Hello My Lasso Tool no longer selects what I draw it to select. A lot of the time it just selects some random circle in the area that I draw, if that. Oftentimes it will tell me that I didn't select anything at all. My Photoshop version is 26.4.1My platform is Mac and my OS is Ventura 13.7.4

Hi there, I am working on creating an automated solution for processing website e-commerce product photos. Basically I’ll have a top down image of a product and a side profile image of the same product which are taken on two different cameras. These images will then be in two separate folders. From those image folders, I need the top down image and the side profile image to be imported into photoshop, stacked on each other and the top image aligned to the top of canvas and the bottom image aligned to the bottom of the canvas and then exported as one image. Does anyone know how I can use a script to automate this process so that I can do this with 200 images at a time? Example is attached.Thanks! 

All the tools Bar the top frozen after using the liquefy tool more than two times so I have to completely restart the program but it doesn't help and happens again.I have MacBook Pro 15-inch 2019Graphics Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MBMemory 16 Gb 2400 MHz DDR4macOS Srquoia 15.4 photoshop - latest versionI've been told I have to replace my Mac with the newer version - but this is not exciting! How to fix it? I am properly paying for my Photography account and cannot switch my computer as it is still in perfect condition!Help!

I have not been able to use the Perspective Warp tool for quite some time now. My need for it finally brought me here. Is this a Graphics Processor issue? Is there any fix other than buying a new PC? 

Generative Fill extend almost similar type of image. But this is comes like this. How to fix it? PNG file also attached. 

The smart object layer successfully replaces the content with succ.png, but an error occurs when using error.png, as shown in the image.Are there any size limitations for the replacement image? I am using a script to perform the replacement, and I would like to have precise rules to define these limitations. 

Hello, Adobe Community,I've been encountering a recurring issue with Adobe Photoshop (version 26.5.0). The application crashes frequently with the error EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (code 0xc0000005).I’ve attached crash logs for reference. I am running Photoshop CC on my MacBook Air with macOS Sierra. Every time I attempt to open Photoshop through any means, the following message appears: "Could not initialize Photoshop because the scratch disks are full", and Photoshop does not open. I tried clearing space from my Mac in general including several GB worth of apps and removing several cache files, but nothing seems to work. I also tried holding down the command and option keys to reveal the Scratch Disk Preferences, and it lets me select the Startup and MacIntosh HD. Again, nothing worked. Anyone know how to fix this message, and/or clear scratch disk space?   {Moderator note: Edited the thread title PS-65057}

Hello, The right click rasterize on smart object doesn't work anymore. I used to just slide a photo in photoshop tap it with my brush and transform it into a rasterized layer. If I tap with the brush now it automatically creates a new layer and right clicking on the Smart Object doesn't have any Rasterize options either, now instead I need to go to layer -> Rasterize -> Smart Object, which is a hugh inconvinience and takes a lot of time.I figured this changed happened because of a new update, so is there any way to turn the old way back on? Or is there a faster way to rasterize a smart object instead of going through the layer menu every time?Kind Regards,René

This was such a big deal for me, and I very nearly missed it tucked away half way down this old thread from the days when our old friend JJMack was still posting.  It has annoyed me for years that FT Step & Repeat pretty much never works with Smart Objects.  There is a video tucked away near the bottom with a workaround that actually works.  The video over-complicates it a tiny bit, creating an extra layer that I found is not needed.   Starting with a Smart Object. New Smart Object via Copy. Rasterize the SO via Copy and do the first Transform. Now delete that layer leaving you with just the original Smart Object layer Select the SO and do the Step & Repeat (Shift Ctrl Alt T).   I have tested it a few times on Windows 11 and Mac Sequoia and it works every time.  You can edit any one of the SOs and they all reflect the edit as you'd expect them to.     I hope I am not the only person who nearly missed that link, and I hope some people

Hi. I had created a "favorites" folder for my photoshop actions that I have been curating and using for years. Recently, I launched Photoshop and got an error "cannot load actions because an unexpected end of file was encountered". My actions are still available if I load them. But, my favorites folder is gone, and I had put a lot of time into organizing my actions into it. Any thoughts on where it could have gone or what could have happened?

