Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

I am having trouble importing files in to a new album. The RAW files I am trying to import have not been imported before. They all have a different create date from the ones already in the library. Their file name is also unique. But when I import them, I am getting an error saying Duplicate files. How do I go about this. This is with Lightroom CC.

Is it possible to download RAF files. I have RAF and JPEG in lightroom but when i export the RAF it says its not possible? Is the actual RAF file stored online or does this sound like its missing? it does allow me to export all files as JPEGS though? 

I have read 4 articles about this topic but none of them addressed my issue. I stopped the synchronization of LR Classic and deleted thousands of photos from Lightroom Cloud. No matter how many images I delete, it still shows I am using 5.1GB of my 20GB. Currently I have re-synchronized 138 of the images, still no change. The value for used storage increases the more I upload, but it never seems to decrease. Help please!  Lightroom Classic on MacOS

Hello,I made a mistake in my email when registering and now I can't change it and therefore I haven't received it the confirmation email for my free trial subscription.How I can delete that account and subscription? 

Ich hatte früher während meiner Schulzeit einen Adobe-Account und habe nun einen von der Firma. Jetzt würde ich gerne meine Lightroom-Fotobibliothek von damals in meinem neuen Account nutzen. Wie kann ich die Inhalte umziehen? Gibt es die Option eines Exports oder muss das der Support für mich erledigen? Und wie erreicht man den Support?  Alles, was ich finde, ist diese Community hier. Only 2 months from renewing my suscription to Adobe, I am regretting it. I spent my whole morning trying to figure out why Lightroom won't recognize some files when I'm trying to import them. It doesn't even show them in the preview from the SD card, so I had to copy them to my hard drive and then add them to my catalog (without the DNG conversion). There is nothing wrong with my card and other software (Capture One) didn't have any issues in importing all my files in one go.The only reason I still tru to use lightroom is because i have my presets developed in it but Im just tired of all the troubleshooting.Anyone else is having this problem?

I had to re-download Lightroom to my iPhone. When I use my Apple ID to sign in it is saying to sign in with the Adobe account I said no I just wanna use my Apple ID (that's how I have my  subscription ) and when I sign on using that my subscription is not showing on the Lightroom account can someone please help? Kind of frustrating I have a year subscription and can't speak to anybody on the phone

Hi, my cloud storage is nearing its limit (17 GB out of 20 GB) and I only have like 24k images synced to Lightroom - I think 17gb of size from 24k Smart Previews is not common. I definitely know that there are some original copies synced to Lightroom and I would like to see whether this is something that can be filtered out from LR CC so I can delete it from the cloud. Hi.    I`m having some trouble installing Lightroom CC on Mac. I´m installing it from the CC-app.    When i press install it sais waiting... and then goes from 1% to 99% in one second.  In CC it looks like the app has been installed but pressing to open the app nothing happens.  There is no app dowloaded to my drive either.    I´ve tried logging out and in of my account - and have done the "repair" of my CC-app, and tried installing Lightroom CC multiple times, but the issue persists.   All other apps in my CC install and work as they should.    I`m on Lightroom 5.5.    Any suggestions?   

What a [profanity removed by moderator] abusive method to get money from a company like Adobe. I used the free trial, and now in order to cancel it I have to pay first? Like [profanity removed by moderator], how is this a free trial. How can I cancel this, I don't wanna have to do with this Adobe company never again, delete my account, I don't care, I don't wanna waste a sigle penny on you.

Why LR on my iPhone is 100 GB while images in my iPhone camera roll are just 50 GB ? Should I remove the app and install it again ? Is there any risk to lose images in my camera roll ? Thank you , Valeria      {Title edited by Moderator}

Hello, I'm finally switching from the old school way of external hard drives and Lightroom Classic, and am trying to migrate to this cloud-based Lightroom with all my photos on the Cloud. I am using a MacBook Pro. I added a small folder of photos from my external hard drive to Lightroom and they're all in the app and taking up 15GB of my Creative Cloud storage - however I can't see them when I click on "Synced Files" in my Creative Cloud account online. In fact, I can't see anything at all online except for the files I drag-and-dropped into the Creative Cloud Sync folder on my drive. I want them easily accessible and organized here so that I can quickly download everything in the event of a hard drive failure. I'm okay with just using this drag and drop method if I must, but the issue is that when I then add those to Lightroom, it seems to upload them to the cloud all over again. So I'm getting 2 copies of everything uploaded into the cloud, 1 copy for my Synced Files in the Cloud and

