Photoshop (Beta)

Hi,I've been experiencing an issue with Photoshop for several months. When using AI-powered tools like Remove Tool or Generative Fill, the generated areas often have a different color than the rest of the image, making the results unusable in many cases.I use Photoshop on two different computers, and the issue occurs on both, affecting both the stable version and the BETA version. Things I’ve tried:- Changing Photoshop settings- Disabling GPU support- Adjusting cache levels- Updating my graphics driversNone of these solutions have helped. System details:Photoshop version: Latest stable & BETA (issue persists across multiple updates)Language: PolishOperating Systems: Windows 10 & Windows 11Example of the issue:Below, you can see an example where I tried to fix an area in the top right corner. Hi. In new Photoshop-Beta FireFly does not work correctly.1. When I upload reference picture - I can not write the text of prompt. And conversely - after writing prompt I can not upload reference. So, I can not use prompt and reference together. But in earlier versions of Photoshop-beta it worked.2. After uploading reference Photohop cuts out part of the image - so, the reference image does not uploading whole. 

I have previously successfully used the Photoshop > Neural Filters> Photo Restoration filter.Today I receive the following error: "We've temporarily disabled this filter because of an error."I tested Photoshop 2025, 2023, and Beta.I researched community.adobe.com and discovered multiple posts about this error dating as far back as 2021. It is now 2024.The “answer” seems to be: “Unfortunately this is a Beta feature right now, meaning there are no guarantees that this will be readily available or work all the time.”Link to community forum search results for Photo Restoration issue Question: Can anyone recommend a photo restoration application that I can use as a workaround for whenever the Photoshop > Neural Filters> Photo Restoration filter is disabled?Thank you.

Photoshop Beta version 26.9 on MacOS 15.5 - Using remove tool while holding shift... it appears as though shape dynamics is turned on. 

Help!Does anyone know how to effect change to a Behance ID that is clearly not mine and goes nowhere near my actual one? PS 26.9 Beta It drives me nuts that CC out there has incorrect details; not that I really use Behance, but should I ever, it needs to be fixed, and I am stumped.Thanks for any and all help!

I updated BETA 2 days ago and Reference Image is not showing besides the Generative Fill button, as it used to be a week ago Nat

Hello! Some interesting behavior started to appear for last 2 weeks. "Please check your internet connection and try again." appears every time trying generative fill. At the same time, I can easily generate image by prompt or select subject using cloud (detailed results).Screenshots of just generated background and error of generative fill linked as images. Photoshop Beta updated to latest version, creative cloud as well. PS beta 26.9.0, MacBook air m4 macOS 15.4 (24E248).  I've seen suggestions in different topics. Updating PS, restarting mac, and so on doesn't help. Firewall is turned off by default on my Mac. I've checked in activity monitor, does photoshop send and gets packets. It does.  Internet connection is stable, 30mb+. At the same time i can generate new layer, but still cant use generative fill.

Hi, I'm just trying to add some red splashes of blood to some objects, by writing 'red ink' or 'red paint' but gererative AI is replacing the objects and not adding to the current picture? How can I get it to add just to the picture and not change the object? References below

Hello All,I have been unable to use Generative Fill with Photoshop Beta Latest Update.I create a canvas rectangle shape, import a square photo to the center, flatten all layers, use the masking toolto rope off the LH blank area, hit generative fill, all it does now is create a white square *(does nothing).What's wrong?I also paid for a standard subscription to Firefly.I need HELP!Thank you.

Since updating to 26.9.0 photoshop seems to be lagging with tools, keyboard shortcuts and general use. It's still functional but definetly slowing me down and making me repeat brush strokes, keyboard shortcuts etc. Very frustrating. I've restarted my computer multiple time too. Please look into this. Thanks

How do I resolve this issue? Where are these files located and do I have to manually delete them? I'm on a Macbook. Sonoma 14.6.1 - I just noticed this happening so it makes me wonder if there is a folder somewhere with tens of gigs from over the years.

In the most recent Beta version, you can no longer easily create an action, much less see or modify the steps in a current action. I used to make actions all the time, and as I worked with them, I would adjust how they functioned, and add or uncheck steps as I saw fit.  Now I have no idea how to do that, and believe me, I have poked around! Would be nice to have that functionality back.  Even just seeing the steps so I could learn more was useful. Additionally, it is very easy to accidentally run an action without even realizing and have to go back in history (sometimes significantly) to undo it.

The effect of the sliders in some of the Image adjustments are not visible until the OK button is hit.  The layers panel thumbnail changes, but that is too small to be useful.  I'm going back to the previous version of PS.

Photoshop Beta now includes a new 'Technology Preview' called Focus Mode.   Focus mode limits the appearance of non-essential messages so that you can stay in the flow when using the program. With this new option enabled: The Welcome screen will not include 'What's new' feature descriptions The 'What's new' message will not appear when Photoshop is launched Blue in-product alerts promoting discovery and use of certain features will be suppressed The color mode preference will be auto set to 'neutral Color Mode'   To enable Focus Mode, start Photoshop, open Preferences, scroll down to the 'Technology Previews' section and check 'Enable Focus Mode'. Restart for changes to take effect.   Let us know what you think, and whether you want to see additional behaviors linked to this new feature.

I get this message every time i try to generate an AI prompt with my wifi connection.However, it will work if i hotspot with my phone's data connection.I've done everything I can think of:- rebooted my mac- reinstalled PS beta- cheked my firewall- rebooted my routerIs there a solution to this on Mac OS Sonoma?Photoshop Beta 25.9.0MacOS Sonoma 14.4.1

  I can't use Generative Fill, it tells me I'm under 18, why can't a kid like me use it?  

Since I updated Photoshop Beta yesterday to the latest version, i cannot seem to get the preview to work when brightening images?I can slide the sliderer to brighter or darker, but there is no preview showing in front of me, despite the 'preview' box being ticked. I have restarted Photoshop, even restarted my computer, but no change.Is anybody else receiveing this?

Remove tool generally delivers great results, but it often creates strange textures when applied, as shown in the image belowSome users suggested switching the image processing mode to "More Stable," but even after restarting, the weird textures and patterns persist, making no differenceI looked into it, and it appears this issue has been reported since 2023. However, even after two years, it still hasn't been fixed

I recently upgraded to PS Beta 26.9.  The sequence of steps outlined below to add copyright text to an image worked properly up until this release. 1. Open a PSD file.  The file is an edited photograph. 2. Flatten the image 3. Resize the file to 10 inches wide at 300 dpi 4. Copy a text string to the clipboard from a Word document that is 12 pt.  Happens to be my copyright information 5. Set the PS text font size to 12 pt 6. Take the PS Text tool and place the location for the string in the lower left corner 7. Paste the coppied text to the location of the Text Layer 8. Done In PS 26.9 what happens at step 6 is that the font size is immediately changed to a realy small value, typically around 2.8 pt.  It is possible to select the text and make it 12 pt again, but it is annoying. The following is some of the information provided by the Adobe System Information dump: Adobe Photoshop Version: 26.9.0 20250615.m.3113
