Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

I purchase Lightroom for ipad a year ago. I would like to use on my macbook pro. Do I need to purchase a different version to beable to use on both devices? Every time I try to log into Lightroom on my macbook under restore purchase it says I need to purchase a subscription. My renewal is coming up soon and I am unsure if the Lightroom for ipad app is what I need. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

App versions: PS 24.2.0 – LR 6.2Mac OS Ventura 13.2.1Macbook Pro 14 M1 2021I imported photos to Lightroom. Then I did some edits and send the Phor with CMD + Shift + E to Photoshop. In PS i did some additional edits and now I wanted to send the photo back to Lightroom. I press CMD + S and the "Save as" dialoque appears with folder "TemporaryEdits" open, file format psd (screenshot)I can't go back to Lightroom and finish my editing. How can I solve this issue? 

I am using the lightroom trial on my android and can't find super resolution. Please advise. Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi Adobe Support, I already asked the question. Just again: will there be any chance that Adobe in the Browser does support the download of edited pictures in full size (the same like the mobile app for Android/Chrome OS supports). If not: could you pls share the reason why this is not possible. Maybe this gives a better understanding why this feature is not possible and I moight not ask again. Kind RegardsMichael

I'm subscribed to a basic Lightroom subscription with 100 GB of cloud storage on my iPad but when I try to use Lightroom on my Mac and restore purchases, nothing happens. Do Mac and iPad require different subscriptions?

Photos are imported into LR. LR directly uploaded photos to the cloud and deleted local files. This is a good thing to save space, but I have enough local space. I want to edit the photos I just imported, but I have to download them from the cloud, which is very slow and time-consuming.I want to ask if there is any way for iPad LR not to delete local files after backup or not to perform cloud backup?I hope the app can be synchronized to cloud storage, but still saved to local storage.

Good morning,lightroom no longer works after upgrading to version 6.2. At startup it asks for cleaning but then always hangs at 67%. Anyone know how to fix? Thank you.

I am using Adobe Lightroom Classic and I only want to delete the content that is in the cloud consuming space that counts towards my storage limit. I found the following instructions on the Adobe support site. "You delete all your photos in the cloud on LrWeb. You can log into lightroom.adobe.com, press your avatar on the top right corner and click on Account Info. There, under actions click on Delete Lightroom Library." Will this delete anything on my computer harddrive or will it only delete content that has been uploaded to the cloud? Also, when I sync an album from Lightroom Classic on my computer to the cloud, it only uploads smart previews that don't count against my storage limit (which is not what I want to remove). Is this going to delete all of that content too? If so, will I have any issues re-syncing those images again from Lightroom Classic?

Lightroom version 5.0 on Mac OS 12.0.1 on MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019). Problem: I open Lightroom and delete a photo by selecting it and hitting the backspace key. This works only for a random (short) amount of time. Instead of deleting the photo, Lightroom then just greys it out. Right click on the photo and the 'Delete Photo' is also greyed out. The photo is also present in the bin, but clicking the trash can has no effect. The only solution is to restart Lightroom, at which point the 'deleted' photos are no longer greyed out or in the bin. I am currently having to restart Lightroom every few minutes to be able to manage my catalogue which is not productive. 

Dear community I am working on MacOs (M1) with lightroom.After importing my images from the camera, I delete all those that aren't worth keeping (by deleting them in Lightroom). The "deleted" images are then greyed out in lightroom - but not moved to the deleted images folder. Even after hours of syncing (Internet connection working), nothing happens. Restarting Lightroom leads to all images undeleted and nothing greyed out. I lost hours of work because of this frustrating issue. Please help!best regardsFriedrich

I had LR CC for about a day and started to upload the photos. I went back to LR Classic. Is there a website location that I can go to so I can delete about 150 gig of pictures?

I am unsure if it's just Android, but I am really not enjoying the new tweaks.. The healing tool automatically selecting (terrible) spots and having to go back to the refine tool to adjust the spot makes the whole process of editing on the LR app unbearable. The healing tool isn't great so you'd have to do this multiple times to cover bigger imperfections. I am unsure why this update was made as it's literally a clone of the remove tool at this point I suggest reverting it, PLEASE-   While I'm here, I wonder why there isn't all edit features available for masks. It would be very helpful to at least add advanced RGB color adjustments. (i never post suggestions like this but it kills me at this point.)

Currently, I'm working on a computer with Windows 10 Education. I've downloaded, re-downloaded, and installed Lightroom (Not classic). The problem I'm running into is every time Lightroom is opened, an error comes up: Win32 API error 126 ("The specified module could not be found.") when calling ::LoadLibrary from getCFunction. Turns out this is from using Windows 10 Education, and I cannot seem to see what files are missing that are causing this isue.In addition, to try and resolve this issue, I've tried reinstalling and updating Microsoft Visual C++, with no success.

I have Lightroom on my windows laptop, and everything I've read online about speeding it up is meant for Lightroom classic not Lightroom. I've done everything I can. I have more space than necessary and more than all suggested minimum requirements but more and more lightroom is not functioning. It's just so damn slow. I thought that as Lightroom stores images in the cloud and not locally that it shouldn't slow it down, but does the cloud slow it down? And does anyone know is Lightroom Classic faster than Lightroom? i really need some good solutions here cause it's driving me insane.

Hello, yesterday I installed the new iOS 16.3.1 version on my ipad pro (3rd generation) and I encountered the following problem when I want to import photos from a memory card: I insert the card and click "add photos from device with camera". I get all the photos and scrolling down the preview is very slow.Normally I don't import all the photos but only the ones I choose and before this iOS version scrolling down was very fast and the photos were displayed immediately. Now they have to load and the preview is very slow, I scroll down and for a few seconds the previews are black.I have also updated Lightroom to version 8.2.1 but the problem persists. Has anyone experienced the same problem and knows how to solve it?Thanks for any help!

I can't create presets from DNG file  even with profile settings selected. Instead it only creates presets with all other settings selected. But when I copy the settings it works. Mind you, all other DNG files work with all settings including the profile is created. If you don't quite understand, I could clarify it for you as it may be a little complicated with my choice of words/structure of sentences.   {Edited the thread title by the moderator]
