Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

Hello, I'm on my 7 trial of LR on Android and I'm trying to blur a background.All the how-tos and tutorial I find say to reduce sharpness to -100, but that is really not a big amount of blur at all, it's barely noticeable, and is not enough to make the subject stand out.Is there really no proper blur function where I can choose the blur radius and amount?Thanks,F

Hi folks, Anyone ever use the API for either a 1-way or 2-way sync with Airtable, or similar database? At the minimum, I'd like to export a few pieces of metadata, such as people. When I manually exported a few images, the people, flags, and likes were lost, and not stored within the image as metadata. If the people doesn't carry over through manual export, do we know if we can get it to carry over via APIs? Going over the API docs of Lightroom, it wasn't clear. Thanks,

Hello. I recently updated my Lightroom Mobile (v8.4) to the Premium Option, mainly to have the ability to do batch edits. However, the two options I find online to select multiple pictures at one time (using the three dots or doing a long click) don't give me a Select option. If I click the three dots, I only see: Batch Import, Square Grid, Justified Grid, Segment by Capture Date and App Settings. If I long click, the only option I get is "Delete." I am hoping it's just user error and I'm overlooking something simple. Any ideas? I am using iOS and my phone is fully updated. Thanks!!

I have a Lightroom CC album that I have shared and made public. It works fine but there is an issue that I would like to address. All of the photos in this collection are in landscape orientation. When I open it on my iPhone in Safari vertically (portrait), I get the full image and the captions. However, when I turn the iPhone horizontally (landscape) to allow the images to be seen larger, the photos are cut off on the bottom and the captions do not appear. I cannot re-size them or move them to see the entire image. Is this a limitation to the "free" sharing application or is this a bug?Album created in LR 12.4. iPhone 7 iOS 15.7.7 Thanks,Paul

Hello, I have a question regarding the quality of pictures in published albums. I use only Lightroom CC and directly import RAW files with a resolution of 6016 x 4016. There are no JPGs or exports of these RAW files in the library. When I view the published albums online on my 4k monitor using the link, the album overview looks crisp and high resolution (please see attachment "lightroom share 1"). However when I then click on a picture and the entire picture fills my browser window, the resolution is cleary limited and the picture appears blurry (attachment "lightroom share 2"). The picture is clearly available in a higher resolution/quality in Lightroom CC (attachment "lightroom share 3"). What is my mistake? Wenn ich meine Bearbeiteten Bilder zurücksetze auf die original Datei, wird da bild nicht aus dem Ordner meine Bearbeitungen verschoben sondern bleibt dort sollte aber in den Ordner unbearbeitet.   Wer kann mir helfen 

My LrM Camera is having an issue.  I take a photo followed by several more from different angles however all subsequent images are identical to the first until I close the app and reopen.  The process is the same every time I use the app.   I am gutted as I took some family photos today and didn't realise there was an issue until I opened the editing section later to edit them by which time it was too late to take more.  I am using Samsung S10 with Android and LrM V8.4.2. Any help or advice would be appreciated and thanks in advance. 

Hi all, I imported a bunch of photos into lightroom a couple of days ago and everything was displayed as normal, nothing out of the ordinary. Today I began editing them and noticed that all of my images are extremely overexposed, which they were not when i imported them and are not when i view them from my hard drive. Has anyone come across this issue before?? Please help! On a side note, when i imported this album i 5 star rated the final ones and when i returned today, all the ratings were gone :'(  

I have many single images that I would like to piece together. In the past I have used Lightroom but for some reason this is not working for me anymore. Has something changed? If not I might be doing something worng but can not figure out what. Any help is great.

I'm using Lightroom 6.4 and when I'm importing photos, there are no thumbnails.I uninstalled Lightroom, deleted all %appdata% folders, and reinstalled it, and I still can't see anything.

How do I change a JPEG picture to M4

I have read a number of posts here about the sync in lightroom cc being very slow, but I don't think I've read a solution or an answer as to why this is happening.  my content is syncing much, much more slowly than the network resources would indicate in task manager.  Has anyone found a solution?

Lightroom mobile crashes when trying to use brush tool for masking.Does anyone have a problem with brush-masking tool?Is this known issue already?My LR version keeps crashing everytime I'd try to use it.I'm using LR ' s Android version 7.0.0 in Samsung Galaxy Tab7. 

