Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

Hi Folks, I have an interesting problem:   I have marked my photographs that I publish in any Social Media Forum with a Red Label.  Today I learned that you can CHANGE the Label NAME form Red to anything you want.  So I changed RED to "Published on Social Media."   Unfortunately, now if I try and search on Labels by pushung the RED "button" it does not find any of my pictures.  When I changed it back to Red it sorted on it just fine.  If I change the NAME of the label, do I have to re-mark my pictures all over again?   Thanks.   Eddie

I have read through many posts describing the same problem, but can't find a solution. EXAMPLE: I have a fully edited album, i archive it locally (external HD), everything archives smoothly, then when i go to external HD and access the album, there are zero edits, all pics are original as shot. I am synced and backed-up. Help.

My account says I have an active 1TB plan, but Lightroom tells me I can't use the Develop module because I don't have a subscription and tries to sell me a 1TB plan. I want to contact customer support about this, but I appear to have a choice between reading canned answers, crowd-sourcing my question to fellow users here who have no ability to help me, or clicking the "real help from real people" link which SENDS ME STRAIGHT AN AI BOT. Is there any way for me to get in touch with actual customer support, or has Adobe given up on that entirely?

I have a problem. Lightroom (not Classic) runs incredibly slow on my MBP with M4 and 16GB ram. How slow? Opening a Detail view (until I can edit, move sliders, etc..) can take 30 seconds. After opening a folder, I can't change star rating for 20 - 30s. Copying Edit Settings can take around 30 seconds (1 photo). AI edits like Denoise take between 1 and 2 minutes per photo. Exporting 10 photos take 10 minutes. No even mentioning minor hiccups like lags when moving sliders etc. All in all, it's unuseable. ------ Few more details: - All photos are stored locally on the system SSD. - More than 150 GB free on the SSD - All photos are 61MP uncompressed RAW, with ~80 photos per folder. - More edited photos in the folder result in even slower operation. - LR cache allowed to use max. size - The app is updated. - MacOS is updated. - GPU setting in LR: Auto (but same issue when on / off)________System info: Lightroom version: 9.0 arm64 [ 20

After using LR for years, today when I wanted to work with some photos, Lightroom did not start as it should and every time showed message about connection error. At the same time, my Photoshop was working without any issue.My filmstrip is empty, can't import new photos (no import button, shortcut isn't working), reinstalling the app did not help.I want to keep my photos locally without being forced to copy them to cloud (which, in this case, doesn't work either) 

i export pictures from my phone to the lightroom cloud so i can edit them from my PC. usually +-20 pictures at 2.5mb. recently only some of the pictures upload to the cloud. i would then have to login to lightroom web and delete the sync issues. and try upload again. repeat this process untill they all reflect.    this issue started when i used an alternate camera app that saved pictures in raw, and a large size. i did not continue using the app. but the probelm remained.    pictures are saved in jpeg and and average 2.5mb; using the standard samsung app as before.  i use a samsung S25. 

Is it possible to apply an adaptive preset to a group of photos? I'd love to apply 'Enhance Portrait' to a whole album, but can't find a way to do it.

Dá última atualização para agora o Lightroom deixou de reconhecer os arquivos RAW da Canon (CR3). Antes era possível usá-los importando eles direto da galeria do tablet, hoje em dia nem isso é possível. Estou com o app em sua versão mais recente (10.5.4).Estou usando a seguinte versão do sistema operacional no tablet:Informações da atualização. Versão do One Ul: 7.0. Versão do Android: 15. Testing the new color label support in Lightroom Desktop (v9)  syncing with LRC. Changes to color labels are correctly sync'd from Lightrooom desktop(V9) to the sync'd images in LRC(v15). Also the reverse works - change a label in the sync'd image in LRC and its reflected in the cloud clients. Smart previews only seem to work one way. If I change the color label in an image file in LRC that is sync'd via smart previews to the cloud - it is correctly reflected in Lightroom Desktop(V9), However the reverse is not true. If I change a color label in a syn'd smart preview in Lightroom Desktop(v9) it is not updated in LRC. This seems a bit odd as star rating for example are. Also it seems odd to work one way. I would understand if ti didnt sync at all.

The masking pane often doesn't refresh when switching between photos while open, and is much slower to update.  This is extremely frustrating, considering all my settings are blown away if I revert to the previous version.

I've noticed since the last update (that came with assisted culling etc.) The cropping page seems to stop functioning correctly. You can change aspect ratios and the orientation of the ratio, but rotating the image 90º no longer functions at all. I have tried quitting and hard resetting with no luck. This is a huge pain and a hindrance to my workflow, and I hope there is a fix soon.

When exporting an image for printing in Lightroom Web, I used to click on the Download icon and it gave me the option to customise my image (size, DPI etc) before exporting. This has now disappeared and I only have JPG size download options. This means I can't edit an image for printing. I have explained this on calls 3 times to customer support, but they only say leave it with us and we call you back. They never do.  Any suggestions?  

    Hi , I have paid for a premium account on lightroom, and I already haven't had access, while my membership ends on 24-01-2024.   So you need to fix this and give me an extra month because this fraud. If its not fixed by tomorrow I will evolve a judge!   kind regards, Mees Buurman

Any ideas please!?I import RAW files onto my Apple devices via the Fuji app. It clearly says RAW in the photo at the top left of the photo on the MAC photos app. However when I go to add photo's in Lightroom (version 9.0) I often get a jpeg as the imported file after I've clicked the review for import file. Annoyingly I now have to go via photos and choose edit in lightroom but that only gives me a TIFF not the RAW file I really want?. I'm on a MAC Air, M3.

It's very weird. I use lightroom CC on my mac and it works flawlessly. However, Lightroom for mobile is crippled. It is *missing* adobe neutral preset and that is the one I stabdard use for importing files. On macOS it is no problem but importing on my iPhone gives an error: missing profile! Please make the profiles the same on MacOS and mobile. There is *no* reason to cripple teh mobile app. Dirk Bosman

I am using the AI remove tool for 1 blemish on a photo. I update it (re generate) right before saving and I am still sometimes unable to save the photo with the AI edit - I am getting a weird square around the area I am trying to fix. I have been using this for months and never had this issue - Im not doing anything differently, it seems like it must be a bug.

Guten Tag, gerne würde ich Lightroom CC freigegebene Alben zusammen mit meiner Homepage nutzen. Dafür würde ich allerdings in den Lightroom Alben in der Cloud Links zurück auf meine Homepage und einen Shop einfügen. Ist dies möglich? (In den Einstellungen für die Freigabe habe ich eine solche Möglichkeit leider nicht gefunden.)Vorab vielen Dank für hilfreiches Feedback.GrüßeRené

When working with images in HDR mode in Lightroom, the export dialogue allows for the selection of color gamut. For example, sRGB or Rec 2020. However, what is the gamma curve embedded in HDR exports? PQ? HLG? Do the luminance limiter settings also get embedded into the image (e.g. limited at 800 nits or 3 stops over SDR)? And lastly, does this vary based on exported format? Such as JPEG vs JPEG XL?

Hi there, I've been getting this error message when trying to open LR CC. I've been trying to fix it updating Disk Permissons and now trying to do it manually.
