Photoshop

Hi all!  I have a script that automatically renames artboards based on their dimensions, adding 'jpg.100%' and enables generator.  I'm looking to take this one step further and add an 'IF' clause. For example if the dimensions are 1080x1080, then I'd like to rename the artboard 'InstagramSquare' Could anyone help me achieve this? For some time I've been unable to save a picture from Photoshop back to Lightroom.  The popup message says, "Unable to save.....because write access was not granted.  Adobe Support Remote Agents have worked on my computer remotely several times with no success.  Tonight another agent seemed to get things working right.  He went to some 'page' and set everything to 'read & write' and I hit the command key and the 's' key and the photo saved.  After signing off I worked on another photo and tried to save it and got the same popup, "Unable to save....".  Can someone tell me how to get to the page where I can set everything to 'read & write'?  I would be most appreciative. 

Mac Photoshop Generative Fill Error We've encountered an issue and can't complete your request 

I am running a Macbook Pro M4 2005, Sequoia 15.6.1 and Photoshop 26.10. The PlugIn menu is greyed out.I am trying to setup Nix Collection 8. I can access the Nix plugions via the Filter menu but, want to be able to use the Plugin Panel. Help! Thanks 

When introducing something new give us the option to continue with an older version. Forcing AI on all of us is going to make you lose customers who are not interested in using AI features I am upset I cannot cancel my subscription now I have work to do that doesn't not include learning AI options and your new formats. I don't mind learning AI when I have time but now I don't. Very disappointed with the transition process.

I have the logo below that we use for all our companies products. We also print this onto clothing for our apparel range, but I want to create a design that instead of a solid block is just an outline or the shape. What is the best and easier way to accomplish this? I was thinking just adding a stroke to it, but then it looks a bit messy after going around and removing the solid color afterwards. Thank you in advance for all your assistance!

Hi there. I've been using the Legacy Brushes > Default Brushes, that utilized the "natural media brush" engine on Photoshop for desktop. These would feature tilt, erodable tips, fan brushes that responded to stylus angle, and the like. I've just made, probably the most perfect pencil brush I've ever made, and I'd like to use it on iPad. But when I try to import it, I believe it says that it's not yet supported. What gives? Please help.

I'm using Photoshop 22.5.0 on MacOS Big Sur 11.5.2.I have created a gradient on a Photoshop file, but if I assign it a name and press OK, it will not save, meaning if I go back to the gradient window, the name now says "Custom" and my previous name I assigned it cannot be found. I have also tried to click on the folder "Basics" and pressed OK to try to save it there, but nothing is there when I go back to this window. I have also tried exporting it into the gradients folder.   

Greetings all, I recently got my new computer system up and running a week+ ago, and updated all of my apps in my plan.At this point in time, I feel very comfortable that everything is operating properly. I am of the opinion that I could/should safely delete the old apps; Photoshop 2020, Bridge 2020, LIghtroom Classic 2020, etc since I won't be using them any longer and they are taken up disk space unnecessarily. I am curious what the general consenus is in the Adobe community. Thank you in advance for your feedback. IThe part I'm having trouble with is the shadows.  I can cut her and the arms/paintbrushes out fine, but can't get the shadows to look right.  Is there a way to make the white background a navy blue so I wouldn't have to cut her out and it would keep the shadows? 

In the latest version of Photoshop, when I try to stroke a path with the mixer brush, it only produces a random scratchy effect. It seems like it can’t reset properly and isn’t sampling the mixer brush at all

My text cursor in Photoshop CC 2018 has problems. It is always at the front of a sentence and not where it should be (at the end). Ending punctuations (period, exclamation mark, question mark) when typed, go to front of sentence, not at end of sentence. Also, to delete the next character after the cursor, the delete key works like the backspace and vice versa - the backspace works like delete. This is all bass-ackwards. All text is horizontal. I never use the vertical text tool.No other software behaves like this. Apache's OpenOffice does not. My browser does not. Notepad does not. This is a problem with Adobe Photoshop only. I have no creative cloud fonts (to slow me down). I have not even ran Creative Cloud for months, so Creative Cloud is not causing the problem. This occurs with known working system fonts and custom fonts from various font sites.  This has been a problem since Photoshop CC 2014.  I have tried using Photoshop AI generative fill to remove the blue police car from the foregound.I have tried to use Photoshop to remove the police car and use generative fill to complete the train and concrete barrier. Photoshop just puts in another car. I select the police car then tell photoshop to remove the car and extend the background.  

I am using PS 26.10 on new HP Desktop. Photos frequently -- but not always --open with the leftside horizontal bars shown in the attachment. In the past week my crop tool on Photoshop 25.4.0 has changed.  I can't seem to just draw any size crop border around part of an image.  The crop tool only allows crop dimensions as per the drop down menu and this often is not what I want.I have tried every single option in the drop down crop menu and they are ALL pre-defined to some degree.I cleaned my keyboard and I may have pressed keys in unison because since then is when I've been experiencing this problem (!!!).

I have smoothing on and when i use my mouse, it works correctly. But if I switch to my drawing tablet, the smoothing does not work. It still shows as on in the toolbar but it doesn't do anything.

Hello,I can see that the MOVE tool has come up repeatedly, but my issue seems particularly stubborn.When I upload an image (jpg or PNG; with the former, I change the layer from background to "layer 0") and I then try to move it with the move tool, the image gets moved into a black void, and the chequered underground - excatly the size of the image - remains in place. I don't know what is going! I never had that problem. It's PS 2025. I unchecked "show layer bounds on hover" and "show hover bounds from layers" as I also used to have an empty blue frame that was being moved, that's gone now, but this made no difference to the problem as such. As you can see in the screenshot, nothing is locked on the layer panel, and I ahve also unselected and re-selected "Auto-select: Layer", no difference. I am going insane, as moving images is pretty much the first thing one does in PS! Any help please?

This is, perhaps, the MOST frustrating thing I've ever experienced to date w/ Adobe after 25 years. Truly. Photoshop launches, then closes unexpected after a minute or two. I've uninstalled and re-installed ALL of Creative Cloud including PSD. Updated drivers. Used Adobe Cleaning Tool. Updated preferences. Changed display settings. Updated PSD preferences. Read all the community posts. HELP PLEASE!!!
