Photoshop

Hello, I'm trying to resize a transparent background GIF I made with After Effects using Photoshop. However, white dots are appearing on the background, just like in the photo. Normally, these areas should be completely black. Am I setting something wrong?

I've never been so lost in Photoshop and been a user since 1988... These 'rich tool tips' have taken over the program and I'm not getting any work done because of the constant intrusion... Where are preferences as I look under Photoshop and there is no way to turn off these tool tips, there is no menu called 'preferences.'  Who ever thought this should be so hidden and. forced upon the lot of us who are simply trying to get our daily work done. Need help desperately to turn this tool tips stuff off please!

Photoshop v26.11In the File menu, after selecting Your Files, Photoshop does not remember the last used directory path. The file search bar is also missing! This bug has been reported many times in the Beta version... I reported it twice myself. With this bug, Photoshop is unusable for work—you can't search for your own files, and you have to go into a specific directory from scratch every time.

Hi, can i use Photoshop and/or Lightroom for editing, managing and storing sensual photoshoots (including (semi-)nudes, but NO explicit activities)? I DO NOT want to use it for abuse or any ill-mindet activites like deep fakes. Only legal photoshoots with all participanting persons being at legal age and agreed to do the shooting with free will.  I just asked this question an Adobe Agent via Chat Support and the answer was "No, you cant!" and then the agent abrubtly ended the conversation. Is that true?  Please let me know as i have no bad intentions at all and i do not want to violate any adobe rules, i just want to know if i can use adobe products for this or need to buy different companies products. I am just a small creative photostudio. Thank you very much for your help! 

Looking to replace some text in an image that's overlayered with a stamp. When I select the area (see attached image) and add the word I want to replace, Generative Fill spits back some weird language. Any ideas how to adjust (change language, etc.)? Thanks!

Hello Adobe Team, I would like to report a significant inconvenience when working with PDF files stored in Creative Cloud. Currently, it is not possible to open PDF documents directly in Photoshop or Illustrator from the cloud. The system always forces PDF to open in Acrobat, even though Photoshop and Illustrator fully support editing PDF files locally. This workflow creates additional steps: I have to download the file first, then open it manually in Photoshop or Illustrator. For heavy files this process is especially time-consuming and inefficient. I kindly ask Adobe to consider allowing users to open and edit PDF files directly from Creative Cloud in Photoshop and Illustrator, the same way we can open PSD, AI, or other supported formats. This would greatly improve flexibility and productivity for designers and artists who rely on Creative Cloud for file storage. Thank you for your attention.

I'm wildly confused. I've used this programs years and have never come across this issue. I must has tweaked my setting somewhere. But where? It's most likely so simple and I'll look like an idiot in the end, but it'll be worth it.Whenever I have exported files from my project, only the visible area on my canvas is included on my final file. But now, the whole original image is there. What the heck?Here is it. Canvas with about 40% of my original photo visible. The way I like it, and the way I want it to export.I go to export, and the whole friggin' photo is there:I've cropped the image with the "delete cropped pixels" function on too, and the stupid thing still shows up.I know I'm overlooking something. A level 2 Adobe support rep sent me here. I am unable to reactivate by install of the Adobe CS6 Master Suite as I have reached the maximum device activations. I had some software issues that required full system reinstalls, which prevented me from deactivating my installs. Apparently, support is unable to reset activations anymore. Is there any way to reset this on my end? There are no devices listed under "Activated Devices" in my account page.

I noticed the tie of my subjects is off to the side. What is a good (retaining shirt texture around it etc.) way to fix this?

