Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

Hallo Zusammen, seit einigen Tagen habe ich keine Möglichkeit, auf die Aufnahmen meines Handys zuzugreifen um sie in LR hochzuladen. Ich verstehe einfach nicht woran es liegen kann. Das Fenster bleibt einfach schwarz. Habt Ihr Ideen? Viele GrüßeAstrd 

How do I automatically associate the folder name of the file on my external hard drive with the file as I am adding to LR? I have all my photos stored on an external hard drive.  I know, I'm old school.  They are stored in a folder structure with the first level named by events like "Florida Trip 2018".  The folders have meaning to me and I want to be able to search or navigate by them.  I have tried several different angles but I can't find any way to automatically carry over these designations with the photos when adding to LR.  If I could find a method to make "Florida Trip 2018" an album, tag, folder, keyword, metadata of any sort within the importing process, I would.  I realize I could manually add the album/tag/keyword to every group of photos as I import them, but that would take many hours and there would be no connection to my hard drive if I decided to move photos to a different "folder" After scouring the community forum for a solutio

I'm running Lightroom v8.2.1 on Android and some of my photos that were sent from my camera to my phone via Nikon Snapbridge are being misidentified as duplicates during the auto-import process, which hasn't happened before. My photos that I've taken directly with my phone or received/downloaded elsewhere is not affected.The app would tell me that the photos are duplicates if I try and select them all by day or folder but will import them without issue if I select them individually or in small batches in some instances manually. How do I fix this?

I just clicked the 1TB lightroom abo. I can't find the geotag map of the photos - what can I do ? Where can I find it ?Greetings Michael.

I have been having issues off and on for a long time now with syncing edits i make in lightroom mobile on my ipad pro back to my light room classic desktop catalog on my macbook pro. Everything is fully up to date:  MacOS: 13.2.1Lightroom Classic: 12.2Camera Raw: 15.2Ipad IOS: 16.3.1iPad Pro 11 inchLightroom cloud: 6.2Lighroom Mobile: 8.2.1 I have resolved some of the issues after going through the community posts for this and found at one point i had one photo in a different collection that was having a sync issue and held everything up. I unsynced that collection and still had it showing up as error, then I deleted the collection and it was still showing as an issue, finally I exported the photos as their own catalog and deleted them from lightroom afterwards and the rest of my photos synced properly. i have a total of 33,075 synced photos and they do show up on my devices however after editing about 500 photos yesterday on my ipad and I left llightroom classic open ov

Hi all, When I view an image fullscreen (press "F") in Lightroom CC 6.1, my Apple Pro Display XDR dims quite a lot after a second. Then when I press ESC to go back to my Lightroom CC, the image brightness jumps back to normal in the Lightroom app. Is it my Apple screen or is it a bug in Lightroom CC 6.1? Many thanks,Alex

I have a new CC account through my job and would like to transfer all my LR presets from my free version to my new one. Does anyone know of a simple way to do this without having to save all the DNG files and resave the presets in the new acct?

Hello, I recently downloaded Lightroom premium for my mobile and when editing pictures I am able to use the white balance dropper and colour curves but I cannot use them when editing videos. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks in advance!

I don't know when it started but syncing is stuck at the same spot. How do I correct this so photos are not lost? Thank you.

Hi, I've just purchased an iPad Pro and have both LR Mobile and Photoshop Mobile installed, and since I setup the pad with my phone, it included the iPhone version of LR Mobile. I have since downloaded the iPad version and it works well. The problem is that now I have two versions of LR on the pad and every time I try to send a file from Pshop to LR I get a message that I need to download the iPad version. I have tried deleting both versions and reinstalling the correct one. Each time I look in App Storage, I see two versions, and no indication which is which other than amount of storage used. Deleting either one deletes both and I have to start again with the same result, that I need to download the Ipad version. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Dear all,Whenever I import photos I first need to undo the sharpening on every image. I find the sharpening both doing a bad job of sharpening and it creates a pattern on my photo when combined with noise reduction. Also, the photos coming from my Sony a7IV with FE1.2/50mmGm are more than sharp enough.Is there some way to turn off the default sharpening of '40' and set it to '0'?Thanks 🙂

Hello,    Unfortunately, our IT department decided to migrate our adobe accounts to a new email without asking us causing me to lose all my Lightroom presets that I have created over the years. Is there anyway to get this back? I have my LightroomLibrary.lrlibrary cache file still, is there anyway to access this inside of Lightroom to copy and save the edits I've created to images?Thanks for anyones advice, as I'm panicking!     {Title edited by Moderator}   Sam

It will show the splash screen and then close. I have renamed the SLCache folders, signed in and out, uninstalled and reinstalled, updated my graphic drivers and have still found no solution.  Anything that would allow me to use this specific program would be appreciated. 

Quando começo a editar no Lightroom CC e uso a opção de "editar pelo Photoshop", depois que eu termino a edição pelo Photoshop a foto fica salva no Lightroom, mas a mesma foto fica com duas versões, ocorreu um bug onde uma foto agrupou junto com essas outras duas. Eu gostaria de saber como eu faço para desagupar. Desde já, agradeço. Obrigado.

My workflow is edit on my mac lightroom then add photos to Collections which are synced to my mobile. I can then download photos from Lightroom mobile to my mobile to share. Thats worked fine for 8months- but now has stopped: ive added photos to a collection on my laptop and they are there. That collection is not syncing to my phone. Sync is on. Any help please? Many thanks 

I'm wanting to clear out my LR CC since it's just full of all kinds of photos and I'd like to move to a different method for keeping my photos organized. I'd like to retreive all the originals from LR CC and put them locally on a hard drive. Is it possible to have LR CC spit out all of my original raw files with everything still intact? 

I need to group hundreds of photos to share with my design team. I want to organize them, so I am trying to use separate ablums. I want to create a method that allows anyone on the team to add more photos and have them automatically show up without having to share them individually. I tried creating seperate albums and adding them all to one folder, but you can't share a folder.You also cannot add albums to albums, so I cannot organize them that way. Isn't this program meant for organizing and sharing hundreds of photos with groups of people? Is there a way that I have not been able to find? Using the new Lr desktop version.

Is there no way to share a photo from Lightroom for MacOS directly using email or messaging? The mobile verions have a simple way to do this, or even to copy the photo to clipboard, but I can find no simple version of this function on the MacOS version, and it's just maddening, since it is something you would think any library should be able to do. I know I can export a file and then use my system to attach the file to an email or message, or open it in photoshop, copy the merged image for pasting somewhere, and then delete the file that I've exported. But is there really not a way to do this in the simple manner one can do this on a mobile device?

I currently have the Creative Cloud Photography plan with 1TB. I use LR C with local storage on an external drive and back up to Google Drive. I dont need PS anymore and would like to downgrade to just LR. I cannt downgrade to just LR C. If I choose the LR package can I still store locally. Thanks