Hi all,I have all my photos sorted into Folders on my PC with Subfolders - eg. Birthdays - 2004 Sam, 2005 Alex etc.. etc.. there are hundred of them for holidays and family and so on.In Lightroom CC - I cannot see where I can import this folder structure!  I can see how I can add folder by folder and create a new folder within LR CC but this is extremely time consuming.  Surely there is a way to import the folders in the structure that they exist in currently.. surely?There are a lot of old posts regarding this but I cant see if there was ever a solution.Anyone found a solution?Thanks

When I export raw files from LR mobile v 8.4.1 to an SD card, using my iPad the original date and time get lost. All files get the date of today and the time off the export. I saw this issue being discussed about LRC on a Mac, but my situation is different. Anyone has an answer for me?

Is there a way to filter photos by DNG after they are enhanced?

Hallo, ich möchte Lightroom CC auf meinem Mac Mini M1 8GB verwenden und habe mir dazu gestern die App aus dem Mac App Store installiert. Dann habe ich knapp 48.000 Bilder importieren lassen über Nacht. Heute möchte ich sie gerne verwalten und mit Stichworten versehen, aber das ist überhaupt nicht möglich. Die Eingabe der Stichworte dauert ewig, mal passiert gar nichts, mal wird mir ein rotierender Kreis angezeigt, ein anderes Mal werden mir mehrere Aufgaben, die noch in Arbeit sind, angezeigt. Ist das üblich bei Lightroom auf dem M1?Kann ich die Arbeit irgendwie beschleunigen?Und was passiert, wenn ich tatsächlich mal mit Bildbearbeitung anfange?

I downloaded raw files from my camera to my Android phone, edited with Lr and exported.Great that I can retrieve my work online from all my devices, but I'm used to keep locally all my edits in a  Lr Classic catalogue, so what if I wanted the same from an edit made on mobile and synched online with Lr?I can't find such a setting on Lr, is this feature available? I remember there was the chance to synch Lr Classic catalogue online to Lr ...what about the opposite? Lightroom 6.4 - MacLightrrom Classic 12.4 - MacLightroom v8.4.2 - Android 

Hi there,   I'm using lightroom 6.4 on a macbook 14 2023 IOS ventura 13.2.1   When exporting, it allows me to choose the export path then proceed, but then will not export (under 'activities in progress' the load bar stays at the absolute minimum)   It allowed me to export one photo (process happened immeadiately) after restarting lightoom, but now won't export anything. After restarting the computer, some of the exports had appeared in the destination path, even though the export hadn't completed in lightroom, but again, now won't export at all.   The external hard drive conatining the files is connected and mounted correctly   I don't understand why this is happening, can anyone shed any light?   Thhanks   [Mod: This is rthe Lightroom Classic forum and you're using Lightroom CC. Hi, i recently switch to the business version of Adobe suite that my workplace provided.  when i open Lightroom, it shut down immediately after loading  screen, gone without any appear reason and error. and it just happened for this app other CC work perfectly. i asked my admin and he said that it is not from our side.do you guys have any solution for this problem?

Hi,according to my workflow I import my iPhone Photos to LR mobile, sync it with LR Classic on my mac, delete them from LR classic (library only) and import the HughRes content to my NAS. This way I free my Cloud storage and backup the HighRes (non-Smart Preview) content on my NAS.Now some 2,3GB remain in my CloudStorage. Is there any way to find out which full resolution content is still in my cloud / not synchronized?Thanks for your support in advance!Best regards,André

Hello,I uploaded a portrait session to my lightroom CC and edited it. It was slow to sync to cloud so I left it all night. This morning it still isn't syncing. I checked lightroom.adobe.com and none of the images are there, nor are they on my lightroom mobile. When I click on the cloud icon in my desktop it thinks it is syncing, it offers me to pause the syncing. It does say "unsynced offline drive" but that is because my external hard drive is not connected, which I am not worried about, I am more concerned with the cloud. The cloud system normally works seemlessly for me and I can't figure out why all of a sudden it has stopped. It is worth mentioning I have updated Creative Cloud apps on my laptop and my phone and restarted both.ThanksKatherine 

Hi, I trying to free up space in my Adobe cloud by deleting files, which are backed up in the original (e.g. RAW or JPEG file). As I have synchronized parts of my Lightroom Classic collections, they show up as well in Lightroom as smart previews. The problem is, that I see no filtering option in the Lightroom app to see the photos that are backed up in RAW/JPEG or smart preview. I am aware that you can click on the cloud symbol if you are looking at a photo in the Lightroom app, however, I do not want to look at every single photo individually but rather have a filtering option. Any idea on how to solve this?