I'm a daily news photographer who's new to the role and would love to advise. I use Lightroom and regularly edit and file photos via my phone. I love that the photos I import from my camera via Bluetooth and backed up via cloud - as if I need to find a photo quickly it's there. However, I also want to store my personal projects in my Lightroom album but I don't want these on the cloud as it will just be too large. Is there a way to split my Lightroom storage so that on my phone it's via cloud and on my Mac laptop it's via external HD? 

I have beenn using Lightroom Classic with Lightrrom in the cloud for some time.  I have some photos that were originally loaded on my desktop and are synced into the cloud and some photos that were originally loaded on my ipad which synced through the cloud down to Lightroom Classic. Now one of the drives on my desktop has died.  So I would like to associate the full sized images in Lightroom Cloud with a new disk location on my desktop in Lightroom Classic.  Ideally I would like to use Lightroom Cloud versions of those images as my backup restore of those images to the new disk.  Failing that, I am getting the old Lightroom Classic versions of those images restored anyway but would like the cloud versions to still sync with the new location.  At a minimum, I do not want the fact that the cloud versions were originally assocaited with a different location to cause duplicates on my desktop or worse yet to somehow negatively affect the new location (cause de

I deleted my account because of a compromised email account. I registered a new account but am unable to re-register Lightroom. "That serial number is already in use." How to fix?

Since the most recent update this week Lightroom CC is extremely slow and crashes frequently on both my 2018 iPad and my iPhone 6s. Both devices have latest IOS updates. Anyone else having issues? Lightroom is currently unusable for me.

Another prime example of your terrible customer service features.   People want to communicate with a human being; not search through a library of congress sized collection of group conversations from the last 20 years. Nobody has time for that, and it's infuriating that every time someone wants to send information to you or ask a question about your software and it's 10 thousand glitches, you direct them there, instead of a human representative.   One would think that the fact you're forcing people to always buy your newest software (subscription based) would give you enough money to hire some customer service reps, but nope! Just a worthless community forum.   You guys make my blood boil every time I have to deal with you. Hello.At the beginning, I contacted technical support, went through the process of cleaning Adobe packages and reinstalling.The following problem, two months ago I uploaded 200 photos to Lightroom. ORF format. Recently, I noticed yesterday that half of the photos during editing are of poorer quality. And that I can not download the original in the original uploaded quality, only reduced, for example in the attachment. The photo originally loaded two months ago, ORF file 13.3MBthen exported JPG 9.29MB, today the downloaded original file size is tragically small 383KB ORFand the JPG exported from it in Lightroom is correctly 9.29MB, but with lower quality... Why can't I download the real original? And why the quality of the original of this photo is of such poor quality and has degraded? Of course, I add photos now, everything is ok,I keep RAW files in the second cloud + external disk, but I am concerned about why this is happening. Regards, Paweł Piwowar 

I downloaded the free trial of lightroom so i can try it out. For some reason I can't add any pictures. None of the features are working

everytime i open lightroom this pops up and it has a different background, and different name beside the St  down at the bottom. i have never seen this before and when i google it nothing comes up. is this a pop up? or legit.. i'm worried for my photos lol. seems like a random sketchup updates after 2 years of using it never seeing this               {Title edited by Moderator}

Previously edited photos in lightroom are not showing up if I click into the detail view of the photo on my laptop using windows 10.  It's only happening to some folders and not others.  The edits still seem visable on the filmstrip thumbnail or in grid view but when I click on the image to edit further or view in detail the edits disappear.  I open up the developer menu and it shows no edits were done to the photo.  Though if I filter the folder to only show photos I've edited, it will only show the edited photos but again when I click the detail view the edits don't show up on the image or in he developer menu. I have restarted my computer, made sure CC is up to date.  I have restarted CC. I turned off the GPU like some have suggested but still didn't fix the issue.
