Photoshop Elements

Help! I got an error:16.  What do I need to do to get my elements to work?Thanks for any help you can give.Linda A.

I have got an iMac 2020. I upgraded to the Monterey os. I launched 2020 ps element 2020 when it always crashed so I uninstalled the software and I reinstalled it when I saw error 1 creative cloud has been corrupted. I uninstalled the creative app. I tried to reinstall ps element software again when I saw error code 403 installation failed. Something went wrong while installing my creative cloud.

Adobe Photoshop Elements Version: 20.0 (20220217.Git.dot.e5d7dda)  x64. Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit.  Trying to color a picture.  Brush mode is color, image MODE RGB color.  I can paint with any color, red, Green, blue or anything in between.  When I Selected the default color black (foreground), it actually removes the color.  Selecting the default White (background) does the exact same thing.  Image set to normal blend mode.  The update just came up this evening so  I did it.  I have completely removed the elements installation and reinstalled with the exact same results.  All other functions seem to be operating normally.  When the brush mode is set to normal, black and white work but of course you can’t see through it.  Tried multiple images.  I created a solid black layer and filled it with black, added a layer mask.  Black revels and white conceals.  Modes set to normal.  Have reloaded pr

I am setting up a new computer.  I have copied all the photos from the old computer to the new computer to an identical address, ie. C:\Picture Organizer.  I have the backup catalog on an external hard drive.  When I started to restore it to the c:drive it said an identical folder already existed and asked if I wanted the files to be added to the same folder.   I was afraid I might end up with duplicate photos if I accepted.  Since I have over 4000 photos I didn't want that to happen.  Can you tell me if the actual photos are backed up with the catalog backup or are they only thumbnails.

   Can somone tell me what the eye with the slant through it in the bottom left corner means in this thumbnail. I see it a lot but it doesn't seem to be defined anywhere.Thanks,   

J'ai acheté ce logiciel "By Eptimum" une première fois en février 2021 et une deuxième fois en septembre 2021, par erreur. Depuis j'essaye de l'installer et je n'y arrive pas.J'ai téléchargé une nouvelle fois et comme d'habitude à la fin de téléchargement j'ai eu le message suivant : "Veuillez quitter la procédure et le lancer manuellement (Code d'erreur : 199).  Je suis très déçu car j'ai acheté 2 fois ce logiciel et depuis le mois de février 2021 je ne suis pas arrivé une seule fois à l'utiliser.J'ai prix conseil auprès de mon vendeur enfin celui que l'on m'a imposé et à aucun moment je n'ai eu de solution conernant ce type d'erreur, c'est lamentable.Si vous avez une solution à ce problème je suis preneur, merci.Salutations.JP.ARONDEL

When I try to use the Rectangular tool, it automatically switches over to the elliptical tool, and I cannot reset it to do a Rectangular cut or copy. this just started about a week ago and I cannot get it to clear up.  Any Ideas how to get this reset to work properly!>>????

I originally used PSE 2021 without any issues until I upgraded my OS to macOS Monterey. Now PSE 2021 won't launch at all, and searching online for a work around / updates, I can't make sense of what I can do to over come this problem. Do I have to purchase PSE 2022 ... another $60-70, again?

how do i open quick mask by using the shortcut on the keyboard in photoshop element 2020 on the mac ?

As a new user to the Adobe Elements Organizer, we are a little anxious about inadvertantly deleting our actual photo or video files.  As such, we have a few basic questions regarding albums, catalogs, and how they relate to the actual files on the hard disk as follows: FIRST, we are assuming that ALBUMS contain shortcuts to the actual files on the hard disk and that deleting albums and album categories does not delete any actual files on the hard disk, correct? SECOND, does deleting a CATALOG delete the files on disk or just the catalog database pointing to the media file locations? THIRD, when backing up a CATALOG, the user guide makes it sound like the actual media files on the hard disk are also backed up.  This would be a huge backup.  Is that correct or is just the catalog database pointing to the file locations backed up? These are basic questions, but inherently key to preventing any inadvertent loss of original files.  Than

J'ai été invité à faire une màj de PSE 2022. Echec de la mise à jour et l'application à disparu du dossier.Après maints essais et dépannages par chat, impossible de réinstaller PSE 2022. Mise à jour ATTENTION...Adobe ne sait pas réparer pour le moment. Je vais réinstaller Mac OS Catalina tout neuf et réinstaller toutes les applis.J'ai pu installer PSE 2022 sur un disque externe de secours avec Catalina donc mon HDD interne doit avoir un souci.Si quelqu'un a une idée : MERCI. 

