Photoshop Elements

Hello, I just installed a payed version of adobe elements on my Mac. With the organiser  I can't play AVI files. Can you tell me how I can correct this?I use Mac OS Sonoma and my quick player is version 10.5Please help!

Loaded PE 2024 today. Installed Camera Raw and opened the photos, but instead of the controls I got "Camera Raw requires GPU acceleration to update photos". I use PE 2018 almost daily and Camera Raw has always worked perfectly. Can someone help me

I have a very old typed manuscript on brittle yellowed typing paper that I scanned.  I have it in JPG and PDF formats.  The text is fine for most of the pages, but in some of them the original was light, fuzzy, and unreadable, the scanned image is the same way.  I have Phtoshop Elements 24.  Can the text be made readable on the poor pages in PE 24 or is some other software better for this?  If so how do I do it?

I bought and downloaded Adobe Photoshop Elements yesterday but each time I edit an image, save, exit and then attempt to reopen Photoshop Elements the program does not respond.  The online Adobe help technician reset my preferences last night.  I edited, saved, exited and reopened a couple of times and it worked.  But now this evening it is not reopening again.  The technician gave me a keyboard shortcut; Alt+Control+Shift, to reset Photoshop preferences when opening the program but it has not worked for me.  So far only restarting the computer or manually resetting the preferences seems to work.  I saw that on this and other forums that many others are having this issue also.  Does anyone have a genuine fix for this issue?Intel i7-4770Windows 10 Pro16 GB RAM256 GB SSD1 TB HDNVIDIA GeForce GTX 660

Was using Elements 2021. Macbook Pro 16 updated to Sonoma 14.1.1. After that whenever I try to use the "Adjust Color for Skin Tone" the Elements app freezes up and I need to Force quit to recover. I have seen the like before after an update and I moved to a new Elements, in this case I updated to 2024, and it fixed it. However, this time even 2024 version freezes. Any fixes?

Hi all,I would like to give it a try with photo stacking of milky way landscapes in order to reduce the noise of the image. I have never used this technique before and I am looking for the right software to use.On youtube, it looks like the full photoshop software is the most used, but I guess it is a bit over the top for just an amateur like me.Anyone tried this before with Elements?Thank you in advance,Luca

Is the Focus Stacking add-on the same as what one would use to astrophotagraphy photoes?

I am considering pse 16 for my windows 7 64 bit but have been advised only 15 will support it. 

I bought Elements 9 back then (around year 2010) and have a original CD.Now we have 2024 and I do not have the old comp and a new comp do not have a CD reader, but still have the original Elements 9 on CD.I wanted to download the digital version. I read that I need to register it first to see a download link.The problem is that when I proceed with the serial number the page says the SN is already registered.I do not have the old comp. and now what? 

I've been wonder for some time why some of my images will look different when viewed in Adobe Bridge 2023 vs being shown in the Photoshop Elements Organizer 2022.  I'm looking at them both on the same monitor, a BenQ SW 2700 driven by a NVIDIA RTS A2000 12 GB card on a Windows 11 Pro platform.  The color profile is set to sRGB IEC 61966-2.1. Here is a screen capture with each program showing their view of the same image file on the same monitor.  The image on the left is being viewed in Adobe Bridge while the one on the right is the Elements Organizer. The center of the rose is somewhat brighter in Adobe Bridge(left).  When the file is viewed side-by-side in Photoshop CC and Adobe Bridge they look the same as shown below:   I have a second BenQ SW 2700 monitor and I see the same differences when the images are on separate monitors.  My conclusion is that there's some difference in the way Photoshop Elements Organizer renders an image fi

7 x 10 is a standard size for Strathmore Cardstock... need a program to create a printable document, also a printer that will print a 7 x 10 doc, to be later folded

Why can I not have JPEG format as default  instead of PSD format when saving ?  ( I allways keep the RAW file as well)

have elements 2024 where is the search button, search funtion, search for a picture.... I've been going around in circkes with the BOT chat thing

When importing photos from my phone to PSE, they used to go to my list of folders in the order of the dates. I hadn't used the PSE for a while, and now, it is putting them in as a sub folder of an older date. I don't know why they are kept separate from the other folders on the bottom.  (Please see attached file.)  On line, I have not been able to find out how to fix this issue because it is difficult to explain.  A picture shows it better. I'd also like to know of a paid site where someone could log into my computer and give me personalized instruction on how to organize my pictures. Looking for PSE information on line has been an extremely frustrating experience.Thank you.

I tried to incrementally update my catalog and somehow I lost all photos when I open elements.  I tried to restore the catalog but Elements wants me to find a .tly file.  I searched my hard drive and couldn't find one.  How can I get back my photos and albums?  I am using Windows 11.

On my new Mac in elements 24 it dose not show the picture in the downloader, just a blue thumbnail?

I purchased Photoshop Elements 2024 (version 24.0) in December for my new MacBook Pro M3 Pro Silicon. I have never been able to install it. Initially the OS was Sonoma 14.2.1. Now it is Sonoma 14.3.1. I have re-downloaded the installer (Photoshop Elements 2024.app) several times but it remains identical to the one I downloaded in December (cmp in Terminal). When I run the installer, it says "Sorry, installation failed. An unknown error has occurred. (Error Code: 1)". I paid for it and I would love to get it installed and running.

Are there any known issues with PE2024 & Mac OS Sonoma?I have just updated from PE 2020 running on  Mac OS Ventura, and seeing there have been issues with Photoshop and Sonoma , I am leary of upgrading to Sonoma.What has  been your experience?

Hello:I just downloaded Elements 2024.  I assumed (yes, I know what is said about "assume") that all my photos from Elements 2022 would transfer over.  I saw the pop-up asking me if I wanted to convert the files from Elements 2022 to Elements 2024, and I clicked "yes."  When I went to view the photos in Elements 2024, I saw that there were photos that were missing.  They're all in Elements 2022, but some are missing from Elements 2024.  It appears that the only photos that transferred over were the ones that I edited in Elements 2022 and saved in jpg format -- the photos that were in raw format did not transfer over.  Thankfully, I did not uninstall Elements 2022.What did I do wrong?  How can I fix it?  Thank you for your help.

In some maps no miniatures of some photos are shown. The can be seen in the maps on de harddisk without a problem. If I open in Organizer the photo for editing in the Editor, there is no problem to edit the photo. If I save the photo it still cannot be seen in the Organizer as a miniature. Even when I copy the photo if a different format, or copy in windows the photo an import it in Organizer it wil not appear as a miniature in Organizer. What is going wrong what did I wrong?

I am using Photoshop Elements 2024 and I am unable to find the PDF Presentation function. My File -> Automation Tools is greyed out. That is the location that I suspect it should be located. I am using Advanced mode.

I recently purchased a physical copy of Photoshop Elements 2018.  I installed from CD and would like to use Organizer to view, edit,and organize my photos.  I have attempted to import photos from a single folder (with many subfolders) on my Windows 10 PC many times.  For the first several times, the import window would do its thing, count the files imported, and otherwise look like it was working, but on finishing, Organizer would only show the message "No media available. Click 'Import' to add media" in the main window.  This happened no matter how many times I imported photos.  My settings were all fine - showing all files, "All Media" was shown with no signs, viewing all media types.  I tried creating a new catalog, closing and reopening and restarting.I then gave up for a few days, and opened Organizer again recently.  Now, a VERY small subset of photos shows up in Organizer (none of the images in the parent folder, and only 3 of 42 subfolders).&n
