Photoshop Elements

Hi  I have just downloaded Photoshop Elements 2024 onto my iMac M1 2021 machine running Monterey 12.7.2 on a trial for 30 days as a replacement for Apple Photos.  But at my first try, i have been unable to load any photos from my iPhone14 and although Organizer recognises the phone, it responds with "No valid files found"  I have 14,000 photos on my pone so the program should respond with some??? I have changed the settings on the phone>Transfer to Mac or PC> Keep originals I have changed the iMac Settings>Privacy & Security>Full Disk access> for both Elements and Organizer. Are there other settings to change?Any help will be appreciatedThanks

When I try to do a SAVE AS, the save window ignores the previous SAVE AS setting (almost always jpeg) and opens with Photoshop option. After I change this, save the file as a jpeg, and try to quit, Elements insists on asking if I want it to overwrite the original file. How do I get Elements 2024 to (a) keep the save as option I've chosen and (b) NOT ask to save after I've saved in my preferred format? I do not see any preference options that address these points. If I can't change this behavior, I'll go back to using the 2020 version.

Ich habe das neue Photoshop Elements 2024 und vermisse die Funkrtion eigene Stile zu speichern!Warum wird das verwehrt? Ältere Versionen konnten das doch.

I have a Moto G8 Plus mobil with GPS geotagging.When I import the photo from mobil it do not show up in 'Place Tagged' view.But then I ia looking at the 'Information' section (Media selection) I see the GPS information. If I import the samt photo into my Synology Photo machine, I can see that the place found is correct.Questin:-Is there samething wrong with the convertion/reading the GPS geotagging from my Moto G8?Sending the photo.Thanks for your help.Your sindererly Peter Hansson (Sweden)

i am trying to switch from acdsee to PSE - can somebody tell me what the advantage is ti importing into a catalog vs working directly off of OS directory tree ?  seems like an unnecessary extra step in workflow 

Has my Elements gone bad, or is it just me from not using it regularly this year??1) The bottom left Color blocks for foreground/background: they only half fill with a color2) The color picker box in the middle: what are the stacked lines of rainbow colors on top?  

Hello, Im a home user of Photoshop Elements, and I would like to request some features, because I tried to follow some tutorials but these features are not on Elements and I cant continue to follow the tutorials, I hope Elements can add these, to help also us that have not many possibilities to have other softwares, that could help us that are home users for hobby or simple study of features or like to modify photos:  1) Color look up2) Selective color3) Curves4) Mixer Brush Do you think is some of these be possible to add also on Elements for us? Thank you in advance for the help 😢

I have made many family DVDs using older versions of Elements, the last version was, I think, 2013.   I got a Mac in 2014 and Elements was not available for a mac.  I therefore used Final Cut Pro.  My home DVDs go back 20 years and some are no longer playing.  So, there is a bright shining 2024 version I could buy for my mac, but from what i have read, it looks more suited to films for "socials" rathe than DVD.  Also, key quetion,  would I be able to import my old Elements DVDs into the new version.  I am unable to import them into Final Cut Pro to fix and reburn. Thank you.

I have been trying to back up my 2023 Elements Organizer so that I can restore it to the 2024 version.  I have tried every different backup option (even though I want to do a full backup) and have restarted my computer several times.  I've closed all programs, got rid of all missing files, and everything else I can think of doing, but it still crashes.  I am attaching a crash report and I have sent several to Adobe.  I'd appreciate some help.  Thanks so much.

I'm currently using Photoshop Elements 2022 Organizer to manage my collection of images.  Recently I've been generating some files in Photoshop 25.3.1 that exceed the 2 GB limit for storage as .psd files.  I'm then forced to store them as .psb (format for large files).  However the 2022 Elements Ogranizer won't import .psb files using File > Get Photos and Videos > From Files and Folders.  Would upgrading to the 2024 version solve this dilemma?  I've verified that there's only one instance of the specific .psb file I'm trying to import.  Since .psb is an Adobe file format, it seems as though support for that format should be consistent across products.  New feature request maybe?   I also find that there are some .psd files for which the Elements 2022 Organizer will not display a thumbnail image, rather it just puts up an icon that looks like a torn page as appears below, suggesting that it must think there's something w

Grüße an die Community!Ich habe das Problem, dass ich mit Elements 2024 keinen Kreisring erstellen kann.Ich nutze das Formwerkzeug, allerdings werden alle Formen (Rechteck, Elipse, etc.) automatisch mit Farbe ausgefüllt, welche ich nicht entfernen kann.Kann mir jemand sagen, wie ich einen einfachen Kreisring erstellen kann?Ich sage schon mal vielen Dank.

