I'm trying to import photos into Lightroom from my camera and a window pops up saying "No photos that could be imported were found in the selected source," even though I have photos/videos on my camera. They are photos and videos that I haven't imported into Lightroom before.
I had purchased the free trial for lightroom for Samsung but premium features did not pop up in the app. I've reinstalled/tried to use the restore button multiple times. When I click the button to start another trial, it says I can't complete the purchase because it's already been made and the galaxy store is not able yo process the purchase. Through the galaxy store, it says I still have my trial though February (60 days).I tried canceling the subscription but it should stay active until February. I'm just not able to access the premium features in the app... As a work around because I needed lightroom the last 4 days, I downloaded lightroom through the Google Play store instead but the trial period for this is only 4 days...
After using the Lightroom under Duke University subscription for over a year, my access was abrubtly terminated this week. And Lr was also no longer exhibited on my subscription plan. This made me unable to access my 100GB+ cache of files on Creative Cloud, which was generated via Lr in the previous years and no longer available for downloading.
I say many time why not open premium feature
I'm a huge fan of the option to create a nice looking online album and share that with clients. I'm also getting very positive feedback about this way of sharing photos instead of sending a .zip file. Clients can just choose the photos they want to use and only download those. The only function I'm missing right now is the possibility to define the name of the downloaded jpegs from a shared album. Usually when I share the .zip file I change the file names, add the date of the shoot, the subject and my name. I often shoot festivals and events, where the team changes regularly. So having my name in the file name is very important to get proper credits when the photo is used. Since we can't change the file names within Lightroom and I saw that idea was declined, I hope it will be at least possible to get an option to define what the file name should be when someone downloads the .jpeg from an online album.
Desde hace unos días en determinadas fotos me sale el siguiente mensaje: error al cargar la versión de desarrollo. Mi modelo de móvil es un huawey y la versión de la aplicación de Lighroom es 9.1.1. gracias
I opened Lightroom today on my phone and it kicked me out and made me login again. When I log in - all my photos and presets are gone. I even reset my phone from the latest backup like some forums mentioned but when it relaunched it asked me to log in again & nothing was there.
Every since I upgarded to 1Tb storage from 20gb the cloud doesn't allow be to go past 20gb when uploading to the cloud even though my account says I now have 1TB I have installed, uninstalled, clear cache nothing works. The Specialist on the chat can't help I called customer service they just tried to repeat whatever steps they have me on chat they don't work they escalated my problem and I still have yet to get a call from Adobe. Please any suggestions please I tried to tell them it's a Adobe Tech issue not my mobile or desktop issue is something behind the scenes my account is not recognized and I have more space
I THINK LIGHTROOM MUST HAVE MORE STARS IN FILTERS, AT LEAST 3 MORE, BECAUSE IN EVENTS WE REQUIERE MORE. OPTION TO PERSONALIZE WINDOWS (SIMILAR TO CAPTURE ONE THAT LETS PEOPLE KEEP THE ITEMS IN THE ORDER WE WANT)I THINK THERES MUST BE A "SESSION CATALOGUE" SIMILAR AS CAPTURE ONE, TO AUTOMATICALLY DETECTS PHOTOS TO EDIT, LIKE IN ADOBE BRIDGE FOR EASY IMPORT PROCESS. IN LIGHTROOM MUST BE AN OPTION THAT STATES (CLEAN PREVIEWS IN A EASY ACCESS BUTTON). THE ONE I WILL LIKE THE MOST IS MORE STARS...
App version 7.1.2 (macOS, 13.6, Intel) Just like it says in the title: my JPG exports are way too large in size. A 90%-quality JPG is 31.4MB, which is fine, I guess, but dropping that down to 30% quality and 500 pixels on the long side results in a file that is 30.8MB! This isn't a problem with the size estimate in the export panel either: I'm looking at a 30.8MB image that has terrible JPG compression artifacts and has dimensions of 333x500! I've attached it for your amusement. There's basically no information in this image and yet it's enormous! What is going on here? I've had the same results on an Apple Silicon Mac and my iPad was also reporting large export sizes, though I didn't experiment with it as much there. To be fair, this is a large Lightroom file with lots of masks, but that shouldn't matter when it's flattened into a JPG. For what it's worth, when I export to Photoshop and use the export feature there, a PNG file size at original res (
I need to free up space on my cloud based LR, i was wondering what is the best way to export originals to a local SD drive? When i've tried to do large quantities in the past, LR would just freeze out. Appreciate any help.
To maximize the life span of my critical boot drive, I have a dedicated 1 TB SSD drive (e) for storing all HD-intensive applications and data. How do I set all the Adobe apps to use only my e: drive, particularly Adobe Lightroom?Despite maybe hundreds of people asking the same or similar questions, I still can't figure this out. Notes:I don't need the cloud storage. For some reason, Lightroom uses over 200GB of space in the Adobe Cloud. I don't know why, nor do I want this! FYI, I ran a partial scan of my NAS photo storage before stopping it when I discovered it was eating up my c: boot drive space. My entire photo library is over 1 TB (stored on my local Synology NAS), which exceeds the capacity of my e: drive. This means that I don't want Lightroom to duplicate all the files.Questions:1. How do I change "Local storage on: c: TO e:?2. Where is the Cache (79GB) stored and how do I ensure it's on e: drive?3. What are copies of "smart previews" - I am assuming they
I have uploaded few hundred RAW's file to lightroom creative cloud in diffrent album, and i done all the edits on cloud. Now i want to download it as lcoal backup (original RAW +setting XMP) but i'm facing lots of problem. First Problem:I selected all the photos I want to export, after it downloaded to PC, most of the image is messed up, its image from other album on cloud. Even in the app the thumbnail of the image is the correct one but once click inside, the is the wrong image. How I solve itclear the cache in app and restart lr (redownload from server)manually delete cache in appdata folder Second problem:After all the correct images was downloaded (raw+xmp). I opened them in photoshop camera raw and check each image manually. Then I found that some image is still raw, the setting is not working (or the xmp file is empty?) eventough xmp file was downloaded. How I solved itclear the cache in app and restart lr (redownload from server)manually delete cache in a
Hello all, I currently have Lightroom 7.1.2, and I cant find the option to add watermark. Can anyone assist with this?
