I have posted about this previously, but perhaps someone has new sugestions.   I am shooting mutiple exposures of the same fixed image. The images have been taken on a Canon 5D Mk IV on a sturdy tripod with a remote shutter release at the same aperture. I use BBF to reduce any in camera movement.    Because I want to blend those images, I need to ensure the frames or layers are all 100% aligned.   As I shoot and edit a lot of images, I like to speed up my worklow as much as possible by creating preset 'actions', and Auto Align Layers is one of my 'actions'.   Before I apply this preset, and when I zoom in on the 3 layers, all 3 appear aligned. However, when applying >Auto-Align Layers>Auto this misalignes the layers (see attached images).   'Nudging' as as been suggested before is time consuming.   All suggestionss for a solution welcome.   Mac OS Ventura 13.1 PS v.24.1.0 attached images at 400%

Trying to export an image with an element that has a drop shadow but it keeps exporting with a border around it through the export for screens function in jpeg format. Using artboards and I have about 50 assets. Have tried exporting to png but photoshop crashes each time. Image exported:Image inside artboard:  

Depuis environ 2 mois, après des heures de retouches sur une photo (tif, 16bits, rvb), après avoir fermer le fichier, en l'ouvrant à nouveaux ou juste en le visualisant dans Bridge, une bande noir apparait sur l'image.  Il s'agit d'une bande noir, très fine, au contour bien net, il peut se situer n'importe ou sur l'image. J'ai rencontrer le même problème sur Capture One au moment d'exporter mes fichiers raw en tif, il s'agissait d'un problème avec l'accélération matériel.  L'apparition de cette bande noir est irréversible, il ne s'agit pas d'un problème avec un masque d'effet ou autre, la bande est bien sur l'image, inscrite dans les pixels.  Pire encore, après deux mois avec ce problème, je me rends compte aujourd'hui que en plus de cette bande noir, au moment de fermer le fichier qui contient divers masques d'effets et autres, Photoshop vient ré interpreter mes masques, certains sont peint a des endroits qui ne l'était pas, ou d'autres masque qui ét

I am receiving a pop up entitled "Update to access generative AI" that appears about 15 seconds after I first start Photoshop and a seemingly random interval of minutes thereafter. The first pop up will appear with or without my interaction, but the Photoshop window must be active. Intervals average about five minutes, and the shortest was 3 minutes and 6 seconds. The longest was about a half hour when I was multitasking with other programs.   Pressing the X only temporarily dismisses the pop up. Clicking on it causes the pop up to stutter for a moment before simply disappearing for another few minutes. It will also go away on its own after a few seconds before eventually returning.   I'm using Photoshop 24.3.0 20230316.r.376 37b4b38 x64 on Microsoft Windows 10 Pro Version 10.0.19045 Build 19045   I have tried: -Turning off Rich Tooltips -Resetting preferences -Uninstalling and Reinstalling the same Photoshop version -Upgrading to Photoshop 24.4.1 and downgrading to Phot

Today Photoshop was updated to v26.0 (Photoshop 2025), but as happened previously there an error in colour pallette, as you can see: The white simply isn't white, but cyan. This error happened also when the version 2023 was updated to 2024. As happened in previous version, the support suggested to install the old version until the proper correction was made. So until this new version be update, I installed the previous version, and you'll can see the colours are correct:By the way, this isn't an issue of my computer neither the video card (nVidia GeForce RTX 3050) I ask the support to see what's happening with the new Photoshop's version v26.0 released today (October 14)

Não foi possível completar o comando Dissolver devido a um erro de disco. Essa é a mensagem que aparece quando tento usar o filtro Dissolver em qualquer foto depois da atualização 23.3  Quando voltei para a versão anterior funcinou perfeitamente.

Photoshop crashes  when using batch jobs.  Using the latest update on windows 11. All the actions work fine when even if i select and click play on all of them at once, picture by picture but when i try to use a batch jobs with the retouches it crashes.    It's been happening since the december update.    Thank you,     

The ALT+RMB+Drag shortcut for brush size in photoshop is broken for me. The red circle in the middle is missing, and it cuts out and stops resizing randomly. My keyboard is not broken, my mouse is not broken, i am not letting go of the ALT key or RMB; this seems to be entirely the fault of Photoshop just deciding to crap out on me. It was working for an hour in advance, and there was no significant change between when it worked and when it stopped working. I did not change any settings, it was just working one second, and went from fully functional to broken while i was using it. I have tried restarting photoshop, restarting my computer, and looking on the forums and asking your AI chatbot "helper", every single one of these proved to be absolutely useless. I do not have the time or money to be able to use software that does not do what it is supposed to do.

