I thought after my eye surgery this was not going to be a thing. My eyes are fine and the menubar displays at a 6 point font size. I have tried everything, UI interface, open/close. I've tried the .exe "system" setting which didn't do anything. This has been a long time issure for many. What I would suggest: Open up Word and at the bottom of the screen there is a slide bar. The text in the document can be adjusted to the users liking. Perhaps this idea could become part of the menubar in Adobe. Add a slider bar to adjust the menu font size to the users liking. I spoke to a support person and they told me that it Microsofts problem and all the settings had to be done through the Windows Settings feature. OR perhaps you could add a Zoom in / Zoom Out feature that we use in our browers, CTRL - and CTRL +. I have to say it is becoming unberable not to work normally. Let's start the new year, 2026, with larger menubar sizes! Thanks for listening from a long-time user (Macromedia) Happy New
I wish that it were possible to show/hide blend if effects similar to how you can show/hide other layer style effects. Sometimes I have several copies of a layer each with different blend if effects and it would be helpful if I could turn the effects off and on to see how they interact with each other.
PS for iPad does not provide any ability to ACTUALLY manage your brushes. Fresco lets you "favorite" brushes, but PS (iPad) doesn't allow any sort of organizing brushes, so going between certain brushes you commonly use requires a scroll through all the brushes until you find the one you want. Can a feature be added to allow "favorites" and/or the ability to create custom brush folders?
Photoshop for iPad is great, and I'd really like to see Extruding added as an option. Along with Bayer-Ordered Dithering filters.
Perspective Crop is a great tool for correcting the perspective of an image that is inside another image like a poster on the wall. You select the four corners of the poster and the tool returns the poster in a flat, no perspective image that matches the original poster to what it is possible from the source picture. But what if the image you want to straighten is on a curved surface? Think about a publicity poster in a subway tunnel or a sign on a cylindrical column. or even a logo on a football ball. In those cases, Perspective Crop Tool can't straighten the image. but all those cases could be solved if the straight edges of the trapezoid could be pulled in a curve to adapt to the situation. This would be something similar to the Warp Mode in the Free Transform where you have the transform rectangle subdivided in a 3x3 grid and you can curve the sides but instead of curving the image, you are curving the cropping frame to adapt to the curved image. Here is a mockup of how t
Hi all, Giovanni here. Huge PS fan and user. I love working with artboards in Photoshop, they allow me to condense in a single file multiple iterations and/or version of creatives. I sometimes find myself using Photoshop to design print creatives. Sometimes I'm designing such prints using artboards. I understand I can set bleed when exporting single-artboard files, but when I have multiple artboards PS applies the bleed settings treating the whole workspace as if it was a single big artboards. Thus I'd like to ask: will it be possible in the future to apply bleed settings to single artboards? I hope this is comprehensible and useful to fellow users too. Looking forward to receiving feedback! Best, Giovanni
Currently, there appears to be no way to select/eyedrop a color from the CC Libraries panel when the Layer Style dialogue is open. For example, if I want to apply a color to my Stroke, or Color Overlay layer styles, I'm not able to eyedrop a color from within my CC Library. (MacOS) In some earlier versions, you could "drag" the eydropper across the screen and over to the desired color in your libraries panel, but this no longer works (Photoshop 2026). Doing this only pans your artboard off the screen. The only workarounds I've found are 1) sorting the Library swatches in descending order so that their HEX codes are displayed to the right, then I manually type the color into the color picker (but this is incredibly inefficient, and frustrating since the colors are RIGHT THERE, just a click away) or 2) before I open the dialogue, I pre-select the color so that it is loaded into my foreground color on the toolbar, which IS an area of the screen I can eyedrop while the layer styles p
Hi all, Giovanni here. Huge PS fan and user. As I love using PS software across devices, I'm noticing that the files I saved in Projects in my Creative Cloud on the desktop (MacOS) version of Photoshop, aren't really visible on the iOS Photoshop app counterpart. I can see files stored in the main CC folder instead, but I can only access those. Is there a reason for this? Or am I missing something? Will browsing through Project files will be made available for Photoshop iOS too in the future? Looking forward to hearing back. Thanks, and merry ChristmasGiovanni
I love the live brushes on adobe fresco and I think it would be very helpful if they were available on Photoshop too on mac. If they are supported on ipad, i dont find a reason not having them on desktop too, as its more powerful!
