Hi Adobe Support Team, I am reporting a critical issue regarding abnormally high memory usage in the cloud-based Lightroom, which appears to be a memory leak. 1. Summary of the Bug After a standard editing session with high-resolution RAW files, Lightroom's memory consumption climbs to an extremely high level (over 26 GB in my case, as confirmed by Lightroom's own diagnostics). This memory is not released even when the application is idle or minimized. The only way to reclaim the memory is to restart the application completely. 2. System & Software Environment Lightroom Version: 8.4 x64 [ 20250603-0500-10f89fb ]Operating System: Windows 11 Pro (Build 2009)CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9700X 8-Core ProcessorGPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti (Driver 32.0.15.7688, 15.5 GB VRAM)Total System RAM: 64 GBCamera Model: Sony α7CR (61MP)File Type: Uncompressed RAW (.ARW) 3. Steps to Reproduce 1. Import a batch of RAW files from the Sony α7CR.2. Perform edits on several photos, specifically using AI-powered
Where is the video stored after running convert to video?
LR 9.4 - Used the create video feature. LR added an extra person. How do I stop LR from adding the unknown person?
SummaryLightroom is unable to activate HDR editing on my external HDR10 monitor. When HDR is disabled in macOS, Lightroom correctly displays the yellow warning icon indicating that HDR is unavailable. After enabling HDR in macOS, the yellow warning disappears, indicating that Lightroom detects HDR support. However, the HDR status indicator remains red and Lightroom reports that "the operating system or display has HDR disabled." As a result, HDR editing cannot be enabled on the external display.HDR editing works correctly on the built-in MacBook Pro XDR display.Steps to reproduce Connect an LG 27US550-W HDR10 monitor to the MacBook Pro. Enable HDR for the external display in macOS Display Settings. Launch Lightroom. Open a supported HDR image. Attempt to enable HDR editing. Expected resultLightroom should recognize the external display as HDR-capable and enable HDR editing, just as it does on the built-in MacBook Pro display.Actual resultThe HDR indicator remains red and Lightro
Depuis que j’ai installé la mise à jour, la notation marche une fois sur deux et le logiciel marche au ralentit
Same, Windows 11 here. Lr keeps crashing over almost everything now, subject detection. I wanna throw this shit out my window LMAO.
Using Lightroom v9.3.2 on a Windows 11 LaptopI’ve just moved to a new laptop and installed Lightroom from the Adobe Creative Cloud. I am now getting the error “There was a problem with checking how much disk space you have free” when I try and export a file. I have plenty of disk space, so not sure what the issue is. I’ve tried the solutions in the forum but none work. One solution is to delete the Users>Pictures>Lightroom Library.lrlibrary file, but I don’t have that on my computer. When I’m exporting a file, I get the option to select a directory, and in that dialog I can create new directories so Lightroom has permissions to create directories, and, I assume, also files. But still the message appears. I’m at my wits end - I can’t export anything, so the program is next to useless. Does anyone have any ideas here?
After yesterday update I can`t work with app anymore. Constantly freezing, after applying mask it comes with random values, even changing them wont affect the image, values changing by itself. Errors while exporting.
When using lightroom, scrolling up and down using a trackpad has severe input lag which causes the scrolling inputs to be deleyed by 1s or so. This makes scrolling is very unpredictable, meaning quickly navigating controls on the edit page, scrolling through the library and navigating the thumnail strip becomes extremely tedious and slow. The issue seems to be related to scroll inertia when using the track pad and while I am unable to test it with a mouse, dragging the scroll bar is very responsive. I am using an M1 Pro MacBook Pro (32GB Ram) and lightroom runs quickly despite this issue so I know it is not performance related. This also appears to be a relatively new issue as I have not had problems with this in the past on this device.
I am considering purchasing a used 2017 iMac, using an i5 INTEL processor. It has 32GB of RAM and 2TB hard-drive. Will I be able to run the latest version of Lightroom, and how likely is it that I will be too out-of-date in a year or so, given that I am not using the newer Apple processors?
Long-pressed images are not deleting since I updated Lightroom Mobile app on Android. Deleted images aren't even been transferred to the 'Deleted' album where they are normally queued for 30 days (where I usually manually delete, often to free up some device storage). I see the usual pop-up windows during the image selection and delete process, but as mentioned before deleted images remain in the album and nothing is transferred to the designated ‘Delete’ (queue) album. NOTE: I’m a Lightroom Mobile Premium subscriber and i’ve never encountered this problem before prior to the latest update. Sidenotes: *Carried out an app uninstall/reinstall (and log in) to correct the bug. This didn't work, in addition to losing 300+ projects , and a ton of work (with live masks etc) because I run the app through the local device storage option. The lot wasn't synced. *I don't sync my phone storage to Lightroom, or when I import. My imported projects are storage intensive ie. alot of digital art file
I want to have the same access on my MacBook ? To LR app
I would like to export jpg in 300 dpi and it's impossible (only 240 when the original image was in 300 dpi)... i don't understand why it is not possible with Lightroom ! I paid to use it, it should be normal to have this basic option.
On the iOS platforms we have add to and move to album, but I can’t find move to album on my MacBook. What am I missing? Or is it not there? If not why would it be on the phone but not the desktop?
