Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

How do you remove light beams on a photo that are covering the entire person?

Is there a reason why "move to" album results in the image being moved completely out of the album, but it will immediately then tell you, "you can also achieve this same thing by dragging and dropping," when drag and drop actually results in copying the image? It is hugely obnoxious because I've ended up accidentally deleting things that I didn't mean to, or creating duplicates of things in different places when I really don't want to do that. There seems to be a limited amount of internal logic for how this software works. I am trying to organize a trillion photos and I am having a really hard time understanding why a $250 billion company can't figure out a way to manage duplicates or make this software a bit faster than, you know, molasses in January, or whatever. I would call customer service but I've already spent hours on the phone with them about an account permissions issue ("you don't have an account" turned into "you have two accounts" turned into "your free trial h

Re LR Mobile: iOS, iPad OS, Android annual Samsung/Google flagships: the app still crashes so many freaking times per day attempting the simplest functions... Please make it not do that anymore.  Also, product and dev teams seem lost in the sauce, I'm now forced to learn and struggle to get used to my third UI this year and the underlying code is still incredibly unstable, regardless of platform and UX/UI.  CPO and team need to get their heads out of their asses. All of this has nothing to do with the fact that I still need CC, Classic, and Mobile to leverage all of the offerings y'all provide that I find remotely useful.  Imagine having one dev team for the product line with with a single strong leader guiding them? Mandated with consistency and user satisfaction? It's prob hard for y'all but I have faith you can strain those brains enough to get there.  Be better, please make it better because we pay you way too much for this nonsense

I'm shooting sports poses on a white background. The problem I'm having is when I select the athlete their sneakers are fully selected but when I add a solid white background the bottoms of the sneakers (white) are not fully displayed. I start with a levels layer and darken the subject to get fairly clear contrast before I select the subject and make the adjustments needed to make sure I've got it clearly selected. These are full body shots so it's critical that I resolve this as soon as possible hopefully with the help of this community.   I've searched online and tried the couple of different methods they suggested without any success.  I'm on a mac, using the latest Lightroom build and Photoshop Beta 25.1 release. Hello, my cloud storage is full and I'd like to free up space, while keeping the current images stored locally and accessible through Lightroom on my laptop.  I've seen some quite old posts on how to do this, but was afraid in case things had changed and I accidentally deleted something permanently.I would like to keep the cloud storage available for my current projects where I may edit in my laptop or iPad. The images currently on the cloud are selected as 'stored locally' to my raid drive, but I'm not sure what to do next.    I'm using Mac in case that's a different approach. thanks so much for your help !

Is there a way to just export the XMP? I use lightroom cc on a separate computer, and since my lightroom classic computer isn't putting the entire raw files on the cloud, the CC refuses to export raw + settings (xmp)My current setup is this:Main PC, with Lightroom Classic, syncing all of its images to Cloud to allow me to work while mobile between Lightroom Mobile and Lightroom "CC" on laptop. I work on this PC mostly as its the fastest. On my laptop, m2 max, I have Lightroom CC, to be able to figure out which images I want to work on, and I want to copy the "edit" that the Main PC performed. This way i can use the ACR to open the raw, with the edited settings, and open it in Photoshop and edit away...So I do the whole "export raw + settings" but sometimes that doesn't export the xmp. Honestly I just need it to export just the xmp, and I cannot figure out how to do it. So currently, I've been just painfully, just copying the preset/applying it, and verify all the numbers on the sl

I am trying to import some presets to Lr CC but it keeps giving me this message. I have tried the classic as well and get the same message.  

can any one can help me with this issue to be fixed i have unsitlled the adobe crative cloud and all of the adobe programs and then deleat SL and the SLstore but did not work can you help if i need to reimage the Laptop i can but if i can fix this issues with out reimage the computer will be good but yea   Thanks  J.B Clements 

I have a samsung s23 Ultra, and wanted to try the 60 day free trial. I started the subscription through the lightroom app, but none of the premium features are available, and I still have the "try 60 days free" button, but when I press it, it just says "couldnt complete purchase" "Already purchased", followed by "Unable to process purchase", "The galaxy store was unable to process your purchase at the moment". And within the galaxy store it shows that I have an active subscription. I have contacted samsung multiple times, and havent got a single fix, only got redirected around. Could anyone please help solve this problem?

Hi. I just find out a problem in Lightroom for mobile in my iPhone 12. I enable new editor with the new panel for edit. When I am in portrait mode it's all fine but when I turn the phone in landscape mode the edit bar disappears and the only think you can see in the screen is the picture itself. If you turn phone in portrait mode again the bar is fine again. Anyone with the same problem or any idea what's wrong? If I disable the new editor , the old bar is working fine in portrait and in landscape mode. Thanks a lot  

Hi!I do most of my editing in Lightroom, then go across to photoshop for final touches and go back to Lightroom.I recently upgraded my MacBook and since doing so, one key thing has changed in that process. After closing in photoshop and "saving" to go back to Lightroom, I never used to get asked about compression. Now I do with my new upgrade, and despite researching it, I'm so confused on what I should do. What kind of compression should I choose, and layer compression? I really preferred when they didn't ask me these things haha. Ive been trying to avoid the larger file size compressions, but the files still seem pretty mega!! And now Lightroom is sooooo slow to sync afterwards. It's been stuck on trying to sync like 20-30 images for a long time. It's painful. I assume it's due to the file size? any help, greatly appreciated!

