Photoshop Elements

Multiple Problems Upgraded to new computer - HP Spectre 360. After installing, the User Interface is Super Small in view - Saw something somewhere that this is a problem. How do I fix it? Today, downloaded some pix from camera.Due to small UI view, I hit browse to see where they were going. Then a diaog box came up asking me to log in to Adobe.Attempted Log in, the erred out saying password was wrong... Not. Hit the problems logging in, then erred out again?Went to troubleshoot & says      Problem found - DNS Server might not be available. Upgraded to Windows 11 somewhere in there, but I can't get in & I can't see it as UI is way to small to view. Can anyone help? Lfryklu Now wont accept Password? DNS Server?

I recently created a TIF image to use in an old Topaz program that I can not access through the 2023 Editor of PS Elements.  Then I tried converting the TIF to a JPeg and the Organizer crashed.  I got the following error message Assertion FailedProgram: Elements 2023 Organizer\PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exeExpression: sp->cinfo.comm.is_decompressorI did a chat with Adobe and they said this was a known problem which they are working on.  They recommended making a new catalog until the issue is fixed and not importing any TIFF files. However, that is a really time consuming and wouldn't perserve my file structure, keywords etc.I did read several posts here and located the offending TIFF in the vitual pictures folder and deleted it. The Elements Organizer opened......upon scrolling through the images.......I found one file with the hour glass still spinning ...the offending TIFF file again.  I deleted it.  I have closed and opened the Catalog several

 I'm a little confused on which option to take when resizing a photo.  For example:  The original photo size is 14.4 inches wide, 21.16 inches high, 180 resolutionand I change it to4 inches wide, 6 inches high, 300 resolutionWhich of the following is the best option?Bicubic, Bicubic Smoother, Bicubic SharperI've assumed the setting I made is reducing the size of the photo and have been selecting Bicubic Sharper. thank you in advance;Mike

Why can I no longer remove a photo from a specific album <No Albums> or delete a photo ! Error Deleting Media in Adobe Photoshop Elements 2020?

I have been using Photoshop Elements for quite a few years.  Have never had a problem.  Then, just a weel or so ago, I would double click on my Photoshop Elements 2019 to open it.  It would open to the screen that shows the different applications to open.  I mainly use the editor, so I clicked on that.  As usual, the small narrow black message would appear with the spinning gear. It would stay on this for several minutes and then would never open the editor.  Tried opening as administrator, but that also failed.  Really need some help on this as soon as you are able to.Thanks,Yok33

I've tried changing the picture mode of the black and white picture that I am trying to colorize, but to no effect. I have uninstalled PS Elements 2019 and re-installed PS Elements 2023. 

When I upgraded to 2023 it migrated the catalog. When i open organizer in Folder view it is slow in opening. When it does open if I select a folder the application hangs. It will on occasion open the folder but it takes a long time. I have a powerful Dell Alienware box and its not using hardly anyMem/CPU/Disk/Network.the App seems to be having a hard time reading the catalog. Once in the folder I can move from pic to pic without long delays. Any ideas. I am running Win 11.

I am using a Mac with the current operating system. Today I downloaded the new version of PSE and when it converted my catalogue, it didn't keep any of the folders in tact, I had no tags or keywords.... With close to 40,000 digital elements, the task of painstaking tagging and applying new keywords made the decison to restore my computer to a few hours prior to downloading PSE2021 easy. I'm going to try this again, but I need to know how I import my catalogue from the 2019 version to the current verson.

I want to batch convert thousands of TIF files to JPG on a network drive in a directory with over 100 subdirectories to a different network drive.  Will the batch convert process create the same directory/subdirectory steructure on the new drive? 

Hi peopleLast week I bought Adobe Photoshop 2023 for Mac on line - I got only half way through installin and got called away.  I tried to go through installation today but the Verifacation code from Adobe does not work - can anyone tell me what to do or who to contact?

