Photoshop

I'm running Windows 11 on PC, and I have the most recent drivers installed for the tablet.As of a few days ago, Photoshop stopped working with the stylus. Is my tablet no longer compatible?

HiWe have saved many logos from Illustrator in CC libraries.When we place them from the library in Illustrator, the artboard is taken into the canvas.If we place the same asset in Photoshop, only the object without the artboard is inserted. In our case, this is not desired, as the artboard marks the safe zone.How can we get round this?Thanks.

Hi there!   I know you can export multiple layer comps in the export tab. But is there a way to do exactly this, but with all the different artboards i have set up in my photoshop file? As they all need to be different sized artboards but with the same image (web banners etc). Then one layer comp shows just the image, other one shows the text etc that sits on top of the image.   When i try to export the layer comps. It throws all the artboards onto one layer. So it becomes one big image, rather than it exporting all the artboards as a seperate file.   Thanks in advance!

Bonjour, J'envoie une bouteille à la mer.J'utilise un ordi sous Windows 11 avec Photoshop 26.11. Je travaille avec des images en couleurs indexées.J'ai deux zones d'aplat de couleur, et au milieu, un mélange pixellisé de ces deux couleurs.Je cherche à créer une zone d'aplat à partir de cette zone de mélange. Pour ce faire, je cherche à créer des zones de sélection en fonction de la densité des mélanges.J'ai essayé les outils de sélection, mais je ne peux pas les paramétrer comme je le voudrais. Jusqu'à présent, je dessinais les zones au pinceau, mais c'est tellement long ! Est-ce que je suis passé à côté de la solution ? Vous trouverez des captures d'écran qui éclaireront peut-être mes intentions. Merci par avance pour votre précieuse aide 🙂

Having this problem after I change a new computer with Windows10. I am using Photoshop CS6.When I zoomed in on an image and making a selection with polygonal lasso tool, I used to be able to hold the space bar to move the image around. Once space bar was released, it would revert back to the lasso tool and retain what I had selected, allowing me to continue selecting. Now, if I press the space bar during a selection, it doesn't switch to the hand tool and allow me to move at all. The polygonal lasso tool remains and I cannot shift the image around.this problem happened on both polygonal and magnetic lasso tool. I am not using pen or Wacom tablet, just using computer with mouse.

Im using Adobe 2025 release 26.11.0 on MacOS and there does not seem to be a symetry tool? I cannot find it in prefrences or anywhere... was it removed?!

I Cannot open Photoshop by clicking on app or through Bridge or Lightroom.  The error message is as follows, "Could not complete your request because Photoshop was unable to communicate with Creative Cloud Desktop". Bridge and Lightroom are able to open. Creative Cloud will not open either and I receive no error message, it just won't open.

Hi all, I opened Photoshop today and it did a quick update - I seem unable to do anything now - for example when I open an image, whichever tool I select (pen, heal brush, text etc) when I bring the cursor over the canvas it becomes the hand tool/icon and I cannot do anything to the image. Is this just a problem for me or have others experienced it? I have noticed things are a lot more glitchy since installing Monterey on my iMac... Many thanks,Jason

Hi  I have created my own Photoshop Keyboard shortcuts and I save them as a Set. Every so often they keep reverting to Photoshop Defaults, which is highly irritating, as I only find out when I'm in the middle of working on something and a shortcut doesn't work as expected, which breaks the flow. This has happened occasionally for the last few Photoshop versions.Does anyone else find this? Is it logged as a bug already, or is there a way to stop this happening? Many thanksRichard  

Here is the VERY frustrating issue:   1. I create a paragraph style {Helvetica Bold, 28/34} 2. I name is Medium Headline   What I do:   1. Select a new paragraph 2. Click the Medium Headline style 3. Click the Clear Override button.   What I get: The correct font, the correct color and the correct justification BUT a completely random font size (in this case 15.64 pixels)   This makes absolutely no sense and is an utterly frustrating bug.   [Moved from the CC Desktop forum by moderator]

Hi, I got this message when a try yo open a large 6mg PSF file. Is there a way to go arounf that. I need to see all the work done on the image. Here is the message I got, It is in french. It transtales to: Could not complete your request because an unexpected end-of-file was encountered. Is there a way to open it. Thanks     

Adobe Photoshop Version: 26.11.0 20250918.r.18 a87e57fWindows 11 x64 Version 10.0.26100 Build 26100 I work with LR and PS.  Opening layers from LR to PS works in background, but once the layers are loaded, the PS window comes to the front, interrupting my LR workflow. 1.  Select files in LR --> open as layers in PS2. Continue working in LR on next set of files to open as layers3. PS window comes to the front when layers are done loading4. If holding slider in LR when this happens, a sticky mouse typically happens. I've been using this workflow for a decade and this has never happened.How can I prevent PS from stealing focus and coming to the front when layers are finished loading?I only want to go back to PS when I've selected about 5 different sets of photos to open as layers.  

