smart view resolution too low
Something I rely on heavily with my desktop workflow is the ability to copy paste curves amongst each other (Main channel, Red, Green, Blue). We're not able to do this on the mobile version and it's quite unfortunate. Also the ability to see the histogram behind each curve (like on desktop) is also missing. PLEASE add these things. Curves need more love on mobile!
Picture this: I have 3,000 pics to edit, all i need to do (mostly) is paste my custom preset, minor tweaks every few pics. The auto level isnt working as well as you want it to. im clicking left or right to next picture on keyboard, I'm Ctrl V pasting edits with keyboard, I'm pressing C for crop (to rotate) on the keyboard, I would LOVE to be able to then rotate the photo with the arrow keys or any keys on the keyboard. once I press C for crop, let me hit left or right on the keyboard to rotate the photo, each click is 1 degree rotation. I dont like that I need to grab the mouse to rotate when im stremalining edits on keyboard quickly. You can even use the bracket keys like how its used to resize. The rotate would only work then the photo is highlighted for crop so it would not effect anything negatively Thanks! P.S. Hallo Adobe Team, Bitte machen sie es möglich, die Bedienpanels auf die linke Seite zu verschieben. Es gibt sicher einige Surface Benutzer, wie mich, die Linkshänder sind und den Computer mit einem Stift bedienen. Für "uns" ist die Bedienung mit dem Stift dann kaum möglich... Viele Grüße
Hello, I use synced photos that I import on my laptop, and sometimes I edit them on the iPad. Everything works great, but there is one very important option missing the ability to create a copy of a file, just like I can on the computer. As it is now, when I edit an entire gallery of 1000+ photos, I have to go back again and search for those same photos.
Although lightroom (cloud based) is a great program, it has one massive flaw. You can't manually save your work! Please add in the basic File -> Save option to save your work. I spent a ton of time working on edits only to have it crash. Turns out, when lightroom crashes, none of your work is saved. There is also no backups folder or way to retrieve something that the cloud had saved. I understand its supposed to save to the cloud but in almost every situation ive had where the program crashes (which happens alot), it does not save. Please add in the basic option to save your work. Please fix this!

got dumped out of Lightroom again, classic failure, lost all of my settings on a complicated edit, super frustrating. Program was open for about an hour after my edits. should have been plenty of time for the program to save the edits I had performed. Version 8.4Can you make it a more stable program that saves edits before crashing? Doesn't seem like it, I think I need to start using my Capture 1 software more.Can you please improve the stability of the program and the recovery so that it includes all of the editing before the crash!
When I sync (reset) my Portfolio to match my Lightroom gallery, it updates with my photos but not their edits. Help?These edits were made and saved the day before, so it doesn't appear to be a lag/delay issue. I've been using LR mobile on my phone flawlessly for months, even exporting hundreds of photos at once for a certain job. Yesterday during a wedding I was editing and exporting single photos normally with no issues. Suddenly "1 photo failed to export". Retry option gives an instant same error. This is happening on my phone, Xiaomi Note 9 Pro, wich hasn't exported a single photo since then. Tested on a tablet minutes ago and apparently no issues. On my phone I've already tried the following:- cleaning the app cache- cleaning the phone general cache- restarting the phone- cleaning all app data, forcing a new login- reinstalling the app completely - reimporting a photo I'm trying to export - shamefully tried to export at a lower output size as shown on some poor YouTube videos suggest Nothing worked. I’m using the web-based version of Lightroom on a Mac (the LR application, not through a browser). I noticed in watcing online tutorials the Compare icons on the left-hand panel and the Show Original icon in the upper panel (see attached image). I don’t see those in my version — how can I enable or add them to my panels?
I recently migrated all of my Lightroom data over to a student version provided by my University. When I try to use this new account on Lightroom Mobile I was given the error code "An error occurred while authenticating. The SSL certificate authority is not trusted." Im not sure what could cause this besides maybe restrictions on the schools end?If anybody knows a solution to this issue please let me know. I am using a Lightroom on a PC. I am trying to crop an image to a certain dimension but I am struggling to find where I can type in these numbers. When I select "Custom" crop, it does not allow me to enter numbers. I know this is a feature that Mac users have. Can this be done on a PC? If so, how?
All, I have a paid account with adobe lightroom and I am trying to download adobe lightroom on my laptop. Jetzt habe ich festegestellt, dass meine fertigen Bilder nicht die Megapixel anzeigen, die meine Kamera hat. Meine Kamera hat 20.9 Megapixel und ich habe gerade beim durchschauen gesehen, dass Bilder mit 14 oder 10 Megapixel gespeichert sind. Wie kann das sein? Viele Grüße an alle und vielen Dank im Voraus.
I can see how keyword hierarchy as implemented in Classic would be significantly more complicated for end users. Overall I mostly agree with this philosophy. However, managing my current keyword list is getting rather unwieldy as it mixes multiple key purposes. For example, in the same list I have all the people I have tagged. I also have keywords answering basic questions like: Event/Holiday (Christmas, Thanksgiving, birthdays, Independence day...) or Why (e.g. family reunion, vacation...), tied to specific activity (dinner cruise, helicopter ride, botanical gardens...) Therefore, it would be awesome if keywords had additional attributes or facets. e.g. filter the keyword list for all keywords associated with events.
Hi everyone, I like to edit my pictures in lightroom mobile (android) but I prefer the ai denoise on my laptop. I want to move my pictures with denoise to my phone, but the denoise isn't synced to the cloud and when and when I export as DNG the denoise setting isn't moved with it. I didn't have this problem when lightroom still created a enhanced dng. Does anyone have a solution for this for this. Please note that I use both lightroom and photoshop mobile. Because photoshop mobile doesn't support DNG I can't do it afterwards sadly.
Are you planning to make this available on the "mobile version"
I used it and pay monthly. Now I canceled my subscription. Cant log in to my photos anymore and it is insane, that a manual tag of faces is not alowed in cloud version! Thank you adobe, but you are making a product that make a big big stain on your company name! [abuse removed by moderator]
I would like to have the smart album ans search criteria enhanced. I have currently run into an issue where Adobe is trying to be too smart and it has back fired on me. I assign a title to all images; the title includes the year the photo was taken. I cannot depend on capture date due to the fact many older photos do not have capture date (I started switching to digital in 2001); and I will have a project soon to scan and load old analog photos; in which case the capture will truly be useless. Therefore, with smart albums or even the general filter; when I search for "2003" I get photos with a title including 2003, photos with 2003 in the file name, photos with 2003 somewhere in the meta-data.... Basically the text search is way to inclusive. Due to the limited screen real estate, I would like an advanced feature such that I can add a criteria like "title:like:2003". The idea is to have the field, operator and value separated and delimited. As more operators

So quickly didn't find answer. How to make exported HDR images from Lightroom mobile work in instagram on OnePlus 12? Edited, ticked as HDR P3 and 2020, in Instagram image selector can see the HDR image as HDR (JPG), avif shows muted colors. But when trying to post (is that the filter selector), HDR has been gone. When still posting without editing and filtering on Instagram, only SDR image shows up. So how to HDR image 6/2024 with Lightroom, OnePlus 12 and Instagram (or desktop version Classic and exporting from there). Thanks. And please bring the HDR preview support to OnePlus 12.