Equipment： PC desktop / Windows 10 Home.Memory: 8 GB, Free space: 200 GB+Installation： clean installation，without any plug-ins (C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 2022\Plug-Ins only has an ini and in ico).Reproducablility: medium. Copy rectangule (with Rectangular Marquee Tool) then paste/move (with Move Tool) it from the same or another file causes the program freeze. Copied rectangules are all limitted within 1K ~100K pixes. The files are smaller than 100MB. After the procedure repeated about 20 or 30 times, Photoshop hangs forever (at lease hours) and has to be terminated by Task Manager. This bug re-occurs after remove and re-install Photoshop.

The cross hairs do not respond the mouses moving closely until it jump several pixels. To smooze the movement of the cross hairs, the screen has to be zoomed in until the size of the pixel is four or five times as the thickness of the crass hairs.

I'm thinking of updating to Ventura. Is Elements v20 compatible ?

Considering purchasing Elements and need to know if changing eye direction and even slight head direction is supported. Thanks!

I'm running my brand new Photoshop 24.2.0 on a new iMac OS 13.2.1 Ventura.  Its ruler inches are only displaying WHOLE inches.  Can't imagine what has happened with the quarters, eighths, sixteenths, etc.  Is there some sort of preference adjustment I'm missing?  Or, are these inch divisions just gone forever?  

I recently upgraded from Elements 2014 to the latest version.  When I open a new file to edit, I cannot perform any functions for a fully minute.  After that, everything works fine however.  I never encountered this issue with previous versions of PS Elements before.  It it because this version is now cloud based?

Je suis sur un noubeau Mac-mini M2 Pro 16g etilsemble y avoir un problème avec Photoshop 2023.L'utilisation de modification Tons foncés et Tons claires fonctionne bizarrement. Si je veux augmenter l'intensité des tons clairs, c'est l'effet inverse et même chose pour les Tons claires.même si je coché la case aperçcu...souvent ça ne réagit pas. En fait l'outil semble bizarre et mal conçu.Jamais eu ce problème avec les versions antérieures et l'ancien Imac. Je ne crois pas ue ce soit due au Mac mais vraiment un problème sur Photoshop Element 2023Quelqu'un a t'il rencontré ce même problème ?  Merci de votre aide focale79@gmail.com

Hi there, I'm running Photoshop Elements 2021 and use the Organiser to manage all my digital scrapbooking supplies. I have spent a long time tagging them so I can find things I want quickly. I want to install Photoshop on a different computer and I'm scared to lose all my keyword tags. I've saved the metadata to the files, exported the keyword tags and made a backup of my catalog so I can import it later BUT I've just discovered it's not saving the metadata to the png files (which most of them are?!)Any ideas?

I purchased and installed Photoshop and Premiere Elements 2021 in May/June 2021 and have been using it on only one and the same Windows 10 computer since then. Now it suddenly quit working. I can use the organizer but when I want to open a picture in Photoshop Elelemts it tells me that it needs a license. However, the version has been properly licensed on initial installation an I cannot find the license code from the initial installation but only the receipt from the vendor. In my Adobe account, release # 19 (i.e. Elements 2021)  is no longer visible, while I can still see my license for release # 17 which I had used on my previous computer.How can i reactivate the 2021 version (release 19)?

Hi.  I how do I get the layers panel to show?  It's greyed out in the Windows panel.  Of course, as soon as I post this, the program won't even work anymore.

I have Photoshop Elements 2022 and when I go to YouTube tutorials the Photoshop screen looks way different than mine. I'm guessing that on YouTube they are using a different version or something. When I try to use the magic wand, the tutorial says to go to Properties in the Window tab, but Properties is nowhere to be found.  Where is properties tab in photoshop elements 2022 My goal is to take out a subject from the picture and copy/paste it on my Word doc file to create a poster. I am using Windows 11.Can someone please help me with this?

How to download electronic 64 version of Photoshop Elements 15 on windows 10 (I have the disc and serial number never used before) I do not have DVD - adobe offers support on PSE 19 and 20 only.Your help will be appreciated!Alberto.

I need an answer from a Human, not the automated thing. I need information on ordering prints from Fugi through PE. I don't want to order unless I know what kind of paper the print will be made on. I have other questions as well. I need to get ahold of someone asap.
