Photoshop

Tengo que recortar mas de 1500 fotos y el candado de recorte está abierto o desbloqueado, por tal motivo no me permite mantener la proporción original de la foto al recortarla.¿Cómo puedo hacer para configurar que el candado de recorte esté cerrado o bloqueado siempre? Dado que ahora tengo que cerrarlo en con cada foto que tengo que recortar.

I want to brighten an image layer, but do not want to affect the other layers below. Is it possible?

Just want to check with fellow scripters than panning (as in using the hand tool) to move around a zoomed in large image is NOT possible with scripting?  I want to zoom in on a large image and then be able to pan to a selection  - but I don't think there is anything that can help me on this one. Even the navigator doesn't highlight selections. So go from : to Using a zoomed in version of the Mona Lisa an an example 

So the lag of a second or so (1000 milliseconds+) in clicking to draw or select something, with the mouse,in Photoshop, magically disappears if you run Photoshop as administrator. Yay! (Photoshop 22.2)   However... in fixing that Photoshop will no longer open a .PSD file in a folder by double clicking its icon Nothing happens.  (Photoshop gets focus - mouse cursor changes to blue spinny wheel for a moment, no file is opened) Opening said file from Photoshop's FIle Menu works as nomal.   So how do we fix the problem to fix the problem? #Photoshophouseofcards

Hi everyone, is there any way to hide or disable the menu item " SignIn / Sign Out "  in Adobe applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)? Maybe using the registry keys? We are an academic center with our own accounts signed in in our computers and we do not want our students siging out these accounts, just using it. Thanks.

Can anyone comment on the following please:I'm using Photoshop CC on a laptop PC with an older Canon ipf8400 printer.  Canon provides a print plug in for this printer to use with photoshop which you load via the File/export/ipf8400plugin menu.  I have always used the plug in to print in the past, but recently switched from a desktop to an MSI laptop.  After loading all the drivers and software from Canon's website onto the laptop, I can't get the Canon plug in to load in photoshop.  When I use the file/export/ipf8400plugin menu I get the following error:  "the required profile to peform color processing is not available."  I have no idea what this means and thus don't know how to fix it.     However, I can print to the ipf8400 using the adobe photoshop File/print menu.  So two quesiont:1.  Any idea what the error message means and how to fix it?2.  If not, is there any disadvantage or reason not to just use the Adoble Photosho

I have good internet connection but for the past week the files ARE NOT SYNCING!! It is very frustrated got my file LOCKED. I tried to make it it avaialble offline but got an error!    

Photoshop has stopped printing to my Epson P900, although it prints fine to my HP 8720 officejet.I have used and printed with photoshop for years. In the past, I have had no similar problems printing to any printer.  I have removed the printer, added new, and restarted Pshop. For anyone who uses photoshop for printing purposes! I use Cannon DSLR camera and shoot in RAW + JPG then upload to photoshop for editing,  to print products (shirts, hats, art prints, ect.) all sizes. How do you edit in photoshop to maintain quality but optimizing image for printing? Reduce file size in photoshop without reducing quality? or best photoshop settings for printing purposes? Right now I export 300dpi & PNG file. Quality is still not the best, file size & resolution very high.  I've heard of flattning image, saving as TIFF instead of PNG, ect. Alot of suggestions for editing/saving but not sure best way to go. Any insight appreciated! 

Hi All, I currently work on a Mac Pro (late 2013) with 32 GB of memory and an equally old Eizo CG277 display. I am a digital retoucher working with Photoshop and often use Topaz as well, I frequently have Acrobat open too. I work mainly with photographers, and the files that are sent to me to work on are huge (and seem to be getting bigger). my layered composite is often 1 GB or even higher. My problem is that I can't go beyond OS Monterey 12.7.6 on my old Pro, and consequently, I'm getting messages about performance, etc, more importantly, I can no longer install Photoshop 2025 or later versions, so I have to get a new Mac. I have decided to get a new Mac Mini M4. However, I'm unsure which model to choose. I've looked at countless YouTube videos and browsed various forums, but the advice is conflicting—some suggest getting the basic model, while others recommend all the available upgrades. My budget is quite low, unfortunately. I don't do Graphic design, create videos, or do gami

Hi, I just reinstalled nik collection to my updated Photoshop CC and the default background color which is white turn to different color although in the properties showing white. How to change it to white?Anyone had encountered this problem before?Please share you thought on this. Thank you.

