Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

Am I the only one who is having issues using the horizontal offset while trying to add a watermark. The option will not let me use it.

I'm attempting to import a bunch of CR2 files into LR on a Macbook Pro, and I am experiencing the same problem many others before me have experienced with this issue. I have the latest version of LR, and I have followed the instructions in this guide...https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/photoshop-elements/kb/camera-raw-update-not-available.html ...however, once I've downloaded the latest CR version and I attempt to complete instruction 10 "Navigate to the following folder: Mac HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe/plug-ins/Elements<Version Number>/File Formats, where the version number stands for the Product Internal Version Number.Replace existing Camera Raw plugin in the Elements<Version number> folder with the plug-in you have copied..." ...when I navigate to Mac HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe/plug-ins there is no folder named Elements<Version Number> making me unable to complete the update procedur

I am making changes to an image in Lightroom using a mask. I am changing the background to B&W. However when I export it the changes are lost. See attached screengrabs. Thanks for your help

Seit kurzem kann ich Fotos nicht mehr aus Lightroom löschen: Sie sind ausgegraut, aber beim nächsten Start von Lightroom wieder da. Wie kriege ich sie wirklich gelöscht?  

I was excited to try the new Denoise feature in 6.3 but despite prompt some choices and seemingly churning on a shot, it produces no visible DNG in the library and doesn't alter the picture it is executed on in any way (even when it's exported).  Where should I expect Denoise to impact a shot? Or is this a known bug?  Below are screenshots showing the prompt, highlighting an area of low light noise; the "Genering Enhanced DNG..." task in progress, and the shot after the task is complete. No DNG is output on my machine, in the library (All Photos or Recent Edits) and there's clearly no noise reduction applied to the shot.   

Hello everyone. I am having issues with logging onto Lightroom for my desktop.  I have redownloaded on 2 computers to no avail.  When it open on one it says, "Lightroom could not connect to the server" When I open on the other it says, "Lightroom failed to initialize due to an internal error, login server error "connection_error': Error with registration PUT: Failed to connect to photos.adove.io port 443: timed out. I am at a loss, what can i do to fix this? Thank you! Max

  This evening I shared a handful of photos to the web. These were shared as a group of photos, not a shared album. It defaulted to the date as the name of the group. I later decided to give this photo group a name and made the edit.  The name change is reflected on the apps and web (if I am viewing from the main Lightroom Web view), but never seemed to propagate to the link.    If I view the photos through the link it retains the original name, which is the date. I have tried several things to get the change to propagate, but it doesn't seem to want to. I have added and removed photos and changed the name several times. Photos add and remove fine, its just the name that is stuck.   This is the group of photos in question: https://adobe.ly/3Nt3JWr  

I have a Canon R6 and I wanted to start shooting in RAW again. I just did a shoot (thankfully I did it in RAW + Jpeg just in case). I can see the files in LR Creative Cloud, but the editing capabilities look the same as the jpegs. I do not get any of the features of editing in RAW. I can not seem to find much on if .CR3 files are supported in LR Cloud. Am I doing something wrong, or are they not supported? I'm shooting a Canon R6, and editing on a Mac desktop, with Lightroom Creative Cloud v.6.3.

Tonight I was playing with the web interface for Lightroom. I noticed a handful of albums listed under the shared section. Labeled invite only, so no real harm. I thought this was odd, because I had not recalled ever using the shared album feature, especially not on these particular albums.  I checked the iOS and Mac app and none of these albums were showing under shared albums. As a test I shared another album. It showed up in the shared album section (by iteself in the apps, along with the other albums on the web). Then unshared it, and it cleared away like expected from the apps and web.  I then tested one of the albums that was showing as shared on the web, but not in the apps. I shared it, then unshared it, in order to see if it would clear up the issue. The album added to the shared album section on the apps like expected, and then cleared away when I unshared it. It remained in the shared album section on the web.

Editing

I upgraded from 100MB to 1TB of storage. On create cloud desktop, my full storage is showing, but in lightroom, the old 100MB limit is still active, and lightroom won't uploaded any more photos

I just upgraded my creative cloud storage space, and I can see the increas in the Creative Cloud, but when I go to Lightroom, it does not show the increased storage space.  Please help!

All, the right panel on lightroom desktop not classic is too narrow for the panel and I am unable to adjust the width.  On the left side at the bottom when I hover my cursor over the bottom vertical panel edge line I get an prompt to adjust the width.  This prompt does not appear on the right side.  Any ideas on how I can reset light room or get the prompt to appear?

Hello,   since updateing to LR mobile 8.3.1 on Android the 2-finger tipp for changing info isn't working anymore. e.g. Histogram is completly missing. I asked about that problem in a german LR group and found several people mentioning the same problem. 

I am creating a gallery in Lightroom and to present the albums wihtin it in alphabetic order. Is that possible? Regards

I am having a lot of trouble importing images to Lightroom CC I have a 64 GB iPad but I pay for the 1 Terabyte of storage on Lightroom. No matter how much room I still have on Lightroom, it will not let me import the images if I'm out of space on my iPad. This is very frustrating since I pay for the cloud service so that I don't have to have the space on my iPad. Is there any way to get around this?

Hi there, Sorry if this is a common question but I couldn't find my answer elsewhere. I have the Lightroom Desktop subscription (only purchased a couple of weeks ago, so I assume it is the latest version) and Lightroom mobile (iOS). On my desktop app, I have a folder called 2023 and then sub-folders within this. All of the photos within these folders are synching with Lightroom Mobile, but only if I click on 'All Photos'. It displays the names of all my folders (in fact, to be more precise it lists them under a heading called 'Albums' even though they are folders), but it says all of them are 'empty'. So the only way I can view the photos is by going to the 'all photos' tab, which isn't ideal.  The files are mostly raw but with some jpeg. I'm not using any VPNs or anything and my internet is good.  All I can think is that it doesn't like the fact my photos are in folders rather than albums. Is this the root cause? My filing system on desktop is to store photos

Hi Community,Lightroom CC 6.3.1 on MacOS Ventura 13.3.1 (22E261)I set up the syncing of all Originals to an external HDD. Lightroom "thinks" that it has synced everything (showing "synced and backed up" under the syncing icon) – however when looking at the folder on the HDD a lot of originals are missing (sometimes an entire year of photos). When I go into lightroom and select one of the missing photos, to check the info panel, it will say "synced and backed up" for a second or so – but then start "downloading" and only then it gets actually synced onto my HDD.This means that I'd have to click each photo individually (it only works apparently when the individual photo is loading preview data, not with bulk select) to make sure everything is backed up. With 40k photos not a practical option. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

HI everyone, i have a problem with deleting grid in adobe portfolio, its simply has no option to delete it.Normal photo have delete option, by clicking on blue pen at the right top corner.HELP!!!

Hi all. I've been using the same logo (a .png) for my pictures to which I've exported hundreds with no problem on my phone. Just today, when trying to export my photos with a logo, they would not appear on the right and left sides of my picture, where I usually put them. I did however find that they will show up on the middle column, regardless of the row of the 3x3 grid. I've tried using an alternate logo, the same file type and everything, just inverse with no luck. Opacity is 100%, I'm just not sure what went wrong. The pictures attached show the bottom right option being chosen and no logo, then the middle option being chosen with a logo.     

I imported photos to my lightroom and then deleted them off my XQD card. Now the images haven't synced and I can't locate them. Please tell me they aren't gone? Thanks!
