Photoshop Elements

Does anyone know if there's a list of people who specifically assist with Photoshop Elements, not just full Photoshop? Ideally it's a list of people who could provide training and help to organize photo catalogs.  

I laboriously entered captions onto hunderds of pics.  I created a slideshow and the captions do not appear.  Not only that, but the field does not seem to accept a copy/paste.  Is it true that all captions have to be re-typed even though the data is there on the pic?  Seems hard to beleive after all these years of Elements.

Dear, I am new to both Photoshop Elements and Mac M2. Please suggest if Photoshop Elements 2023 is compatible natively with Mac M2 processor? If I need Rosetta to use Photoshop Elements 2023 for now. Can I download an upgraded version of Photoshop Elements 2023 in the future ?  Thank you so much

I've just downloaded PS2024, installed it, but now I''m facing a "Buy Now" screen which I can't get past.

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, ich habe seit heute ein kleines Problem mit den speichern von Fotos bei Adobe Photoshop Elements 2024. Hatte heute Nachmittag ein Foto in Camara RAW 16 in HDR bearbeitet und wollte es als Jpeg speichern, es ging nur PSD. Danach konnte ich gar nicht mehr direkt als Jpeg speichern, es ging nur Jpeg 200. Benutzt hatte ich eine Sony a580 mit den SAL 16-50 mm 2.8 von Sony. Nach den speichern wurde auch Jpeg dann angezeigt und nicht ARW.

I have just upgraded to elements 2024 and have successfully imported My Catalogue from elements 2020 but i have 2 other catalogues of different names but cannot seem to find anyway of importing them. Please help because i am sure it is possible. I am using elements on a windows 11 pc.

Backup of the catolog in photoshop elements does not succeed. Before the backup is finished I get the message:There was a problem in Adobe Elements 2024 Organizer and it needs to be closed.This occurs when backing up only the catalog files as well as when making full backup.

I have downloaded and am using Elements 24 which is great BUT:Every time I boot up my laptop or open PE24 I get an error message which suggests nothing will work although it has no effect on the app.  However it creates a nest of folders which I don't otherwise have: AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Common/LUTs.  The LUTs has two more folder inside it - Input and Output and both of these are empty.  How can I stop this happening?  I have completed and submitted the ino option on the error message and provided details for a response but got nothing back

I have PSE 2021 bought via download and never had a DVD. I recently put it on a new computer (Windows 11) using my serial number. I want to brighten some faded old photos before putting them in the video editor. The organizer and the video editor will open but for the photo editor it says to insert DVD or download a trial.  I don't see any way to use the serial number for this. Any thoughts? Or other ways to brighten a photo? Thank you!

Ich habe PS Elements 14 heute auf zwei Geräten installiert: PC und Laptop.Öffne ich das Programm auf einem Gerät (egal, welchem), bekomme ich die Meldung, daß die Seriennummer bereits von der maximal zulässigen Anzahl Computer verwendet wird.Ja, das Programm war bis ca. vorletzte Woche auf zwei Geräten installiert, allerdings sind beide Geräte nicht mehr in Benutzung, die Installationen nicht mehr vorhanden. Ich habe die zwei alten Geräte nicht abgemeldet, also gehe ich (wie von Adobe vorgeschlagen) in das Adobe Konto zur Übersicht der aktivierten Geräte, um da für Ordnung zu sorgen.Dort aber steht, daß keine aktivierten Geräte vorhanden sind.Wie kann ich diese Situation lösen?

I have just upgraded from PSE11 to PSE 2024. All Catalog’s converted successfully & all photo’s viewable. I have Slideshows created by PSE11, which I can see via File Explorer on Windows 11 as .psess files. I can also see the Videos I created -  .wmv files (Find – Media Type – Video), which I previously output to VCD.I never had Premiere Elements, so did not output to DVD, but have more Videos, so now have Premiere Elements 2024.I would like to output the old PSE11 created slideshows to a higher quality than VCD to the highest quality (seems to 1080p HD) for each viewing media option available now, but neither PSE2024 or Premiere Elements 2024 can access the Slideshows to allow any editing or new Export option.I did a Find-Media Type – Media Type – Projects.Did a double-click on .psess file and gotPressed OKThere does not seem to be a convert Slideshow option and it seems the structure of file to old for PSE 2024 to convert automatically.Adobe Support were unable to

I just installed Photoshop Elements 2024 and downloaded about 12 images for a test drive.  Elements disconnected all those images from the folder in which they resided and I don't seem able to reconnect.  I had this same issue in my Elements 2018 and thought hat Adobe would have corrected the issue by now.  Any suggestions? Something I'm doing wrong?    