Photoshop print crash. Latest windows 11 (today), latest printer driver (today), uninstalled photoshop with cc cleaner and reinstalled from website (today), checked GPU compatibility - it is fine. I have a strange thing happening that maybe someone can shed some thoughts on. I use my Nikon D7000 to  photograph my artwork (paintings)..  Recenly after shooting photos of two large commissoned paintings (one of the paintings has figures in the upper left corner that are presented in saturated red/orange, yellow, with saturated blue shadows) using an 18% gray card to set white balance and exposture (I bracket the shots as well) as is standard procedure (and I have done for decades), I imported the photos into my Mac.  The photos import into Apple Photos, and I can then export them (both as nef and jpg files). I then open the nef files in Camera Raw, and usually do any necessary adjustmens (cropping, sometimes curves adjustments a bit) in Photoshop. However, the area of the painnting with the saturated red/orange, yellow, and blue figures is appearing strange in Camera Raw, Photoshop, and even Lightroom. The nef files look fine in Apple Photos, or even if I open them in

I need help, pleaseI would like to create an action that Save for web + asks for a destination  I can't seem to understand how to do that as once I'm in save for web window it asks for a destination that gets embedded in the action. I want to click play and get Photoshop to ask me to select a folder, I'm on mac if it matters  

I am creating an ad for Facebook, and one of the images (touchscreen alarm panel) in it is too dulled despite being from a high resolution image from the manafacturer.  See the attachment below. How can I make that dulled layer pop (make it alive)?

My actions have been working for years now they no longer work, I get this error and similar errors for each step of my action when i try to run as a batch. the action works fine when i open the file or files manually and run the action manullly. feels like a bug.

Bonjour, Les traductions autour de "l'outil image" sont très mauvaises : l'outil devrait s'appeler "outil cadre", on met l'image dans le cadre. D'ailleurs, dans le tutoriel, il est tantôt question d'outil image, tantôt d'outil cadre. La commande "supprimer l'image" supprime le cadre et non l'image. C'est incompréhensible.

In Photoshop version 26.2.0, I noticed that the color picker is triggered using the Alt key. However, it is very slow, causing dots to appear when using the brush tool, and the selected color does not update quickly. This issue does not occur in version 25.12.1. Please address this problem as soon as possible. The color picker feature activated by holding down the Alt button is too slow, and it ends up leaving a dot.

Hello! I'm trying to solve a printing issue where Photoshop crashes every time I try to print. I currently have Photoshop CS5 Extended version 12.0 x64 and I'm running MacOS High Sierra 10.13.6 on a Macbook Pro. I saw a post here that updating to version 12.0.4 might resolve the issue, but the link on that page was dead. I also found another post with an updated link in the comments, but that one didn't work either (it brought me to an FTP that gave an error message: There was a problem connecting to the server "ftp.adobe.com". The share does not exist on the server. Please check the share name, and then try again.)I spoke to several Adobe representatives, but none of them were able to provide me with a link to the update so they recommended I post here.Does anyone have a link to Photoshop CS5 version 12.0.4 for Mac?  Thanks,Matt

I have been using an old version of photoshop on my laptop running Microsoft 11 with no problems. Today I start it and it starts to install and gets to installing color preferrences or sometime something else and then disappears. I try again multiple times and same result. I restarted my laptop. Same results.

El desplazarte hasta abajo resulta incomodo, además sería bueno poder organizar estos archivos abiertos por ultima vez modificado (aunque no se haya guardado aún).La idea es que todo esto que esta en rojo se pueda colapsar como sucede con organizar y espacios de trabajo.Gracias