Hello :After applying the latest update of Photoshop Elements 2023 (version 21.0) released this month (april 2023) some of the fonts installed on my Mac system no longer show in the PSE Font menu.  After investigation, it turns out that my font (Chalkduster.ttf) a legacy Mac TT font, is in the /System/Library/Fonts/Supplemental folder and that PSE 2023 no longer loads fonts from this folder.  And under Monterey (I use 12.6.2) it is no longer possible to add the font to the system folder and to disable the font in the Supplemental folder (at least with FontBook). I tried putting the font in ~/Library/Fonts but it seems that PSE ignores the content of the user font folder.   Is there a way around this ?  I really need this font active.Thank you

I purchased elements 13 a few years back but never used it but now want to install on laptop but get message key has been revoked. Is there anyway to get updated key      Thanks Paul

hi,whenever i try to use adjustments ander "quick" - the app freezescrashes and i get an error notice. i use an Imac, Sonoma 14.2.1. BTW, I have also a Macbook air, and no problems at all there. any ideas how to solve the problem?Thanks in advance!Alex 

I upgraded from 2023 to 2024 Premiere Elements including Photoshop and finding that the Photoshop app will lockup on me and I have to CTL ALT D and end the program in order to do anything further. Not sure what the issue is but it is VERY annoying

I created a file to work on photos for a contest.  The photos in that 'contest options' file are a copy-paste collection of photos from my other files.  Organizer will NOT import it because it has duplicate photos.  How can I get it to download it?  I can't find any setting to allow the duplicates.  When it shows the message that those photos weren't imported, there is no option to tell it to include them.  I can do that is LR, but I haven't moved LR from old computer to new one yet & need to process the photos asap.  Any suggestion or solutions will help.   My brower is Firefox & I am running Windows 11.  Thanks ahead of time. 

new OS will not work with photoshop elements 12 ,so I restall the OLD back & Photoshop E-12,connect /retry dont work after ender my #'s & activation/deactivation dont have any mac under it.

Not sure what happened here but I have been removing many duplicate pictures that have accumulated over time.  Though tedious, I have been able to eliminate the duplicate pictures and have all pictures properly connected.  However, on my final test, at ensuring all files are properly connected I am getting an indication there is (one?) file not connected but it does not have a name and I cannot find the file or the picture in PSE 2024 Organizer the delete it.  I am attaching a screen shot of the error. Any suggestions?

I bought photoshop elements several years ago on a DVD and installed it on my pc. It is said that I can install it on two machines. Now I've got a new tablet without DVD-drive and would like to install the software there. Is it possible? How does it work? Thank you.

I have a new computer and it has less internal expandable drive space. I've been using Adobe Elements from almost the beginning and have over 100,000 photos and close to a 1tb in files.  I guess it's time to move it over to one of my NAS devices. My question is any recommendations on which one handles pictures better for viewing pictures while away from home? I have both a QNAP and a Synology NAS. My second question is how do I move my Elements Organizer catalog to the new computer and access the pictures after I move them to one of the NAS devices?

Hey,  My god old MacBook Pro 2016 died a few weeks ago so I needed to replace it. Sadly I did not manage to install Photoshop Elements on my new MacBook Pro 2023 14" M2 Pro, 16GB RAM, Ventura 13.2.1. I downloaded the installer from my Adobe Account. While installing the software, it said „Adobe Elements 2019 Organizer" ist beschädigt und kann nicht geöffnet werden. Es empfiehlt sich, das Objekt in den Papierkorb zu bewegen."No matter if I put the file into trash bin or not, the installation continues. Afterwards, I tried to open the Photo Editor - it said "Your application install seems to be damaged,Please reinstall the application." Reinstalling did not change anything. After reading some threads in this community, I used the CC Cleaner to deinstall all files and install it again - did not work.  Please tell me how I can use the product I purchased on my new Mac! 🙂  

When trying to use the text tool in Elements 24, why does a text in a foreign language show up every time?  I have to delete it every time before I can add my text.