How can you set elements to let you know if a thumb nail of a picture is not connected to a file on the drive.Many times I click on a thumb nail and it then tell me the file is missing and puts the question mark on the thumb nail but the previously to clicking the thumb nail there was no question mark to indicate that the file was missing?  It would be nice to know which thumb nails have missing files so I could delete that thumb nail or reconnect it.  I am sure there is a setting somewhere but I have not found it.'Thanks for the help.

I had my catalog all set up from years of using Elements.  I updated to Elements 2022 and the conversion process copied my entire catalog to a different file location.  How do I fix this, return to my original file location.  I do not need two copies of my entire catalog, that is a waste of space.  Thank you for any advice!

Bonjour, Je viens d'installer photodhop elements sur mac Monterey. Lorsque j'importe des photos présentes sur un fichier de mon disque dur, je peux immédiatement après, via elements orghanizer, renommer les fichiers, changer des photos d'un fichier à l'autre... tout fonctionne patrfaiatement.Toutefois si je quitte le programme et que je le rouvre ensuite, je n'ai plus cette possibilité.  Pour la retrouver, je dois ré-importer inutilement des photos qui sont toujours présentes et accessible dans le catalogue. Quelqu'un peut m'aider ? bonjour, j'ai installé photoshop elements sur mon i.mac de 2015, j'ai aussi un MacBook Pro de 2015 où j'essaie d'installer Photoshop elements également et ça ne fonctionne pas alors que mes 2 ordis sont à niveau macOS Monterey 12.2 Que faut-il faire ?

Serial number is claimed to be used on other devices, even though I use it only on one device. When I log on to Adobe account, I see that no device is activated. Unable to use PE.

Nachdem unser Account von Adobe ohne unser Zutun gelöscht wurde, haben die Supportmitarbeiter ihn wieder mit den vorher darin gespeicherten Lizenznummern neu angelegt.Zwei der Drei Programme (Acrobat und Premiere) starteten danach auch wieder einwandfrei, ohne dass ich die Lizenznummer neu eingeben musste. Bei Photoshop Elements bleibt der Programmstart bei der Eingabe der Lizenznummer stehen und fordert zur Eingabe auf. Diese erfolgte durch copy and paste direkt mit der Lizenznummer aus dem Konto (vertippen also ausgeschlossen). Mit "weiter" folgt die Meldung" Diese Lizenznummer ist ungültig". Der Vorschlag, die alte Version zu löschen und von der Kontoseite neu herunterzuladen, wurde durchgeführt. Ergebnis: Keine Veränderung, die Fehlermeldung "Lizenz ungültig" kommt immer noch. Whenever I resize something in Photoshop Elements 14, I get this confirmation dialog: Is there any way to skip this? When I make a change, I want it to happen immediately. I can always undo if needed. In Expert mode, I feel like this should be able to be disabled. Is there any way to do so?

how do you make icons larger when viewing photos

Buongiorno, stavo tentando di installare premiere elements e photoshop elements. Indipendentemente da quale si installa per prima il setup funziona perfettamente e il programma va una meraviglia. Installando il secondo, non importa quale dei 2 si fa prima o dopo, immediatamente avviando il setup si blocca con errore sconosciuto, installazione non riuscita. C'è il link richiedi aiuto ma chiede un codice errore che naturalmente non da. Se disinstallo uno per installare l'altro funziona tranquillamente. Il problema si verifica quando si tenta di installare il secondo prodotto. Qualcuno sa come si può fare? Grazie.
