I truly appreciate the recent addition of the "Remove" option in the Contextual Task Bar. However, I would like to suggest a small but meaningful improvement to enhance user control and experience. Currently, the Remove Option in Contextual Bar works via Generative AI (cloud-based), and the Contextual Task Bar reflects only this mode. It would be much more efficient and user-friendly if the Contextual Task Bar adapts based on the user's chosen mode of the Remove Tool. Suggestion:If the user has Generative AI turned ON, then the cloud-based Remove option should appear in the Contextual Task Bar. If the user has Generative AI turned OFF, then the on-device Remove option should be available in the same Contextual Task Bar instead of removing the feature altogether. This will provide a seamless workflow and give users better control, especially when they prefer offline or on-device operations.
Creative Cloud installs (at least six (6) helper apps/applets. In macOS Tahoe, these create some confusion as many of them don’t open. Please recode them to fall under Spotlight’s Other section
PLEASE ADOBE, get serious. We need this one so much and fast.My case (and I guess, many others):I'm doing some clean up in a ACES shot (32b EXR Seq), using After Effects (Last version) with Content-Aware Fill. When I create a Reference Frame (EXR, not PSD) it opens in Photoshop (Last version), and the problem starts:1) It looks all blown up in the highlights. When is going to be ACES Management automatic?2) After looking on several places, find a way to apply some color look up to appear similar to the AE preview in my DELL monitors. Ok, great! (?) Well, Not yet...3) When is Adobe going to LET US USE ALL THE TOOLS, including Generative AI in 32b?4) Ok, downgrading to 16b, simple isnt it? NO. The image changes and the aplied luts no longer looks the same. So...5) How to match color and levels in 16b to see the image THE SAME WAY I see it in AE? Work on it, and the save it in 32b again as it were before, and be able to see that EXR frame to update in AE to FINALLY be able to run "Generat
Is it possible to modify the “default” parameter when we change the Image mode to “Bitmap” . It's now by default to “Diffusion Dither” but it must be “50% Threshold”. The mode “Diffusion Dither” cause many trouble, because the picture became with multiple dots (pixels) instead of a uniform area. This cause major problems in the printing industry and designer don’t notice this issue.
We often time use Photoshop to include paragraph texts in Photoshop files, so I request to add an abridged version of shape building capability like the one available in Illustrator. Presently we (at least I !) use Pen tool in Photoshop create some placeholders for putting shaped text in .psd files, which is a bit clumsy and many times not accurate, so a shape building capability will be a good addition.BTW, can the frame creating functionality be used for defining path? If so, please let me know.
Right now, Apple Magic Trackpad has no settings to control Photoshop zoom in/out speed. Other third party devices like Wacom Intuous Pen have Photoshop-dedicated control options. Without such controls, trying to zoom in/out in Photoshop is chaotic, extreme, and unhelpful when using the Apple Magic Trackpad as the main input device. Please consider adding dedicated UI for Photoshop zoom in/out via Apple Magic Trackpad. Thank you.
Before I could select all pictures and use noise reduction on all pictures together which I selected, but now it doesn't work and I need to add it one by one but that takes so long. I don't have time for that. Please I want to use noise reduction on all selected pictures again. Who can help me? Thanks in advance! P.s. when you have a solution in Dutch, I prefer that :-)
Include a rectangular gradient tool and/or a polygonal selection tool in RAW for reducing the brightness of a window in a room. This would reduce my need for opening as layers.
Pull Liquify out of the external window entirely... it would be much more useful integrated into the native UI. Add a liquify button to the Tools toolbar and ditch it from the Filter menu. Having access to my typical brush-resizing shortcuts would be a lifesaver! It just makes more sense... All of the buttons and tools in the Liquify panel could easily fit in the "Options" toolbar that runs across the top of the software. If any excess buttons wouldn't fit in the top Options toolbar, a Liquify panel could be created if necessary. This is my #1 idea for the next version of Photoshop. There is no reason for Liquify to open a new window... none at all. Not anymore at least, if there ever was one.
