Hello, in the Thumbnail the Overlay for the File Informations are missing. In older Versions are displayed File-Names - Exifdata, Ratings, Flags ... I Apple iOS App for iPhone and iPad it's available. Why do you delete this Feature? This feature are for see the File Information in a list of may files and I can select the needed Files. For Example for Add to a Album or to export all files with 5 Ratings or Flags. Currently I only use the Filter. Dear Christian
I love the Lr app, but also find it lacks a very important detail for a feature. In the "Detail" panel, the "Masking" slider does not outline or highlight what is being masked. There is no way to see what the effective change is while moving the slider. Can this be added?
Hey Adobe Crew, I have a folder in Lightroom which I want to share. That folder holds a lot of albums which shall be shared with other people. I want to add and administrate albums and images so they would be automatically up to date for everybody. I mean, I have around 100 albums for different purposes and they have to be shared with many people. so why can Lightroom not share folders? this seems pretty awkward. so my question, how do you handle this scenario? thanks D
I use LR extensively for culling. The iPad form factor + Apple Pencil make it really great as a culling device for my workflow. Sometimes though the viewable area when in the normal view makes the image a bit too small on the 11" iPad. If it were possible to have just a subtle flag/rating indicator in the corner of a photo when in full screen, when in the rating mode, that would be SO helpful and enable me to stay in the full screen view during the culling session. Here's an example of what I'm talking about. First photo is the normal view in the rating mode as it is. Second photo is what I propose it looks like when in full screen mode.
With the new update having all of your media automatically uploaded I now don't have just Lightroom edited media on Lightroom. This is very inconvenient for me due to having over 20,000 photos and videos on my one device. If there was a way to filter the Lightroom edited media I think quality of life would improve dramatically. It would allow more organization. As well as adding the ability to create folders to organize my work. Thanks.
Separate control for uploads vs downloading to store locally critical when on limited internet internationally being able to disable uploading while storing locally enables sharing of images that local thumbnails doesnt please please please space out the 'pick' and 'delete' (X) buttons, for obvious reasons !!
It would be great if the mobile version of LR could leave the adjustment and settings files (XMP) and skins (ACR) in the same location as the original photo file in mobile file system, so it's easy to move post production work from Mobile to desktop and CameraRaw can read this settings easy.
Years ago when LR CC was still young in development I was surprised to see there's no option to import a gps track file (used to assign location data to photos). Now the app is much more mature and Adobe keeps adding useful (and not so useful) features, but this basic functionalty is still missing. Please allow us to import GPS tracks in order to assign location coordinates to the files.
Hello Adobe : i Really like Your Work And Want To Learn more And i Want To Suggest That You Make This Generative Fill And Other Ai Feature in Lightrook mobile So That We can Also You That in Mobile Cuz Some Time These Websites Wont Open On Our Mobile cuz We Are From Pakistan That Why if You Pull an Update For Lightroom It Willl be So nice Of You
I have got a wide archive collection of photographs with multiple sub-collections. I want to use Adobe apps like Behance and Express to publish these photos. When I try to access my Lightroom library in those apps all of my collections are without any kind of order and just all over the place. There needs to be a consistent display across the entire Creative Cloud. There is also no way I can view the rating (Stars * for example) of each photo. This feature is essential and needs to be implented.
Does this application have any features that assist with a person having closed eyes. I have similar photos of a person with open eyes, which I'd like to cut and paste onto a photo with the closed eyes.
With iPads Pro getting more and more powerful, usb-c connectivity and ipados Stage Manager getting better, it would be really great if Adobe Lightroom CC on iPads got a possibility to work on dual display (ipad & external monitor) to for example edit on ipad and have a full-screen view of the photo on external monitor.
Please, add to Lightroom App the possibility to work on photos that are on external disk. Like many other colleagues, I chose to invest in the iPad because, now that it has the same processor as the Mac and USB-C, it is the perfect solution for working on the move. Unfortunately, having only the ability to work on photos on the cloud or on the internal space of the iPad is really limiting. When traveling there is not always access to a good internet connection and saving photos on the Ipad considerably burdens the work flow between travel and the office. Being able to work on files that are on an external drive is the solution that many of us are still waiting for.DaVinci Resolve for example already allows this possibility for video editing. Thank you,
I can't precise cut the image make sun to middle at mobile LR, I hope have more references line like Centred Composition and Symmetry
Hi there, I'm not sure how many people would find this useful, but I'd like to be able to zoom into the image when using the Watermark editor. I don't use watermarks like most people seem to. In fact, they're not using it as a watermark at all, which makes sense as its really a Signature Placement Editor. I do use it as a Watermark Editor, in the sense that I add a very faint, almost invisible signature to my photos. I put a watermark in a different place in my photos for every image. Most people probably have the same placement for every photo. Bottom Left or Right being the most common. It generally never changes. There is the option to place it pretty much wherever you want, which is what I do.. but the editor lacks precise placement because I can't zoom in and only have sliders to use to position it. Being able to zoom in would really help, either by Pinch-to-Zoom or + & - buttons and being able to move it around. A few other helpful things wo
It would be great to be able to do regular HDR merge of Fuji HDR Raf files. Currently, the HDR Merge option is grayed out. The article https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/using/fujifilm-hdr-raf-support.html says such HDR RAF files have to be converted to DNG. First of all, I don't even see such option in Lightroom CC (non-Classic), I am using Lightroom 6.4. Second, according to article https://petapixel.com/2021/02/15/understanding-fujifilm-high-dynamic-range/ even after merge the DNG still does not contain those over and underexposed images.
