Dear Adobe, I really hope you guys can upgrade or improve on your generative fill in Photoshop, because it's really really really terrible compare to other platforms or local generative run. Your generative fill does 95% of things wrong or inaccurate, and the distortions is, might as well be 100%.
Neural Filters, Colorize, Is not laying down a color focal point. Is this a bug or is there a setting that is wrong? How do I fix my issue? Thanks!MAC IOS: SEQUOIA 15.3.2(24D81)COLOR RGB/8

For instance, when installing the Pantone Connect plug-in, I didn't even think to go to Windows>Extensions>PantoneConnect to find it and spent all afternoon digging around on the internet for solutions. Maybe they could each have their own tab or something.
Ok, I was fed up with the slices in Photoshop scripting, since they seem to discourage a lot of people, considering how many posts on this community and outside don't have a proper solution. After a few wrong dives I did find the descriptor nesting of some basic slice info, that can be used for exports, selecting with descriptors by ID and other needs. To simplify the matter for the next poor guy facing the problem of programatically finding it, I am sharing my function:/** * Retrieve list of slice info with ActionManager's descriptors as normal objects * * A slice descriptor may expose these but not always all values * * sliceID : DescValueType.INTEGERTYPE => stored as id [number] * groupID : DescValueType.INTEGERTYPE => stored as group [number] * origin : DescValueType.ENUMERATEDTYPE => stored as origin [string] * name : DescValueType.STRINGTYPE => stored as name [string] * type : DescValueType.ENUMERATEDTYPE => stored as type [
I just updated Photoshop (version 26.6.0), and now when importing a photo from Lightroom Classic, I can't get the photo to open in Photoshop. HELP I'm in the middle of editing wedding photo's and don't have time for this. I've tried Cntrl-E, and right clicking-open in Photoshop. It opens Photoshop, but doesn't bring the picture in. I am using Windows 11.
Changing the settings did not work. Edit > Preferences > Workspace > (disable checkbox for) Enable Floating Document Window Docking.
Okay I will try to be short and clear.I've been doing social media designs for a mental health client and most of his brand colors are bright one. When they upload the design I've made and I check it on social platforms and zoom in I find the text looks pixelated and like there is distorted box around it making the design looks ugly when zooming in. I've uploaded some designs just to see how it looks like. I am using 1080*1080 or 1200*1200 res 72 - color mode: rgb: srgb. and I export the design from "Quick Export as" Png 24. *The Design looks good before it gets uploaded on internet. Thanks for your time, everyone.
Hi,I used the slice tool to add hyperlinks to images in Photoshop. How do I export the project so the links will be clickable? I first exported it as a JPEG, but it didn't work.
I have a teacher ( video ) that is showing me how to download Overlays into my download file in my hard drive, then create a Library , then add different groups , looks like I'm adding a bunch of different file folders that I dropped those overlays into. But now I cannot find them in those groups / files. Does anyone have experience working with these types of issues in PS ?
After updating Photoshop to 25.12 and Photoshop beta to 26.0, in Bridge it's not possible anymore to use Photoshop - tools - imageprocessor. I get the message: "start up script not found in Adobe Bridge". Adobe advices te re-install?? Isn't it possible to go back to the previous version Photoshop 25.11 without re-install? So I don't loose all my preferences and presets? If not, does remove Photoshop Beta solve the problem? Photoshop runs on Windows 10 Pro 22H2, 64 bit.
Have been using photoshop desktop for years to edit photos in .jpeg (mostly removing little objects) and outcome photo is always little smaller or little bigger in size with same resolution and meta data. Now started to use photoshop web version for the same above mentioned editing as my computer doesn't support latest version and ai features of photoshop but here the outcome image size of .jpeg files is drastically reduced while keeping resolution and metadata. There is no option to choose image quality while saving a photo like in desktop version Any idea to keep photo size about intact like desktop version
Hi people,Is any working approach to make detection mentioned in title? I've tried:if (doc.path != "" && doc.saved){ isStandalone = true;---------------------------------------------try { // Check if document has a parent property (indicating it's a Smart Object being edited) if (doc.hasOwnProperty('parent') && doc.parent !== null) {------------------------------------------------------------------------No results at the moment.
