Recently had to erase my HD (2019 MacPro) and do a new install of Sequoia. I was running Sonoma and PSD 2022 for two years at least and this keyboard shortcut worked great. I'm a professional illustrator and it was crucial to my work flow. While using the brush tool I hold down command option control and the color wheel popped up under the cursor for super quick color selections "on the fly".So I reasoned if I reinstalled 2022 I'd be back in business. I was able to reinstall PSD 2022 (FYI, this shortcut was "broken" in subsequent releases of PSD. I actually installed 2023 and 2025 and confirmed it and so did others on forums). I launched 2022 this morning and was dismayed to discover that shortcut does not work.I'm at a loss as to what the heck is going on and also very disappointed that probably the most crucial shortcut I used in my daily work flow is gone.I'm trying out Magic Picker (https://anastasiy.com/magicpicker) currently to see if it could utilize a similiar ketboard sh
I have the current PS 2025.Is AI automatically in there? If so where ? or is it just in the Beta PS?I only need the basics at the moment but want to learn more. I'm not a techy. Thanks
After the latest updat to Photoshop, I get a pop up EVERY TIME I click on a layer mask, it makes no difference if it is a white mask or black mask or one I'm about to use or just making a selection of the mask, EVERY DOG GONE TIME I click on the mask this pop up, pops up. I dismiss it and the next time I touch the layer mask, it pops up again. HOW IN HECK DO YOU SHUT IT OFF so it NEVER pops up again???? This is the annoying and persistent pop up: I can find nothing in the perferences to shut this thing off. Right clicking on it does nothing, no menu to shut it off or anything. What in the heck do you have to do in order to kill this darn thing??? This is crazy...
Workaround found: see my post down belowSteps to reproduce:Open any picture as a pixel layer (not a smart object).Start recording an action, name in "test"Click Filter>Camera Raw Filter, Camera Raw window opens.Press M (switch to Masking), click "Subject", Adjust all Exposure, Highlight, Contrast to max (just to make the effect more visible).Click OK in Camera RAW. Stop recording the 'test' action. The action recorded the Camera Raw filter:Close the picture. Open another (very different) picture.Run the recorded "test" action. You've created duck-shaped correction on a squirrel. xD Actual result: the initial AI mask is hard baked into an action.Expected result: the AI mask feature (Subject, Background, body parts, etc.) are re-detected every time the action runs. Version: Photoshop 25.0, Camera Raw 16.0 and 15.5.1OS: Windows 10, x64

HiI'm having a strange issue that I've only noticed on my laptop, but not my PC. There seems to be some lag when using the brush either with the mouse or my Wacom tablet. I've captured it via a GIF. I've tried resetting everything to Factory Settings, reinstalling Photoshop, turning Smoothing off, and under the brush's settings. My screen's refresh rate is 165Hz, so the mouse is typically fast/smooth. I'm also using an Intel i7 12700H and an RTX 3070. Has anyone encountered this? Or know of a way to sort it? Thanks
Photoshop Version: 26.7.0 (2025)Platform: macOS Sequoia 15.5 (24F74) on Apple M1 MaxMy Core QuestionI've been using Photoshop for over a decade now, and I'm genuinely curious about the fundamental design decision behind transformation workflows. Why does Photoshop require users to "accept" or "commit" transformations instead of applying changes in real-time as you make them?Currently, transformations require an extra step:Clicking the "Done" checkmark in the options barPressing Enter/Return on the keyboardDouble-clicking inside the bounding box The UX Question I'm Wrestling WithFrom a workflow perspective, this extra "commit" step feels redundant to me. When I'm scaling, rotating, or moving an object, I can see the changes happening in real-time. So why the additional confirmation step?Other design software I've used applies transformations immediately as you manipulate objects. You can always undo if you make a mistake, but there's no modal "transformation state" that requires ex

I want to change the color of a dress and shirt in an image without changing the faces or shape
PS CS4I have a PNG image (which also contains transparency). It is an image of an object over a background. (Having the transparency is a nice option should I want to use it, but I don't).In this case, I want to load the PNG and see the object and it's background... NOT the transparency.I can open the PNG in other apps and choose to see the transparency or not... but in PS I can not find how to turn this transparency OFF.How do I turn OFF the transparency and see the image in full (object over background). Thanks!Mike

Hello. I could really use some help here. I need to record and export the exact pixel coordinates (X;Y) of certain images out of Photoshop. I know the coordinates are visible by pressing F8, but copy-pasting them manually one at the time is very time-consuming. Is there a way to automatize the process? Searching around I read about scripts, but I don't think I've seen one to do specifically this. I have no idea how to create one, either >_< Ideally I'd like to be able to save the coordinates when giving an input (so in other words I position my cursor on the pixel that I need, then I press a button, and that automatically exports the coordinates). Preferably exporting them to excel, but a .txt would already be a great start (I think I can handle the .txt to excel conversion quickly enough afterwards). Any help would be greatly appreciated x_x
Hi all, For a new project I want to make the shadow under the car, I made this with a Selection from the Car > Edit > Free Transform. See picture below:
HI, I HAVE A PROBLEM IN PHOTOSHOP, I CAN'T REMOVE THE PIXEL BORDERE ON THE LEFT SIDE AND ON THE TOP SIDE OF THE FILE

Mis archivos nuevos no se están guardando en la nube
I know for what purpose this tool is used. Do you know what is this name imply?
Currently using the automation tool where png, jpg, gifs are automatically exported. This was working fine on my Dell Latitude 3400 series laptop with an Intel 7 Chip (Gifs are exporting)Tried with a Lenovo Yoga with an Intel 9 Chip ( Gifs are not exporting properly - 2 pop up but are 0KB)Tried with a Lenovo P16s with an AMD Ryzen Pro 5 chip (Gifs are not exporting properly - 2 pop up but are 0KB) This is such a random issue and I'm wondering if anybody is having any issues with this. All the devices are on Windows 11.
The popup help for tools and panel items are too helpful. They are annoying and get in the way. I'm constantly swatting them away but they always come back, like mosquitoes. Please provide an option to suppress them, they drive me crazy.

App Version: Adobe Photoshop 26.6 Platform/OS: macOS Sequoia 15.3.2 (MacBook Pro M2 Max) Steps to Reproduce: Open an image. Use the Color Sampler Tool to place a point for monitoring color values. Add a Hue/Saturation adjustment layer. Click and hold the Saturation or Lightness slider and move it with the mouse. Observe the Info panel values for the sampled point.Expected Result:The Info panel should update color values live and continuously as the slider is being moved (without releasing the mouse button), just like in previous Photoshop versions. Actual Result:The Info panel does not update during the slider movement. Values only update after the mouse button is released. This behavior is not present in other adjustment layers like Brightness/Contrast, where the Info panel updates in real time as expected. Why this matters:This regression breaks real-time feedback during color correction, making it impossible to adjust Hue/Saturation accurately based on sampled values. Live In
