Hue and saturation adjustment layer contains a hand tool which picks the colours which we would like to adjust the hue and saturation of. When we select a colour in the photo using the hand tool only the drop down changes to the appropriate colour while the slider colour remains cyan. If the slider colour also changes to the colour closest to the colour that the user picks , when the user selects a different colour it would match with the slider colour and the user won’t need to scroll through all the colours in the slider.

Please add the ability to use a custom brush instead of the built-in smudge tool in the iPad version of Photoshop, since this is currently only possible in the desktop version. My entire drawing process literally depends on this tool, and it would be incredible if it were available on the iPad. Photoshop is by far the best drawing app I’ve ever used, and I wouldn’t want to give it up just because of the lack of customization options on the iPad.  Currently, only one basic version of the "smudge tool" is available for the iPad. In the desktop version, you can add your own smudge tool, customize it yourself, or choose a downloaded one. In my opinion, this would greatly increase the popularity of Photoshop on the iPad among artists, because the basic smudge tool is very awkward to use for "sculpting" a drawing (

It’d be so helpful to have a sound notification when AI finishes generating fills. Since it usually takes a minute or so, people often switch over to something else while they wait, and then forget they have work to do! A quick sound cue would save time and make the workflow smoother. Alternatives (mas user) could be a pop up badge, a shaking PS icon in the dock.  Thank you!J

Whaaaaaat.I'm finding it incredibly hard to believe that every graphics program supports using the brush and pen through touch screens EXCEPT for Photoshop, the Queen of them all. Am I really going to have to draw in GIMP?I'm well aware that touch screens aren't nearly as ideal as graphic tablets but really, GIMP even supports pressure sensitivity and Photoshop doesn't support anything? Please, please incorporate this feature, it should have come standard years ago.

Bonjour. Merci.

There’s no way to have true duel color stroke effect when painting. At the moment the only thing we have is color jitters when painting. Thus making every part of the stroke being a different color. It would make life so much easier and faster if we had the ability to have a duel tone brush stroke like this: https://x.com/jferdaous1/status/2066567525446701497?s=20Or at least photoshop gives us the ability make our own script plugins for brushes and tools. I often find myself swapping to other programs for what should be now standard or basic features.Honestly the whole brush settings panel needs an overhaul and push of new features.

When using Generative Fill on transparent backgrounds, the AI constantly generates useless background pixels (like grey artifacts/floors) instead of transparency. When we try to select these unwanted pixels and hit the "DELETE" key, Photoshop completely blocks us with a dynamic layer error message. We shouldn't have to manually right-click and "Rasterize Layer" every single time we just want to clear an area. Adobe needs to either allow direct deletion on these layers (by auto-rasterizing behind the scenes) or give us an option to bypass this restriction. It's totally destroying the workflow for cutting, compositing, and character design.

I would like an option in Photoshop Preferences to disable the automatic creation of layer masks on Adjustment Layers and filter masks on Smart Filters. While masks are an important part of non-destructive editing, many professional workflows use adjustment layers purely for global image corrections. In my own work, I only need a mask on a small percentage of adjustment layers. The remaining masks are unused and create unnecessary visual clutter in the Layers panel.Currently, every adjustment layer and Smart Filter creates a mask by default, even when it is not needed. This results in larger layer stacks, reduced readability, and extra clicks when removing masks manually.I would like to see a preference such as:Create masks on Adjustment Layers by default: On / Off Create masks on Smart Filters by default: On / OffThe default behavior could remain unchanged for existing users, while advanced users could opt into a cleaner workflow. This would improve layer management, reduce interface cl

I don’t know why this isn’t a feature for PS already, but please give us the ability to mirror smudging and liquidifying. Procreate has it so it’s clearly possible, and it’s so easy to and intuitive. I will literally leave the PS app just to go use them in procreate. I use symmetry a LOT in my work… So please… I beg

Create a second additional cursor for Windows that is controlled by your AI. The program could use it to teach me, for example, Photoshop.

