Photoshop Elements

Hi creators, I have lot of layers which i need to group individually with tha same layer name. Is thera way to group a single layer by layer name itself without renaming each group?

I downloaded Photoshop Elements 2023, and selected one of my catalogs, which are on an external drive, to update. The thumbnails display for each album, but there are no individual photos. To find them, the system tries to go through my computer files, not the separate drive. When I try to match them from the drive, I've so far had no luck. I tried importing them from the file, but am told they're already in the catalog. Since this is only one of a number of catalogs I have, I really need to know how to solve this. I use an iMac and Seagate drive.

Hello, I just got Adove Photoshop Elements 2023. When I attempt to add moving elements, whatever I select just goes solid grey when I go to play the effect. Any ideas on what to do? Thanks. KLS

Photoshop Elements- 2 questions about Skin Tan lines. I need detailed step-by-step instructions, please. (the bandaid clone tool does not do what we would like to look realistic).  1. How do I remove tan lines on leg at the bottom of shorts? The bandaid tool that matches area does not seem to be thr best approach.2. How do I make feet in high heels that are extremley white (tennis player has legs tanned but feet are white because of shoes). How do I make the feet tan. That are in black stappy high heels?

Hello,I'm trying to use Enhance->Moving Elements in Photoshop Elements 2023. In the preview everything looks great. But if I export the result the video quality is absolutely horrible and the video is also downscaled. I could not find anything in the preferences or anywhere else that would allow me to configure the video output bitrate or resolution. How can I get a high quality export?Thanks

I have elements 2020 and have see ads for presets that say they are compablable with Photoshop, but they do not specifically say photoshop elements. Does anyone know if external purachsed presets will work with photoshop elements and has anyone tried them.Do they really work and are they worth purchasing?

Or do I just need to do something extra to get it to work?Thanks so much for any guidance!

How can I preserve the image quality when importing a jpg to Elements 2023 from my samsung phone?   Before we upgradedto 2023 it was Perfect. every time.    Now all the jpgs are pixilated and useless.  Help!

Hello, I am having issues when I try ant cut and paste, im getting a box saying 'Could not use the content-aware tool because no pixels are detected' What does this mean, I use this all the time for years no problems.    [Typo in title edited by moderator]

I want to transfer my photos to an external hard drive because my scratch disk is full,. But something funny has been going on with my photos for awhile. Even when I import them once, they are imported again and again. I usually don't erase them from my memory card until I make my final edits.  I'm using a MacBook Pro, Monterey OS and Photoshop Elements  2020. Maybe it will help to look at the screenshot I have attached that lists my folders. Some of folders have no images in them.  Will this "funny stuff" with the folders affect my transferring images (25 GB) to a hard drive and then later trying to import certain folders to work with them?  

Onlangs licentie gekocht Adobe Elements 2023 voor € 99,--.  Geregistreerd account bij Adobe. Installatie gaat met problemen. # 1 Required components were not completely installed. Please reinstall etc.# 2 Online Services could no be initialized. Please reinstall etc. Meerdere malen programma opgehaald uit mijn Adobe account en geinstalleerd op mijn Mac.Foutmeldingen komen telkens terug. Cookies ?Als ik de Organiser open (na moeizame start) zie ik slechts 15% van mijn fotobestanden, die fysiek staan op externe SSD HD.Geen idee: Hoe nu verder ? Dit is de zoveelste teleurstelling met Adobe. By the way waarom is het programma niet in het Nederlands voor de Mac wel voor Windows ? Weer een teleurstelling. Ga ik naar support-site dan staan daar oplossingen in het Nederlands, maar dat is niet handig als het programma uitsluitend in het Engels is. Wie gaat mij helpen ?  

I installed PE2023 from PE2018.  I ran the conversion, and the catalog is empty? . Basic Question? is "My Catalog' the converted catalog?  Where would PE2023 save the converted catalog?

Resize doesn't new dimensions.

I have photos onm a CD that are in the Cloud. I never intentionally put them there. I want to be able to work on photos without being connected to the internet. I prefer not having to delete them or send them to the Trash in order to remove them from the Cloud. However, if that's the only way for removal, that's okay. Also, how do I stop photos from being automatically stored in the Cloud?  I'm using Photoshop Elements 2020 on a MacBook Pro. 

I just purchased the Photoshop Elements Upgrade and impossible to install software. I received a payment conformation email from PayPal, but no email with installment link, and no record of the purchase with my Adobe account. What am I to do, this is very frustrating and poor service. Its a joke I guess.

I am unable to launch photo editor in the elements program. I have been using it the last week. Today the progam lauched but nothing happens when I select Photo Editor.Thanks 

As per subject - image attached.PSE Version 21.0 (20230329.Git.master.77124fa)x64 on Windows 11 Pro 22H2Only a casual user so probably messed up a setting somewhere but help appreciated.

I'm using the "Process multiple files" command in PSE to put the titles on my photos for a slideshow. The problem is that it only gives you the option to choose a font, color, and size, but no outlining options. So, for example, if you choose white, the font will disappear over any white parts of the photo. Outlining in another color would solve this, but it's not an option. So I'm looking for a two-color font that will work in PSE if such a thing exists. Or any other solution that would make the titles visible over all parts of the photo.

I just bought a new Windows 11 computer and want to install my Photoshop Elements 11.  Install instructions state to click on setup.exe, but the file does not appear to exist on the install disc.  Inserting the disc into the DVD drive doesn not auto install and the folders don't seem to have the setup file.  What am I missing?

I regularly amuse myself making little cartoon collages by opening a background image then importing GIF or PNG images of various objects which (after clicking the "Move" tool) can be dragged onscreen and automatically become new layers which can then be selected and resized and repositioned as required to create a composite image. Suddely Elements won't let me do this anymore. It will only allow one file to be open on screen. If I drag in a second image from the bin it replaces the first image onscreen and also in the layers palette, which will only show one layer - the current onscreen image - whereas before it would show all imported images as layers. The original background layer is deleted from the palette and replaced by the new image as layer 0.Has Elements corrupted or have I accidentally changed some setting? ! Using Photoshop Elements 2021 running on Mac OS 13.4.1 on Intel iMac.  Recently updated Camera Raw to 15.5 and now get an error message when opening Nikon Z 6ii NEF file that they are not supported.  What is the fix/solution for this error? Thanks!

Hello, I use PSE 15 regularly, but had to reinstall it recently after a hard drive crash.  When I now get into PSE, the user interface is extremely small, including menu items, tools, layers, text, basically everything except the photo.  The UI is normal in all of my other apps.  I found an old topic in this forum (with even earlier versions of PSE, e.g. 13) where many people complained about the same thing.  The "fix" was to go into Preferences and change the UI Scale Factor to 200% which, when I tried it, was ridiculously large.  When using PSE 15 before the hard disk crash, I never had this problem.  I suspect there had been a software update that fixed it.  On my recent re-install of PSE, I did a check for updates, and there were none.  I'm assuming there are updates but just not being provided for older versions of the software. One suggestion was to reduce the monitor resolution in Control Panel > System > Display.  I'm
