Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

I have been using Lightroom primarily on my PC running Windows 10 for about a year. I have the plan that allows for 1TB of storage, of which 182GB are used. My laptop has about 750GB of free space available as well. Seemingly since last week, lightroom has gotten almost unusable. I shoot in raw, which has not been a problem until now. When looking at photos, if I make any changes at all, I cannot do anything to any other photos until the sync has finished. That sync takes about 2 minutes per image. I cannot make ANY changes to other photos, any exports freeze, and everything is completely on hold until the sync finishes. I have restarted the program and my computer multiple times. Any time I make some edits and hit export to small jpg, as soon as I click off it will take 2-3 minutes to sync each image before it even begins the export. During that time lightroom is completely useless. Once the sync is done, it takes about a minute before there is any response. I can slide settings all o

Hi,   Im having issues with my lightroom since i downloaded it through my schools liscencing, I can't add photos as the option is greyed out compliately and i can't switch my application to be online instead of offline.   Does anyone have any solutions i have already tried reinstalling and resetting prefrences.

Hi people,Because I work with privacy sensitive clients sometimes, I'd still like to have a portfolio without putting peoples pictures up to the cloud.So I'd love to know wether it is possible to sync Lightroom CC mobile (perhaps other Adobe app) via USBwith my mac so i can bypass putting my pictures in the cloud.I'm really looking for the answer to this question for a long time. HiI'm not able to synchronize original photos to Lightroom, I know the location of the original and then try add this photo but it does not let me. Here you can see that only smart preview is in the cloud.Next I try to import the original photo, but lightroom does not allow me to add the original. This is very strange to me.... Anyone can help? 

Since one of the updates, don't know which one, it istn't possible to fit the pictures to the window. Always 100% or any other greater then 100%. Fit to window is marked but also 100%. Any help here? M1/16GB/12.5.1

Back in 2019 and 2020 I imported some videos on lightroom mobile, yesterday I tried to export them/save them to my device but it said that video sharing is not supported. Is there any way that I can save these videos to my device because I don't have them saved anywhere else.Thanks in advance!

I'm looking for courses in Lr CC for an iPad Pro 12.9" 5th generation. The courses should start with the basics and then lead to more advanced editing. I learn best using video in short segments. What I've found is largely for phones and the layout for the iPad is different enough to confuse me. Thank you.I'm using Lr CC 7.5.1 and iPadOS 15.6.1

I'm editing a photo on my iPad Pro 2022 12.9 5th generation. I'm using iPadOS 15.61 and LrCC ver. 7.5.1 I'm using the healing/clone tool. I select an area to be cloned and Lr selects an area suitable for replacing the orignial. I then click on Done in the blue oval. It does not complete the clone but returns to the original photo prior to using the Healing/Cloning tool. What am I doing wrong. Also, I don't know how to remove a selected healed/clone area. I've searched for a good tutorial on using LrCC for an iPad. Most are focused on using the iPhone. Suggests on tutorial would be greatly appreciated.

On the mobile version of Lightroom we can not fill in the IPTC fields?

Hi there!I already have photos that I've started editing in LR but I want to continue edting them as a "smart preview." How do I change it so that my photos are smart previews?I also have other photos imported already that I want to make/edit as smart previews, as well as edit all photos going forward that I upload as smart previews. However all of the tutorials on YouTube on how to do this are for LRC and not the the LR version that I have. For example I have no "library" option tab at the top. I've looked everywhere and can't find the "smart preview" option. I want to switch to smart previews so that the edited process is faster, smoother etc.Thanks for any help!

Hello, since the update (when the language was changed to Polish), the program works tragically, he thinks for a long time, the photos jump with a long delay, there are lags, e.g. on the sliders, loading the photo takes a few seconds. Before, it was all smooth. I'm seriously considering ditching the Adobe suite, when editing wedding photos where I have 2500 photos it's awful. I am already testing the competition in the form of Capture One. I am asking for advice. The computer all the time the same Mac M1 16gb RAM

Hello everyone, Lightroom used to start with a 640x480pixel window on my Windows 10 Full HD system randomly. It is not possible to resize the window or go to fullscreen. Right after the last update, the problem shows up everytime I start LR. Closing the window with Alt+F4 and re-starting Lightroom always helps and I have my fullscreen window back. 😛Any ideas how to fix this would be greatly appreciated!

Hello Everyone,   When I import a picture, the first presets are automatically assigned. That's why I can't see the original picture. What should I do to prevent this?  PS: I try creating empty presets but couldn't successful.   Thank you.     {Thread title updated by moderator}

Having run out of the 20GB space included in my Photography plan, yesterday I decided to purchase the 1TB space on Creative Cloud.The updated storage space is properly showed in CC app and on the web too.Unfortunately, Lightroom app still shows a cloud storage of 20 GB and since I have 21.1 GB of photos saved, it is not syncing the latest photos.I installed Photoshop 23.5.0 and signed in to my account; storage is 1 TB and sync is ok (even if I have not synced anything, since I don't need Ps).Also Lightroom on the web shows the same issue: storage is 20 GB and so I don't see the latest photos at all.I have done sign out/if from Lr app and web several times but this didn't help.It seems that only Lr cannot see the 1 TB storage. MacBook Pro 14-inch 2021, M1 Pro.macOS Monterey 12.4 Thanks in advance for any suggestion and help.

I have two versions of Lightroom on my desktop plus the app on iPhone.  For some reason I am not able to sync to my phone and I pay for both desktop and app. {Title edited by Moderator}

I'm having a hard time trying to figure out how to delete multiple presets at once. I'm referring to the custom/user presets that I have made myself. I am using LR not LRC and I can right click individually to delete a preset. However I have hundreds of presets and it would take me way too long to individually delete them all.Thanks in advance for any help,Ryan

What is the export original + settings? I see that when it saves, there is an .XMP file with each photo? Thanks for your help! 

Hey all, I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that the tablet UI for samsung tablets is not working on the new August update. It's showing up as a mobile UI only. Not sure if this is a bug or if this was actually intended. Please fix 😞

Hi guys,My lightroom is saying I have "No Internet Connection" even though my phone in connected to the internet and working fine. I have just bought a new Iphone and have changed all of my information over from my previous iphone and everything is working apart from my lightroom app..not sure if the new phone is the problem but it seems very strange. If i go onto the web version of lightroom it works fine. I have tried uninstalling the app and restarting my phone but no luck. I am now at a total loss on what to do... If someone could help me out that would be much appretiated. Thanks

When I import photos from any folder, I get the "Import files at their current location" progress bar. But it hangs forever with no progress.I've been unable to use lightroom for months. using Lightroom 5.7 on 2019 iMac with macOS 12.5.1

Is it possible to download an album localy with its name and all photos in that paticular album?Everytime I click on the "Store album localy" button it stores them on my drive however not with the album name that I gave it in Lightroom but with the date it was taken.  Its an issue because certin albums are work in progress. So when I "Store album localy" it will pick all my photos from 2014 and store them in a folder marked 2014 even though the Lightroom album that im trying to store from has a mix batch of photos ranging form diffrent years.  Is there a solution to this?
