Photoshop Elements

Dear All, I recently changed my phone ad have now a Samsung S20. I played around with 108 megapixel photo and I am quite happy with the results. However, while the files are imported correctly into Elements organizer there is no thumbnail for them and I suspect they are also not analyzed. Did anyone have a similar problem with high megapixel files ? How to solve this issue ? Any suggestion welcome ....

Photo in Lightroom will not transefer to PSE 2022 after Selecting "Edit in PSE".  PSE opens but no file is displayed.  Returning to Lighrroom and there is a msg. that Lightroom can not open PSE (although it had opened PSE).  Clearing the msg. (click on open space) and another similar error msg. apperars.  Clearing that msg. and sometimes PSE 2022 will open with the photo displayed.I suspect the problem is with PSE 2022 opening screen.  It does not open in the Editor.  One has to select Editor among the options on the PSE opening display.   This is a major problem for me.  I have been using PSE 15 and the photos transfer from Lightroom w/o any problems  Is there anyway to bypass the opening screen and open PSE 2022 in the Editor or is there some other way to correct this bug?.   P.S. Is there a Knowledge Base for PSE?  I have been unable to find one.

Installing PE10 on new laptop I have noticed that although it has picked up the tagging on the photos in My Pictures I can't select individual tags in Organiser thereby rendering them useless. Could I now restore the catalogue from my previous installation which probably is what I should have done in the first place or does that mean that I'll be doubling up on all the pictures. Can I just delete the present catalogue and restore the previous one? I must confess that I am a bit of a newby at this. Running PE 10 on Win7 Prof.

Hallo,ich besitze seit kurzem die Version von Photoshop Elements 2022.Bisher konnte ich mit der Vorgängerversion eine geöffnete Grafik auch als PDF Datei speichern.Dieses Dateiformat steht leider unter "speichern unter" nicht mehr zur Verfügung.Ist diese Funktion generell nicht mehr verfügbar? Gruß in die Runde,Gerold

As of March 13, 2022 an older version of PSE 8 was working correctly on my older (circa late 2011) iMac running under Mac High Sierra OS 10.13.6.  As of today, 3/15/22 it won't load and yields some sort of Adobe Creative Cloud message.  Has anything changed that would cause PSE 8 not to function now on older iMacs running older Apple OS variations?

Hi, all. I have visited the PSE system requirements page at Adobe and do not see any reference to graphics cards for PSE 2022. Husband is shopping for a new laptop that will use PSE to do simple edits and use Camera Raw. Would an i7 or Ryzen 7 processor w/16GB of RAM and no (or shared) graphics card be sufficient for quick, smooth edits? He is currently using PSE 7 ( I know... !!) on an old i5 laptop with 8 GB of RAM and everything runs fine. PC only - he is not interested in a Mac. Thanks for input!  

Elements 19 has just stopped switching between my 2 Printers an L382 and L1800.I mainly use the L1800 but used the L382 recently and now it wont switch back to the L1800

I have PSE 2019 and I literally have thousands of images for my history, webs ,family etc.For some reason last night the pics on all pages were changed to the PSE icon. I dont want this, how can I look through all my images if theyare all the same. How do I revert my folders to show real time pics not icons

I am using the PE2018 trial version. The only option I have to import from my scanner is WIA. It is not allowing me to use my Epson scanner software to adjust the photos prescan. I was able to do this using PE12. Any help would be much appreciated.Edit

I have accidentally deleted a frame from the Graphics Panel in Photoshop Elements 13.  I have been using the frame in a photobook I am creating, and really need to find a way to get it back, or if it's possible to download it again. I have checked the Recycle Bin, but it's not in there. It's called the Tattered Frame, and has stitches across the top left corner and right hand bottom corner. I run a PC with Windows 10.  Please if someone can help, I would really appreciate it, as my project will not be able to be completed as I want it, if I can't get the frame back. I bought the Photoshop Elements 2019 in the download format. When I click on it to download, it states that I need to update my computer, but my computer is updated. I am using Microsoft Edge for my browser and I am running Windows 10 Home 21H2.  I had the program on my computer and it was running fine, but it was accidentally uninstalled.  Now it won't let me install it again.  Any help out there is greatly appreciated. Thanks. 

