Photoshop Elements

After installing Apple OS update to Ventura 13.4.1 on my MacBook, PSE 2021 does not open.

When I open photoshop elements 2021 photo editor it creates a folder called "photo quotes".  How can I make it NOT create that folder

I was running Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 on my 2010 Mac Book Pro running Mac OS High Sierra Version 10.13.6, untilI started getting the green screen. Time for a new computer.Took it to a computer store to do a transfer on to a mew Mac running Ventura 13.4.1Not told of any issues doing the transfer, but after returning home one by one I opened all my programs and find I no longer have Photoshop Elements 11. Photoshop Elements 11 is still working on my Mac Book Pro. What could have happened and what is my choice for upgrade / replacement. TY 

After editing photos in editorial workspace successfully, I switched to Organizer and was able to get them into a catalog,  I can view the thumbnails there.  Then I switched back to Editorial workspace, and the images are no longer there.  I clicked Open Recent edited.  Nothing.  Went to Explorer, etc, etc and it always says the folder is empty.  

I have connected a wi-fi multipurpose unit to a new PC.If I opt to Print the PS Elements found it straight away. But if I want to scan to it there is no WIA device found.  How can I add it, please?

This started happening a few months ago.  I am trying to straighten a photograph in RAW format.  I made sure to click on "fill in the edges."  The edges are not being filled in.  In addition, I am now getting a popup telling me that I have to create a layer.This never happened before.  I don't know anything about layers, and I don't know why Premier Elements is telling me to create a layer.  And I don't know why, when I straighten a photo, the edges are not being filled in.

Is there any way to export a folder and all its subfolders from Elements Organiser 2019? When I export a folder, it only exports the files in the main folder, but not any subfolders. How do I include these, and retain the folder structure? Thanks,David

I'm using Photoshop Elements 2020 and would like to know if it's possible to have ALL edits made to my raw file saved to the .xmp sidecar. As it is, only the edits made in Camera Raw are saved to the .xmp file, and any additional edits made in the main editing window are not. These additonal edits can only be saved in the .psd, .jpeg, etc. formats. I usually save the file to .psd first, because this file being just as large as the raw file (around 50 mb), I assumed it retained much more data/information from the original raw file than a .jpg would - right? (for when I want to go back & do continuing editing up the road).  The .jpg files are small (5-10 mb), so I believe that most of the unused information from the raw file is lost when converting to .jpg. So I end up with 2 huge files, .rtf and .psd, of 50+ mb ea., plus the small .xmp sidecar file, and then the final .jpg. I would prefer to not have to save that huge .psd file, and just have ALL edits saved to the .xmp file fo

Liebe Gemeinde,nach dem Umstieg auf PS Elements 2023 verzweifle ich am Organizer.Bilder werden teilweise in der Voransicht des Organizers nurin einer Vergrösserung und dafür nur teilweise angezeigt. Erst bei der maximalen Vergrösserung zeigt der Organizer das gesamte Bild an.Das ist zum sortieren und auswählen völlig unpraktikabel. Hab ich hier ein Einstellungsproblem oder kennt jemand das Phänomen aus eigenem  Erleben ? Gruss aus BerlinMichael

Nach Neuinstallation ist im Editorfenster die Auswahlleiste schnell/Assistent/Experte nicht verfügbar. Beim Laden einer Datei wird automatisch der Schnellmodus geladen. Das ist sowohl in der Vers. 2019 als auch 2023 gleich. Vielleicht hat jemand eine Idee. Eigentlich benötige ich nur den Expertenmodus

I just bought Premiere Elements in a box for my PC. The redemption code was inside the box. I installed Elements.  When I open the App and Photo Editor, I'm sent to Free Trial.  I already paid for it.  What can I do to get the phot editor to work?

I have finally upgraded to PSE 2023.  I have two Macs: a MBP 2015, which has PSE 15 installed on it, and a newer M2 Mac, which has the clean install of PSE 2023 on it.On the MBP I attempted to run "Uninstall Adobe Photoshop Elements 15.app" but it fails with the following:“{C6EE21C5-B5A7-4062-8BDD-F59EFD731828}.app” needs to be updated.The developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version of macOS. Contact the developer for more information.I suspect it must be a 32-bit app, which of course isn't supported from Big Sur onwards.How can I uninstall Photoshop Elements 15 now?  Can Adobe provide an update to this uninstall app so people can remove these older versions of PSE?  What happens if I attempt to manually remove PSE15?  Thanks,David

