Photoshop’s Pattern Preview feature is great for Surface Pattern Designers… but is NEEDS the ability to create half drop repeat patterns… Affinity Designer has it, Photoshop NEEDS it!

As an artist, I want nothing to do with generative AI features or credits which are automatically added to my account. They are costly in terms of money and of the environment and as much as I enjoy using Photoshop, I want no part in that. Allow users to opt out of everything generative AI-related.

Once we have a new working folder on your hard drive, all future "save as..." in Photoshop will need to propose this new path as a priority. This would save us from having to retrace the entire path to make a "save as..." until Photoshop assimilates it. 

The Displace filter is extremely useful, but the methodology and interface feel super clunky and outdated.Having to create and reference an entirely separate PSD for the displacement map feels needlessly tedious and convoluted. There are already several other filters and effects in Photoshop that allow you to reference a layer (or layer mask) within the document, and Displace would greatly benefit from the same. This would help to streamline things and keep everything self-contained.Some kind of live preview would also be extremely useful, so we can avoid the endless trial and error that comes with the current version. Maybe even add a slider to adjust the fidelity of the map, similar to what happens when you blur the map currently.

Having an option to stop all generative ai options so we can use photoshop as it was meant to be. We want photoshop without worry.

Request: Allow Text Labels Next to Icons in the Adjustments PanelI am writing to request a customization option for the Adjustments panel in Photoshop. Currently, the panel forces a choice between a compact grid of icons without text labels, or hiding the tools behind a dropdown list / preset menu.Please allow us to customize the Adjustments panel so we can display both the icon and its title simultaneously, as in previous versions.Having to hover over every icon to find a specific adjustment—or rely on a dropdown list—adds unnecessary friction. Hiding these essential tools behind extra clicks creates a real barrier as the saying “out of sight, out of mind” requires me to continually have to search the web for where these functions are located. I have been using Photoshop for almost 8 years, relying on it heavily for critical monthly projects. For users who know the software well but aren't in it every single day, removing text labels adds an unnecessary layer of complexity to a famili

Any Adobe product is the slowest software I use.  Just opening it takes 30 seconds or more.  This is impossibly slow… what could you be even doing with this time?  Fix it.  Stop doing whatever it is you think you need to do.  I just want to edit my images.

It would be great to be able to i.e. connect a mask to different layers on an image. I imagine a seperate window that shows all the layers of an image where the user has the ability to connect certain layers to different inputs to a certain layer. This way you could use one mask to connect to multiple layers that don’t need to be stacked or grouped, and you would be able to change just one mask with simply affecting multiple parts of a complex comp.This could obviously work with any type of overlays, noises and so forth like in a material editor of blender/c4d.

In Adobe Illustrator and InDesign, we can double-click the bottom handle (or corner) of an Area/Paragraph Text frame to instantly snap and auto-fit the box height to the last line of text.It would be amazing to bring this exact same behavior and shortcut consistency to Photoshop. Currently, when working with Paragraph Text, we have to click and manually drag the bottom edge up to meet the text, which slows down the layout workflow. Having a quick double-click to auto-shrink the bounding box to fit the content would be a huge time-saver.

Not only photoshop, all of softwares by adobe.Many artists who using adobe products don't want to using & supporting generative ai at all.we have rights to opt-out from these things like generative ai tools in software, unwanted ads and nofitications.

I would like to add additional colors besides having foreground and background. Maybe I could name them what I wanted to. Maybe Foreground, Lighting, Shadow, Background.

Ideally, I would like the option to go into settings and change the angle by any amount per click and put it on my mouse.

Holding down the Shift key while using the Crop Tool in Photoshop should override any Crop Ratio like “1:1 (Square)” that is set.   Just let me drag the box out to the size I want with out needing to Clear the crop ratio.   I waste way to much time clearing the crop ratio, because I want to make the canvas wider, or what ever.   Then I have to set the crop ratio again.  I don’t care which key is used.  Shift or Alt.   Cntl is already used for some thing. 

