Photoshop Elements

Hey guys 🙂 I had a number of styles installed in Photoshop Elements 15. Now, they seem to have disappeared. At any rate, I can no longer seem them - only the styles that came with the software. However, when I try to re-install them, the system won't let me because, apparently, they are already installed. But as I said, I simply cannot see them. Is there anything I can do?I'm on Windows 11. Many thanks in advance!

Elements Organizer reflects file location of photos to One Drive.  The One Drive files were inadvertently deleted (and am not able to restore).  How do I copy the photos on the Organizer to paste to a new folder (on C Drive), or redirect the files from the One Drive to a new folder.

I tried to install Adobe Elements 2022 fron DVD on my MS Surface Windows 11, but get all the time error 1, corrupt installation file. This tablet has an ARM-based processor (not with SSE4.1??) and not an AMD processor while AMD similar is required. Is it not possible to install on this machine?Jacques Bus

Basically, that's my entire question. I would like to get as many presets/filters for PE15 and as cheaply as possible. I've tried eBay, but the results weren't great. Is there some legitimate reseller?I found https://flourishpresets.com, but they don't do Elements. But something like that. For some time I've been trying to figure out what is corrupting the times my photos were taken as shown in Plex. So I methodically went through my steps and found the bug. If I add tags to one photo in organizer and then select it an choose File->Save Metadata to File, the file is saved, the keywords are added and a modify time stamp updates in the metadata. BUT, if I tag multiple files and then choose "File->Save Metadata to Files" the time on the DateTimeOriginal field also changes (but not the date). It's not my current time either. So if the photo has datetimeoriginal of "2022:04:18 14:11:24.160-05:00" and I set some keywords and write metadata to that one file datetimeoriginal does not change, but if I do multiple files at once I see it change to "2022:04:18 22:03:58-05:00". I'm subscribed and up to date so is current version, shows 20.0.0.0 in help->system info. This is a serious bug as there really is no recovery because those times are lost now. Ugh.

I had my entire catalog done for facial recognition (which works well).  Now, I found some photos that were scanned backwards (reversed), so I edited them to be in the proper orientation (along with wording able to be read).  But, now the facial recognition in Organizer is pointing to the faces in the old positions. Is there a way to re-analyze a photo so the facial recognition has the circle in the correct location WITHOUT resetting and starting all facial recognition from scratch?  thx!

Hi, I just purchased and installed Photoshop elements 2022. When I start the organizer, it opens up a backup dialog in the background, which stucks the organizer so that any of the menus won't work, and I can't do anything in there. Backup-dialog is not visible in task manager or program list with ALT-tab. When I close the organiser, the backup-dialog becomes visible, but whatever selection you make, it just crashes the organizer. How to get rid of this dialog? Organizer is absolutely useless now. I have Windows 11 laptop. BR, Ulla

I can even set the plugin directory to something totally irrelevant like in this screenshot, and still the same plugins show up in the menu.I noticed this, when I was try to figure out why a plugin Topaz Sharpen AI), that has worked fine for a long time, suddenly was gone from my plugin menu. Other 3rd party plugins like DXO filmpack, Nik Collection and Topaz Denoise are working still.

Hi, I'm a Photoshop Elements 2020 user with windows 10, unfortunately I can't view photos and videos uploaded from my android phone, since they are in HEIF and HEVC format. I tried to download the suggested codecs and I cleaned the cash, but I didn't solve the problem. Can someone help me? Or by purchasing Photoshop Elements 2022, do I solve the problem? Thanks

How do I download PSE8 to my new lap top. I have the  serial numbers etc.

I previously loaded scanned old photos into PSE 2022 Organizer and updated the General Info / Date field, for example with just the year using the ??? option for month in PSE.  I then decided to update the Date taken field outside of PSE. I then deleted the folder of scans from the catalog and then imported the folder with the updated dates.  However, PSE Oganiser still has the General Info / Date field set to the date that I entered into PSE previously. Can I clear these dates somehow and use the edited Date taken dates?