Bayer-Ordered Dithering filter would be really useful, especially around cartoon work.
Simple request... finally after all these many years... modernize and update the Image Processor script.Support many more file formats. Support transparency if the file format allows for it. Support 32bit depth (EXR). Allow actions to run both before and after. Perhaps consider allowing multiple actions to run incrementally. Allow option to name the output folder. Include the option to save and use presets. Integrate the Image Processor in to PS formally instead of being an external 'Script'. IMO this should have been done many years ago. Let's carry essential pipeline workflows forward and modernize and improve them as we go. Add a +1 if you'd like to see this updated / upgraded as well. Also add any ideas you have to the thread.
If Photoshop adds an automatic Face Detection–based Smart Crop feature, it would greatly improve the user experience by allowing fully automated cropping. This feature should automatically straighten the photo and give users multiple crop preset options, such as cropping from the head, shoulders, chest, or up to the elbows, along with a custom size option. The system should automatically detect the face and crop the image precisely according to the selected preset, while automatically selecting the appropriate ratio. Such an automatic yet customizable Smart Crop feature would significantly simplify and enhance professional photo-editing workflows.I sincerely request Adobe Photoshop to consider adding this kind of advanced Smart Crop feature.
In recent versions of Photoshop, file extensions (such as .psd, .jpg, .png) are no longer visible in the Recent / New Filelist by default. This makes it harder to quickly identify file types when opening files. While switching the view to List View does show the file type, this should not be a required workaround. In previous versions of Photoshop, file extensions were visible by default, and this behavior was much more efficient. This appears to be a usability regression rather than an improvement. Restoring visible file extensions in the default view—or at least providing a preference to enable them—would significantly improve workflow and file management. Please consider bringing back this functionality in a future update.Thank you for your consideration.
I've deleted this post's text, because the issue turns out to be a bug, not a feature to be requested.(Samples do persist between mixer brushes--except for some instances. Something isn't working right.)
It would be nice to be able to remove/heal subject in my photos that are in front of another subject using a new tool for a focal range smart remover. This is already possible, but doesnt exist. I can seperate items in my picture based what is in front of another item. For example, removing landlines from a picture that runs across trees or buildings. I can remove it pretty decently, but there are times that the object behind has letters or details that become distorted, making it worse. In order to remove an unwanted object, you would need to brush over both the object and whatever is behind/infront of it. Can we please have a feature that allows us to remove an object in front of another object without distorting the object/subject behind it?A tool that recognizes the objects are further or closer than other objects whe using the remover tool. But making it an optional feature for certain edits. Thanks!
Bonjour.
Currently, when I lock guides in a Photoshop file and then close the file or restart Photoshop, the guides become automatically unlocked when the file is reopened. This causes accidental guide movement when making quick edits, which disrupts workflow and precision.I would like guides to remain locked persistently until the user manually unlocks them — regardless of:Closing and reopening the fileRestarting PhotoshopMaking changes in the documentAdditionally, this issue becomes more problematic when working with Smart Objects. If guides are locked in the main document and I double-click a Smart Object to edit it:The Smart Object opens in a new documentThe guides in that Smart Object file are not lockedThis leads to accidental guide changes while editing the Smart Object, even though the parent file’s guides are lockedRequested ImprovementsPersistent Guide Lock StateLocked guides should stay locked across file saves, file reopen, and Photoshop restarts.Guide Lock Consistency in Smart Obje
when using object transform to stretch, sheet, or skew a layer, the axis of refrence for the transform control box is locked in on the X/Y axis. now if you rotate the object, the axis of the transform control box will rotate with the object, but only until you confim the transform at which point it resets. This means that if you rotate a perfect square to be sitting at 45 degree angle, you can stretch it on a 45 degree axis into a perfect rectangle on a 45 degrees if its donew in only one transform. The issue is that after you confirm the transform, or if you have an object already at an angle you want to stretch on an angle, there is no simple built in way to rotate the angle of the transform box to match the angle of the layer/selection being transformed. This functionality is a basic necessity in all 3D modeling apps so I'm pretty surprised it hasnt been added to photoshop in the 15 years ive been using it. Before people start suggesting to just use smart shapes or some smart object
I have found that if there are more than two faces in a photo and you use the photo restoration in the neural filters, it will generate an error and turn off the function. I would like to see the photo enhancement in the photo restoration neural filter, separated from the face enhancement in the photo restoration filter. The reason I think they should be separated is because when the face enhancement causes the function to error out, then you lose the photo enhancement function too.