When you post the same photo to mulitple album for organization does each copy increase the overall size of the catalog, or simply tag the original photo?
Buenas a ver si me podéis ayudar, antes subía las fotos directamente y no me daba ningún problema, ahora cuando intento subir me dice que tengo que aceptar la subida de todas por
After 4 years trying to make LR CC work (yes, "CC", that's how its identified in Appdata/Local and Appdata/Roming, so, that's the name I am going with here), it's clear to me that LR CC has 2 critical flaws (they could be rectified if some attention was paid to them). Some background. I tried to use LR CC exclusively, partially hoping it would "solve" my growin disk managing issues. (It actually only made them more complicated.). I then tried backing off and keeping a secondary copy of all my photos in a synced version of LRC (eg. all files went in LR CC, I then used LRC as a means to collect the files on my computer so that I could actaully see what is going on). This was necessary because the "local storage" option provided by LR CC is opague at best) - I needed a mechanims to manage my files directly (e.g., see what files where overly large becuase I edited them in Photoshop and kept the layers). My next evolution w
Good day, I recently did a full backup and restore of my iphone using itunes. After the restore most of my photos were missing from my Lightroom Mobile albums. The total restore size of the App is 49Gb which means it did backup the App data. My Cloud sync was paused as cloud storage was full. My question is why is only a small amount of the photos showing in the app and not everything? How can I try and recover those photos? I have tried restoring a number of times, but the files are still not showing up in Lightroom.
After the new update this app is not working at all. I tried to uninstall then install this app 2 to 3 times but still it's not working!!!!?????? I am a Android user.
I am a professional photographer. I have been using Lightroom Classic for 20 years (since the beta days). Since "Local" was added on the last update, I really want to migrate to Lightroom and stop having to import and use catalogs, but I cannot until the following five features are migrated. I will briefly explain why I need each feature. 1. Quick Develop The ability to increase or decrease an exposure for entire jobs by a third to a full stop without changing the develop module settings for each photo has saved me hundreds of hours. If for some reason my monitor settings were too low or too high this feature is a god send. In the passed I increased a 2,000 picture finished event that took days to post process by 1/3 exposure within minutes. 2. Develop mode Snapshots. I use snapshots religously to make fine tweaks and compare different processing options. Especially if I am using Lightroom to do photographic art. I have a third party app that I use to creat a snapshot of all phot
Please implement more keyboard shortcuts when using a keyboard. I'm hardly missing command - a for selecting an bunch of photos (even all). Clicking on checkboxes makes me weak.
I am trying to use Lightroom (instead Lightroom Classic) and I am very confused how this cloud service works. First I tried to use Creative Cloud app for Windows 10 to upload files into the cloud. I entered "files" then "your files" and there is "no documents in the cloud" (I use Polish version, not sure about translations). So I tried to use plus icon to send some RAWs. But the result is that file type is not supported. Then I found in the menu that there is sync folder C:\Users\Jacek\Creative Cloud Files, so I just copied my RAWs there. Then I clicked on the cloud icon and saw that files are syncing. 3.6GB is synced. But I can't see them anywhere! Not on my phone Lightroom and not on PC Lightroom. So instead I used Lightroom, I clicked "add photos" and imported my 3.6GB files. Now files are visible both in Lightroom PC and on my phone Lightroom. Still Creative Cloud app says no documents. But, there is another problem. Now cloud uses 7.1GB storage, so files are uploade
Lightroom for Desktop (Mac) issues Still having a problem with the sd card "auto eject" after import. When importing from an sd card it used to auto eject after, I noticed this the last couple of updates and it's still not fixed (contacting online support about it a couple months ago) A couple different slider issues: 1. Sometimes sliders are not available when hovering over and unable to use the keyboard arrows with the sliders. 2. If sliders are working, and you hover over one, it will default the entire image preview to the imported settings/preview. The settings don't actually go back to import, they just preview the image back to import. (trying to explain this the best way I can) it's very weird. Lightroom for iPad issues: 1. When cropping, the crop sticks/pauses when moving the grid or cropping in. Can be very annoying when trying to get a precise crop, it stops in its tracks until you grab it again. 2. Healing tool seems very laggy and slow now 3. The whole app se
Observed on: Mac OS Monterey 12.7.2, Lightroom 7.1.2Im having an issue where I cannot open lightroom due to two error popups. The first is unable to move some photos, with an unknown fatal database error. Then followed by a local catalog error. I appreciate that this is an error that has been documented a number of times, but I seem to have tried all of the suggested solutions with no joy. So far I have tried:Renaming/moving/deleting the local catalog fileRestarting the machine and appReinstalling the appUsing disk utility to look for errors on the diskClearing cache within the cloud storage interface Any other suggestions before I reinstall the whole OS?
