It would be helpful to put the smoothing slider directly in the brush context window next to the brush size, as we adjust smoothness quite often while working.
Hello Adobe Photoshop Team,I would like to report a long-standing issue that has affected Photoshop for several years.Issue DescriptionThe problem occurs when working with a duplicated image layer.Steps to ReproduceOpen an image in Photoshop. Duplicate the image layer. Select the duplicated layer. Apply one or more of the following commands: Image → Auto Tone Image → Auto Color Image → Auto Contrast Verify that the color correction has been applied successfully. Perform another operation on the same duplicated layer, such as: Straightening the image. Scaling or transforming the layer. Expected BehaviorThe Auto Tone, Auto Color, or Auto Contrast adjustments should remain applied after any transform or straightening operation performed on the same layer.Actual BehaviorAs soon as the duplicated layer is straightened, scaled, or transformed, the image unexpectedly reverts to its original colors. The Auto adjustments are lost, as though they had never been applied, while the transform i
I have a JPG that I’m slicing up for email html. When I save for web it only saved one slice as my selected JPG output format, the other slices saved as PNG.I’ve tried selecting all slices before save for web. I’ve tried selecting all slices in the save for web window. Nothing seems to enforce my intended output format of JPG.Also, I have no idea why it’s choosing PNG. This image started life as a JPG. There is no transparency at all. This issue has been plaguing me for months!here’s an old post on the subject...
Hello, Is it possible to create the same tag for psjs files like jsx files ? It could be nice to let them appear in the different menu (filter/script etc). /*<javascriptresource><name></name><menu></menu><enableinfo>true</enableinfo><eventid>default</eventid><category></category><about></about></javascriptresource>*/
As the title says, when I attempt to draw in Photoshop, my brush lags significantly in a way that is impossible to work with. When moving the pen around at an average speed, the line appears behind it in short bursts with a few seconds between. This began about a week ago although I had not opened Photoshop for a while beforehand. This is only happening with Photoshop and only with my Cintiq. There is no lag when using the Cintiq with another drawing software, and no lag when using my older Intuos with Photoshop. I draw with fairly simple brushes on lower resolution canvases. My specs:Laptop- MSI GS65 Stealth 9SEOS- Windows 11Tablet- Wacom Cintiq Pro 24 PGraphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060CPU: Intel i7 The main things I have tried since the problem began:- Updated Photoshop from 2024 to 2025- Updated Wacom driver- Updated NVIDIA driver- Made sure GeForce overlay was turned off- Made sure Photoshop was still set to use the NVIDIA card- Made sure I had a decent amount of free
my Adobe photoshop web is not working. When I drag and drop a photo it says "we couldn't open your document. Please try reloading the page or signing into another account" I've tried reloading a bunch of times, I have no other account. My video card drivers are up to date, and all the other stuff suggested online. Please help
I have a MAC operating system. During the previous Photoshop update, I canceled the update after five hours of updating. As a result, the entire program was removed from my computer, which means that I lost all actions and Brush tools. Of course, I spent several hours reinstalling the brush tools and actions. The whole thing happened again during the last update. I contacted Adobe for help. An Adobe employee connected to my computer, found no errors, but unfortunately the issue happened again when he canceled the update and everything had to be reinstalled. Does anyone else have similar problems? If anyone has, how did they solve them, if that was even possible. In all likelihood, Adobe has problems, and then we customers are wasting hours trying to get the program back or upgrade it with all actions, Brush tool.Branko Teršek
Photoshop as an example, but actually this concerns all Adobe products: please launch the application window immediately behind the splash screen, instead of showing only the splash screen for several seconds.Splash screens without application window are nothing but inconvenient. Since Mac and Windows are both fully multi-desktop platforms in this day and age, it creates the followingProblem:Quickly swipe to an empty desktop to launch Photoshop, Illustrator or another Adobe app. Splash screen appears. You already know it takes several seconds, so you swipe back to another desktop to do whatever relevant. The Adobe app will now open on the active desktop; NOT on the empty desktop where you wanted to open it, and where the splash screen appeared.Solution:Launch the actual application window (placeholder) immediately behind the splash screen while the app is loading up. This way the application window does not launch on another desktop if you switch desktops while the app is still loading
The border overlaps onto the image and makes it darker. What setting is causing this? It occurs whether I do the sky replacement completely in Ps or if I start the image processing in Lr and use the “edit in photoshop” feature. It does not happen to the same images used in On1 sky replacement so Photoshop is the chief suspect. The sky in the examples shown below was made smaller so the border was visible to illustrate the problem. Thanks in advance to anyone who can point me in the right direction. I’m out of ideas for where else to look for the cause.Bottom of sky imageTop of sky image
After a recent update, I can no longer permanently turn off “Show Extras” and layer/selection edges. I don’t want any edges, bounding boxes, etc showing. How can I turn these off globally and permanently like I could before? When I close all files, those options under View are greyed out.