I have been a regular user of Adobe's Photoplan for many years.  The Photoplan plan includes Photoshop, Lightroom, 20 GB of cloud storage, and more.I have a pretty good idea about the photo programs, but I haven't used 20GB of cloud storage (?).Hence the question: how do I store photos in this cloud and how can I manage it, see how much I have used, etc

"Could not complete the New Video Layer from File command because the footage is not a recognized format." I also downloaded other older versions to try but none of them can open the video file, I've been searching through the forums and web for solutions for hours, but still can't find a solution. I would really appreciate help to fix this issue. When I was making Fake 3D using path assignment for my course I had an issue with stroke options for path.   When I choosed Stroke Path - Mixer Brush Tool I got a result from Pattern Stamp When I tried Stroke Path - Healing Brush there I got result from Mixer brush.   I didn't check all options on the Stroke Path list but there simd to be a mix-up.   Adobe Photoshop Version: 26.3.0 20250122.r.156 bfca642 x64 Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit   Steps to reproduce: 1. Create mixer brush (for example circle with gradient) 2. Create path with any pen tool 3. Go to Paths - Work Path - Stroke Path 4. Choose "Mixer Brush tool"   Expected result: path is stroked with mixer brush that was created in step 1 Actual result: path is stroked with pattern and brush size from Pattern Stamp Tool  

I'm not sure if this is a common issue. I use Photoshop on my iPad. I have used it for over two years to do all of my design work and it usually doesn't have any issues. Here recently (Since the last update), I have noticed some files disappearing. When I exit the file that I have been editing a message pops up in the corner saying the "file has been promoted to a new document". And then it disappears and I'm not able to find it anywhere on Photoshop. It's also not on my Creative Cloud.    Has anyone else experienced this and how can I fix this? It's annoying to work on a project and then exit the project only for it to disappear.    Please help!

Hey guys,  My save for web option is not working. Every time I try to save using the Save for Web ( Legacy) option I get an error message.  Please help! 

I have approximately 1000 SVG files stored in a folder on my Windows 10 system. I need to import all of these SVGs into the Photoshop timeline using the 'File > Place Embedded' feature.  I'm avoiding the 'Import Media' option because it's significantly slower when dealing with this large number of files. 'Place Embedded' is much faster, but I don't want to manually select each SVG file individually.  I'm looking for a way to automate this process. Specifically:  Is there a script that can automatically import all the SVG files from the folder using 'Place Embedded'?I've tried recording an action to select the SVG folder, but I'm unsure how to make the action select a new, unselected file each time it runs. How can I modify the action to achieve this?  I'm currently using Adobe Photoshop 21.0.3 on Windows 10. 

I've been facing this issue for a long time now and this is slowing my work processI'm using a Surface Book 2 15, 16gb gtx1060 6gb. I draw using the frame timelineThe issue:When drawing on Photoshop, eventually the strokes will stop appearing, it will only appear when I take my hand with the pen off the display, then the strokes will appear one by one. This will happen over and over and over. I tried many different performance configurations. I checked the I checked the task manager during the issue and it doesnt seem to be related to performance. I tested it with different tablets as:Surface Book 2 + Surface penSurface Book 2 +  191gt v2 Huion Kamvas Surface Book 2 + Wacom Cintiq 24 proPhotoshop​ ! The issue happens using any of the options above, Im not sure if this is a bug with the surface Book 2, or is just Photoshop. Any one know any other discussion related to this?I really need to fix this asap, this is slowing me down during my workThanks

Various versions and Mac Os versions. Drag a perspective crop, confirm,  and it leaves a 1 pixel white edge, usually on the left edge. Not consistant but annoying. Mac Mini 4, Mac OS 15.3.2, PS 26.5

Hello. I'm doing a very simple gradient effect on text and "gradient map" doesn't activate for me. I'm watching a tutorial on how to use it and for some reason, my feature doesn't show up. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?!  I even trouble shooted and used a photo and still nothing. 

Necesito de ayuda de todos, tengo un error al abrir imagen, desde hace 3 dias cuando deseo abrir algunas imagenes estas imagenes en photoshop figuran de otro color y les sale lineas, pero no me pasa con todas las imagenes, pero si con un 80% de estas, que podría hacer en este caso adjunto como me figura la imagen.

As of two days ago, I can no longer export photos from Lightroom to Photoshop for editing touchups. This seriously hampers my workflow, and it's never happened to me before in 10 years of constant work with both. Step by step, here's where the problem occurs. When I choose to edit to Photoshop, PS boots up but does not open to the exported photo - rather it offers the following choices: Create New, or Open.  I can add in a few steps as a workaround, which means saving my Lightroom version as a tiff or jpg, then opening it in PS to do touch ups - BUT exporting finished photos from Lightroom has always been my preferred method. For some reason, the simple step I've always used has seemingly disappeared. What might I be missing here?I'm using the latest CC versions of both and running the most current Mojave.Thanks in advance for any advice.--Jean