This will effect a few aspects so I will just go over one example. Canvas size, we are presented with Width, unit, Height, unit… These can be tabbed through but it’s not instinctive, you enter width then have to tab twice to get to height, it should be enter width then tab to height, never have I ever had to change a width unit to be different to a height unit, I wouldn’t ever need width as pixels and height as millimetres… can you just separate the units to be above the size. Work flow is then Canvas size > enter width > tab once > enter height. A small tweak but if this is implemented across New Document and Export, it will save a lot of clicks. Cheers!

When I open a RAW file in Camera Raw, I proceed directly to develop the photograph. In my workflow I immediately create a duplicate of the layer to work on, thereby preserving the original. It would be useful if the preferences offered an option — a checkbox — to automatically create that duplicate of the original when exiting Camera Raw.

Disable the bizarro pulsating blue ring around the ‘lightbulb’ icon in Photoshop 2026. In addition to being distracting (and annoying), this ring also keeps pulsating above some other apps when leaving Photoshop.More info here:https://community.adobe.com/topic/show?tid=1178717&fid=712

Adobe, a request for you please.  A request born from two decades of working with applications, application developers, and application error messages: Please, for the love of God, when you present an error to a user, make sure that error is accurately descriptive.  For the exorbitant rates we pay to use this software, the least you can do is not pepper it with error messages that waste our time in addition to our money.   To wit: this afternoon I spent over an hour fighting the sudden appearance of an error message when trying to open .webp files (which were working fine yesterday, then suddenly not fine today).  Various iterations of this message included:   First, out of the blue: "Could not load the user measurement scale presets file becasue Photoshop does not recognize this type of file".  Then after resetting my measurement scales to the defaults: "Could not import the clipboard file becasue Photoshop does not recognize this type of file"

I edit real estate photos and replace ugly grey New Zealand skies all the time. I have a library of about 500 skies that I’ve uploaded to Adobe. When I hit F7 the default is always the top sky in my box. I scroll down till I find a suitable one (e.g. sky 365). But when it’s not looking good and I want to choose another sky, I don’t want to scroll from the top sky again, rather carry on from sky 365. This is wasting a lot of time. Simply changing the colour around the last sky selected from blue to something bright, like red, will go a long way.

Ability to purchase an (additional) ‘block’ of AI Credits without having to upgrade your plan.Normally I find my current plan gives me enough AI credits for my needs. However very occasionally I have a project that requires a few more than my normal monthy ‘allowance’ under my plan.It would be really useful to be able to buy a block of additional credits that could be added as required.

The Canvas Size has been degraded in several unnecessary ways.Everything is miniature and hard to read on a 4K monitor.  Kind of like the Bridge is now.  This no longer matches the style of the Image Resize pop-up.  Was this intentional? Percent was moved to the bottom of the list, though I believe most of us use that quite often when we realize that we’ve undersized our document, or want to create some margin.Look at the mismatch between the two windows in the attachment.  Is Photoshop 27.6 an unfinished version?  Shouldn’t the Resize Image pop-up have been degraded in the same way as the Canvas Size?Interestingly, these two extremely important user entry windows have been declining in readability over time.  The fields used to be recessed and large, with a high contrast background and bold text that was very easy to see. Perhaps it didn’t look  “attractive” that way, but these are two very important user entry panels.  Why not provide big bold fonts so that our chance of making an er

I recently started to wrok with video grading and get to know False Color it is very valuable tool to set proper exposure when taking video but also to set exposure at color grading stage. This video explain it breefly.   However there's no such tool in Lighroom & ACR.Highlight and Shadows Clipping warning built in the ACR is serving entirely different purpose, i think it simply tells you if data you import from ACR to Photoshop is goingt o be clipped, but it does not aid in setting exposure.Allow me to demonstrate.Highlight Clipping warning is turned ON and histogram shows clipping, yet no red overlay is showing in ACR. If i was to export JPG rom ACR it would also have sky overexposed. So highlights clipping warning in ACR is not intended for aiding exposure.  This is a False Color plugin from time-in-pixels set up to capture main monitor input and show False Color on another monitor, it clearly shows the highlights are clipped. Now i use adjust sky ex