Is there haptic feedback when using LightRoom mobile (iPhone / iPad)? I would love haptic feedback for when I use the sliders in photo editing.
When you create a mask in Lightroom on Android, then go to make an adjustment (like exposure), the app seems unresponsive for an extended amount of time with no indication as to when it's ready. The only way to know when it's ready is to occationally try to make an adjustment. When your adjustment is complete it seems there is another long period of time it's unresponsive. Very frustrating, especially when you bump an adjustment and have to wait for it to be ready again. An indicator that it is processing would be very helpful to know when it is ready. This is on a a Samsung S23 Ultra running Android V13 and Lightroom 8.4.1 so I would expect better performance, but if this is just how long it takes then a processing indicator would help a lot. Thanks!
Please add 3:1 or similar panoramic crops to the drop down. Or allow "custom" to enter actual crop values inserts of just freehanding the crop
When in "Rate and Review" mode, I want to be able to turn off the thumbnail bar at the bottom, and have the image resize to fill top to bottom. It wastes space when I'm not using the thumbnail bar, I tap the image to make it go away, yet the blank space stays at the bottom. Images should expand to be as large as possible on the screen.
Could you please enlarge the scroll bar on the right side of Lightroom mobile? It is very small and often very difficult to engage on an iPhone or iPad. It would be easier if the slider was larger or thicker. Thank you 🙏
The latest version of the Lightroom Mobile app on my iPhone prompted me to tell me I could now simply work with the Photos app on Lightroom Mobile. I no longer needed to allow it to automatically add photos to Lightroom, they could simply stay where they were and I could edit them on the mobile app. It did come with a warning though that this wouldn't be a good idea if I wanted to use Lightroom Classic. However that's exactly what I want to do. I suspect one can't simply add an option to the iPhone camera to say "just store this in Lightroom, don't worry about the Camera Roll".I wonder if it would be possible instead to have an option that says "if you see it in Camera Roll simply import it to Lightroom and then delete it from Camera Roll". Which effectively means that Lightroom Mobile sends all the images to the cloud and becomes my primary point of looking at images. Then it would allow me to continue with my PC setup where my main catalog is in Lightroom Classic
I've been told in a reply to one of my posts in the main thread that in order to upload from my iPhone I need to actually have Lightroom Mobile open - better still to have it connected to power and turn on the 'prevent from sleep' option enabled. I invested in 1TB of Lightroom cloud storage specifically to allow me to take lots of photos, in RAW format, on my iPhone, or to allow me to share lots of photos from my Lightroom Classic PC setup via Collections.I am a wedding photographer. Imagine I create a collection of a couple's wedding photos on my PC and share that to my phone. Why would I then want to open Lightroom Mobile on my phone and allow it to slowly synchronise those image previews to the phone? Surely I'd want to simply have the phone in my pocket doing nothing, or me to be scrolling Facebook/Instagram or whatever, whilst the whole thing happened in the background. My original plan was to download images from SD card on my pro camera via SD reader to my phone then let L
Synchronise the counts of images over all platforms in the cloud rapidly so that users really know how much is left to synchronise. I work using multiple devices. I can take photos on an iPhone (or import via SD card reader to my iPhone from my camera). I might want to look at them on iPad, or on Lightroom Mobile on Mac Mini, or using Lightroom Classic on my main PC.Let's say I take 200 images on the phone. It will tell me that say 32/200 are uploaded. But if I look on the iPad it will only know that 32 are in the cloud and it may tell me 7/32 are downloaded. Later I may look again and it tells me 28/42 are downloaded. By this point the iPhone may be telling me that 50/200 are uploaded. Yet if I go to the PC it may tell me that 6/50 are downloaded. It's a mess. If, at the point of saying "I've got 200 to upload to the cloud" that number got put into the cloud as a holding number all the devices could say how many of the 200 that the cloud knows will eventually be in the c
Hi, I've sent the link to a number of friends and relatives, but I have no idea if they've looked at it. I think they're reticent to register with Adobe and even if they did, I doubt they'd leave a note or even click "like." SO, I'd like to know if I wasted my time doing the gallery of a family gathering. Most web sites have visitor counters. Seems odd that LR gallery does not.