Please can you optimize the application... 1 doc, 0 layers => memory usage 2290 MB
I very often need to adjust the geometry of a picture such that a discernible object in the picture (say a frame, or a building) becomes rectangular; the rest of the picture should be adjusted accordingly. Quite frequently the automatic adjustment in Camera Raw fails, arguably because it searches for right angles in the complete picture, rather than the object of interest. What would be needed is straightforward: Camera Raw already comes with a powerful object selection tool. All that would be needed is the ability to adjust the complete picture conditional on the selected object being reactangular. (I know there is the manual option, with Shift + T on a Mac, but this is not only laborious. It also frequently is imprecise, as I need to do the manual correction while zooming out to the full picture, and then am not precise enough)
I hope this gets red by the appropriate parties. I recently updated my Mac OS and PS...Only to find that .Adobe decided to change the color of the spot healing brush from transparent pink to a dark grey. After spending an hour on the phone with 2 of your advisors trying to change it back.....they both discovered that's not possible....I was told this was a decision made by your "Design Team".....you have taken a near perfect tool and made it harder to use.....when it was transparent pink you could clearly see the intersection of the brush and the object edge......if you are working a dark grey to black the brush disappears......now well thought out!!....... Clearly indicates that the person responsible for making this change is not a creative more like some sort of ridiculous, corporate decision or something that happened as a result of changing something else you should change it back. This is clearly a mistake on your part. Next issue please this photos of the 32nd Musical ele
Photoshop already has a powerful remove tool and it can already automate the removal of people, wires, and other distractions, but why can't it remove dust, dirt, and scratches? I'm primarily work with film and other analog media and dust is the bane of my existence. I would love to have this automated feature added to photoshop.
Hi, 1. Description Adobe Creative Cloud (ACC) in the "Other versions" list for Photoshop does not include the version 24.4.1. The closest one ACC is providing is version 22.2. As you know, many PCs are staying on Windows 10 thanks to Extended Security Updates (ESU): - 1 year till October 2026 for consumer ESU ; - 3 years till October 2028 for commercial ESU. In addition, some Windows 10 editions such as Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021 edition are able to get updates till Jan, 2032. It also means these PCs are keeping the same hardware for a long time including a graphics card that is not compatible with DirectX feature level 12, only with DirectX feature level 11.Besides the relative AI bandwagon, the incentive to renew hardware seems currently less important for many professional and retail clients. It is known within the Adobe Community that the latest Photoshop version to support DirectX feature level 11 and that does not requir
How are we almost in the year 2026 and they haven't given the iPad version of photoshop premium a AUTO-ALIGN tool for layer/photo stacking......... Its such a basic and almost essential core function for an average macro photography workflow, yet its nowhere to be seen as available on iPad. Theres a popular post regarding this exact thing from December 2019 and they still have yet to add it to the iPad 6 years later...Community guidelines says "To submit an idea, please provide: Why is this valuable to you?"Why would an Auto-align feature on iPad be useful when trying to stack 100 images?... Umm because its 100 images and thats what technology is for, to help with tedious and time consuming tasks... Yet on the desktop version, you only have to press 2-3 buttons and it automatically stacks all 100 images for you.Again, its literally almost 2026 and people have been asking for this feature on iPad since 2019 😞 PLEASE UPVOTE
