Photoshop Elements

I have 5 successive photos of a bee taking off from a flower. (see attached for examples)I want to merge them into one photo, showing the bee at different stages of its flight.I just can’t get the layers to work properly. Thought of stacking the photos and erasing thru to each layer but can't make this work either. Any advice on how to get the layers or erasing (or other) to work? Thanks very much, Using PSE 18.

Hi all,I use photoshop Elements 15 and my Epson R2880 this has done all I need for years, today I'm trying to print a Jpeg image of my Son but after setting up as normal I get "cannot print due to program error" there are no changes to my system, the printer works fine, I have checked for Adobe updates but sytem checks up to date, I also tried a PSD image with the same results, any suggestions would be welcome ?Steve

My interest is family history. I find it frustrating on PE10 that the earliest date that can be set on a picture / doc is 1601. Can this be reduced??

Why has my Adobe Photoshop started to restrict the size when I create a new file? I'm 74 and struggle to understand computers, so would appreciate a simple-worded solution:)

Why do the programs not open from my toolbar? This is beyond frustrating. I need to access the software I pay for when I want to use it. Adobe how will you fix this so I can use what I am paying for?????????????????  

 My Photoshop stopped opening about a month ago.  I have spent over 13 hours with Apple senior techs, Best Buy Geek Squad and my own research -- to no avail.  I have uninstalled PS, downloaded a new version and reinstalled PS 2022 multiple times over the last few weeks.  Again, this has not helped.  The image below is what I see every time: "Adobe Photoshop cannot run on this computer because the minimum system requirement is Mac OS X version" I have the latest Macbook with the latest version of Monterey 12.5.  The Photoshop problem began when I had version 12.4.  Updating my OS did not remedy the Photoshop problem. I have the Apple M1 chip with 16 GB of RAM.  I believe I am running Rosetta 2, but who knows since it's not an app and not even the Apple tech can tell if I have it or not. Please help fix this issue!  I am very frustrated and behind on my work since I generally use Photoshop almost every day.Thank you.Teresa 

After editing a raw file in ACR I understand that if I open that file to Editer by pressing ALT OPEN COPY I should be able to open that same file again to make further adjustments i.e. making a stack for HDR photo.Elements will not reopen the file for me.  Am I missing something?

Zur Eingrenzung des Fehlers habe ich Kabel umgesteckt, Festplatten herausgenommen und den Rechner immer wieder neu gestartet.PSE 2022 Organizer hat bisher meistens gut funktioniert. Nach diesen Versuchen hat er jetzt plötzlich als Pfad einen älteren aber nicht mehr aktuellen Speicherplatz auf einer anderen Festplatte "D" für die Bilder ausgewählt.Ich habe versucht, diese Festplatte "D" abzustecken, dann im Organizer einige Bilder markiert, "Dateien/erneut verbinden" dann nimmt er als Pfad die richtige Festplatte "E". So wird der "neue" aber zuletzt gültige Speicherplatz der Bilder wieder registriert. Nur ist das unglaublich mühsam bei 140 000 Bildern. Bei "Alle fehlenden Dateien" beginnt er mit der Arbeit, friert dann aber ein und erledigt tatsächlich nichts. Wie kann ich also PSE erklären, dass er nur Bilder von "E" finden soll?Eine Idee wäre, den alten Bilderordner umzubenennen. So würde PSE ihn nicht mehr erkennen! Oder?Und wie schaffe ic

Mouse working weirdly in PSE 21 Organizer but is fine for PSE 21 Editor. No change in action using different mouse or trackball. Right click doesn't work, left click on menu items doesn't work, left click on full screen toggle causes window to bounce around. This happened once before but resolved updating trackball and PSE. Same process not helping now so installed fresh download of PSE 21 then PSE 22 but no change in mouse issue. I have Adobe Photoshop Elements edition 7 for windows. The program wont start at all anymore. I have tried to un-install the program and install it. Same result. What can be the problem? I use the program on a pc

I have been using Organizer for many years.Last night I got as far as the Initialization screen when the next screen displayed "Please wait while catalog is being loaded".After a brief period, the program closed down and I was back on my desktop.I have spent hours trying to solve this. Any suggestions? 

Hi,I am using Photoshop Elements,2022 with Windows 11. I would like to know how to add white space to a photo, either on top for a title or on the bottom for a caption. I know it can be done, I just don't know how. I would appreciate any help.  Thanks,Arlene

I am using the free trial of Elements to see if I wish to purchase and am not able to figure out how to export a photo back to my computer after editing.  Any advice would be appreciated!

I cannot launch the organizer from the PSE from the home window.  The "Loading the Elements Organizer Workspace" message shows but nothing happens.  I tried loading it by going to the exe file but that doesn't work either.The editor does work.  Using on a Windows 10 PC. Thanks.

New computer (Win 10), partial transfer of PSE12 from old to new, but didn't work. Uninstalled PSE12 as suggested in Community. Made multiple attempts to re-install from original DVD/CD. Each time, get "Data error (cyclic redundancy check". Nothing to help via "Troubleshoot". No other options but to exit the installer. Please help.

HELP PLEASE...Cannot use organizer without seeing the pointer. If I uninstall PSE will I loose all the images (hundreds) in organizer? Are they saved somewhere else? Pointer shows in Editor but not in Organizer.

I know I'm new to this updated version from Elements 9, but it should be intuitive enough to allow me the option to just open the jpeg file. Do I have to adjust some menu setting to do this? As it is, with version 9, I didn't have to go up to a drop down menu to delete images then were bad. Now I have an extra step to  delete. Why is it that I have to convert my RAW files, taken with my D500, to jpeg for editing? Why not just open the jpeg instead of converting the RAW file. Are these guys idiots? If I "open with" a RAW file from the Nikon NX software so I can have full control over editing, and it just converts it to a jpeg, what use is this software. I might as well shoot everything in jpeg and skip the delay in converting and forphiet, and where's the intyping spellcheck here? It couldn't come up with the propere spelling for forfit, which is wrong, and know internet checking either? Come on!That really pissed me off when it wanted to convert RAW to jpeg. What the&nbs

Skiller Photoshopper here trying to get into Elements. One thing that I cannot get a handle on is how to switch brush colors, specifically when I'm in an adjustment layer with a mask. I want to work on the mask using black and white brushes, something I've done thousands of times in PS. Under COLOR on the left there's an icon with a pair of black andwhite squares with a little arrow suggesting you can switch between them, but no... that just opens a color picker window where I don't seem to have any control at all. If I choose a new color and click OK the new color does not even show on the icon. After much fumbling I did get a nice 50% gray brush to replace the white, but now I can't get the white back. What am I missing? Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks.    

All of my folder names are prefaced by the year and month (ex. 2020-08 Picture). The default sort order of the folder listing is lowest to highest value, so the oldest folders appear at the top and most current at the bottom. Is there a way to reverse the sort order of the folders so the most recent folder is at the top of the list and do not have to scroll down far each time I open Elements? 

I recently upgraded to the new MAC and i am trying to load my version of PSE on it. The software loads to to 6% and then says the install is 100%, but then I get an error 11. The instructions say to uninstall and try to reinstall the software, that didn't work, still getting the error 11. Not sure what else to do

When I started using Photoshop Elements I became a huge fan of the Lighting effects filter as it allowed for more life to be put into the photos. Since upgrading to PE15 I have found that the filter has been removed and I am curious why?  If it was due to the release of Lightroom, I am severely disappointed as I don't have the kind of free funds needed to get, learn, and properly run Lightroom. If anyone knows of a reason, or even if the is a patch to add the filter back in; I am really curious as currently I am very disappointed in this development from Adobe