I recently purchased a new laptop to replace my previous which is over five years old. I am now going through my apps to ensure that I have transferred them ok, and, although I used Adobe Premiere successfully at the end of last week, on the new computer, when I tried using it just now I received the message that 'Your Adobe serial number has expired or is invalid'. I postedthis info on the Adobe Support line, and after checking my serial number was told that I needed to re-install the software using the download link provided.  This I did, re-installed the software and re-loaded it only now to be informed that 'The serial number is already in use by the maximum allowed computers. You need to deactivate another computer to use this product'.I've powered up my old laptop and loaded Premiere but can't see anywhere where I can deactivate it.  Can anyone help me? 

does the smart objects tool come with photoshop elements 2021

Hi, Whenever I try to download a Photoshop Elements plug-in, I get the following error message on the Photo Editor screen: "Could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document." Any fix for this? Running Photoshop Elements 2021, in Windows 10. Any help would be greatly appriciated. Many thanks in advance. Pax

My computer crashed and I lost everything inculding 2021 elements I purchased it last year and I cant find it anywhere no one from adobe has messeged me back. how can I get another copy of it to download without having to pay for it. 

I have an HP Spectre laptop and am using an HP tilt stylus with Photoshop 2022. I can use my stylus to select all the tools and can choose filters, etc., however the stylus won't edit the image once I select a tool. I can see the cursor on the image which moves with the stylus, but it won't edit. I can use any tool and edit the image using the touchpad or mouse, but prefer to use the stylus. The stylus works in Paint and other graphic software but stopped working in Photoshop about two months ago. Any help with this issue would be appreciated.  

1) I am using Adobe Photoshop Elements 2020. When I am in the Quick mode and open "Sharpen" I can not save an Auto or box selection like I can with the other five options "Quick" offers (Smart Fix, etc.) Can you tell me what I am doing wrong. 2) I touch up many of my picutres, but I am by no means a professional. Should I upgrade to APE 2022 or  another one of their programs, or stay where I am?Thank you very much.Tim

Je n'avais pas ce problème avant (avec une version plus ancienne). Merci de bien vouloir d'aider. (Pour être plus précise: la taille en pixels ne change pas toujours, quand je change la taille dans les cases du bas, je me demande pourquoi. Just a few of my feature requests for the Elements Organizer. What are your wants?1. Add ability to change font properties in captions and to place the caption where you want it in full screen mode.2. Restore Catalog: change "Restore From" default to Hard drive instead of CD/DVD. My last two laptops and desktop do not even have DVD players anymore.3. Be able to save metadata to video files.

Hello I just installed Photoshop elements 2022 and Premiere Elements 2022.In Elements Organizer I want to ajust date an time. I select to a specific date/Time.I can not enter hours higher than 12.I can use to arrow up. And when it gets to 12 it starts with 1 (Which will be 13 if I select it).There is no AM/PM buttom. Anyone experienced this? Kind regardsHans Jokumsen 

Hi,    I'm hoping somebody with more experience than I will be able to suggest how I solve a problem I have. I am cropping photos for a 6 x 4 photo frame and I want the person in the photo to be a certain size (13.1cm) so it shows nicely in the frame (I have 200 of these to do - and want them all to be the same). I've played around with rulers and grids but its still a hit or miss. I'd ber extremely grateful if one of the experts on here could suggest a process to do this please.Many thanksChris

I have photoshop elements downloaded on my desktop. I would like to have it on my laptop as well. Is that a possibility? If so, how do I go about downloading it to my laptop?Message title was edited by: Brett N

After I start PSE2022 Organizer the mouse pointer disappears.  It reappears from time to time when I do something else, but then disappears when I try to use PSE2022.  I have updraded from PSE 2020 to 2022.  I did not ans still do not have this problem with PSE2020.  Also, I have used PSE2022 for a few days without this happening.  I have researched a bit and fixing the task bar has been stated as a solution, but mine is already fixed. I have also seen a regedit suggesting but surely that can't be a solution.