Tried using ACR autonomous image straighting feature. The image I thought was an easy task for AI. The subject is the Parthenon complex in Centennial Park, in Nashville TN. Once the process was finished and I was back in PS the image did not look straight. Using the Guides in PS I discovered the top A frame where the mythical creatures are housed the platform from Left to Right was off by a substantial amount. Correction; Since this is a well known structure perhaps have an image db where ACR can connect and use as a refrence point to insure edges are at least at a 90 degrees flat. Yes, image was corrected using Adaptive Wide Angle FilterJust a thought.

Hi, can you make the new action buttons safer? I've been accidentally missed the edit dots a few times and triggering play instead. PS 27.7.0.

I’ve been animating using Photoshop timeline. While currently the feature is quite limited, it’s very solid on what it does. One feature I think will make significant impact on animating on photoshop is to make more function to be keyframe-able. For example, puppet wrap. Currently smart object can save the location of puppet wrap location, making it possible to edit it post applying it. Now imagine if those saved location of puppet wrap can be keyframed. It open up a huge possibility of movement with minimal effort. Rather than needing to split the frame for every single key pose. In between would also be a breeze with this feature! I also have a same idea for other tool such liquify, but to be honest, I’m not so sure myself how would keyframing a liquify transform would be. I think lately PS has been pushing it’s edge on image generation and editing aspect more, which is understandable, but its such a shame, because PS is also ironically one of the most comfortable to use painting and

I would like to request improvements to the Type Tool in current versions of Photoshop.Photoshop is widely used for manga lettering and other text-heavy workflows. In my experience, versions released after Photoshop 2019 have noticeably reduced Type Tool performance while editing text, despite relatively few new Type Tool features being introduced. It would be greatly appreciated if Adobe could restore the responsiveness and overall performance level of the Type Tool found in Photoshop 2019.Additionally, I would like to request the return of the Photoshop 2019 proportional resize behavior while actively editing text (point text or paragraph text with the text box open and the cursor active). In Photoshop 2019, using Ctrl + Alt allowed quick proportional resizing during text editing, which was extremely efficient for production workflows. While the current Transform functionality is useful, it does not provide a smooth experience, particularly when fonts use the Smooth anti-aliasing opti

Photoshop currently lacks the ability to natively open multi-layer EXR files, typically only loading the combined "RGBA" layer and an Alpha channel. While Windows users have access to third-party plugins like Exr-IO, macOS users have no viable equivalent. Currently, my workflow requires me to open renders in Affinity Photo just to export them as PSDs for Photoshop. This constant switching is a massive productivity drain. While I prefer Photoshop’s toolset, Affinity’s native handling of multi-channel EXRs makes a strong case for moving my entire pipeline there.Request: Please implement native, multi-channel OpenEXR support that preserves layer names upon import.

Feature Request: Display Resulting Font Size During Free Transform of Text LayersWhen scaling a text layer using Free Transform (Ctrl/Cmd + T), Photoshop currently displays the scaling percentage but does not clearly indicate the resulting font size after the transformation.I would like Photoshop to display the live calculated font size while scaling text. For example:- Original font size: 48 pt- Scale: 150%- Resulting font size: 72 ptPossible implementations:- Show the resulting font size next to the scale percentage in the Transform controls.- Display a tooltip during scaling (e.g., "48 pt → 72 pt").- Add an optional preference to show live font-size calculations while transforming text layers.Benefits:- Faster and more precise typography workflows.- Easier adherence to brand guidelines and design systems.- Eliminates the need for manual calculations when visually resizing text.- Helps designers maintain consistency across documents, artboards, thumbnails, presentations, and marketin

Generative upscale is great idea! adding unwanted background? Bad idea. Please remove the auto background functionThe amount of work it takes to remove on detailed graphics is painful.
