Photoshop

I'm having a folder with loads of pictures freshly out of the camera (one RAW and one JPG of each picture).I open up a bunch of RAW files in Camera RAW, do some corrections and open them up in Photoshop. So now I have a whole bunch of tabs with all the RAW images open.What I'd like to do: Create an action to save them one by one as JPG, while overwriting the existing JPG that came out of the camera.Problem 1: When recording the action, I get a "_copy" added to the file name since Photoshop does not allow you to save as JPG without creating a copy anymore. And the existing JPG from the camera is not overwritten.Problem 2: When removing "_copy" in the "save as" dialogue, the existing JPG gets overwritten (which is what I want), but then when I use the action for a second picture, it overwrites the first one, since the file name is the same in the recorded action... Thanks so much if someone could hint me in the right direction! 

I was working on a project and then tried to export it and then it would not let me so I closed out of the project then went and tried to click on the project to see if it works then nothing happen nothing will opening up including all previous projects before that and I can only create new projects.

Hi Denoise feature is not working with my RAW and DNG file in photoshop 2025,  The outputs I get by using denoise is redish in color. attaching two sample image with and without denoise.  Please help to solve this issue.  Thanks 

Salve, è già la 3 volte che provando ad accedere a qualche applicazione, mi da questo codice d'errore in background tra le altre cose ho almeno un'applicazione aperta.Prima volta successomi entrando su after effect, errore, e non sono riuscito ad accedere per ore al programma, avevo però in background aperto sia photoshop che illustratorSeconda volta, avevo aperto photoshop ma non riuscivo ad accedere a illustratorTerza volta, avevo aperto illustator e after, ma impossibile aprire photoshopOvviamente i problemi sono continuanti anche chiudendo tutti i programmi e provando ad utilizzare solo quello che mi dava il codice d'errore.Ho un macbook m2 ultra (onestmanete non so se serva come informazione) ed ovviamente tutte le app sono aggiornate. 

The current selection is the frame of the box, as indicated by the red arrow. How can I select the smart object layer on the right side, as indicated by the green arrow, using JSX script code? I’ve searched many keywords in the forum but couldn’t find an effective solution. I’m posting here for help out of desperation. HiWhen I use the option to remove the green or purple colours often formed against a skyline, I get white/bright rim around the edge of the skyline instead.  I need an option to "content aware fill" this very fine area, where rim  ming exists. (Your sensitive words are driving me mad.  The term here is rim- ming I believe.

I'm honestly very confused at this point, and more than a little frustrated. I come from a Gimp background, and having just finished painstakingly creating a complex selection of part of an image, I expect to be able to border that selection easily. Sure enough I find the Border option in Select > Modify > Border, but upon applying that option I find that it also feathers. Wtf? Why would it do two operations in one? Surely that severely limits its usefulness.Now I'm stuck. I have a complex selection and I just need to border it. THIS SHOULD BE SO EASY. I'm pretty frustrated that something that should be so incredibly simple is requiring me to make a forum post. I actually can't even begin to imagine what the developers were thinking when they decided to add a feather to the border with no option to turn it off.

I have tried everything and am very frustrated. I have. a programmable logitech mouse, loopedeck and I want to download other cool plug ins. I have uninstalled everything, striped the computer of anything adobe, re intstalled Uninstalled all Creative Cloud everything. turned off firewal. Very frustrated. Did other stuff i have not listed because I am so frustrated and bummed.

A paid plug-in ive been using for a long time on photoshop (Shadowify 2) has suddenly disappeared from my workspace and now says "You do not have an app compatible with this plugin installed." when trying to re-install im upset because its something I always used it, I was even using it just a few hours ago. When i try to re-install plug-in it says "Compatible App Required" but everything is up to date. Manually dragging the .ccx plugin file into Photoshops Plug-in folder isnt doing anything either. Is there anything I can do to get my plugins back into photoshop? I use a Mac m1 aswell

For the past few days I've noticed that photoshop cc is making images a lot smaller than they should be. Gyazo - 808954b9bf9820c170ff5a754cfd7cc7.png this is a screenshot of an image that is supposed to be 150x300px at it's actual size. Gyazo - 209ed889e4dd9d3e36e824869c2974d0.png this is the image when uploaded to the internet (chrome at 100%). As you can see not only the size changes but it goes blurred as if it's being stretched. I haven't been in to preferences and I've no idea why! I've tried a few things to no avail, any suggestions?