Regardless of what format the image is you’re working on in Photoshop, when it comes to ‘save as’ I would like it be shot jpg every time as the first choice so I don’t have to scroll to an option. This would save seconds every time. Not much to ask for a simple option.

Could work like "layer cleanup" tool where you can delete all hidden layers at once. Instead this links all unlinked masks at once so when you resize things and realize something is unlinked, you don't have to hunt for which layer it is. 

Photoshop/Firefly does a respectable job with faces behind flat panes of glass. But it has no idea what to do with a face behind a curved glass surface (car windows). I understand how the algorithm works, and why it failed, but if Firefly were a genie...

I’ve never understood why the Native Properties Panel doesn’t allow users to adjust the Pixel Layer and Layer Mask property sliders within the same tab. When working with high-volume projects where efficiency and retouching speed is key, being able to skip having to manually click on the layer mask to adjust its feathering non-destructively is a massive pain. The Properties Panel already makes poor use of the amount of space it takes up. There is lots of dead space and area there to use.Users should have the option/choice to condense both tabs (Pixel Layer + Layer Mask) into one to save time.

I absolutely love the new gradient tool, being able to adjust the gradient after applying. I think my earliest experience in Adobe Photoshop is version 2. Long time. My single frustration is selecting the basic gradients,foreground color to background color foreground color to transparent transparent to background colorCurrently, I have to click the gradient, then reopen the “basic gradients” folder. I wish these 3 options, or even the first two were shown as default options in the tool bar. Having to open the folder adds more clicks when most everything else I do I know the key commands for. It is so rare I look for some fancier gradient from the libraries. There are a few awesome ones like spectrum that save a lot of time customizing. I use the basic gradients all day. 

can anyone tell me if there is a way to get open tabs in photoshop to simply resisze themselves (the same way that open tabs in a browser do) so that they all fit visibly on the screen? or at least you should be able to just swipe easily left and right on the track pad to move them over to see what is off the screen instead of messing with that tiny little arrow thing to pull up the little dropdown list. this screenshot below shows what i'm talking about, the tabs indicating each open image don't resize when others are opened so they are never all visible at once, which would make them so much easier to manage.  it would necesarrily append the text/title of each tab, but browsers have already normalized this, you can just hover the cursor over the tab and it will tell you what is beneath, but you can't do that when the tab is no longer even physically on the screen as is the case currently.  maybe there is already a way to turn on this behavior, but if not it would

Subscription services are gutting most of us. This year’s renewal will cost the entire profit of one of my two freelance jobs this year. Although new tools and features are nice, I can get by on older versions of the software for a while until I can afford the new version. Maybe once my work really takes off and this is a full time job, a subscription can be baked into the overhead. 

I’ve just purchased a small Cintiq 16 and I’ve noticed that on my Mac I am loosing quite a bit of vertical space to an unnecessary bar of information. The PS application name is duplicated here along with the Mac traffic light system window buttons. I have attached a visual of what I propose, which in my opinion is far more focussed. I would be most grateful if the Photoshop development team (wider team) could look at this as either an update or an alternative Screen Mode.  

EVERY tool that uses brushes should get the "right click" quick/hover menu like the original "brush tool". This would definitely speed up workflows and optimize UX!Current state: In order to e.g. change brush size, you have to, depending on the tool, use different ways to select and edit size, feather etc. And lots of these only work in the menu bar. This is not only annoying but tedious to use.Instead every tool should have a similar quick/hover menu when right clicking the canvas like the brush tool does. Of course it needs to be tool agnostic to adapt and only show whatever changes are possible for brushes with the active tool. So it always shows size, but depending on the tool also tip shape, feather, all or only certain presets. etc.And why stop there? Add transparency, flow, etc to the quick menu as well. Even if these are only toggleable extensions so the menu can be as wide or long as the user likes,

Increase the AI credit limit from 250 to 500 per month or at least allow the ability to buy extra credits without having to sign up for an extra monthly fee

This feature will provide the ability to increase/decrease the layer thumbnail size inside of the layers panel for an improved way to preview details). They are currently very small and difficult to view details inside of them.