Hi all, I am desperately reporting a very inconvenient brush size-saving feature in Photoshop and begging for a fix.I originally started using Photoshop, but I continually feel stressed because of the lack of a brush size memory feature. I’ve used Clip Studio Paint, which has a feature that remembers each brush's size individually. However, I want to continue using Photoshop because I love this program. Here’s a feature that I believe Photoshop must add:I want each brush to retain the last size I used for it separately (meaning, I want each brush to remember its own last-used size, instead of sharing the same size across all brushes). For example, as you all know, when I use Brush A with a default size of 5 and change its size to 20, then switch to Brush B and return to Brush A, the brush is no longer at size 20. It automatically reverts to its originally registered size of 5.To make the brush remember the size I last used, I tried saving Brush A as a new brush preset and unchecked the
Amigos, instalei a Icloud e depois o Photoshop.Quando abrí, está todo em Português!!!!Como reverter para inglês?

Sometimes when I create a layer mask on a reasonably decent quality image it becomes really pixelated for no apparent reason.I am using the web based version cause my computer struggles to run the app if anything else at all is open on my computer and I thought I could do this on the web.I don't know how clearly you can see, but it selected the object just fine and it wasn't pixelated at all, but when I created the layer mask it was so pixelated. Same story when I used the add to/subtract from mask brush.I exported the image to see if it was just not displaying it to the highest quality but it was really pixelated there as well. But wait - it gets weirder (I don't have pics of this cause I deleted what I was working on)This issue kicked in the other day while I was halfway through something and half of the mask was a normal level of pixelisation ie. as pixelated as the image, but part of it was really pixelated like the above image. But essentially (in both cases), I selected
I've seen a few people ask about the brush strokes not appearing until you life the pen, but never seen a fix that worked for me. I'm having the same issue, it worked fine up until about a week or so and now I can't see the brush strokes until I lift my pen from the screen. Anyone have any advice?
Hey all, I’m working on a VS battle-style anime image for a client site [removed by moderator] and I’ve run into a technical issue with Motion Blur in Photoshop that I can’t seem to fix. Whenever I apply Motion Blur to a character layer, it creates weird semi-transparent edges, almost like there’s an unwanted alpha channel effect. Even though the layer has full opacity, parts of the blurred area appear faded or completely invisible against the background. I’ve tried: Converting to a Smart Object before applying the blur – no change. Disabling anti-aliasing and checking layer masks – no effect. Rasterizing the layer before blurring – same issue. Changing color modes (RGB, CMYK) and bit depth – nothing fixes it. Toggling Photoshop’s GPU settings – slight improvement but not a real solution. I’ve been watching multiple YouTube tutorials, but I can’t find anything that specifically addresses this blur transparency bug. Has anyone else encountered this? Any suggestions
i tried to use the generative tool and it asked to check guidelines even though the work was not in violation of the guidelines.
I am not able to use hindi fonts, it just disappears , when I switch font , how to solve this? thanks
Hi, How do you improve VHS quality on our Photoshop? I have VHS effect from 1999-2000. but How can we please remove VHS effect? Here's a tutorial of how to improve VHS on Photoshop.
I'm assuming this is not a bug, but a change to a core behavior, one of many that Adobe seems to have been making the last few years that create headaches for me and send me off reconsidering alternative software again. I've been using Photoshop for about 30 years though, and I just wish that new behaviors didn't replace old ones. Add features, that's fine. But the last couple of years I have to keep changing up my work flow and it's a hassle.Tonight, I found out that the eye dropper tool changes a shape layer's color by just selecting a color with it. In the past, if I wanted to change the shape's color I would double click it and then select a color. But a lot of times, I just want to change the foreground color for various reasons, and now I apparently have to first make sure I don't have a shape layer selected before trying to use a tool that is not specific to shapes. The eye dropper tool should, by default, just be selecting colors, as it always has. Or at least, have some way to
Hi everyone,I am working on a print project that includes QR codes. The printer informed me that all QR codes need to be 100% K black. How can I set this up in Photoshop? I know how to do this with an SVG file, but I only have PNGs for the QR codes. I just want to make sure it's done correctly and that the QR codes remain scannable once printed. Thank you very much for your help!
