Photoshop

My Photoshop (both Beta and normal) stopped working suddenly. They cannot open any single file and i tried so far:- updating all drivers (yeah, graphic card included)- reinstalled all the apps- used the "AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool" to clean literally everything In between all of these i restarted my pc after each operation. The program itself will start but it will remain stuck when trying to open even the smallest jpeg. This book says "Generative Workspace" in the Edit dropdown menu. But there is no such a command in it. How to get it?

I've been using Photoshop for a long time, but since this latest update of Photoshop it seems that they've added snapping to the perspective/skew/free transform i.e.when you hold Ctrl or Alt while dragging the corners of a layer. Maybe it was there before, but now it's been activated by default and for this one particular tool it's a real pain in the ass to work with, as it's typically something where each pixel makes a difference. In most cases I like snapping, but for this tool it hinders more than it helps IMO.I've just tested and found that even after disabling snapping completely it's still doing it. So does anyone know how this feature can be turned off?Cheers

Hi, I have updated to 26.7 and when I try using Generative Expand it either makes Photoshop crash, gives me a black background (no results) or shows an error "scratch disk full”Went back to 25.12.1 and everything works as it should. What am I doing wrong? 

System: New Macbook Pro 16 inch M4 MaxSequoia 15.564GB Ram Photoshop: 26.7.0 Issue:I just newly installed the latest version of Photoshop to my new machine. I was hoping the issue I have had for over a year now would finally be solved but no. There is a FRUSTRATING bug in Photoshop involving clicking and constrained dragging. Here is what I do:- I select an object- I select the pointer tool- I hold the SHIFT key and drag to constrain movement When I drop the object it does not stay in the position it was dragged to. Instead, it simply snaps back to its original position. This also happens if I SHIFT drag with the option key held down to duplicate an object.  This is not a new issue and I am still confused that I cannot get an answer to the issue.

I have almost 100 thousand images that I'll be generating using Data Sets. My Google Sheets pipeline is set and works, but Data Sets only saves out PSDs. How can I use Data Sets and save out Jpegs instead? Each PSD ends up being about 400+MB so I'll have to stop the process every so often just to batch save all the PSDs to JPEGs and delete the PSDs. A waste of time. Is there a Java script that can do the same thing that I need as the built-in Data Set app? I have tried inDesign and Illustrator for Data sets  / Data Merge but it really can't do what photoshop does the way I have my layers (about 20) set up.

Hi There, this one has been bugging me for a while - anyone know how to fix? Title says it all, with a brush selcted, option click now sets the background colour insted of the freground colour - the eyedropper tool itself has always worked this way but not the brush tool. Does anyone know how to get the previous behvior? It now takes extra clicks. Any help much apprecitaed. Cheers, Ben

Hi everyone, since I bought a new MacBook, I installed the latest version of Photoshop, and the "Merge a copy of all visible layers into target layer" action with the famous Command, Option, Shift + E stopped working.It still works perfectly on my other iMac, and it also worked on my previous MacBook, but on my new MacBook, when I press the usual keys, nothing happens. I installed and uninstalled. I spoke to support (they told me the craziest things, like my plan didn't access that keyboard option, haha).I installed an older version. NOTHING. All the other keyboard shortcuts work, except for this one. I read in another post that they talk about another app that could be hijacking my keyboard shortcuts, but I booted into Safe Mode and it doesn't work either. What do you think it could be? I'm not the only person this happens to, I've spoken to other colleagues (I'm a photographer) and they're having the same problem.This option isn't in the menu to select it, is it? Any i

I just want to fill in the black areas on the image with red, but neither Fill in New Layer nor Fill in Selection will work. I read tutorial but I couldn't.  Please help me. BTW, I use 'Photo shop 2025' and adove creative cloud.I also use Mac book air recent version.

Il me semble que c'est arrivé avec la dernière version de Photoshop, la 26.7.0Quand je crée un nouveau doc, la galerie de filtres est accessible.J'ai importé mon calque sur le nouveau doc, et à nouveau, la galerie de filtres est grise.En revanche, ça fonctionne si je fractionne le calque importé.Un problème avec la saturation du disque de travail?Je sèche.Quelqu'un aurait une idée?Par avance, merci.

Shift+Command+Option+E = Merge a copy of all visible layers into target layer - doesnt working anymore!in Photoshop previous versions worked normally! I allready reset keyboard shortcuts - no effect. 

Hi adobe community, I have an issue with using sliders (any slider, for example the brush size slider or hue/saturation sliders) in Photoshop CC while using my Wacom Cintiq 22hd and the pen. There's a small delay before the slider registers that I have moved the cursor, and instead of gradually changing the values it stays frozen for a short while and then jumps to a new value.So for example, let's say I right click on the canvas to bring up my brush meny and want to increase my brush size from 30 to 60 by dragging the slider. Normally the values would change in a fluent, linear fashion as I start dragging; going from 30 to 31, 32, 33 etc. However, when I start dragging the slider using my wacom pen it stays frozen on 30 for a short while (0.3-0.5 seconds) and then jumps to a new value. This only happens with the wacom pen. If I use the mouse to drag a slider it works as intended. Hope this makes sense.The issue seems to be related to Windows Ink, because when I disable it th

I have an image of an old photograph that I would like to make striaght. Is there a quick and easy way to make a "flatten" a curled photograph? Somethiing like the Puppet Warp tool but perhaps using the pen tool to follow the curled outline and then making it flat. Hard to explain, please see images for example. (I have blurred out subject for privacy). Woudl like to make the red line become the straight blue line, if that makes sense! Thanks!    

There are two ways to get levels. -From Adjustment Layers -By pressing Ctrl + L   What is the different between these two?        

I recently upgraded to Adobe CC, and when I place a PNG file into any Photoshop file, the image is distorted (see below). I read another forum that suggested that the "Use Graphic Processor" option should be unchecked. I did that, but unfortunately, it did not resolve the problem. What is also strange is that the little pieces of photos the are visible in the image are from several different recent projects but have nothing to do with the PNG I'm trying to open. I'm using a mac. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