What in the world is Adobe thinking?Why did they screw up acitons inside Photoshop. Why dumb acitons down to the point that for the most part you are not applying actions, instead you are applying simple one step adjustments and sometimes not even adjustments.Why Adobe?? Do you really think the professionals that use Photoshop want this stupid dumbed-down reimagined actions feature. Why do you have to take what was admittly not a great featue if you use the default actions, but was extemely powerful when creating your own acitons and redesign it as if it's marketing to the general public instead of their customer base. And now it just SUCKS!Adobe stop trying to market to novice, non-profesosinals and get back to supporting the professionals that pay every month for your software.I guess Adobe just has to find someway to screw up their software instead of acutally taking the feadback offered through the years and actually impove on the existing features.

I have placed an embedded image and am trying to select part of it using the lasso tool. I have rasterized the smart object, but it is still not selecting the pixels. Any ideas? Thanks.

I installed Photoshop on to a new laptop (HP Envy Windows)  and the Smart Sharpen tool causes strange horizontal lines across my images.  I have the same programme already installed on other devices with no problems.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled three or four times but the problem remains.

hello, I tried to using the AI with content-aware fill to clean my background. I selected the model, select inverse, content aware, and the result is always different and always bad (messy, not as clean as I would like).   I also tried generative fill, with prompts such as smooth the background, or restore the background, or fill the background.... But it doesn't work, I get the same message,  Here is the message We encountered an issue with your results. Please view our guidelines and try again, or if you think this was an error, Here is the original photo with the model hidden, and the result with generative fill Is someone having the same problem? Any suggestions?  Thank you

basicaly when i open photoshop it opens in task manager but its not open in my main window / monitor, it did this a while ago as well, i uninstalled it and reinstalled it that didnt fix it so i left it for a few days and it worked again but now not at all.the app runs when i run windows in safe mode or analasis mode so i know its not an app issue, its to do with it not playing nice with a windows service, because its still running fine if i enable my app (not microsoft) services but only if i keep bare minimun windows serveces on and most off so im just confused.

So, I experimented a little with a macro lens, taking 6 photos of a flower, and then focus stacking them in Photoshop CC. I was very dissappointed to find that parts of the image is blurred at the edges. Notice for instance around the leaf of the lilly, how there is a space of a few milimeters that is completely blurred. What to do? /Jesper

Buenas, ¿alguien sabe si es posible crear un rostro con relleno generativo y luego usar ese mismo rostro en otra posición, con la cabeza completa? Por ejemplo, tener una imagen mirando al frente y otra con exactamente el mismo rostro, pero de perfil. ¿Se puede lograr? ¿Es posible etiquetar o asignarle un código al rostro para reutilizarlo?

Hello! 😊 Hope everyone’s having an amazing day.I was wondering if anyone could share their Photoshop expertise on the best method or workflow to remove a background while preserving shadows, ensuring that when exported as a PNG, the image remains transparent.Here’s the process I followed so far:I isolated the background and selected the object.I applied a mask to remove the background.Then I duplicated the masked image, inverted the mask, and added a Levels adjustment to isolate and refine the shadow.It works visually in Photoshop, and i can add a background and looks the way i intended, but when I export it as a PNG and bring it into Illustrator, the background still appears white. Any tips or better approaches would be super appreciated! Attached is an example of my steps and layers. Please keep in mind as you probably could have told by my question, i am fairly new to PSD. Thank you

Depois da última atualização do Photoshop começou a aparecer o erro "não foi possível completar o comando dissolver devido a um erro de disco" . Como posso resolver isso, sendo que já reinstalei 2 vezes o Photoshop e não resolveu. I'm running the latest version of PS Mobile on my new iPad Air and when I paint over an area with my Apple Pencil (USB-C version) the red overlay doesn't show until I lift the pencil. This makes it difficult to know exactly what you're "painting" over. Is this the way the brush is supposed to work or am I missing a setting somewhere? Thank you for any help provided.
