While having the extensive list of file type available on Photoshop is impressive, for those of us users who only use a few saving a file becomes a constant hunt to the right one. Often, if you miss your choice you get a file saved in the worng format and have to do it again. Creating a option that just hides (not deletes) file type you don’t use would make your program much more convieniant. I use maybe 3 or 4 file types so hunting through a long list is very annoying.
Hello,I am very dissatisfied with your new subscription plans.I recently realized that the increase in my subscription price, which I thought was justified by the AI features in Photoshop Beta, and which amounts to an extra €6 per month, is actually not paying for the AI services at all.Let me be clear: I will never spend a single cent on an AI that never understands anything. You expect users to pay for AI credits—if it can even be called an AI—when it is incapable of doing even the simplest tasks. For example, the last time I tried to use it, I asked it to fill a hole in a bride's wedding dress train. The result? The AI simply removed the entire train.Even without entering any prompt, your AI just removes the train altogether.Even though it offers three different variations, all three are practically identical, making them completely unusable. And yet you have the nerve to charge users for credits for something that almost never works and constantly misunderstands what is being asked? As

I have a maybe a good idea regarding selling stock photos by photographers like myself.I sell my photography work to Adobe Stock, among others. If I need a description of a photo, I currently always consult Google Lens on my smartphone and take a screenshot of my screen to be able to provide a good description of the photo. This is very cumbersome for me, and I think for many photographers as well.Is it a good idea to add such a search function to Photoshop/Lightroom?
Earlier today Photoshop updated and added advertisements for new “features” to the front page. I pay you money. I should not have to scroll past advertisements for features I neither want nor use to get to my own files interface. I don’t want to have to disable the welcome screen entirely, I want it to be functional again. These should be optional. Add a toggle for them.
Tile wrap texture drawing for tiling textures. It would be a killer feature for anyone working in gamedev. Now ppl need to do it in either Zbrush (wrap mode), or Blender, or basically launch Designer. But for hand-drawn textures having ability to draw in Photoshop on the edges of canvas with tiling enable, would be an amazing feature for indie game studios, but not only. Please consider. You already have symmetry tools that works great, so just pls make tiling drawing available as well.
I'm incredibly frustrated with Adobe. I've been using Photoshop CC 2018 since likely 2018 and recently Adobe made it so I could no longer use the software despite my subscription. Instead of opening the app, it gives me the option for a trial version of Photoshop CC 2018. Adobe support told me there was nothing they could do to fix this aside from updating the software or pirating it. The person I spoke to literally told me I should try pirating the software when I asked if that was the only way to use an older version of the software. I'm extremely frustrated because the latest version of Photoshop has ridiculous spec requirements. Photoshop 2018 only needed a minimum of 2gigs of RAM and recommended 8 gigs of RAM. The latest version of Photoshop needs a minimum of 8 gigs of RAM but recommends 16 gigs of RAM. This is getting ridiculous. I primarily used Photoshop for editing, color balance, and text. I do not need any of the new features nor do I want any of the generative AI crap
It's 2022, how is it not possible to have a feature that allows you to draw a straight line on Photoshop? The free sketchbook app has one
Ability to sort layers in alphabetical order. This is helpful if you have numerous layers and want to organize the layers.
Let us rename the RAW file in the smart object, that's it!I've spent hours chatting with adobe agents on this subject with no result on what should be a relatively simple function. The smart object is not linked so I should be able to name it whatever I want without consequences to my work and/or workflow. thanks
Often, work involves a file with several artboards or more (like one job I had 100 artboards) and would be great to be able to right click on an artboard layer and select View Artboard and my screen goes to that artboard. Saves time zoom panning to find it. TY!
Hello Adobe Photoshop Team,I would like to report a regression affecting the Quick Mask and Generative Fill workflow used to create watercolour, oil-painting and other generative art effects.Adobe previously demonstrated this workflow using Quick Mask to create an intensity-based selection, followed by Generative Fill through the Contextual Task Bar:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4THG0IPx9hchttps://www.adobe.com/learn/photoshop/web/create-art-styles-generative-fillWorkflow that previously workedOpen an image in Photoshop. Enter Quick Mask Mode. Fill the mask with a controlled percentage of grey to determine the strength of the generative transformation. Exit Quick Mask Mode to convert the mask into a selection. Use Generative Fill from the Contextual Task Bar. Enter a prompt such as “watercolour painting” or “oil painting.”This produced highly useful painterly interpretations while retaining the composition and visual structure of the original image.Current problemIn newer Photoshop u
Please can we have a colour picker in the neural filtre that adds colour to a black and white (technically grey scale) image. It would make the whole process a lot easier if we could choose a very specific colour to add manually to a section of a photograph, if the neural filtre doesn’t quite achieve the desired result by itself.