"Crop" darf nicht als "Freistellen" übersetzt werden, weil "Freistellen" für eine andere, kompliziertere Operation in der Bildbearbeitungswelt längst reserviert und benutzt wird und bedeutet "Hintergrundentfernung" ("cut-out"). Das führt zur grossen Verwirrung.   Man soll "Crop" als "Zuschneiden" übersetzen.   Da aber "Zuschneiden" leider für "Trim" schon benutzt wird, schlage ich vor, für "Trim" das Wort "Abschneiden" zu benutzen.   Version und Plattform sind für diesen Übersetzungsfehler irrelevant.

With Photoshop 2025 (ps ver 26.1) when in macOS Native Full Screen the right side scroll bar appears, but does nothing when attemping to use the scroll bar. Same results with both macOS Sonoma 14.7.1 and Sequoia 15.1.1 on Intel and Apple silicon systems.    

Does anybody know when Adobe will allow you to select a text layer? It's been years since they have fixed this bug. In the meantime, can anybody suggest an alternative to Photoshop where you can add and manipulated text over an image?

I have an action (often used) that is now causing Photoshop 2025 to crash regularly and reliably. Part of the action uses Median blur with the Action Toggle activated. When activated PS will freeze and crash. If I turn off the action toggle and run the Action everything is fine. I'm not sure if the bug is for all Action Toggles or just when Median blur has an Action Toggle activated.

When removing blemishes on a blank layer above the background layer but below a black-and-white layer, my computer freezes for a minute or two and gives me a "not enough RAM" error. I've monitored the system performance — the RAM usage typically operates at 16–20 GB under normal workload but will suddenly spike to 100% (64 GB) and freeze. If I'm lucky, it will recover, and I can continue. If not, Photoshop crashes, and I lose all my work. Win 11 13900K (not overclocked)64gb ram using XMP profile GTX370 (not OCd)

Hi Photoshop team,I regularly use the scale marker feature for producing scientific figures. I have presets for scales at different magnifications and it's straightforward to add them.There are several settings when placing a scale marker, such as length text position and colour. These have seem to be saved in memory, so after setting a white scale bar, for the next image white is still selected.The problem I have is that the font size always defaults to size 4. If I select size 24, the next image I work on will be back to size 4 again. I don't know if this is a feature or a bug, but I don't understand why this would be the intended behaviour.I know this seems like a minor inconvenience but when making multiple figures it feels really tedious to have to select, when everything else gets carried over. Is there any way you can have the font size default to whatever the last selection was? Thanks!

The bug is as follows: When I import photos into Lightroom Classic 14.0.1, RAW files from a shoot, and create Smart Previews, corresponding DNG files are generated in the *smart previews.lrdata catalog. If I copy these DNG files to an iPhone, some of them display strangely — contrast is lost, and strange color tinting appears. On the latest versions when you stroke a path with the Art History Brush it will always use a standard brush and NOT the Art History Brush Selected   I know this because I made different Plugins with that Tool such as Real Paint FX and they still work   BUT for some reason when you do it manually, it doesn't

Hello, I'm having a problem in saving my files on Adobe Cloud, through Adobe Photoshop. I've already tested in others softwares like Illustrator, and it's working fine and normal. But when it comes to Photoshop, it doesn't work at all. Does anyone have had a problem similar to this and knows how to correct it, please?

Libraires dissappear from the WINDOW menu and from where we have SAVED them in the tool bar. Login, log out, clear data, uninstall, reinstall EVERY DAY has to be done to get them to come back, sometimes that does not work. LIBRAIRES should always be right here in the menu:  

The Generative Fill function has been grayed out as of today. It has worked seemlessly in the last days. It maybe that I ran out of credits for this month (I doubt it but it could be). but even then Adobe says: After the credit limits apply, if users reach their plan-specific generative credit limit during the month before they reset: Creative Cloud and Adobe Stock paid users can keep taking generative AI actions but using generative AI features to create vector graphics or standard-resolution images* may be slower.  So, this should not be a problem, right? How can I fix it?

Since I updated to Photoshop 2025 I have lost all the LUTs I had in Photoshop 2024. I've got hundreds and I am not going to install them one at a time through the 'Load 3D LUT' function in the application. I've tried looking for the 'presets' folder to copy them all to there, but there is no presets folder for Photoshop 2025. Previously it was C: Program Files / Adobe / Adobe Photoshop 2024. My LUTs are all still in the 2024 folder. I've also tried the migrate presets button in the application (Edit->Presets ->Migrate Presets) but it tells me "There are no presets to migrate from the older versions". Which is not true because I can see the LUTs in the previous version's folder.Why is there no Photoshop 2025 presets folder, is it an error that one was not created? Have Adobe changed how people install LUTS?If Adobe hasn't thought of a way to migrate LUTS, I'm just going to switch to some other software because I can't face the hours of pain of installing all my LUTS, one at a time