If I open any file, or create a new file I am immediately met with a "waiting for printer connection..." message, which it for some reason can not do. I am also not trying to print anything so not sure why it matters whether it can connect or not. I've unninstalled all printers, and reinstalled the one that I do use, and connected everything. I thought maybe it was the latest PS update, so I reverted to an older version and still the same problem. I'm running on windows 11. 

Whenever I resize text, my entire pc crashes completely, I have tried practically every troubleshooting attempt under the sun thanks to copilot. I have narrowed it down to photoshop's text rendering engine. I have deleted font caches, disabled the graphics processor, editing preference, put my preferences to default, changed scratch disks. Moved the file being worked on to a different drive, looked at task manager seeing that it was whatever disk that had the file on it go to 100% whenever it crashes. Sometimes it wont crash, itll freeze. Boa tarde.Fiz a assinatura a 2 meses, desde então já reinstalei o photoshop inúmeras vezes e solicitei ajuda ao suporte sem sucesso. O programa trava toda hora, roda em segundo plano o adobe crash processador e Adobe content Synchronizer, fui orientada pelo suporte a finalizar os processos, mas parecenem até virus porque voltam e e o programa trava novamente. alguem sabe a solução? Mesmo fora da internet o programa trava, não salva, não abre nada, tenho que reiniciar.

Hi there ! I have an m3 MacBook Pro and I’m trying to decide which of the p3 profiles would get me the best results out of the box for printing comics? This is an indie venture more for fun than anything else, and I know a calibrator or more accurate display would be a better option, but I’d rather try to work with what I have for the moment. Is there one of the p3 profiles that would be good enough for cmyk print work? The company requests files to be in RGB format so I suppose my workflow would be choose whichever profile is suggested, (lower the brightness ?) and then work in the p3 space and convert to RGB on export and view it in a few places to see if I like the result? Then when it comes to print since this a less than accurate method just ask for test prints and see if it’s good enough for me? I think d50 or one of the other print d3 profiles would be best but figured I'd ask. Thanks so much!

Mac Studio with 2 Epson 4800s USB connected directly into the back of the computer. I can print out head cleans etc via the Epson utility, so they're obviously connected, being seen and receiving instructions from the Mac. However, trying to print an image out of Photoshop will not. Keeps saying 'waiting for printer to become available' when there's nothing in the print queue. Deleted the printers & everything to do with them. Reloaded the latest drivers from Epson & endless restarts later, still no joy.Any ideas anyone? I'm seriously considering wiping the hard drive and giving a completely OS clean install and then adding my apps. Which I'd rather not have to do.

My photoshop windows is almost inposible to use. Before i update it to the resent 2025 version the screen would go all burred (out of focus) when i touched a key on the program. Since the down load hoping this would resulve the problem, but now as soon as i touch the keypad or mouse the screen blacks out flickers for a second then its ok untill i touch another key. What happening? Cheers

I needed to create an image that included blurred lines, and I made this:Procedure– I generated the lines, as paths, in InDesign, because that’s the application I know best, then added the blurring in Photoshop– I saved the resulting image in the following formats: EPS, JPG, PNG, TIFF, hoping that in at least one of these cases the result could be imported back into InDesign and the transparent background would be retained, and I could then place the graphic onto a dark background (I don't know how to do that in Photoshop)– This doesn’t work. When imported into InDesign the image appears with a solid white background instead of a transparent one. I tried various effects, such as “darken”, “lighten”, “multiply”, and none are right– I can't use clipping paths around the lines, because the lines are blurred and need to remain so. Lines with sharp edges won't work for what I need hereQuestions– How does one make coloured, blurred lines and place them on a coloured, non-white background?– W

I was used to clicking outside a selection to deselect it, but somehow it doesn't work anymore. Now I need to click CMD-D to deselect but I want to get back to just clicking outside it. I can't find what to reset to be able to do this? Or did something change? Thx

I am trying to use the online version of Photoshop. When I open any photo, no photo shows and the menu items are all light gray. What am I doing wrong?

Hey everyone, Lately, I’ve been experimenting with Photoshop to create a cinematic-style artwork inspired by action-adventure games like Ninja Arashi 2. The dark tones, moody lighting, and dynamic poses really caught my attention, and I wanted to recreate that same atmosphere using Photoshop tools.   Here’s what I’ve tried so far:   Used Color Lookup adjustments for a dramatic tone. Added fog and particle layers with soft brushes for depth. Played with Lighting Effects filters to focus attention on the main character. Used Blend If options for realistic shadow transitions.   However, I still feel like something is missing — maybe in the color grading or final composition.   For those who’ve done similar game-inspired digital art, what techniques or adjustment layers helped you achieve that true “cinematic” feel?Would love to see your suggestions or examples!   Thanks in advance
