Photoshop

Hi, I am using the Automate > Batch command and an Action to batch convert a number of images.  Is there ANY WAY to get it to save in the output folder with the original file name?  With so many images to batch convert, going in and renaming the output files back to the original file name is a PITA!   I tried to google search but didn't find a definitive answer.  My current action uses the SAVE command I beleive, and I have read that if you use Save As or Save for Web you can achieve original file naming but haven't seen it confirmed.   Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.  I have attached a copy of the action steps if that is helpful.

Hello! I am new to using photoshop, been learning it for the past month. Recently, while exploring the default fonts that come with it pre installed (I am yet to download/add any font to photoshop) I noticed 2 fonts in the decorative section, namely  "ROG Fonts Regular" and "ROG Fonts STRIX SCAR Regular" make my photshop freeze and crash without fail whenever i select them, and if i hover over them (without selecting) the font selection dialog box closes to show a message saying "Selected font failed during last operation. If problem persists, please disable the font."  I dont know if these 2 fonts are default fonts for everyone or just users like me (who own an Asus/ROG Laptop) but I would like to know if this is a kind of problem faced by others in the latest update (I never checked this in older versions) and/or how can I remove or disable those 2 fonts.  Any advice appreciated. Thank You!

I turned off "Auto Show the Home Screen" and I still get this:How do I get rid of it?

What's the deal with this UI? Every update just makes it worse. Menus hidden behind menus, basic functions impossible to find. Gets worse and worse! 

I'm having a hard time organzing many, many photoshop actions. There seems to be something called "set" but nowhere can I find how to see the difference between an Action and an Action Set. I often download/buy actions, they too could be one or the other. When I creat a new action set from the menu, and then try to drag such actions (groups?) into the set, they simply change places/order, but no "nesting"occurs.For example: I have several actions to help me create vectorized/line art/drawings from photographs. The actions names vary enourmously, so I just want one "container" within the actions panel for all of them.I hope I've made myself clear, as googling this subject has left me almost empty handed.

I can no longer open raw photos in PS 2025 because they open in a partial raw window which hangs and I can't then get PS to see the photo. I have spent hours updating everything but nothing works.

The patch tool used to be next to the healing brush tool, but it's no longer there. How do I enable it again?

Hi there.I am editing these pictures and I was messing around with the gradient map. I've used it before and never encountered this issue before. When previewing the gradient map, the image looks completely different compared to when the map is actually applied, whether this is done to a rasterized image or a smart object.This is the image in the preview.This is the image after applying.I have other examples too if needed. Can anyone help me find a way to achieve exactly what I have in the preview? Thank you.- Tibi

I looked in the Actions folder and there aren't any by the name of my actions. There should be several by the name of sky replacements      

After I updated both Lightroom Classic to v9.2  and Photoshop to 2020, when I open PS I get a message "Your Lightroom Library is Empty". The message goes on to suggest I may installed Lightroom on my desktop. Wouldn't my recent update of these two programs provide them both with the common knowledge that I already have Lightroom installed? OK, so after digging around the internet I am now aware that this message refers to a library of photos in the cloud. No, I have no photos in the cloud. I do not intend to use the cloud for the foreseeable future. I prefer software that knows that I will be working with the assets locally, rather than with assets located on the internet. How may I politely ask Photoshop 2020 to stop sending me this irrelevant message? Or, is there a way that photoshop could open to a different screen? Or would Adobe consider making the message more relevant to the fact that it is looking for a connection to photos stored on the cloud?

HalloIch benutze PS CC sonst nur zur Fotobearbeitung.Heute habe ich ein MP4 Video geschnitten und einen Soundtrack mit einer MP3-Audiodatei hinzugefügt.Der Ton ist aktiviert, Ton und Video sind gleich lang. In der Vorschau sehe ich das Video, höre aber keinen Ton - auch nicht nach dem Rendern als fertiges Video. Ein weiteres, fertiges Video mit Ton wird auch nur Stumm wiedergegeben. Dadurch stelle ich fest, mein PS CC spielt überhaupt keinen Ton ab. Wo ist mein Fehler? Vielen Dank

These two are the same images. In one image surrounding building is appllied blur effect and in other image person is in the blur effect. Which is correct to show person is in the motion?  

Attempted to download more brushes (Get more Brushes) and I can't get past the "Sign in to download" even though I'm signed in.Adobe Photoshop | Download exclusive brushes from Kyle T. Webster I've had several remote tech support people attempt to help and they can sign in with their account and see the brushes. I have a new cintiq pro 24 I'm running PScc on, and I've tried logging in on other computers to get more brushes and still the problem persists. Can't figue this out. I think its something on Adobe's end. I've downloaded the brushes in the past on other units.  Can't figure this out.

Hi all, wondering if you can help me.What I have done is created an image 14000x14000 pixels, but when I try to import an image that is 2100x2100 pixels, it stretches the image to fot the whole the canvas.This is not what I want to happen at all, I really want the image to remain at the correst size when I drag and drop an image in, so I don't have to keep resizing the thing.  As this is just addding so much time on to what I am traying to do.So, is there an option I can click or change that will stop the images being resized ever time a drag and drop an image in?

I am currently experiencing an issue with the Neural Filters in Adobe Photoshop. A few days ago, I noticed that whenever I attempt to access the Neural Filters panel, it appears blank, with no filters displayed. I am unsure of the cause, as all other features within the application are functioning normally.I would appreciate any assistance or guidance regarding this matter.Thank you.
