadly, no! 😞 Lightroo

What are the chances that someday Denoise will be available for use with Lightroom on the Ipad Pro? Or, is it even possible? I certainly understand that in its current format, Denoise requires incredblile resources to function properly. Thanks for your thoughts (and patience).

I was using a trial period of Lightroom desktop and it looks like there are more filter/search options than in the mobile version. I'd like to keep my photos in albums and the desktop version lets me filter by whether photos are in an album or not. I can't seem to find this option in the mobile version on my iPad.  Is it possible to do this somewhere in the mobile version or will it (hopefully) be added later on?
