Photoshop (Beta)

I need help.  I ran into a unique problem with Beta version 25.1.0.  I was wondering if it was a bug or something I did wrong. I am using Windows 11, Home Edition. When I tried to use the brush, one single click would draw a long diagonal line.  It was driving me crazy.  Then I started to notice that when I selected a menu item, it would randomly change to some other item (different menu column).  This indicated to me that the cursor was randomly jumping around.  This problem was not happening regularly (meaning that the cursor was stable until you did something.  So far it happened consistently with the brush and the menu item selection). When I switched to the regular Photoshop 24.7.0, everything would be working as it should.  So I don't think it was my computer that was causing it. To make things even worse, this problem only manifested about half of the time I launched PS Beta.  Sometimes things would work just fine and s

At least 3 times... as I am removing the background from an image, changing  the selection boundary Photoshop 2024 (beta) locks up. The cursor remaining is different from one I have seen before. It is a hand with a finger pointing up. Version: Photoshop 25.1.0Windows 11 HomeVersion 22H2 

I would like my workspace and settings to look exactly like if I am on Photoshop Beta, but this method isn't working. Thanks!

Remove background does not do a very good job of removing the background that is inside the object compared to other tools out there. Example, would be a bicycle wheel. The tool does a great job removing the background the surround the outside of the wheel, but no so much inside where the spokes are. Even when the backgrounds is uniform in color throughout. Photoshop tends to ignore inside object that contain the same background. This tends to be a manual removal by adding to the mask with the paintbrush. Photoshop should be smarter when it come to backgrounds. Is there a way to get better once lick results as I do with online tool. Here is an example. No other work was done to these images other than clicking remove background. This was done in the Photoshop Beta.  

I've just downloaded the photoshop beta so I can use generative fill. I've selected an area, clicked generative fill and then typed various things into the "what would you like to generate?" bar however when I click generate nothing ever happens. Anyone had the same issue or know how to fix it? 

Generative fill does not work.There is no response when clicked.It worked well yesterday.But it doesn't work from today.

I started with a 22Mb file, extended the image through generative fill to almost double the pixel size, added 2 smart objects containing a simple illustration each, and two text layers. The outcome file was 1.5Gb, and my 40GB disk space just disappeared for cache. This is a serious problem.Even after rasterizing the generative fill, the oucome was still 486Mb.

I can run newest photoshop but the newest beta crashes as soon as it opens? any solutions?

Hello,   A few "bugs" I encountered on Beta 24.7.0 (it was the same on the previous version) compared to the Stable version.   1- After exiting Photoshop and restarting, it won't remember the Refine Edge settings even if "Remember Settings" is checked. They're being reset to stock. In the stable version it remembers the View Mode/Transparency, edge radius, contrast, feather, etc.    2- Remove tool - Same, after restarting it won't remember "sample all layers" being checked. I usually do corrections on a separate layer, and I keep getting this "error" as I forget to enable it after each fresh start.   *Is there a way to add "adjust brush size with pen pressure" for the remove tool? It would surely help doing a nice selection when using a pen, without constantly adjusting the size of the remove brush.   Thanks! Bogdan    

I noticed today in the most recent version of Photoshop beta that when using the replacement tool with the option unchecked to "remove after the first stroke" on the second selection the brush cursor isn't visable. Just an arrow. You can't see what the actual size of the brush is when the arrow is showing. I realize this is a beta version with some bugs. Just wanted to alert Adobe to this bug. Thanks.