Hi,I just upgraded from Elements 13 to 2022.  Previosuly when I selected Enhance and then a submenu item, I got a grid with a dot in it over a copy of the image.  I could adjust the dot as I wished to get desired effects.  Now it all seems to be discreet on or off items.  Is there a way to return to the old set-up?Thanks.Terry.

Can't open PSE 2019 MacOS Monterey.  Wheel spins and stops.  Unistalled and tried to re-install and get Error code 41: Unable to access a critical file/directory.  Contact Adobe chat with no help, just stated software is "OLD" and not supported.  Any suggestions.

I am a newbie to photoshop elements and falling at the first hurdle.  I am doing a bulk import of my photographs and there are some 25K photographs in on folder.  The import seems to work i.e. it completes, no complaints but nothing ever shows up.  No warnings, no error messages.....and most importantly no images.  I've tried multiple occasions also using the import from files and folders with exactly the same result.   I know the import is fundementally working as I carved off a few hundred pictures into a another folder and they imported fine.  I can only assume there are one or more files which are causing some sort of issue but with no indication of just which file(s) it is then its going to take a long time to binary chop my way through 25K images. There must be some way of finding out why the import is failing.The catlogue seems to have increase in size since the import.  I have optomised and repaired it, all to no effect.  I

Through trial and error, I finally found out what is happening. When installing from PSE2019, PSE2020 .exe or downloaded .zip full installer, people are getting an error when you need to sign-in to adobe account for access. I received such an error when I redid my computer this year. Microsoft has killed flash support on the Windows 10 latest updates. Adobe has killed support and no longer is available for download. Adobe would have to redo the installers, either online or downloaded .zip full installer. I doubt Adobe is going to do this. From my analysis, when you install PSE2019 or PSE2020, it goes out to Adobe servers for Flash download, but is not there, therefore it's broke as is. Workaround (I've confirmed through my own machine and VM machine): If you already have PSE2019 or PSE2020 installed, disregard installation of PSE. 1. Download Creative_Cloud_Set-Up.exe which is 2343 kb2. Login to your Adobe account via Creative Cloud, and you

Elements 2022.  Have a photo folder in the Organizer.  The delete option is not active (dimmed out).  How do I delete this folder?

Hallo zusammen,ich habe mir in 2011 Photoshop Elements 10 gekauft, welches bisher auf meinen Rechnern auch sehr gut lief.Jetzt wollte ich die Software auf einem neuen Laptop installieren und bekomme immer die Fehlermeldung, Dass ich keine gültige Lizenz habe.Die Software habe ich aus dem Adobe-Shop gekauft, sie liegt als CD vor. Auf der Rückseite ist die Lizenz-Nr.Kann mir jemand sagen, warum die nicht mehr funktioniert und ob ich diese irgendwo wieder reaktivieren kann?Vielen Dank vorab.Gruss // Jürgen

In a multi-layer project when I add text, I like to get the best out of the text that I add. In a layer of text I use drop shadows and whatever works. During the project, I may decide I want to reposition the text. Yes, you've guessed with effects on the text I'm stuck and cannot move as it leaves shadows of the text. My question is how do I flatten the text-only that I've worked on, so I can move it still keeping all my other layers intact?Thank you.

Hard drive failed. Recent backup done. Replaced hard drive. Restored data. Pictures are restored. Installed Elements 11 but the catalog is not found. On my backup I have the path: Users/wilso/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/ and in that are several folders including Elements Organizer and Photoshop Elements. -------------On my new hard drive I have C: Program Files (x86)/Adobe/Elements 11 Organizer.-----I attempted to retore the Elements Organizer folder from the backup to the hard drive folder  OS (C:) Program Files (x86)/Adobe/.   I'm not sure the backup folder named Elements Organizer has the catalog in it. When I attempted to retore that folder, all it copied were empty folders. A less important question is in regard to migration.I am planning to finally move forward to the current Photoshop Elements. I have some files in pse format. I read that the pse format is no longer used. Will I lose the ability to open pse files when I migrate forward? If not, will

How do I create bleed and crop marks

My Elements 2022 disappeared so I reinstalled it (twice). Now it will not open Raw files. Camera Raw does not open. I can open a jpeg but when I try to save it , it wants to save as MP4, jpeg is not an option. My system is Windows 10. Any suggestions? It had been working fine since Nov 29, 2021.