I keep active catalogs on an external drive.  I keep catalog backups on another external drive.  One catalog's structure I do not like, want to correct.  First, it appears in both "Custom Location" AND "All Users".  If I open that catalog name in custom location, many photo thumbnails have no pictures.  If I open the exact same name in all users, ALL photos appear, and are connected to source files - only -- some are stored on that desired external drive, even more are stored on the computer's C drive, and I do not want this, want to consolidate ALL onto the external drive.  SO:  I opened the all users catalog, confirmed all photos connected to source files (in either one, or the other location, as mentioned) - and ran a full backup, to the external "backup" drive (successfully - no messages about need to reconnect photos)  - THEN I restored to the other external drive (for active catalogs), but to a new folder/new location.  Backup ran succ

I know I should have upgraded before now, but finally I plan to do it. I know to do a complete backup of my catalogue before starting. My question is, is the update designed to go seemlessly from photoshop elements 11 and will it read my current catalog for the organizer? I currently have about 50,000 photos cataloged. Font too small to read - help?

I am at a loss on how to create an album in photoshop. I had a photo program call Picasa that I loaded all my pictures from to photoshop.  1,300 of them, probably not a lot to you but to me it was a lot.  I also along the way imported loads of cell phone pictures, so the dates in the folders were  all over the place not in any order.  I created a bunch of albums to help sort the mess.  My goal was to sort all the pictures by interest children’s vacations etc.    When I tried to move the pictures to the album some of them did not go over.  I was dragging them from the folder to the album. When I tried to look for them, they went to different folders. I also found that if I double clicked on a folder all the pictures come up.  Is that normal, should I just go from the main pictures and not the folders to place them in my album?     Also, if I delete a picture from the folder will it also delete the picture from the album? If possible

Help! I've just purchased Elements 2023 and am migrating all of my photos into the Organizer now. I had previously been using Lightroom 6 which I loved. However, I'm not going to pay the monthly subscription. My current issue is that the font size in Elements is downright ridiculous. I've adjusted my Victus HP Gaming laptop display up to 175% with little help.If I cannot increase Organizer display font, I'm not sure if this will even be usuable. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Hello,We have a user that has thousands of photos saved in multiple directories on a server we are going to decommission. Because we are moving to a cloud based solution for files, I figured photos that are accessed multiple times a day would be best suited for a NAS instead. The plan is to copy all the pictures into a parent folder on the NAS and then subfolders under that by year. Once I copy the photos, what should I do in Elements to make sure the catalog can go back to the NAS for data and keep all the tags and data this user has input for all of these years? I know I should back up the catalog but would restoring it after the move know what to do? I don't want him to lose years of work.

Windows 10 , Photoshop Elements 2022 , Icloud for Windows I have a problem using Elements 2022 to organise images working with Icloud for Windows. If there are images in a folder in my C:\Pictures folder I can rename the folder via Organiser to be represent the images. However the Icloud photos are synced to my C:\Pictures folder and because they are cloud based the iCloud app won't allow renaming/moving of photos into a different folder. I wanted my workflow to use Organiser to identify the images in the iCloud folder and move them to a folder just for those images. Therefore I can only see two options- duplicate the images (there are 20K images) to allow Organiser to sort them into folders- make Local Albums instead of Folders.  Does anyone have a workflow for using iCloud for Windows with Elements?

I want to be able to transfer my tag lists from one catalog to another without retyping.  Is there a way of doing that?

I am having problems getting my lines to a consistent level and getting rid of shading on the drawing.  I am new to photoshop elements  Attached are pics of the photo I am using and the results I came up with.  Any tips on what to do to improve welcomed.  This is going to be a coloring book for adults for a cage free no kill feline rescue center

When trying to select the background to make it invisible, when selecting the area to delete, the system overcompensates and removes more area than what is selected.  It also end up striating lines throughout the image.  I uninstalled the program and reinstalled, and it initially worked a bit better, but then reverted back to having the same issue.  I've never had this issue previously and I usually got the results I needed until now.  

My normal procedure is to open Photoshop Elements 2018 after putting my SD card in and then copy from the sd card to Elements where I view them and work on them. Sometimes, I find one that I want to send to someone so I will copy it and then put it in a file on my desktop. I can then go to that file and email it or whatever. What I am finding is that when I don't need the file anymore on my desktop and delete it----then I go back into Elements and the picture shows but when I click on it, it says searching for the file and can never seem to find it. What am I doing wrong?