I just installed PSE 2024.   My C drive is a SSD.  My D drive is a large hard drive.  By default PSE installs the catalog on the C drive.  How do I force PSE 2024 to load all my media (photos) on the D drive? Thanks in advance

Does PSE 2024 support lens chromatic aberration correction (in Camera RAW) ?

Hi!  I recently upgraded to Adobe Elements 2021 and (finally!) decided to make use of Organizer to manage my photo media. Most of my photos are in both, JPG and RAW format. Both versions appear next to each other on the Organizer grid. However, I consider that filtering out one of the two formats would be convenient and helpful in some workflows, but I can not find the feature in Organizer. Media Type selector in View may just select media by types regardless of the respective file formats. So: is there a way to selectively monitor stacks of just JPG or just RAW photos in Elements Organizer? Kind regards,Anton    

I'm trying to start working with Elements 2024 over two days now but the only info I get is:" Can not execute your request due to a program fault".What can I do to make a success of my 'free testing period' with elements-'24

I have a problem when using the Organizer reconnect function. From the Organizer display, when I select File>Reconnect>All Missing Files, I get a list of a few dozen files that are missing from the Organizer. When I go to the last location for these, I discover the files are in fact not there and should not be there. They have either been deleted or were moved to another location. The files that were moved are correctly found in their new locations. The question is: What action can I perform so that the reconnect function will not encounter these situations for these files? Thanks,Ken

I use Elements 2019 on Win10.Just went to open up image files  stored locally on the PC and about 80% of them have disappeared. There's 10 or so files where there used to be 100+. These include purchased stock art and personal photos. All file types, mostly jpg, most psd files seem to still be there but so many are gone I don't know exactly what to look for. I haven't intentionally  updated or changed anything recently, but I did notice a green square with a white checkmark icon on the photos, I don't know what that was - it doesn't appear any more.  Thanks in advance for help!

Schönen guten Tag! Ich arbeite (noch) mit Photoshop Elements 2019 und will schnellstmöglich eine neuere Version kaufen. Meine erste Frage: Wie sind Eure Meinungen zu Photoshop Elements 2024? Normalerweise erstehe ich nie das neueste Programm, sondern eher eines, das es bereits seit einem Jahr gibt. Zweite Frage: Genügt ein Upgrade zu kaufen? Kann ich das auch, wenn ich Photoshop Elements & Premiere (also mit Videobearbeitung) möchte? Ich danke Euch für Eure Meinungen und Inputs. 

I have always had issues with Elements.  I keep upgrading to the latest version hoping that Adobe finally cared enough to produce a decent upgrade.  The 2022 version is awful.  It either freezes, crashes, or uses all of my system's 32GB of RAM.  It now freezes every time I try to rotate an Apple HEIC photo.  Even when I just do one at a time.Adobe support, can you please stop making me pay for new "yearly" versions while you refuse to release patches to the product I already own?  How do I get Adobe suppoert's attention devoted to fixing these issues?

PSE v2024. Layer Mask contents not always showing up in the Layer Mask Thumbnail.Shows up using Alt+Click on thumbnail but not in the Stack.Anyone else experienced this or know how to resolve?Many thanksTerry (UK)

When I have a photo in which the faces were already analyzed and tagged and then I crop it using Photoshop Elements 2021 Editor, the tagged faces are in the wrong place in the resulting cropped photo. Although the tags are right, when I hover on the photo, the name tags are in some random (possibly the original) place.It isn't a problem when I edit before importing, but that defeats the purpose of combining the products.How do I fix this without manually removing and re-marking the faces? Is there any way to reanalyze a group of selected photos?Thanks

I recently purchased a bundle of Elements 2024 for Photoshop and Premier for MACI received the Download files and the activation serial numbers. When I copy and paste the serial numbers into the activation box I get a RED Activation FAIL message. How do I get these products activated?
