Photoshop Elements

Purchased PS Elements 2022 from Microsoft Store last year. My old laptop died a couple of days ago. I bought a new one. Downloaded Elements. It asked for my product key. Don't have it. I do have my original MS purchase receipt. Spent an hour chatting with MS rep. He said there's nothing they can do and I need to explain the situation to an Adobe rep. Can find nowhere where I can connect live with Adobe (other than virtual agent) to explain the situation. Regrettably I didn't registern the program in my Adobe account when I bought it. MS has emailed me confirming that I paid for the program and that there's nothing they can do. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having a problem adding new place names for my US photo locations. Each time I try to add a new city it creates another 'path' listing: for instance United States, Florida, Miami instead of simply inserting Miami to the current United States Florida listing. It doesn't make any sense to me. I don't want to have multiple United States entries under Places on the right side of the page for each new city or state that I add for a location. Has anyone else run into or dealt with this same problem? I wish I could describe it better. Any assistance in how I can resolve it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much. 

Photoshop would not launch on my new Macbook Air (I used a timemachine backup to reinstall everything). I decided to delete, and reinstall from my Adobe account. That works fine on my partner's older mac. On my macbook air, the download happens and seems fine. I get the elements logo and click on it. Which opens the usual 'do you want to download this app' warning. Then nothing. No installation. No progress bar or wheel. Nada. What can I do? I need to get this working urgently 😞 

I am rebuilding a crashed Windows 7 system 64 bit. Photoshop Elements 2018 is re-installed but I can't seem to activate it. This should be easy as it is a purchase, not a subscription.  Adobe website and Chat are no help as the product is no longer "supported". 

I recently bought a Macbook Air M2 2022. It is running Monterrey 12.5. I installed my time machine back up, and all seemed good. Until I tried to launch Photoshop elements (which I purchased and ran fine on the previous macbook pro). Every time I try, I get 'Adobe P Elements 2020 quit unexpectedly). I've tried running from the application finder and the same happens. I ran some trouble shooting suggested on another thread. Help!

I have paid for download of Elements2023, next was asked for my password (to start download  ) Password not accepted. Changed password - not accepted. I cannot proceed to download no matter how many times I change password-none accepted.  Where do I go from here ?

Hello, I had an older version of the APE and just purchased thi one so that I could open those old files, but its not allowing me to access the layers to update my proo. Any suggestions before I have to completly start over. I am a novice. Thank you!!

I've recently gotten PSE 15. Everytime I go to open something, usually a jpeg, it defaults to opening it in camera raw. How do I turn this feature off?

I just downloaded Photoshop Elements 2023, and it looked like it installed fine. I can open Organizer workspace and import my photos but when I click Photo Editor, nothing happens. A box opens in the center of the screen so say "Loading Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor Workspace" (see attached screenshot) but after a couple of minutes the box disappears and nothing happens. I don't see the Editor workspace. I've uninstalled and re-installed to no avail.  Any suggestions? I'm running Windows 10.

How do I turn off Elements Auto Creation 2021 (for the Mac)? I don't want this running in the background and constantly sending pop up messages on my screen. I've seen some instructions for the PC version, but it doesn't seem to match options on the Mac.

I have amassed many duplicate images. Many of these are out of focus. Sometimes an image at 800KB will be sharp while an image at 500MB is out of focus.

I understand that I should be able to upload my Photoshop Elements photo archive stored on my Windows PC to an Acrobat Online account for sharing my photos and viewing the photos online. https://helpx.adobe.com/elements-organizer/using/access-media-using-online-account.html When I go to File tab in Elements Ver 18, there is no drop-down option for "Sign-in To Online Account" as stated in the above link. Any ideas on how to link my Photoshop Elements content to my online account? Thanks... Bill

I am using a trial version of Elements 2020 and although I think I set things up correctly, when I email a photo using the Share button in the Organizer, the message is sent but not the photo. I can email it to myself without any problem but I am unable to send the photo to my husband and therefore anyone else, I assume. Does anyone have a suggestion?

When I try to open an attachment it has a graph on it and a subscription windows blocks it. If I close the window, the whole thing shuts down. The rest of my photoshop works fine? Why won't these files open?thanks

I am using Photoshop Elements 2023.  Facial recognition works fairly well in this program, but if I am in a picture under media and I move to a persons face where it says "Is This John Doe (name example) it has a check box for YES and an X for NO.  On any person I click the check for yes it adds to that person.  The X does nothing to say NO that is not John Doe (example).  It of course continues to come up each time in the image since there is no way to say NO.  Anyone else have this issue or know a work around?  Check adds them if it is the correct person, but the X does nothing and each time you view the picture it continues to ask you if it is the wrong person.  

Advice please!I am considering purchasing PSE 23 and installing on W.10 l/top (HP 23" H.D. and i7) and am currently using PSE 12 on W.7 l/top. Is the transfer method for the catalogue largely unchanged - ie back up to hard drive and then restore to PSE 23 or should I anticipate problems? Guidance please for a fairly smart geriatric.Regards,Dikda

When working on a project, I like to hit the Save button every so often to save my work just in case my computer crashes or something.  But every time I do this in PSE it asks me if I want to Replace my original file. Why? In every other app I use when I hit CMD-S it just updates the file with any changes since the last save.  Is there a way to make PSE do that too? It's kind of annoying to have the Replace question pop up all the time.  Thanks. 

Hallo Zusammen,ich habe mir Photosshop Elements gekauft und es hat auch alles wunderbar funktioniert. Für meine gelegentlichen Anwendungen ist es völlig ausreichend. Nachdem ich den Mac neu installiert hatte wollte Photoshop ein Update. Wenn ich bestätige und sage "Bitte mach das Update" sagt Photoshop, dass es den Link zum Update nicht findet. Ich muss das Programm dann hart beenden. Wie kann ich Photoshop Elements 2021 updaten. Ich spreche übrigens von den Photoshop Elements Editor.Danke im voraus

I'm a new user of Photoshop (Elements 11) and have 2 large map adjacent images which I want to join into 1 large map, but I'm struggling to find / use Photomerge.Please can someone give me extremely simple instructions on which menu items to select ?(I'm an experienced PC user with 20 years experience on MS Office, Pro-Engineer, Catia, etc)
