I'm at my wits end. Something that does not seem to be addressed in the couple years this issue has been around… Something MANY others, including myself, have been experiencing…Unable to print in PS. When we go to print, PS says that a printer has not been selected, and more specifically, "There was an error opening your printer". Well, that’s [cursing removed]. Printing works fine in all the other Adobe, MS, et al, applications. Just not PS. My situation is on Win10 1909, PSCC 2020. Attempting to print to HP, EPSON, and other printers.Everything worked fine until PSCC 2019, thereabouts.In Googling the issue, there has been a plethora of suggestions; Delete settings PSP file, Modify the registry to include MAX memory, holding Spacebar on Print to reset preferences, updating/verifying a current printer driver, changing default printer, uninstalling Windows updates, etc…Some of those suggestions seem to fix some folks, but there are many others, like myself, where none of those “fixes” d

There is only one word in the image, the files are very small, some letters are a little faded, the text does not have a font, it is written with a drawing, how can I go over this text and create a higher quality version?

Hi, I was working on a promotional poster and I got to a good point and saved the document to the cloud in photoshop. A few minutes later I wanted to change something on the poster but when I launched PS it said the file wasnt compatible. I didnt update my photoshop and I saved it to the cloud and I still see it there. When i go to download the file from the cloud it doesn't work it just sits on "loading". I was wondering if anybody knew a solution or a way to recover the file. When i try to open the file in the web it doesnt work but it does open in fresco where you can see the poster. please help!!!

I updated both Photoshop (version 26.5) and Photoshop Beta (version 26.6) to the latest versions yesterday on my Mac (running Sequoia OS 15.3.2), and now I'm unable to open files from Lightroom (version 8.2, cloud version) in Photoshop. I've tried multiple times, and while the Photoshop app opens, the file doesn't export to either the standard or beta versions of Photoshop. Have you encountered similar issues? Is there a Lightroom update expected soon? I’d prefer to avoid having to uninstall and reinstall the programs if possible. 

I am trying to use the crop tool but it appears to be missing from the toolbar on the left.  I have Photoshop CS6 and I simply can't work out how to find the tool.  Can someone help me out please?

Hello,I'm in a process of making assets for Unity3D engine and I'm making transparent png's with alpha channels premultiplied with black. My questions:To this day I've been using superPNG plugin to add alpha channel because it was really hard to find option to do it in Save As... menu. Today very very accidentally I've found Export -> Render Video where I can choose PNG and premultiplication. Am I doing something wrong or is it the proper Photoshop way to export png via video function? It seems really hidden!I can do the same for TIFF, PICT(i suppose no pict for me because its pure mac extension?), and tga format with one black layer and ticking Alpha Channels box, but its somehow greyed out for PNG? Why is that?I think its some kind of inconsistency, or am I missing something?Thank You for your time,Peter

I've been creating and using custom actions for years, which I use to speed up my client work.  They save me significant time, and have been solid over the past decade. Yesterday I found that I had to reinstall photoshop. When I launched it, all of my actions were gone. These were actions I imported at some point, from older .atn files, but those .atn files were long gone. All of the Adobe documentation tells you how to back up your .atn files before reinstalling photoshop, and how to import those, which is the same as it's been. but if you do not have access to those original .atn files, there is no documentation about how to recover the actions.  But you can. And I did. Here's what I did. (I'm using a mac)On your drive, in Users/username/library/Preferences there are folders for all of the versions of photoshop you've had installed on that machine. Adobe Photoshop 2021 SettingsAdobe Photoshop 2022 SettingsAdobe Photoshop 2023 SettingsAdobe Photoshop 2024

Na minstens 8 x Photoshop er af gegooid en er weer opnieuw opgezet te hebben, met de intentie om de taal interface over te zetten van Engels naar Nederlands, uiteindelijk de moed maar opgegeven. Zelfs na hulp van Chat GPT, kwam ik er niet uit. Wie weet de juiste weg te bewandelen. Ik werk met macOS en de laatste versie van Photoshop 26.5.0alvast dank voor een reactie.ari 

When running the crop command as a recorded action in the latest versions of Photoshop (25.12) and Photoshop Beta (25.13) on Windows the crop handles are missing and reposisioning is sluggish. The crop tool works as expected when not run as an action.

I attached the details of the crash through Error Send.I tried installing 2025 as a trial, and I also changed it to image processing's fast -> stable, which many users said was the solution. (As far as I know, stable is an option arising from a year-long error in select subject to avoid a crash from gpu processing. cpu processing)However, both options are too slow compared to previous versions, and Crash occurred. (Actually Crash in Remove Tool also happens in 25.12. The computer just turns off, not just Crash. So before you use Remove Tool, you should always be nervous and press Ctrl+S to save psd).Of course, my driver is a studio driver, and it's the latest version of 565.90.I would like Photoshop to provide features that can actually be used reliably.Of course, I know there will be people who use it without errors.But since this is a bug reporting tab, I don't need to make unnecessary comments like no problem. I don't know if this is fixed in the current beta.  

Hi,I keep getting the message that my scratch disks are full. However, when I go to Edit > Purge, the only option I have is Video Cache, the rest are grayed out. The forums tell me that means that everything is already deleted. I clicked Purge Video Cache, but I still receive the message that my scratch disks are full and I can't find a solution to this here on the forums.I use a Macbook Pro, if that helps, and I just updated Photoshop to the most recent update.

Anyone know how to get an old Photoshop Beta version back? I removed 25.4 and now I'm stuck because 26.0 won't work on my PC

How do i get my toolbars to show up in front of my projects? When i select the brush and try to select a brush size at the top the menu box opens behind my floating projects.

Since the last update - to version 26.5, photoshop wont open any of the new files that i save. Ive tried saving them in different locations on the disk, and on different disks, and still wont work.  Also noticed that the text tool will not allow me to create any new text layers.I get the same alert window every time.Working on a macbook pro, updated to the latest version of Sonoma.

so out of the blue photoshop has decided to completly restart pc every time i use it. after opening the app and using for about 2 min the pc completely shuts down with no warning like its being unplugged and then turns back on. its a strong gaming pc with lots of storage memory etc, thats what makes it really wierd. i can run any game no matter how demanding but i cant use photoshop. ive tryed different ways to fix it but nothing has worked. It cant be overheating over anythign like that because ive check the temps and they are all fine. ive reinstalled, tryed studio driver, wtahced numerous tutorials, made it administrator, updated evrything on my pc, i also recently did a hard reset on my pc so its really fresh. i also cant open ps within adobe cloud idk what that abt. please help if u can i have no idea what i should do.

I have a trial version of Adobe Plan Lr+Ps with a monthly payment and an annual commitment. I read somewhere that the desktop version of Ps only works 99 days a year without an internet connection. Is this true and is this my case? If so, I would cancel the subscription during the trial period. Thanks  for the answer.

Drop down pop up is UNDER the photo instead of behind it. I shouldn't have to move the photo to see the drop down box, right??   This problem is coming from Beta release, and ADOBE team did not fix it, insted now bring it to oficial release. I've been browsing through this forum trying to find a solution to this problem, but haven't succeeded. My brush keeps reverting back to my regular laptop cursor and won't allow me to draw/paint/use my brush. I've tried resetting my tools, updating my tablet and checking my stylus sensitivity, but haven't had any luck. Sorry if this is an obvious fix, but I'm genuinely stumped and haven't found anything that might help me.