Hello,I previously submitted a bug report here and received a suggested solution. However, the same issue has continued to occur repeatedly. I’m on macOS [insert version], running Photoshop 2025 26.10.0, with a Wacom [tablet model] on driver version [insert number]. The issue: Using the default Soft Round Pressure Size brush with Minimum Diameter = 0%.In Wacom Diagnostics, pen pressure reads cleanly from 0 → 100%.In Photoshop, the stroke never fills the full brush circle. Hello! Today I wanted to share one of the processes I have integrated into my Adobe Photoshop workflow, which I use daily in the form of batch retouching actions. For lack of a better name, it could be considered something like an "automatic zoom," and it takes advantage of certain features of the program in a way I haven’t seen anywhere else. I'm trying to record menu items via scripting, and am coming up empty. Modifying the below, I've gotten it to show up in the Automate Menu as "Bologna", and record as "Bologna" in actions rather than "Scripts Name: "Bologna"" 1. How do I create an event ID for my script? I modified this one from Contact Sheet II2. How do I call my menu item properly with a script? I've tried iterations of: app.runMenuItem(stringIDToTypeID("Bologna"));And get the error message:"The object “<unknown> menu item” is not currently available."3. In the last Photoshop 21.2.1 release there is a bug with the rotate view tool. In floating window mode when Rotating the View, the center of the rotation moves to a different area of the image - the compass doesn't stay fixed to the rotation point. In Full screen this doesn't occur. please fix.

  I'm getting a strange error. On Friday, I used Photoshop normally, but today, when I tried to open it, it didn't work. When I clicked the shortcut, it didn't show the home screen, and nothing else happened. When I accessed the Task Manager, it showed that the EXE file was open, but it wouldn't load.I've restarted, checked for pending updates (there aren't), and as a last resort, I deleted Photoshop and reinstalled it, but nothing changed. I don't know what else to do to fix this error. I'm working in an windows, and his updates are ok.

I purchased CS6 Design and Web Premium in 2013.    Have used it without problem...until the two computer I used it on crashed and are dead.    Can't boot them.I have downloaded and installed CS6 Design and Web Premium on a new computer.Download and install went OK.   I can use CS6 programs on a "trial basis".    Works fine.My problem is when I click "License This Software".I am told to sign in (to Adobe).     I do...The sign in appears to work and then a fraction of a second laterI see the sign in window again...   That loop continues indefinitelyAny ideas?  Help would be appreciated. More facts.     CS6 was licensed on the machines that crashed.The products page - https://account.adobe.com/productsshows my license and no indication that it's in use.The activated devices page - https://account.adobe.com/activated-devicesshows no activated devices.How to get my license accepted.

Hi, since the last 2 updates I keep having these problems, they are making me go crazy. First I can't open raw files from Bridge to Photoshop, I get a popup saying the file can't be opened due to a program error. Second, with the updates I lost all camera raw favorite presets and color profiles. And every time I close PS because I can' topen a file, camera raw preferences reset. I tried rolling back, uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times, I tried renaming the PS settings folder, I updated my graphic processor. I think I tried everything... I run on Windows 11. when i try to use droplet im getting action is damaged and can't open message when using droplet.underneith of that is says the file was downloaded on an unknown date. it's giving me the same message no matter what drive im pulling images from.   

Ever since the update 26.11 I am unable to replace color by eyedropping the background swatch.   Image>Adjustments>Replace Color   When you click on the on result to change color, the color picker window opens. From there you could eye drop the background color from the tools panel. The eye dropper icon doesn't come up at all anymore when clicking foreground/background color.

I know this has to be a bug because the design of the Toolbox has been pretty much the same for thirty years. You don't switch it up like this. The Paint Bucket and the Gradient tool are always together. Now the Gradient tool is alone - right clicking doesn't give you additional options - and you can't access the Paint Bucket (which is a really important tool) unless you click the three dots at the bottom of the Toolbox panel. I had to ask Help to find it. Help then displayed the icon for me under the three dots. So yay. Now I know where the Paint Bucket is. Not sure why it's there, but okay. I needed to use the Wizard tool to highlight an area and then apply Paint Bucket to fill it with another color. Once I'd selected Paint Bucket, that was the only tool that displayed when I clicked the three dots at the bottom of the panel. There was no list of tools, as I noticed there is when I don't select and use one. So, now I couldn't find the Wizard tool (it also wasn't where