Using apple’s trackpad in Photoshop is great; 2-finger gestures work exactly as expected:• pinch to zoom is smooth, infinitely variable, and intuitive • 2 finger swiping pans the image across the screen naturally, and with no friction, and in any x,y direction But these same gestures in Bridge are clumsy to the point of being almost useless:• 2 finger swipes up and down somehow zoom the image in, and in drastic, huge jumps. I’ve often gone from 100 to 800% in one stuttery motion• 2 finger swipes left and right are somehow exactly the same as up and down• pinch-to-zoom is currently possible, but it’s stuck in these same uselessly-quantized jumps. I want arbitrary zoom! Please rewrite the full screen preview behavior, so that I can use standard Apple Trackpad inputs just as I can do in Photoshop - and just as they work in Apple’s own programs. Thank you
So... one of the best Photoshop tools I've used for decades for color correction has been replaced overnight by a duplicate of "Color Balance." I can't simply no longer correct individual colors as I did intuitively before. Why has a tool that worked perfectly been destroyed? The change has been so disastrous and counterintuitive that I can only think it's a silly programming error!
Hi!Layer Comps has a control over Layer/Smart Object:1. Visibility2. Position3. Appearance4. Selections for Smart Objects Current state of a control we have over Layer CompsSuggestion for Toggle Layer Comps SizeBut something that is super missing and I myself and my team needs all the time is a control overSIZE - Toggle Layer Comp SizeSo please, let us choose if the Layer Comp will save a size of a Layer or Smart Object. This will always be something that will save time and file size. Also, a lot less clicks. We are working with 15 states with over 1500 layers minimum every day. Also, are constantly working with previews for Desktop, Mobile Portrait, Mobile Landscape, Ipad format and all these categories has 15+ screens resolutions. It is much more easier if there is an option to save a size of a layer for a preview for lot of these sizes. We were trying a lot alternatives for 15 years. and nothing can do this functions instead. So please add Toggle Layer Comp Size as an option for Laye
When the Face-Aware Liquify was added to the Liquify filter a long time ago, there was no option to reset individual value, and it could only be entered manually as 0.In both lightroom and the adjustment layer in photoshop, you can reset the by double-clicking slider ControllerPlease add this feature to the Liquify filter.
I request to add feature of spell check while typing in photoshop, illustrator, indesign etc. This may make the apps a little more bulkier, but this will free the users from consulting other dictionary programmes. So, it will be worth it!
When creating a mask in Camera Raw on a smart object, the mask doesn’t scale when transforming the size of the smart object. So this causes me to have to delete all the masks, recreate them and then applying all the Camera Raw edits. So when I select a face, eyes, hair and mouth, make it greyscale, it’s blatantly obvious that the mask doesn’t resize.
The remove feature appears to work well with the real world scenarios of landscapes etc , but there must be a lot of photographers working in small cramped studios that occasionally get lights or other studio equipment in there shots or subjects that have arms etc outside of the recognised backdrop. It would be nice if studio accessories could be identified.
深色模式(最暗)和浅色模式(最亮)随着Windows系统自动切换。2026年了,基本视觉功能还没有实现吗The dark mode (darkest) and light mode (brightest) switch automatically with the Windows system. It's 2026 already, but the basic visual function still hasn't been achieved?
When using Object Selection Tool - Select people, would be nice to have possibility to select Entire head alongside Entire person. When you editing portraits, it is really unpractical to select all heads by all their single parts.