Not only photoshop, all of softwares by adobe. Many artists who using adobe products don't want to using & supporting generative ai at all.we have rights to opt-out from these things like generative ai tools in software, unwanted ads and nofitications.
On the single adjustments panel, I’d like to keep my most used tools at the top in the order I’ve used them for years. With the updates I understand putting new features at the top. It kills my flow though and I have to relearn where the tools are. Would like to keep things the way they were for years. please bring this feature back.
Yesterday morning it was working just fine at first, but by about the 10th photo I was editing, the Selection Brush’s add more setting stopped functioning. It performs like the add less. The add less works correctly. I cleared my browser cache, restarted my browser, tried a different browser, restarted my computer, and none of those helped. I asked the built in AI and they advised trying in an incognito window incase it was a plug-in interfering. Still no difference. I tried a different image, thinking maybe that was the issue. No change. The AI said that it is most likely a bug on your end, so here we are. Note: No, I do not have the ability to install the desktop version on this particular PC.
Issue: Photoshop version: 26.10.0 20250811.r.7 x64 (final, Release) OS: Windows 11 64-bit (10.0.26100.4946), 4070 RTX (mobile), i7-13700h, Windows HDR enabled Steps to reproduce: Create a new 1000 x 1000 px document., RGB, 8 bit. In [Edit > Color Settings...] enable "Blend RGB colors using gamma 1.00". Enable [Settings > Technology Previews > Precise color management for HDR display], butit seems to be irrelevant (that's the only other setting I changed since Photoshop installation). Create 200 x 200 px, #00f blue raster square with 50% opacity ("Normal" blend). Ctrl + J to duplicate this layer. Group them. Fill bg to say #eee. Notice that the color they have is #6767f8 (correct I assume). Move the group with the Move Tool (V) and notice the color changed to #7f7ffb. Use zoom/pan (Z) and notice it flickered back to #6767f8. It's even possible to duplicate this group and fix both copies by the zoom tooland then drag only one of these groups with Move Tool (V)
While Perspective Warp is active, allow users to hold the Z key to temporarily activate Photoshop’s Zoom tool. Releasing Z should immediately return control to Perspective Warp without committing, canceling, or resetting the current perspective grid.Photoshop normally supports holding Z for temporary zooming while another tool is active, but this behavior is unavailable in the Perspective Warp workspace. Although zoom percentages and some alternate navigation methods may be available, they are less direct and interrupt precise grid placement.Supporting hold-Z zoom would make Perspective Warp consistent with Photoshop’s normal navigation behavior and make it easier to position grid corners accurately on detailed images.