Im not able to use GPU processing with my mac, how do I use that. It says the graphics processor has uncovered an unrecoverable error with my M4 Mac chip. Ive tried just about every way to reset/ restart lightroom. I restarted and updated both my computer and lightroom and I unistalled and reinstalled lightroom and nothing has fixed the issue. This issue is causing my lightroom to be slower when using presets and things like that which has caused my workflow to be way to slow.
Subject: Lightroom Desktop (v. 9.3.1 from the mac app store running on a Mac Studio with M2 chip) Stuck Syncing for Days – Cloud Storage Never UpdatesHello,I'm having an issue with Lightroom Desktop on my Mac that I have been unable to resolve. For several days, Lightroom has been stuck in a syncing state. The application appears to be running normally, but the Cloud Storage panel continuously shows: Cloud Storage: Calculating... Syncing Items spinning indefinitely The software never completes the sync process, even after being left running overnight and for multiple days.Things I've already tried: Leaving Lightroom open for extended periods Confirming my internet connection is stable Restarting Lightroom Restarting the computer The attached screenshot shows the current state of the application.Could you please advise: How can I determine what item(s) Lightroom is attempting to sync? Is there a way to view a sync error log? Are there known issues that cause Cloud Storage to
For the two days now I have been trying to import some images into Lr Mobile on my iPad Pro. The images are stuck pending. I’ve rebooted the app. Did a hard reboot to the iPad Pro. Paused the sync and resumed the sync. It usually takes less than a few seconds to import a few images (5 or 6) and it’s taking forever because it’s stuck in pending. I’m using Wi-Fi with a strong signal and everything. I don’t know what else to try. I have plenty of free storage space on my iPad Pro so that is not it either.Within Lr Mobile, I’m using 63% of 100gb of Cloud Storage. I have 36.92gb of free storage. Use cellular for sync is not available (only tried this to see if there was an issue with my hotspot), I always sync over WiFi. thanks!
When I’m editing on Lightroom mobile and I want to adjust a slider of any sort and I click and swipe (on the bar, not the dot in the middle) my finger towards the direction I want the slider to move, unlike before when you could touch any part of the bar and slide the slider to any number you want that would appear on top, when you try and do that now the number will jump 5 or 10 decimal points higher than where you want the number to stop. This results in inaccurate values that then steals time away from flow to correct or just accept the number it has glitched to. Sometimes after trying multiple times it still will jump ahead and I will just have to settle at whatever number I can get it to closest. This is frustrating and throws off the efficiency of my workflow and it didn’t used to have any issues. Anyone getting this on Lightroom mobile for the last month or so?
I need to login to the Adobe account so that my Ipad Lightroom can get to the cloud. When I select “Continue with email “ on the screen that one picks authorization/account providers like Apple/Google/Facebook it pops up a ?HTML? window that is titled “auth.services.adobe.com”. In this window it says “Sign in” in bold followed by a tiny “Email address” and a box. The problem is, I can’t get into the box type type my email in. If I tap it, nothing happens. If I long press, iOS thinks I want to copy part of the header text “Sign in”. I do not know what gesture to make at the box so that I get a keyboard that allowed me to type in my email.I have tried lots of GUI tricks to try to get at the email box like doing find in the page or translating it but there really are not a lot of options. I think the Safari widget or whoever they are using for the auth login flow had an API change and now nobody can login if their hardware is like mine. I am using iOS 26.5 on a iPad 10th generation. This
Hi there, My lightroom app was being slow, so I closed and reopened it. Upon doing so, I received a pop-up saying "this unlicensed app is not genuine and will be disabled soon" after 5 days. Needless to say, I have a subscription. Part of me isn't sure if this is somehow some cybersecurity threat by a bad actor, but if this is genuinely an adobe pop-up, it is absolutely unacceptable and incredibly poor customer service. Firstly, I am a genuine customer. The fact Adobe doesn't seem to know this is more than a little concerning. Secondly, the pop-up doesn't have an X to close it, and hasn't been accompanied by an email to confirm the pop-up is genuine. Thirdly, it means I cannot continue to work. I am not going to close the pop-up and will cease working until this is fixed. I would be most grateful for assistance. In providing assistance, I would be grateful for some fairly detailed advice. If I need to delete the app or some folders or something, please let me know how I
Lr Mobile on Android does correctly show photos from Lr library in grid. When I open it, it does only show like this: I see this on 2 phones while a third, old one does show it correctly.Any ideas?
Hi ,I am using Lightroom mobile app for few years now and after editing photos I always exported them to be download on my samsung device and they showed up in Lightroom album. At the moment I do all the same but even the app says that photos were exported , they not show in any album in my picture gallery. How to fix it?App has permission on.
With the new Sony A7RVI, when I go to export raw photos with any mask, it provides the attached error message even though there are no AI edits to update as you can see by the no yellow icon. Seems to be triggered anytime you apply a mask to a file. Have tried multiple file updating AI edits for all files and that does not work either. Have had others with Lightroom desktop try the same workflow and are receiving the same error, so there seems to be some raw file compatibility issue.
Vor genau zwei Tagen also vorgestern Abend konnte ich pkötzlich keine Fotos mehr laden.
