Photoshop Elements

I have been using Organizer for many years.Last night I got as far as the Initialization screen when the next screen displayed "Please wait while catalog is being loaded".After a brief period, the program closed down and I was back on my desktop.I have spent hours trying to solve this. Any suggestions? 

Hi,I am using Photoshop Elements,2022 with Windows 11. I would like to know how to add white space to a photo, either on top for a title or on the bottom for a caption. I know it can be done, I just don't know how. I would appreciate any help.  Thanks,Arlene

I am using the free trial of Elements to see if I wish to purchase and am not able to figure out how to export a photo back to my computer after editing.  Any advice would be appreciated!

I cannot launch the organizer from the PSE from the home window.  The "Loading the Elements Organizer Workspace" message shows but nothing happens.  I tried loading it by going to the exe file but that doesn't work either.The editor does work.  Using on a Windows 10 PC. Thanks.

New computer (Win 10), partial transfer of PSE12 from old to new, but didn't work. Uninstalled PSE12 as suggested in Community. Made multiple attempts to re-install from original DVD/CD. Each time, get "Data error (cyclic redundancy check". Nothing to help via "Troubleshoot". No other options but to exit the installer. Please help.

HELP PLEASE...Cannot use organizer without seeing the pointer. If I uninstall PSE will I loose all the images (hundreds) in organizer? Are they saved somewhere else? Pointer shows in Editor but not in Organizer.

I know I'm new to this updated version from Elements 9, but it should be intuitive enough to allow me the option to just open the jpeg file. Do I have to adjust some menu setting to do this? As it is, with version 9, I didn't have to go up to a drop down menu to delete images then were bad. Now I have an extra step to  delete. Why is it that I have to convert my RAW files, taken with my D500, to jpeg for editing? Why not just open the jpeg instead of converting the RAW file. Are these guys idiots? If I "open with" a RAW file from the Nikon NX software so I can have full control over editing, and it just converts it to a jpeg, what use is this software. I might as well shoot everything in jpeg and skip the delay in converting and forphiet, and where's the intyping spellcheck here? It couldn't come up with the propere spelling for forfit, which is wrong, and know internet checking either? Come on!That really pissed me off when it wanted to convert RAW to jpeg. What the&nbs

Skiller Photoshopper here trying to get into Elements. One thing that I cannot get a handle on is how to switch brush colors, specifically when I'm in an adjustment layer with a mask. I want to work on the mask using black and white brushes, something I've done thousands of times in PS. Under COLOR on the left there's an icon with a pair of black andwhite squares with a little arrow suggesting you can switch between them, but no... that just opens a color picker window where I don't seem to have any control at all. If I choose a new color and click OK the new color does not even show on the icon. After much fumbling I did get a nice 50% gray brush to replace the white, but now I can't get the white back. What am I missing? Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks.    

All of my folder names are prefaced by the year and month (ex. 2020-08 Picture). The default sort order of the folder listing is lowest to highest value, so the oldest folders appear at the top and most current at the bottom. Is there a way to reverse the sort order of the folders so the most recent folder is at the top of the list and do not have to scroll down far each time I open Elements? 

I recently upgraded to the new MAC and i am trying to load my version of PSE on it. The software loads to to 6% and then says the install is 100%, but then I get an error 11. The instructions say to uninstall and try to reinstall the software, that didn't work, still getting the error 11. Not sure what else to do

When I started using Photoshop Elements I became a huge fan of the Lighting effects filter as it allowed for more life to be put into the photos. Since upgrading to PE15 I have found that the filter has been removed and I am curious why?  If it was due to the release of Lightroom, I am severely disappointed as I don't have the kind of free funds needed to get, learn, and properly run Lightroom. If anyone knows of a reason, or even if the is a patch to add the filter back in; I am really curious as currently I am very disappointed in this development from Adobe

ich habe ein problem ich kann Adobe Elements 22 nicht auf mein Windows 11 installieren. Auf win 10 ist es gegenagen und letztes Jahr habe ich auf win 11 umgestellt.Seitdem geht nichts mehr und immer kommen die gleichen Fehlermeldungen wie Fehlercode 183 und custom hook exe. Ich habe auch schon ein Microsoft mitarbeiter in meinen Rechner schauen lassen da ist alles ok. ich habe die cloud deinstalliert und neu installiert nichts. nur komisch auf win 10 lief mein adobe 21 sehr gut. mir wurde gesagt das adobe noch nicht für win 11 ausgelegt sei. Grade habe ich es nochmal versucht nichts fehlercode 183

I had no issues downloading my photo shop or preemiere elements on my windows 10 PC. I got a new PC with windows 11 and can not download photo shop elements; I keep getting the warning message that the file is currupted and that I should dowload it again. Premiere worked fine, just NOT photo shop. Is there an issue with photo shop running or installing on windows 11?Is there a different installation process available?

I recently update my Photoshop Elements to 22 from 19.  I used the same email for 22 vs 19 which is my personal email.  I have an account for Adobe Acrobat Pro DC for a different project and use an email associated with the non-profit.  All was cool under version 19.  Now I can't function sanely.     Right now, I'm constantly having to signoff/on.   The other things is that sometime I want to have both opened.   I'm editing a picture and get an email with a PDF attachment.   ARG!!!   What suggestion does anyone have?  

I am working on renaming all of my video files using Elements Organizer 2020.  Once I rename the file, it will create a new video with the new name in microsoft file exployer. Now I show 2 videos with 2 different names in file exployer. When I reopen Organizer, the watched folder will indicate that I have new files to import, however they are the orginal video files.  Why does organizer create a new file instead of just changing the name of my orginal file.  Which settings do I need to change to fix this? ThanksDawn 

About a year ago I updated my photoshop elements.  I had a long hiatus before that and I lost some of the skills I had learned.  I am pretty sure that I remember using an image to create a new brush.  When it was done you could use the brush kind of like a stamp to add over other papers or images.  For the life of me I cannot find the instructions on how to do that.  Can someone help me out?

Adobe elements 2019. With the Folder in the left panel, I create a new folder and give it its name.When I look for it to use it, it's gone.I don't see it anymore. But if I look under my image folder with file explorer then the folder exists.Can I get a suggestion on how to make the folder visible in my panel?Can I also get a suggestion on how to search folders?You can search for anything else

I cannot use Photoshop Elements 13.  I get a message saying I have too many activations.  I don't have access to the previous computers on which it was installed and I see no way on Adobe's website to deactive the previous installs.  I contacted Adobe Support and was told I had to post my problem in this forum.  Can the relevant support team please help me?  

When try to open Adobe Elements,Adobe does not recognize me as an authorized user of this web site.?

I purchased Photoshop elements 2018 when I bought a new computer. I used my redemption code, downloaded the software and entered the serial number for licensing.  When I launch Elements it requires that I sign in to adobe.  I want to use Photoshop elements offline.  Is this possible?  Also, when I sign out from Elements I get a message to the affect that I have to be signed in to use trial software but this is not trial software. I have a license and entered the serial number.

Does Photoshop Elements have Auto Align and Auto Blend to seamlessly stitch together multiple photos of a large object? I'm an artist and I do large paintings sometimes that I'd like to scan in pieces and stitch together. So it has to be seamless, not collaged. I heard Photoshop does, but does Elements? I don't want to spend through the nose every month for ever for the full one.