Add 9-Slice Scaling to Photoshop CS6. This would be hugely beneficial, especially with the advancements made with the shape tools.
what if you could save as .ico and .icl and .cur file with photoshop with advanced option like saving for web..... and have posiblity to save several version 32 bit 48x48.... and better brush and pattern gradiant manager
I frequently use the Remove Tool to make multiple selections across an image. Currently, when the tool encounters a processing or rendering error, the Photoshop engine performs a total rollback. As a result, the pink overlay selection completely disappears, forcing me to start the entire selection process from scratch. While processing errors can happen due to hardware or memory spikes, losing the selection work is incredibly frustrating and hurts the workflow efficiency. My request: Please update the Remove Tool's behavior so that if a processing error occurs, the pink overlay/mask remains on the screen instead of being wiped out. This would allow users to simply modify their selection or try processing it again without losing their progress.
Hi Adobe Team,I am writing to express my strong frustration regarding the latest Adobe Camera Raw updates (v18.4 / v18.4.1). [1, 2]With the latest update, the automatic limitation feature for mass automation/batch processing was completely removed or broken. Because of this regression, I was forced to manually limit and process hundreds of images individually, which completely ruined my high-volume workflow and cost me hours of manual labor. [1]Due to this severe limitation, I had to uninstall the latest version and downgrade back to version 18.3.2 just to keep my daily business running. Batch automation is a core requirement for professional photographers, and removing or breaking this automation constraint makes the plugin unusable for mass editing. [1, 2]Please treat this as a critical bug or regression and restore the automatic limitation for batch workflows in the next patch.System Environment:Previous Working Version: v18.3.2 Broken Version: v18.4 / v18.4.1 Windows 11 Thank you,
Add right-click or Transform options bar commands such as:Fit to Canvas — scale proportionally to fit within canvas bounds Fill Canvas — scale proportionally to fully cover the canvas Stretch to Canvas — scale non-proportionally to exactly match canvas width & heightThis would be a huge time-saver for compositing, mockups, and batch workflows.Currently, Free Transform (Ctrl+T) treats the layer's own size as 100%, so there's no quick way to scale it to the canvas. We have to manually calculate percentages or type in the canvas dimensions in pixels. Premiere Pro already offers convenient Scale to Frame Size / Set to Frame Size commands — Photoshop needs the same!
The latest version of Photoshop has made Actions significantly less useful. You can no longer go into the individual recorded steps and make changes to them after the Action has been created. Why would Adobe remove or break such a basic part of the Actions workflow? The whole point of Actions is that you can record a process, then adjust specific steps without having to delete everything and record the entire Action again. This update has made Actions more rigid, slower to work with, and much more frustrating for anyone processing large batches of files. Please restore the ability to open, edit, and modify individual Action steps.
I think the title says it all, it’s incredibly silly that clicking the mouse wheel does nothing.I also clicked the “edit” on the title when writing this and it erased the couple of paragraphs I wrote about how functionally useful it would be. Maybe fix that too 👍
Hi Adobe Photoshop Team,I am writing to request a feature update to the Hue/Saturation adjustment layer panel. Please add a dedicated Orange option to the master dropdown menu, matching the functionality found in Lightroom’s Color Mixer and Camera Raw.Currently, Photoshop users must manually adjust the sliders for Reds or Yellows to target orange tones. This is a common bottleneck for skin tones, autumn landscapes, and sunset photography.Proposed Implementation:Add "Oranges" to the Hue/Saturation dropdown menu (Master, Reds, Yellows, Greens, Cyans, Blues, Magentas). Set the default color picker range for the Orange channel to sit precisely between Red and Yellow. This small integration would bridge a major workflow gap between Lightroom and Photoshop, creating a more unified and efficient editing experience across the Creative Cloud.Thank you for your time and continuous improvements to the software.Best regards,Ike Veneris
As long as I’ve been using Photoshop (since Version 4), I have struggled with finding the cursor on light areas of an image. Since upgrading to a 4K display, the cursor has become, for all intents and purposes, essentially invisible when editing a white or light gray area on a UHD screen. The limited setting choices in Preferences/Cursor are of no use. Windows has had the ability since 3.1 to set the cursor size and shape, including inversing the arrow to black over a white background and white over a dark or black area of the screen. It’s nearly impossible to even select an area of the image with the rectangle or round tools as the cursor just disappears in the light background. I’m trying to edit an image with large areas of gray and white in order to smooth them out by selecting and copying decent areas of the image, but here I am, at 3:59 a.m. cursing the cursor out loud. Just so you know what I’m experiencing, I double dare you to find the cursor in this screenshot from my system:
It would be nice to have some better tool to change Grid settings easily (any extra panel, section in Options panel etc.), not just in Preferencies.
Currently, in Photoshop, the only way to clean up the "Recents" home screen is to clear the entire recent files history (File > Open Recent > Clear Recent File List). There is no way to target and remove just one specific file from the list. The Feature Idea: I would like to request the ability to remove individual files from the "Recent" list (whether they are stored locally or in the Creative Cloud) without actually deleting the physical file from the disk or cloud storage. How it could work: Simply add a small "X" icon (or a "Remove from Recents" option in a right-click context menu) on the corner of each file thumbnail/list item on the Home screen. Clicking it would immediately hide that specific file from the active Recents list. Why this is important: * Privacy: If we are working on a confidential project or presenting our screen to a client, we might want to hide a specific project from the home screen without losing our entire search history or other active projects.
