Photoshop Elements

I have finally upgraded to PSE 2023.  I have two Macs: a MBP 2015, which has PSE 15 installed on it, and a newer M2 Mac, which has the clean install of PSE 2023 on it.On the MBP I attempted to run "Uninstall Adobe Photoshop Elements 15.app" but it fails with the following:“{C6EE21C5-B5A7-4062-8BDD-F59EFD731828}.app” needs to be updated.The developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version of macOS. Contact the developer for more information.I suspect it must be a 32-bit app, which of course isn't supported from Big Sur onwards.How can I uninstall Photoshop Elements 15 now?  Can Adobe provide an update to this uninstall app so people can remove these older versions of PSE?  What happens if I attempt to manually remove PSE15?  Thanks,David

I keep active catalogs on an external drive.  I keep catalog backups on another external drive.  One catalog's structure I do not like, want to correct.  First, it appears in both "Custom Location" AND "All Users".  If I open that catalog name in custom location, many photo thumbnails have no pictures.  If I open the exact same name in all users, ALL photos appear, and are connected to source files - only -- some are stored on that desired external drive, even more are stored on the computer's C drive, and I do not want this, want to consolidate ALL onto the external drive.  SO:  I opened the all users catalog, confirmed all photos connected to source files (in either one, or the other location, as mentioned) - and ran a full backup, to the external "backup" drive (successfully - no messages about need to reconnect photos)  - THEN I restored to the other external drive (for active catalogs), but to a new folder/new location.  Backup ran succ

I know I should have upgraded before now, but finally I plan to do it. I know to do a complete backup of my catalogue before starting. My question is, is the update designed to go seemlessly from photoshop elements 11 and will it read my current catalog for the organizer? I currently have about 50,000 photos cataloged. Font too small to read - help?

I am at a loss on how to create an album in photoshop. I had a photo program call Picasa that I loaded all my pictures from to photoshop.  1,300 of them, probably not a lot to you but to me it was a lot.  I also along the way imported loads of cell phone pictures, so the dates in the folders were  all over the place not in any order.  I created a bunch of albums to help sort the mess.  My goal was to sort all the pictures by interest children’s vacations etc.    When I tried to move the pictures to the album some of them did not go over.  I was dragging them from the folder to the album. When I tried to look for them, they went to different folders. I also found that if I double clicked on a folder all the pictures come up.  Is that normal, should I just go from the main pictures and not the folders to place them in my album?     Also, if I delete a picture from the folder will it also delete the picture from the album? If possible

Help! I've just purchased Elements 2023 and am migrating all of my photos into the Organizer now. I had previously been using Lightroom 6 which I loved. However, I'm not going to pay the monthly subscription. My current issue is that the font size in Elements is downright ridiculous. I've adjusted my Victus HP Gaming laptop display up to 175% with little help.If I cannot increase Organizer display font, I'm not sure if this will even be usuable. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Hello,We have a user that has thousands of photos saved in multiple directories on a server we are going to decommission. Because we are moving to a cloud based solution for files, I figured photos that are accessed multiple times a day would be best suited for a NAS instead. The plan is to copy all the pictures into a parent folder on the NAS and then subfolders under that by year. Once I copy the photos, what should I do in Elements to make sure the catalog can go back to the NAS for data and keep all the tags and data this user has input for all of these years? I know I should back up the catalog but would restoring it after the move know what to do? I don't want him to lose years of work.

Windows 10 , Photoshop Elements 2022 , Icloud for Windows I have a problem using Elements 2022 to organise images working with Icloud for Windows. If there are images in a folder in my C:\Pictures folder I can rename the folder via Organiser to be represent the images. However the Icloud photos are synced to my C:\Pictures folder and because they are cloud based the iCloud app won't allow renaming/moving of photos into a different folder. I wanted my workflow to use Organiser to identify the images in the iCloud folder and move them to a folder just for those images. Therefore I can only see two options- duplicate the images (there are 20K images) to allow Organiser to sort them into folders- make Local Albums instead of Folders.  Does anyone have a workflow for using iCloud for Windows with Elements?

I want to be able to transfer my tag lists from one catalog to another without retyping.  Is there a way of doing that?

I am having problems getting my lines to a consistent level and getting rid of shading on the drawing.  I am new to photoshop elements  Attached are pics of the photo I am using and the results I came up with.  Any tips on what to do to improve welcomed.  This is going to be a coloring book for adults for a cage free no kill feline rescue center

When trying to select the background to make it invisible, when selecting the area to delete, the system overcompensates and removes more area than what is selected.  It also end up striating lines throughout the image.  I uninstalled the program and reinstalled, and it initially worked a bit better, but then reverted back to having the same issue.  I've never had this issue previously and I usually got the results I needed until now.  

