Although this was answered a few years back, I never saw the response. And since then it's been removed! So...After you do a scale transformation of a Smart Object with an applied Camera Raw filter, the applied Camera Raw edits don't scale with the image. They are still applied, but not in the same area that the edits were applied. For example: I do a Camera Raw edit of a smart layer that is of a face. and use the brush to lighten up the face, and then apply the Camera Raw. I then scale the layer that has the smart object of the person, and the camera raw edit. The scaled version has the Camera Raw edit, but it's no longer isolated to the face.

Up until about 3pm yesterday, illustrator CS6 and Photoshop CS6 worked without a hitch however at 3pm, I all of a sudden get the message 'Could not place because the source rectangle is empty'. All I was doing was dragging one of our company logos into Photoshop from Illustrator from the .eps file that holds all our graphics. I have done this hundreds of timnes before and ALWAYS either do it this way or highlight an image in Illustrator and paste into Photoshop. Either way I am still getting this error message.Nothing has happened in the settings (that I am aware of) and google gives me numerous results all of which point at the fact that i may have a corrupt .eps file. However that is not the case. If i try and drag and drop or copy and paste various different fiele from .jpg to .png and .eps or .ai I have the same issue.I uninstalled Photoshop this morning then re-installed to see if that would fix the issue but no such luck.As it is, it is affecting my work and sure there are workar

I wrote a script (years ago)  to draw a circle using paths in Photoshop. It works! However, the thing that it doesn't quite do properly is close the path - the start and end point just co-incide (which used to be the way paths were closed) I've tried messing around with the code the obvious choice woule be to so set closed to true: lineSubPathArray[0].closed = true; But that adds an extra point to the circle and closes it. see screen shot - I've move the extra point out the way so you can see it clearly.  I'm aiming for a closed, fourpoint circle. Hi, I am relatively new to actions and droplets, but have made 3 actions that works perfectly within photoshop and want to make it into a droplet. The 3 actions are:action 2 and 3: Copy and paste the vertical image onto the horisontal image, add a solid color layer, add a graduated mask, add drop shadow and frame to vertical layer and save as copy in same folder as origin. (these are 2 actions doing the same depending on whether the active document that are opened are vertical or horisontal in orientation. action 1 is a conditional action only saying: If document is landscape, then run action 2, else run action 3. Within photoshop this works perfectly (then I have 2 images loaded). But when I make a droplet of action 1 and add two images, I get the erromessage saying the command "IF" is not available. I spent some time with adobe support yesterday, but they were unable to help. Hi, I'm using Photoshop 26.3 on Windows 11.It's not the first time that I'm using Photoshop 26.3 but this morning it just didn't want to open. I clicked the icon on the taskbar and the icon on the desktop and it wouldn't open.The weird thing is that when I tried to downgrade to 26.1, it said I had to close Photoshop first BUT when I checked in the task manager, Photoshop was not listed as running.So I had to restart my computer and downgrade to 26.1 before clicking any photoshop icon.Back to 26.1, I could now open Photoshop.Thank you for exploring what went wrong.

Hello Mr/Mrs I have 2 bugs to report 1. When i open camera raw and use derfinge in manual, after this if i press ok or cancel i does nothing i must end task from task manager. 2. when i use the auto find distractions cables or the AI remove tool (with pink brush) in big area in image i have blue screen and the pc restart... my pc is 14900k 96gb ram  gigabyte4080 gpu, asus z790 gaming e, with m2 all drivers updates uptoday in windows 11 pro

 I am using an ipad 9th gen, and I am currently under the JAMF restrictions by my country's Ministry Of Education, (SIngapore). So I have tried uninstalling and installing this app 6 times already, and I tried signing in via Adobe and google, but it keeps leading me here. I can't open the restore your purchases due to restrictions, and it just stays here. Is there anything I can do, or should I just stick to photoshop express that's already there? They all deleted the App Store btw

I want to place an image from Lightroom into an EXISTING canvas - I can't see a way to do it. It only appears you can open an image in a new canvas. Any ideas?

Hi all I do not know what exactly I did, but I cannot create any shapes. When I select the shape tool, I can draw it, but it shows it on the wireframe blue color, and the option on the top of the bar, I mean ribbon, does not show to change the color, stroke, etc. 

 I ı removed my back ground of this glass and if want to bring the former background WHİTE color work on it but if change my mind to delete back ground BLACK color doesn't work on what should I CAND DO NOTE: I use the latest version of adobe photoshop  

Hi. Does anyone know how to 'anchor end', similar to Canva? I've been editing in Photoshop for a few years (but on a really old version), and recently got Adobe Creative Cloud, but I'm a bit lost. I've been also using Canva for a while, to help with social media work, but I cannot figure how to replicate their 'anchor end' text feature. Where he text box works in this way: Text from right to left, going up to down, like normal, but instead of adding new text below, it adds it in place of the first text, and moves the first text upwards.   I would really appreciate if someone could help me with this, or any other alternative / plugin to solve this, it's really crucial to the design I'm trying to make for a reusable social-media template. Thank you every so much for your time~!   

Just noticed when I am editing using the Marquee tool and need to use the Distort or Skew, it doesn't show up when I right click anymore.

I'm used to use the Transform function (command+T) to scale proportonally by holding the shift key while dragging any corner.Now it seems this functionality has been reversed so if I hold the shift key while dragging the corner the object gets distorted.How do I reverse this back to how it was?

I often work with PSD files which width equals to my display's one (1920px), so when I preview my document in full screen mode (pressing F) and set scale to 100% by pressing CTRL+1, my image will probably get shifted to one of the directions (up, left, right).How do I center my document, so it starts from the top left pixel of my monitor, and ends to the top right pixel of it, so I don't have to struggle with centering the image by CTR+Scroll or using scrollbars?

My postscript printer driver has disappeared from my system. I need it to create an oversize pdf using Photoshop. I have searched Adobe and tried downloading several old drivers and it just sends me in circles. I am running Windows 10 and Photoshop CC.  Where do I find a current printer driver to create a postscript (.ps) file so that I can use Adobe Distiller to create my pdf file?Any help appreciated!

I've noticed that other people have posted similar problems to mine a few years ago, but I didn't have this issue up until a few months ago.  I first noticed something was wrong when the color wheel looked very desaturated in my monitor. I usually use photoshop to draw on my xp pen tablet but now I want to do some graphic design so using a bigger screen is more comfortable but, the colors look super desaturated. When I export them they look how they're supposed to look, same thing with my phone, chrome AND the photoshop home page, but when i'm working on a canvas I can't see the true colors. I've tried every setting in "proof setup". Can anyone help me withthis? This is a screenshort of what the colors look in the workspace. good morningI've got [some] png image exported from FIGMA.I'm using macOS. if I ask finder info of this file it seems there is sRGB IEC61966-2.1 color profile embedded to the image.if I open the PNG file with PS, Adobe tell me there is no color profile embedded.this is a sample file Why ?