The current "Recent Files" implementation in Photoshop and Illustrator follows a rigid "all-or-nothing" logic. Professional users need the ability to curate this list to maintain a focused, clean, and secure workspace. This isn't just about privacy; it's about removing "workflow noise"—files opened for quick edits, assets used once, or outdated versions that clutter the dashboard and slow down navigation. The Problem: Currently, the "Recent Files" list is a chronological log rather than a managed workspace. This leads to several issues: Workflow Clutter: Opening a dozen small assets for a quick task pushes important, long-term projects off the list. Version Control Confusion: Multiple iterations of the same file appear as identical thumbnails, leading to accidental openings of the wrong version. Privacy & NDA Risks: In screen-sharing or over-the-shoulder client sessions, sensitive or unrelated projects are exposed with no way to hide them without wiping the entire history. Non
As some of you may know, when you try to select an anchor point in Photoshop, it sometimes either misses the click or doesn’t select at all, which can be really frustrating. I wish the anchor points could be scaled up in Photoshop, just like they can be in Illustrator. Please upvote my post so we can see this feature in Photoshop one day!
Is there any way to enlarge the Bezier anchor points in this dialog?I find the size of the points awfully small: especially on a high-res display.I looked around for any options, along the line of those found in Illustrator Preferences (for anchoir points) to no avail?I understand one can "click" on the image to "move" the handles but that's less of an elegant solution.I have the same criticism for all Bezier tools in Photoshop... Too small for comfort. InDesign is the worst...
https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2628101I am having an issue with displaying layer overlay, as I am working on a WIN10, PS CC machine, but I am based in Belgium (and using azerty keyboard) and therefor, I cannot reach the \ shortcut. For me, that is ALT GR+<, which PS does not recognize. It is driving me crazy! I have read articles and understand the menu shortcut is hidden (that is why I have just spent the last hour searching for it in vain, before I found this article). I have also had to change "change brush size" in order to use my wacom intuos pro tablet some years ago (from "[" or "{" and "]" or "}" to "(" and ")". Does someone know how I can display the mask overlay (in ruby red, as Adobe calls it) for my machine? Reading the above, I don't fancy changing my keyboard just for PS and having to change it afterwards every time, as I often switch between browsing, emails, PS and LR. My question is thus : Make the backslash key for showing/hiding t
Photoshop 2026, file > open as > camera raw disallows more than one file to be opened. yet bridge allows more than one jpg file opened as camera raw. Why ?is major pain when working on pics in photoshop. mmeans having to slow mo navigate to files when Pshop allows file explorer to immediately find the folder I was working on. there is NO REASON WHATSOEVER to deny us this ability in pshop. esp as its allowed us in bridge. been a major pain for many years,
I have been working with Adobe Photoshop (Illustrator, After Effects & Premiere Pro as well) for ~20 years. And over the last five it is a little curious to see so many updates to filters, generative tools, and advanced selection tools and almost literally nothing else. I like these changes and updates, don't get me wrong. But the basic workflow of the app feels positively archaic in 2025. A good example of a the kinds of circular and needlessly complicated routines PS still requires here: An example of a brutally segmented task that many people are familiar with below. It's something that sometimes I'll do from habit without thinking about. But when I think about it, it's absurd. The math that compels a pixel selection -> path -> shape is right there and should be controllable with a two click operation, and one click in any one direction creating a real-time layer (not a saved custom shape that requires more tedious menu diving or a path in a paths tab that visuall
SummaryAdobe can provide fast, high-quality thumbnails and previews of PSD and PSB files to the Mac Finder at low engineering cost and without any involvement from Apple. There are two independent improvements:- Store higher-resolution JPEG previews in PSD and PSB files.- Implement an OS X Quick Look Plugin for handling PSD and PSB files.Storing higher-resolution previews would eliminate the need for users to save files with the Maximize Compatibility option just to get larger thumbnails and previews in the Mac Finder and Windows File Explorer. It would also speed up the generation of thumbnails and previews for very large files (hundreds of megabytes and larger). Previous versions of Photoshop stored such previews, but this functionality was removed some number of versions ago.Implementing a Quick Look plugin would provide thumbnails and previews of PSB files (not currently provided on OS X), and it would greatly speed up previewing very large PSD files. It’s quite straightforward – m