All of a sudden, when I open any image in Photoshop, the colors appear to be desaturated...In Photoshop only. When I open that same image in Window Picture Viewer, or Quicktimer, or even if I drag the image into a brower window, the colors appear fine. But in Photoshop, something is clearly wrong. Now, I can make color adjustments to the image, but when I save and reopen reopen it in another application, I can see that color changes have been made, but they still don't match what Photoshop is displaying. The images are RGB image...I've checked the color space setings in Photoshop, and they are the default (Edit > Color Settings: North American General Purpose 2 / RGB: sRGB IEC61966-2.1 / CMYK: US Web Coated (SWOP) V2, etc, etc). I also made sure View > Proof Setup was set to: Working CMYK. I even reset Photoshop to it's default settings (by holding down CTRL-ALT-SHIFT on launching Photoshop)...But the images still appear desaturated when I open them in Photoshop...So, I don't unde
I have tried to just suck it up that Photoshop is flooded with AI features now, but the addition of Generative AI features in Camera Raw, and more specifically that they have taken a hierarchical priority in the panels, is infuriating and borderline insulting from a consumer standpoint. Adobe is diluting the individual purposes of each of their apps by pushing duplicate AI features across every interface they can find. ACR is for editing RAW photos. Photoshop is for manipulating them. Why can you not keep it this way? These features are also in Photoshop, which I often use after editing in ACR. They are literally being shoved in our faces in every corner of every Adobe application. I use these features in Photoshop. I do not want them in ACR, because they are used for completely different things. I now have to alter my workflow and take extra time to AVOID using them because they are intentionally put in the way. If you want to crop your photo you now have to click twice instead of

In the Canvas Size dialog, with “Relative to current dimension” checked, the width nor height can be set to 0. This is a big problem if you only want to change one dimension. Also, I will say that it is very annoying that the up and down arrow keys no longer increase and decrease the value by a whole number.
Hi everyone,Photoshop 2026 (v27.4) on Windows gives me this error constantly when work with curves (i didn't try other tools, so i hope this is the only one): "Impossible to update advanced objects because a program error has occurred (f376f9.749)".Sorry, my Photoshop is in Italian.Anyone else seeing f376f9.749 on Windows lately? Thanks in advance!
The bounding box of the transform tool is in the wrong location and not properly scaled when used on warped text. It does snap back to correct scale and location when a corner of it is selected but reverts once the transform is deselected again.Photoshop version is 27.5Off center and wrong scale bounding box on warped text
Really annoying bug. I spend 10 minutes going through my list of fonts in Photoshop, clicking the star next to fonts I want to remember as "favorites". Many of these fonts are installed via fonts.adobe.com. But Photoshop keeps turning off the "favorite" star for many (but not all) of my font selections. I think I've figured out the cause: If I start Photoshop shortly after logging in, before the Adobe Creative Cloud magic has had time to activate all my fonts, the fonts that are not yet activated don't exist yet (as far as Photoshop is concerned), and they lose their "favorite" star. Once the star is turned off by this bug, it stays off until I go back into Photoshop (after the fonts have all been loaded) and turn the star back on again.
Issue summary: A smart object produces unexpected behaviour when dragging a smart object with polar coordinates applied to a new document depending on where you drop it off on the canvas. Product and version: 27.8.0 Operating system: Windows 11 Steps to reproduce: 1. Create a square document 2. create a gradient (or any other content) and turn it into a smart object 3. Apply the polar coordinates filter 4. drag and drop the smart object to a new document 5. depending on where you let go with your mouse on the canvas, the filter outputs different results Expected result: same output as the document the object was copied from Actual result: result depends on placement on canvas, which can’t be changed by repositioning the smart object. double-clicking the smart object also does not help. it seems like the polar coordinates filter is stuck to the coordinates where you let the mouse go. With todays 4k monitor settings Photoshop worlspace the Menu Bar, Options Bar, Tools Panel and Panels Area is so tiny it can’t be read. Using the options choiced of enlarging type and the 200% increase doesn’t make any difference. The only way to actually increase the zize of these is to go to the Windows settings and modify the display setting. The problem with that is it makes Photoshop bigger but everything else is bigger too.Give me a slidebar so I can sdjust the size of these elements so it works perfectly for me. I’m betting a lot of long time users are aging like me and need this help. As a LONG time user of Photoshop, please don’t force me to using AI programs like Grok.