Hello, After downloading and installing Photoshop 2023 Beta 25.0, I keep getting the the following error message about Generator. When going to the link it suggests removing and reinstalling all plug-ins.  I hope there is a better way to do solve this.  I'm not about to uninstall and reinstall my plug-ins.  Anyone have any ideas?  I've uninstalled the Beta and re-installed the Beta, but get the same error message.   Thanks, Dennis

Hallo, ich nutze Photoshop 2023 v24.6 und 2024 v25 Beta unter Windows 10. In PS2023 v24.6 funktioniert das Entfernen-Werkzeug einwandfrei. In PS2024 v25.0 Beta funktioniert das Entfernen-Werkzeug nicht. Beim Auswählen erscheint immer der Hinweis:'Erforderliche Komponenten werden heruntergeladen. Du kannst das Tool verwenden, sobald der Download abgeschlossen ist'. Nur ich sehe keine Download-Aktivitäten. Beim erneuten Auswählen erscheint der bekannte Hinweis.Ich habe schon überlegt, die Datei des Entfernen-Werkzeuges von PS2023 v24.6 nach PS2024 v25.0 Beta zu kopieren. Nur weiß ich nicht, wie die Datei heißt und in welchem Verzeichnis sie liegt. Ich habe auch schon die Werkzeugleiste in PS2023 v24.6 gesichert und in PS2024 v25.0 Beta geladen. Auch in diesem Fall das gleiche Fehlerbild.Hast Du einen Tip für mich, wie ich das Problem gelöst bekomme? Im Internet habe ich keine Lösungen gefunden. LG Hein

Is Photoshop(Beta) open to China mainland?

I use Photoshop not photoshop Beta.  I accidentlly downloaded it one time and now it pops up all the time in place of my Litghtroom photoshop.  Even when I'm working in photoshop, photoshop beta will show up all of a sudden.  How do I get rid of it?

Anyone else experience this?  On my iMac, when I minimize Photoshop (Beta), it takes up two spots in my dock. When I "open" either one, it opens the real one and they both go away. I don't know that this qualifies as a bug, so I'm posting here.  

Is Photoshop(Beta) open to everyone or only some people who applied somehow? 

For real? I really want to buy photography plan, until I check the Photoshop plan..

Hallo, ich kann seit geraumer Zeit keine Bilder mehr exportieren sobald ich generative Fill eingesetzt habe. Jedes mal kommt die Inhaltsurheberrechts Fehlermeldung. Jede der auf der Adobe Help Webseite erfasste Einstellung habe ich mehrfach verstellt und jedes mal exportiert. Bei den Bilder entstanden insgesamt 10 unbrauchbare Versionen und am Ende half nur ein Screenshot. Der Support Chat schiebt mich nur durch mehrere Ansprechpartner die wiederum keine Hilfe leisten konnten. Nach langer Wartezeit und anstehender Messe konnte keine "Offline" Verfolgung stattfinden und meint Ticket wurde gelöscht. Jemand das gleiche Problem? Photoshop Beta ist für mich auch nach Neuinstallation und löschen der Daten unbrauchbar. I notice a problem exporting files containing transparency on the beta version of Photoshop. Whether it is copying and pasting a simple layer to illustrator, or importing a .tif, or .psd file, the message "unreadable file." Appears. If the image is flattened, there is no error.For compatibility issues with other software we have to use illustrator CC2019. This problem does not occur on the Illustrator 2023 version.I only have this problem on the beta version, because on the CC 2019 version it works correctly.This problem appeared after an update of the beta version it seems, because at the beginning I had no problems.

Updated to PS v24.7 and found that my Alien Skin Blow Up 3 (version 3.1.4.386) filter is no longer available. It gives the following error:"could not complete the blow up command because a command was not available"I tried reinstalling the filter without success.Using Windows 10 Pro.

Photoshop Beta 25.0 Suddenly crashed while editing a picture and will not start again on MAC OS.I removed the Beta version and installed it again and it wont start. It crashes. Deleted Photoshop 2023 to see if there was a connection but no. Still the Beta version crashed. Removed Beta files and still crashes.Downloaded the previous version Beta 24.7 and Photoshop worked except the Ai tool. Needed version 25.0 for that to work but its the version that keeps crashing when I try to open it. I have tried different trousbleshoots without avail.