Hello all,I am using Lightroom on my desktop. I'm loving the noise reduction, however, the changes don't appear on my exports. Some don't even appear in the section before I hit export (no idea what this bit is called! But it's not where the editing happens, it's after I've gone 'File > Export' where I can select export quality etc. In the settings section, I have selected 'large JPEG', full size, 100% quality. I am exporting 187 photos at once. I'm new to Lightroom as I have used Capture One so go easy on me! Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

The videos are normal while editing so why are they zoomed in when I view them in my photos? I have an iPhone 13 mini. 

Mac Ventura 13.4 using Lightroom CC for the first time after happily using my outdated Lightroom 5 for a while (although it had some flickering issues after my las OS update) I cannot believe it, but my very first time using lightroom CC after deciding to update from my older Classic software, I cannot even import images. When I select the folder to import after clicking 'add photos' it shows a blank screen, although mouse hover reveals the file names. If I click 'add items' nothing happens, then when I quit it says the import is still in progress. But no matter how long I wait, nothing happens. I tried importing from two different folders, one with JPG and the other with DNG files. Both had the same result.  

I just set up a trial for Lightroom today and it says I have 677MB of cloud storage used. I don't have anything on the cloud, nor have I ever. Any ideas why? I looked at all of the creative suite tabs in various places and I found like 10MB of images that I didn't recognize (no clue how they got there), but nothing else anywhere.

I am moving a lot of pictures off my iphoto iCloud because it is clogging up my Ipad.  I can not download the next update.  UGH!   So I looked into Lightroom for organization and the cloud (is the lightroom cloud the same as the adobe cloud?) since I use Adobe Photoshop, illustrator and After Effects often.  I moved over what looked like about 740 photos.  If you look at the Lightroom cloud screen shot below you will see that it has 225 mbs on the cloud.  That may be about right.  But if you look at the next screen shot the Lightroom library records 126.7 mbs.  That seems too little.  Same with the photos.library.phototslibrary which says there is 53.9 GB of photos in the library, but under storage, another screen shot, it says 45.85 gbs, AND on my icloud it says there is there are 65.2 GBs on the cloud.  Why are the numbers not adding up?  I want to make this switch and am nervous that I am doing something wrong.   

When I'm culling on LR mobile, it doesn't seem to matter how fast I'm moving, it pulls me out of info & ratings tab. requiring me to hit the ... icon and hit info&rating again. only for it to happen about a dozen images later. please see screen capture video.

Hello, i'm using Lightroom with the setting to keep the original on disk, I'm wondering if is possible to import and work on raw photos when the cloud storage is full and keep them on my disk only.

I have LR on my Android. Have LR on Desktop. For years LR desktop automatically would grab ALL my photos from my mobile and now nothing unless I first edit them on phone.  Please help

I have a creative cloud account that was purchased by my IT department. Recently this account was renewed.Today I logged in and it asked me if I wanted to log into a corporate profile or a personal profile. Having no context for what this means, and not wanting everyone in the corperation to have my files in their cloud,  I chose personal.Now my cloud documents are on a personal account that has no access to the applications that are a part of the paid plan. The account is also 40GB over cloud storage quota. (65GB of 20GB).I tried to contact Adobe support but recived a message that they will not help me because a person at my corperation has been designated as the only contact for support.I need my files migrated to the corperation managed side of cloud storage. How do I do this? 

I went to open lightroom today and when i clicked on it, something about a catalog came up and i clicked okay. It made up and there were only 38 photos in my libary and i had at least 1000. Where did they do and how do i get them back?

When I select two images, the option "Edit in Photoshop" is grayed out. When I select only one image, it works fine. What am I missing?

HelloI have successfully migrated a few thousand files from LrClassic to LrCloud. A few hundred are scans of negatives that were converted, processed and edited to positive using the Negatio Lab Pro plugin in LrClassic. As shown in the attached screen capture, these files are not correctly displayed with the error/ caution stating:"The profile "Negative Lab v2.3" that was applied to this photo isn't available on this device and will be changed if you continue editing. To edit the image and keep "Negative Lab v2.3", please open and edit the photo on the device you originally edited this photo on."Is there a fix I can apply to this problem? This is a screen capture from iOS LrCloud, but the same incorrect rendering is seen in the windows LrCloud program. If NLP processing edits donnot transfer from LrClassic to LrCloud, why don't these files scanned as negatives show as converted to positive in LrCloud but with such distorted colors etc. Is there a way to "proper