My normal procedure is to open Photoshop Elements 2018 after putting my SD card in and then copy from the sd card to Elements where I view them and work on them. Sometimes, I find one that I want to send to someone so I will copy it and then put it in a file on my desktop. I can then go to that file and email it or whatever. What I am finding is that when I don't need the file anymore on my desktop and delete it----then I go back into Elements and the picture shows but when I click on it, it says searching for the file and can never seem to find it. What am I doing wrong?

Hello All, Maybe someone can help me. I have tried to contact suppport and they told me to come here. I have rebooted my desktop and laptop over the years not remembering to deactive my product photoshop elements 13. The chat support said they can't dectivate the product as they used to in the past because i don't have a subscription and I have reached the maximum allowed computers. Does anyone know other then having to pay out the butt for a new update or get on a subscription to use my serial number and use my paid product on my new desktop? Any information would be gratefully appreicated. Thank you kindly in advance.

HelloI am currently trialling PSE 2023 but there is a problem that was also in PSE 2021.  Using the 'Graphics' that pop up on the right, if I use 'Show All', there are 32 graphics that display blank with a blue triange in the top right corner of each.  The first is named 'Baby' and the last 'Yellow_bg_Leafs'.  If I move one over the the jpg file to be edited, I get the message: 'The download failed. Either the server is currently unavailable, or your computer is disconected from the internet.  Check your connection and try again.'  All other graphics move across ok and there is no problem with the internet.  I have searched around and find that the following folder: 'C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\21.0\Locale\en_US\Photo Creations\photo quote\' has 32 folders and files with the same names.  I have PSE on two PCs and the problem is the same on both.  I am using Windows 10.  Are these files located in the wrong place?  How can I

can you edit videos on the 2021 version? if so how?

I have PSE 2023, when I use the menu option "Process multiple files something" under File, (I have the swedish version), it makes .png-files opaque when I only wanted to change size. So, it basically turns them into .jpg-files instead. I can do it in Paint shop pro, which is 15 years old software, but it can't resize items so for that I must use PSE 2023.  Am I doing something wrong to cause this?

 I get the above error when opening the organizer or other PS programs. Mostly I ignore it and click OK and it goes away and everything works fine. Anyway Id like to see if I can get rid of it. I see others have had the same issue for some years, but cant find a solution, other than call support which I asume I dont have. Nor do I want to go through the trouble talking with them. Usually the respose is, re install. It was a nightmare installing this the lastime, and I find it doesnt often solve problems. Has anyone be able to resolve this??Thank you.

The Recompose tool in Photoshop elements 2023 does not allow areas of protection or removal to be marked. Need help.

I'm trying to install Photoshop Elemens 18 on Windows 7 and keep getting the errorr "Can not validate the serial number or no internet found".  The software works fine on my windows 10 laptop but it has recently died.  How can I fix this issue?

I had high hopes for PhotoShop Elements 2023 for my new Mac M2max. The trial download went well, but Apple OS 13.4 wanted to invoke Rosetta to translate and run it. Translators and emulators eat storage, run apps slower, and are prone to premature non-support. I de-installed it immediately. The 6/21/2023 screen shot boasting M1+ performance seems highly misleading, "full support" (yep, I grant, that's not native, but still...). Somewhere in Adobe's pages and these forums, I found an October 2022 post assuring it would be "native." When, 2/32/2032? What gives?(I taught earler digital photo editors, then full PS and PSE for decades. I have kept 2 Intel Macs, one  with solid PSE-8, and one with freaky PSE-2022.)

Hi All, I will appreaciate your help with a confusing situation.  (Running PS Elements v19 on Windows 10). When I run "Reconnect -> all missing files" it says "Preparing files... X of 721" as it runs through all X files. Then the "Reconnect missing files" dialog box (for manually reconnecting) opens and in the "Files missing from catalog" list it has 406 items. If I exit from there and choose Find -> All Missing Files in the grid then it shows "479 items" in the bottom left corner.  (I checked that Visibility -> Show All Files is checked, View -> Media Types -> Photo/Video/Audio/Projects are all checked, and View -> Hidden Files -> Show all files is checked so I dont think I'm missing anything). How can I understand how many files I am really missing?  721, 406 or 479?   Why are these numbers different? Thank you for your help/advice! Ron

photos are loading up, but when I click on them there is nothing but a gray screen and ? mark

I was using Camera Raw 14.4 with my 2021 version of Elements. Now I have the 2023 version and trying to install 15.1, but it gives me the error code 131. I've installed the installer and clicked on help in the program to install the add on. No go.  I use RAW all the time for my drone DNG picture and now I'm locked out.  Help

Hello, I'm spec'ing out my next Windows PC, and I'd like to know if the latest Photoshop Elements makes use of multiple CPU cores and/or multiple GPU cores.  The discussions I find only pertain to Photoshop, not Photoshop Elements.  If the program is not agnostic to which CPU and GPU is in use, which CPU and GPU have most favorable performance (ie, Intel vs AMD vs Nvidia)?
