Hi team photoshop, I just discovered an app that has many amazing AI based face edit features: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.faceapp&hl=en_US&gl=US One particular impressive feature is AI-assit smile - tried it with doubt but the outcome is so mind-blowing. It is the most realistic smile generator I've seen. Unlike Photoshop's lame "liquify" face-morphing feature, not only it updates the mouth shape, it also generates realistic wrinkles around your eyes, push your cheeks up etc etc to make the generated smile so good. You HAVE TO try it. I actually paid for the pro version just for this one feature alone. Please add this to neural filter please please please can you imagine how many shots you can save just because of the subject doesn't know how to smile? (including my 5 year old girl)

I just went and purchased a ipad pro 12.9 5th generation ipad and i cannot acess my workflow actions or any actions i have purchased from PS when will this be available , Supossidly Ipads are the #1 editing tool  for PS but how if you cant use all the software 

As a timesaving feature, add a right mouse button shortcut to batch run an action on all open images; like selecting File/Automate/Batch/Source=OpenedFiles.Or maybe clicking the Run Action icon while pressing Shift key.

I'm being drawn to purchase Afinity Photo on the iPad due to the lack of focus stacking in my current version of photoshop iPad .. this is certainly a feature that should be included by Adobe .. ASAP 

Why does Liquify still not have this feature?  I want to be able to place my mouse over a certain part of the picture and scroll-in, just like in regular Photoshop.  Only in Liquify, the scrollwheel zoom doesn't aim toward the mouse cursor, it just zooms in general, so, one still has to manually move the picture after the zoom action. The algorithm for this is trivial.  I've implemented it myself in my own UI projects.  Can't we add this to Liquify, please?

Hi all, despite Adobe's best efforst to create intelligent masking tools for photoshop I find that the object/quick selection tools actualy do a pretty bad job at seeing edges. I cut out a lot of plants with stems and branches etc and the tools will never get into corners, often missing huge chunks that have really clear boundaries. They miss edges that a magic wand would pick up easily. More often than not I abandon these tools and actually go into camera raw to use the masking brush set to auto mask to get a good edge. I'll make my image as contrasty as possible then back in photoshop use colour range and quick masking to get a decent selection.I dont just want to use it to alter colours like on CR/lightroom, I want to use it to get a selsetion to I can cut or copy.Given that Adobe has brought excellent masking combinations from photoshop to lightroom, is it not possible to bring the auto mask brush over to PS?  it has so much control - not like the jumpy quick selection tool. Y

Was working on a project the other day where I couldn't help but ask, "Why don't I have corner options (rounded, kerfed) under the stroke effect?". We have them in Illustrator and InDesign, why not Photoshop? It'd be great to save presets as an effect/style so we don't have to rely on creating/controlling vector shapes with the attributes. That's it, that's the question.

It's great that PS now runs native on Apple Silicon--but they need to integrate plugins. I can't use the native version because it doesn't allow key plugins(formerly extensions) essential to my workflow. This is not dependent on developers, this is the responsibility of Adobe.

I came across a feature in Adobe Acrobat that allows to read image and track the text on the image. Please make it easy to solo a Channel (alt-click?) Right now, the only way seems to be to hide all other channels.

Sometimes I install  bunch of fonts and wanna try them all in one session. I wish I could sort my font list after latest added for that use. 

Why do I need to have all my Libraries items physically on my hard disk?Why can't I have just a preview of them and if necessary download the item? Let me explain. I work at a company with over 100 designers. We have thousands of items in Photoshop Libraries. Sometimes I need to use one of these items. But I don't understand the need to have around 40GB on my hard disk if everything is also in the cloud. For comparison, if I have Google Drive installed on my computer, it won't download all the files I have on my Online G-Drive. My team receives weekly around 13000 images for color matching. To be more productive and read the HSB values of color, we would benefit from having the option of getting immediate HSB values when we add a color sampler. 13000 X 2 color samplers per image = 26000 color samplers and 26000 RGB to HSB values changes.   Please let us have the choice to add HSB values on the INFO panel by adding any new colorSampler.  The idea is to add another third line after "First color readout" and "Second color readout" regarding the mode preference of any new color sampler.   #colorsampler #infopanel #HSB #RGB #color

Wouldn't it be great if Photoshop had the possibility to draw straight lines with a brush in any angle? Yes, i know you are going to mention the work arounds and the possibillity to click on one place and command click on the next. But these options are poor, for professional users: with a mouse you get a straight line, and with a tablet you get a touch-sensitive line with a flow towards zero pressure. Yes you can use the path tool and transform that into fake-sensitive brush strokes, i know, i know.But seriously: the way you draw a line with a ruler in the real world, deciding yourself on what part to give pressure and where not - wouldn't that be great as a photoshop tool? I hope adobe works on a few tools that stayed under-developed over the years.Best,martin

Hey, I'm looking to remap large parts of default hotkeys to work in the way I'm the most comfortable in. But many times I run into the message "is an invalid shortcut. You can only use .." which I find to be strange. Thinking about what the hotkey editor is as a function within the software, it is for me to change the way the software was made to be interacted with, to how I wish to interact with it. So if I for some reason I want to use any modifiers for 'Tools' such as ctrl, alt or shift, there should be no reason for it to restrict me. I understand that there is most likely a technical reason within how the software in how it's built for why I'm currently not able to use what I would like, and that is why I bring this up. Many people I work with that want to set their hotkeys for productivity and efficiency have to resort to other means by using AutoHotKey or other softwares that spoofs keypresses such as a key remapper software. And it just strikes me odd that people have

Having the option to check a box to place Smart Objects in a Photoshop file by resolution (not by dimensions) would be handy for something like the following: I want to use Smart Objects in Pattern Preview. My scans of things I illustrated (and edited in their respective files) are various sizes. This would make pattern creation faster and easier to use for some projects. Please consider this as an update. Thank you! (Since there are some really old forum conversations about this topic with a lot of replies on current uses, to clarify: I'm not asking for an explanation for how to use the existing workflow; I'm asking for the ability to have a new option included in the workflow that respects resolution.)

Do you think you should be able to change the color of your file name tabs ?

I would love to see filter settings being changeable over the video timeline. So at the start the blur is set to 2 and then by the end of the timeline it is set to 6 or 10 etc

There must be a use of middle mouse button or the use of hand tool in layers pannel to scroll through layers pannel as it will help a lot while using a pen tab my pen tab do not have a scroll wheel so every time i wish to scroll through layers pannel i have to go to the scroll bar.

I do a lot of annotation of screen snips in Photoshop, so when creating a new file I often use the current Clipboard dimensions. It's not a big deal, but it would be cool if the current Clipboard contents would be automatically pasted into the new project when that New Document setting is used. That would save me from having to press Ctrl-V, thereby speeding up my workflow by a microsecond or two.  🙂   Could that be possible?   Thank you for considering it!   Rick Hohmann [Personal information removed by moderator ]

I really wish there was a way to establish color variables within Photoshop. Yes, it is a raster based tool but there are specific sections within photoshop that could really benefit from color variables within the addition of a color variable palette.  Color variables can easily be added to the specific photoshop element / functions where colors are already procedural as the list below: Text objectsVector shape objects in photoshop Color fill layersAny color sections within the layer effects section (i.e color overlay, shadows, glows etc) ***Of course the user can select a color variable and paint or fill the canvas but this will be rasterized and will not change when the user changes the color variable. When I close a Photoshop document, all I want to see my is my desktop. The ever present Home Screen really gets in the way of a productive workflow. Are there any plans to allow users the option of eliminating the Home Screen? Please work this option into preferences in the future.
